Only two more exams left and then my vacation starts and I have more time to draw arts and write my novels. I wanted to change my name for my self-insert ship but I think Afra is good too 🤷‍♀️.

Something I made on Valentine’s Day at the last moment. I just love Hilda the more I got to know her in Stella Glow, and I figured I’d try something familiar but hoping I got it correctly.

This image was also inspired by a Funamusea/Ogekom/Deepseaprisoner artwork, so make of that what you will. I’ll be posting the colored version when it’s done.

Recently remembered back in like 2005 or something when I was getting into fanfic. My Dad was a helicopter parent and wanted me to print it out so he could ‘go over’ it. I found this like 40-something chapter Quizilla Self_Insert/Sesshomaru fic, no beta, probably written by a teenage girl who put her heart into it, mostly slice of life stuff but with plenty of “A/N: you’ll be back next chapter right Sesshy-kun? Lord Sesshomaru: Hn, only because you’re kawaii. Otherwise I’d kill you. Me: *blushes*” At the end of each chapter. It was like 230 pages long. All the A/N were in bold font. It was a lot of ink.

Thank you fanfic writers. Your work is too often not appreciated like it should be.

This throws me back to the early days of geocities/yahoo groups. A/Ns were far more common back then for a number of reasons. I didn't get a printer until the last year of highschool and ink cartridges here in my country was REALLY expensive so I had to "justify" what I wanted to print

My parents weren't bad or nosy, mind you, they just rather I used the ink and paper for school stuff. (They've always known I write so that has never been an issue).

Fun aside: I remember one year in my group of friends we gifted a a printed/book bound version of the fanfic she had written to a girl in the group for her birthday and to this day I remember how happy she was about it.

Thanks to this blog, I discovered Shippu! Iron Leaguer and started watching it. Now, I'm hopelessly in love with Magnum Ace. Could you do some Magnum Ace x reader stuf?

Shippu!! Iron Leaguer is an underappreciated sports anime and I’m really glad to hear I got someone interested. It gets even better when you find out each main character gets their own theme in which they sing.  (The ending will kill you though…)

Ever since Magnum Ace’s mysterious appearance, you would have to admit you quickly became infatuated by his altruistic nature, soft voice and gentle authority. You keep yourself up at night giggling at thinking he’s the “shining prince of Silver Castle”. But you’d rather die than tell him that.

On the few days he isn’t training with his practicing with his team, he’ll offer to show you how to properly hit a home run(human sized ones, of course lol)! He’ll your hips and rotate them for a proper swing. Your face became instantly red every time your butt brushed against his pelvic guard. Magnum Ace didn’t really seem to notice. It was embarrassing but you didn’t want it to stop.

You just felt so happy in arms with his hands holding yours.

At one point he let you try to hit a ball by yourself. To be frank, you were simply awful without him but he kept on having you try over and over again. You felt like just ending it until you suddenly stuck the ball right out of sight!

He held you up in a tight hug. “Y/N! I knew you could do it!” he said as you couldn’t help but become transfixed on those cool teal eyes of his.
