Original seedball sketch | Limited edition fine art print from an original drawing. My sketches start life as hand-drawn graphite images made on cartridge paper. I often work on these with charcoal, oil pastel or Caran d'Ache to create the look I'm after. The artwork is then scanned and finessed digitally ready for fine art printing. This process often referred to as Giclée printing uses the highest standard of printing methods to give gallery quality results that maintain all the details of the original sketch. The graphite pencils I use are Faber-Castel, the oil pastels are Sennelier and the china-graph is Caran d’Ache. The inks are pigment based archive quality (100years+). The heavyweight specialist papers I use are of the best professional quality having a wonderful surface designed specifically for fine art drawings and illustrations. Very limited editions with only ten per size printed. All artwork is signed and includes a certificate of authenticity. The A5 are 5.8" x 8.25" (14.8cm x 21cm) The A4 are 8.25" x 11.7" (21cm x 29.8cm) The A3 are 11.7" x 16.5" (29.8 cm x 42cm) The A2 are 16.5" x 23.4" (42 cm x 59.4cm) Originals are A3 11.7" x 16.5" (29.8 cm x 42cm) Frames not included in price. Free shipping on artwork to all destinations.

We partnered with Justice For My Sister a non profit that teaches BIPOC youth filmmaking and acting. We made seed balls and they told me about their projects. The future looks bright for these future filmmakers and actors!

Okay, name time-
Top five prefixes you want to see used, top five you want to see used again, top three you never want to see again and top three you never want to see used ever
Well for one I have a MASSIVE soft spot for prefixes that are ecologically valid, but remind you of something totally different in English.
Dragon, from Dragonfly
Jelly, from Jelly-ear mushrooms
Fry and Chip, from baby fish and a piece of stone
Clock, from the seedball stage of a dandelion
Nymph, from a young dragonfly
Copper, the color not the metal
So I wish that WC did it more. I LOVE Bayshine, how people think it refers to a body of water and not the bay willow!
I wish there were more verb names, too, but not adverbs. Just as a matter of style, but I wish there were more prefixes along the lines of;
Cut
Crush
Smash
Rip
Hover
Float
Dive
Pop
Shout
Twirl
Dance
Jump
Grapple
I just think they're neat. Jumpfire was a fantastic name, but something bothers me about "Running" for no reason.
So for names I don't like seeing... honestly, adverb names for NO reason. Runningwind, Runningnose, Runningbrook. Don't like em.
And ecologically inaccurate ones. Obviously the Erins don't research like I do, but I DO SO I GET TO CARE. No more Hickory. No more Cypress. No more Olive. NO. I like weird justifications for these names though, see above, or odd "translations."
Like Myrtle for example, in Clanmew her name is "Wayfairingtree-Bloomed," but translated as Myrtle because it's a shorter name and more widely known. I like the idea of that, though, obviously canon doesn't do that lmao.

Thursday again: viddy game London edition. Still.
I would have had this out yesterday except for this and that and the apartment building being evacuated for a fire alarm. No harm done that I am aware of, happily.
Listening
youtube
It's the Sunless Sea theme song. It makes me happy.
And since I do not have the three hundred sixty five dollars with which to bribe KUNV into letting me play guest DJ with the Casey Kasem soundalike, I'll just have to inflict this on you guys instead :)
Reading
Every so often I check in on the debris from former hyperfixations, such as The Best Beekeeping Blog on the web. Here's an interesting write up of why seedballs are A. Cool and punk, and B. sadly don't work that well
Visiting
Fallow. I'm about to spend a bucketload at one of the fanciest restaurants in Vegas, after all.
Eating
A half dozen eggs are three dollars at my Trader Joe's, so I made meatloaf with oatmeal and diced swiss. Forgot the ketchup but added it just before the end.
Writing
It stuck.
Tasted all right tho.
Did some work on the original novel thing. Go me.
Playing
Fallen London Fallen London Fallen London no I can't shut up about it. sorry.
I've got to do forty lab experiments before I start laying railway track. You have to have board meetings in realtime once a week. Long term commitment ahead. We're talking months here.
And since I am, like, pathologically terrible at setting long term goals (my impulse is always to Do The Thing ASAP), this is...well. Different.
Kind of nice.

Send "❥" and I will share a ship I have a bias for with my muse!
gonna try to talk about some others before i talk about my Main main ship for kaki, so. lmao
first one would have to be yamcha/kaki. they're my designated sweet & fluffy ship that i have that's technically not canon and aside from all the canon story stuff going on with kaki because sometimes. i think she should be happy and chill out a little
i havent rly explored it too much on my own recently but at a baseline i feel like they would be the perfect antithesis to bulma & vegeta, in the sense they'd probably actually be able to function as a healthy loving couple that like each other as people 💀 yeah kaki's got her things, but she isn't evil at all & just needs some patience and understanding, things i think yamcha would readily give her once he gets past the initial distrust he may have with her, considering she's very similar to vegeta in the sense she worked for freeza (and was high in the ranks, at that)
also they should bond over cultural similarities of baseball and seedball, which is a sport very similar in premise to baseball the brench have :3

Résultats du grand comptage de papillons 2023 au Royaume-Uni : le nombre de papillons a augmenté cet été
Butterfly numbers INCREASED this summer Results of this year’s Big Butterfly Count revealed Wetter summer was good for butterflies, with average number of butterflies spotted highest for four years
Wild News – British Naturalists' Association
PRESS RELEASE – Embargoed to 00:01 15 September 2023
"However, new 13-year trend figures show a worrying long-term decline Habitat loss biggest driver of decline; people urged to take action by creating a Wild Space"
