How to add a frame to a digital print! (Via Elle Knight)
Artsplash.com + (cc under cut)
If you're an artist who sells prints and you wanna showcase your art in frames like this, but you don't wanna spend money on a frame, then I got you!
Go to Unsplash.com - It's a free stock image site with high quality photos and go ahead and search up the frame that you want and download it. For this part I usually use Photoshop, but I'm assuming all you have is Procreate. So go ahead and open up Procreate with that frame.
Once you have it open, go ahead and scale it to the size you want and delete the background like this. Now you're going to take your image and add it right underneath the layer of the frame, and voila!
ASK: How to make prints/Which website should I use as an intermediary?
I see that some of you are interested in my paintings and want to get prints. Therefore, can you guys suggest some websites? Mostly I want to sell them to everyone at a price that covers the printing and shipping costs on my side. But I have no intention of actually selling it for profit. I live in SEA and never sell prints so it's kinda takes time for me to figure it out! Thank you guys!
Do you think you'd ever sell prints or stickers of your art? Because if so, let me know and I will send many dollars your way, I'm OBSESSED with your art love!!!
Hi there!! 👋👋
Well, I want to do a few things regarding of selling my art, and selling prints is one of them, but nothing immediately soon. I've got some personal projects that I need to finish first, or otherwise I'm going to be overwhelmed and I won't do anything at all.
I know my times and processes.
But it's true that this desire of actually selling prints, or stickers, or opening commissions, or creating a Patreon is something that's been floating in my mind for a while. I will absolutely keep you posted when I decide to jump right into it.
However, I need to tell you, you don't have any idea how it makes me feel when you (and it's been a few now) tell me that you'd be willing to actually purchase what I do. It is something that it wouldn't have crossed my mind just a few months ago.

Prints were never a big part of my anime convention artist alley table. I did photo prints, but nothing larger than 4x6- I mostly sold original art and commissions! Adding prints to your merch is an affordable way to improve your sales margins and make your art accessible, but they didn't really sell for me, and I was never happy with the quality.
Since I'm shifting the types of shows I do as I get older, I figured I'd give offering prints another shot, and decided to take my friends' repeated suggestions to give Catprint a try! I was skeptical, because I've never been satisfied with how my watercolor art is printed, but Catprint really wowed me!
If you like my art, some of the prints shown here are available in my online shop- https://www.nattosoup.com/shop - and I'm working on adding more!
