In a way, that's precisely what you were. Your first stop was an alms-house you knew about. Old, run down, a den of disease and suffering the gentry and the guards all ignored. Nobody's asking questions about who comes and goes from there, even less in the dead of night. The perfect place to lay low until the right time. You took the opportunity while there to swipe a blanket or two. You weren't worried about disease, potions are cheap enough, and you only needed it to cover you from the grotty lodgings to the network of sewers and drains under the city.

So you sat. In that stinking hovel. Turning the enchanted copper ring that would get you home over and over in your fingers. It was probably worth more than the building you hid in, but only you new that. Lily had advised you to get one made, getting it bound to a spot so far away wasn't cheap, but it was doable and you'd paid for the best you could get.

The appointed hour drew close. Covered in blankets, affecting a hunch, you scurried down an alleyway to a loose grate. Amazing how nothing ever gets fixed in the bad parts of town, even after so long. The pile of blankets muffled you closing the grate behind you before stealing into the dark. You knew these tunnels. They were your favourite haunts as a teen, playing with your little sister, fantasising about getting away and growing old together. You both knew it couldn't ever be. The cistern was your home from home. You hung sheets from the ceiling once upon a time, dividing the upper level into rooms of sorts. It was like you'd never left.

The blankets were still vibrantly coloured, if a little rat-gnawed at the bottom edges. Your blankets were gone, so you could see through the grate to the dark water glinting below, but you knew the layout.

Lily waited for you in the centre of the cistern, under the grate in the pavement that led straight down, the moonlight hitting her in a silvery beam as she cradled a swaddled bundle in her arms.

"Lily, it's me" you whispered.

Your sister turned. You could see her robe was open at the front, the infant in her arms latched onto a breast. Your eyes drew down to her belly, round and gravid

"You have another one on the way?" That wasn't part of the plan "I think I can recall with you both, but I'm not sure... Why didn't you tell me?"

All drawings will include a subtle sign or watermark that you may not remove.

I reserve the right to record the drawing process and post it on my YouTube at any time.

Prices are subject to change with notice.

I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.

All art will be protected to fight against Generative AI.

I do not consent to my work being fed into Generative AI, DO NOT FEED MY ART INTO ANY GENERATIVE AI PROGRAMS.

2. PAYMENT

Currency accepted is USD and can be paid through PayPal or Cash App. 

Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.

3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY

I will notify you when I have started on your commission and you, therefore, lose the rights to a refund (see point 7 further below for more info on refunds)

While I am working on your commission, I will check in at various stages to ensure it is what you want.

The amount of communication depends on the complexity of the work.

During the communication, you will see the work-in-progress and these images will include a watermark.

The time it takes to finish your commission varies: 1 week - 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, and other work.

If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will send you an email informing you of the delay.

Once the piece is compete you will receive the full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size. Note that there is no physical product.

4. REVISIONS

Three(3) rounds of revisions to the commissioned piece are included in the price.

A fee will be added for each additional revision on the commission.

If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, there will be a fee to change it. The amount of the additional charge depends on the change you want me to make.

If your reference is unclear from the start, changes will come at an extra fee. If I find your references to be unclear, this will be communicated in our emails.

5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY

I, Hollowbackg1rl (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:

Display it on any and all platforms

Promote myself with it on any and all platforms of my choosing

Publish books with it (artbooks, etc.)

The buyer is allowed to:

Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you may upload it on all of your social media profiles, forums, etc.)

Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as your own, but not the artwork itself.

Use the artwork to promote yourself. You are not forced to give me credit when you post it but it is appreciated.

Use the artwork on your YouTube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.

The following is considered copyright infringement:

Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially

Claiming the artwork as your own

Removing my signature from the artwork

Altering the artwork without my consent

6. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

I will do everything I can within reason to make my customers happy!

If you have a problem with anything in regards to the commissioned piece, communicate that to me right away so we can find a solution together.

If you do not want me to post your commission publicly, we can discuss this before I accept your commission.

7. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

The buyer is not allowed a refund once I begin work on the commission.

If for any reason I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel your order before I begin work on it, you can get a full refund.

If you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all before-mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will retain the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted from commissioning me again.

If the buyer breaks any of the terms stated above, they will lose all aforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned from me, Hollowbackg1rl (the artist). I will retain the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. These terms are non-negotiable.

Whats GameFly, can I ask?

GameFly is an online video game rental service. It's basically what Netflix used to be before it was a streaming platform, but for video games. For a monthly fee, my family has a queue of games that we want to play and are able to rent a certain amount at a time. Usually 3 but we've bumped it down to 2 recently because I have some pretty huge games I'm playing at the moment and don't have as much space for new ones.

They send us the discs in the mail. We can play them and then either return them or keep them for a discounted purchase price. We also get membership coupons and stuff that knocks even more off the Keep cost.

Once we either buy the game or they get notified that the game is on its way back, they send out the next game. There are options to toggle how they decide what game to send: Either they scan from top to bottom of the queue and send out whatever the first available title is, or we can have them hold the queue for up to 7 days and wait to see if the #1 item at the top of the queue becomes available.

(if you ask how they use tumblr without computers it works off filmbook strips. you have your strip and then you add new frames onto it to post or copy & stitch on other frames to reblog. and then this gets transmitted over and synchronized every day through the Guild mail then printed onto filmbook strips your followers have. Feyd is an edgy maleblogger trying to be hard with a name like @poisonedbladecoldplasteel who posts his sparring videos and is mutuals with Duncan. he thinks Paul is a girl and is always trying to get her attention. once Duncan posted a video which accidentally showed the Atreides crest and Feyd went reblogged with a rant about how he can't believe he's an Atreides supporter, does he know what Philippos XV did to House Lankiveil, he's so disgusted. but he didn't actually break mutuals.

Paul is @myterriblepurpose and has a description like ~ sweet little kangaroo mouse ravished by God's cruel hawk ~. he would mainly reblog desert animal pictures, OC Bible quotes with long soliloquies underneath, and balliset songs & pictures of guerillas, especially off Jamis's blog which still has an active queue.

Chani @strawberrysietchblade mainly reblogs the same cute animals Paul does, girly sietchcore, and pictures of guerillas. she also has a forcefrem kink sideblog.

Irulan @the-history-heiress is like a prim fandom & history blogger who tries to be informative & professional but isn't terribly good at being accurate. she leaves long comments on all of Paul's soliloquies which he never responds to.

Alia @virginscheme has an incoherent mix of interests and random ravings which only Paul replies to. she loves to mock & correct Irulan, and often sends backhanded compliment anons (especially to Irulan and Rabban).

Hasimir @comtedelachapelle has a nearly empty blog with a few random reblogs from years ago, but he likes everyone's posts and often sends anons.

Margot @m07h3r0fmy573ri5 has some sort of 18+ kink blog (what the alleged kink is supposed to be isn't exactly clear to anyone). she wants to be flirty & playful and it comes across very cringe. she followed everyone but Paul & Irulan & Chani blocked her, while Feyd & Duncan & Alia followed her back. she tried to make it standard practice to post your entire genome in your bio.

Piter @stainsbecomewarnings reblogs fashion, desolate architecture, photos of vials of sapho & spice, and sometimes gore. he's one of the very few followers of Chani's sideblog.

Rabban @beast-dukeofthedesert-132 mainly reblogs generic memes and cute animal videos and Feyd's stuff and pictures of gorillas. his original posts are entirely in the form of old-fashioned Advice Animals like WHEN UNCLE REMOVES THE KINETIC ARTILLERY BOTTOM TEXT with a very distraught-looking fur whale.

Please provide visual references or clear description beforehand. State what you want/don’t want etc. This includes color palette and character personality/face expressions if you have any in mind. If you want an outfit designed, please also provide visual references. (stick figures are welcome!)

I will send you a preview of the Illustration during the sketching process where changes can be made, do keep in mind big changes cannot be made after this. Only small tweaks.

If your commission has a deadline, the commission must be made at LEAST a week beforehand and talked it through, also please come with a clear idea of what you want because I won't be making changes every 5 minutes under a deadline.

In case of no background, backgrounds will be a random base color by default, but base props or a very basic background can be added.

I’m willing to do light NSFW, but won’t accept hardcore NSFW. This means I’ll accept to do characters in sexy positions and clothes halfway off, light bondage, sexy clothes, lingerie, etc. but I won’t draw genitalia, rape/non-con, body-horror, underage characters and so on. The details can, whoever, be discussed.

I usually post finished commissions on social media, but you can tell me if you prefer to keep yours private. You’re also free to post yours anywhere with the proper credit without needing to ask me first – but you CANNOT reproduce it for profit. (that includes posting on commercial social media accounts)

The commission will take about a week to complete, and there may be a queue. (so depending on your place in the queue, I might take some time to finish your commission.)

The commission will be delivered through E-mail or through the DM’s of the social media you contacted me through. But if you’re more comfortable doing it any other way, please let me know.

I just have to say, I love how fast you work to get new products in. Whenever I see a new design show up, I usually think "well its probably going to be a long wait for that" and I'm surprised when I check back a short while later to see it's already on the site and already sold out 😂

LOL well part of this is because we only take product photos, at most, 1-2 weeks before they hit the store. the actual art was made weeks earlier

here’s how a production cycle goes:

a new design is made by me or a collab artist

it gets put into the production schedule, usually in the next available production batch unless that’s already filled. very rarely that means it goes into production that week, but usually it takes 2-4 weeks before it goes to print

we send the files to the factory to do test prints, which they then mail to us for approval

prints are approved or rejected. the designs that are approved go into production immediately, while the ones that need tweaking get revised and are moved to the end of the print queue

the production cycle itself usually takes 8-12 weeks

we get an estimated shipping date so we know which week the skirts will arrive and we pick a tentative launch day

we get the skirts in our office

we take photos and videos within a week of receiving the products. ariel and i usually shoot separately, but in a pinch we can shoot on the same day and can even direct each other in shoots (this is what happened in the most recent shoot)

once photo shoots are scheduled we 100% finalize our product launch day

ash gets me 1 edited photo of each design within 1-2 days of each shoot. i start posting to socials and the newsletter with proper photos instead of mockups

ash does some post processing on the videos, basically just runs them thru some premiere presets and gets them back to me in 2ish days so i can start drafting up tiktoks

ash gets the rest of the photos edited within a week. sometimes i get them a few days before launch, sometimes i get them literally the night before

devin or ash makes the new product listings once we have all the photos. i add photos, product tags, double check the URLs, etc. ash or devin adds inventory and we make the listings visible with a countdown timer for launch. this is usually doable 1-2 days before launch but sometimes happens the night before.

⛔ On Blocking & Filtering I typically only block bots, trolls, and, if I notice, anyone who has blocked me. However, I extensively use content and tag filters in conjunction with XKit to hide filtered posts entirely. This occasionally means "false positives" will be caught in the filter, and I might miss posts and notifications as a result.

💌 On Following Back I honestly don't follow new blogs often, and I won't follow blogs at all if they don't meet these two criteria at minimum:

The blogger must be over 18 years old, although I typically prefer following folks who are at least in their late 20s.

A basic and consistently used tagging system must be in place (e.g., at least tagging the title for a piece of media or the name of a character).

💔 On Unfollowing I will sometimes unfollow blogs (including mutuals) under certain conditions, namely:

📃 Miscellaneous A few other personal policies of note:

I'm a big advocate for reblogging your own posts! I frequently do it myself. Self-reblogs are usually about 6-8 hours apart, but if you find they're clogging your dash, you can blacklist the "srb" tag.

I queue a lot of my original posts and reblogs, and my queue can be as long as a month out.

I typically only use likes to acknowledge personal posts, and I wipe them completely a couple of times a year.

❓ What tools do you use for your Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots? For poses and expressions for both V and NPCs, I use these mods:

For spawning decor, SFX, and lights, I use:

And for enhanced photomode tools, I use:

ReShade The two shaders I mostly use are Cinematic DOF (which creates a nicer blur than the vanilla DOF) and RealLongExposure (which reduces hair pixelization).

Otis Injectible Camera I predominantly use this for hot-sampling and hiding the game menus for making GIFs, but it is also a more powerful flycam and includes another lighting tool (CyberLit). This is a paid mod.

All color-editing, levels-adjusting, clip-fixing, etc. is done in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

❓ What other Cyberpunk 2077 mods do you recommend? I have a list that I update every few months that links all the publicly available mods I use in my game and a general mod tag for any mods that look interesting/useful. I’ve also dabbled in making mods (mostly pose packs that are kind of obsolete at this point and alternate clothes for Goro) that are available for free at my Ko-fi shop.

❓ Is your V's preset or NPV publicly available? Nope! I rarely share Valerie, and when I do, it's only with close friends who I know will take good care of her.

❓ Do you take commissions? I currently don’t take commissions of any kind, although I am sometimes open to art trades with mutuals (art for art, VP for VP, or VP for art). I can’t guarantee my schedule will always permit it, but if you’re interested, feel free to DM me!

❓ Would you be interested in taking shots for my mod? There's a good chance I would be, yes!
