IT'S HARDLY THE FIRST TIME, the way eyes that aren't her own fall upon the scroll as the brush strokes along its surface. another was similar in the endeavors of art, observing quietly, taking in whatever it is they wish to of how the ink flows. and much like then, the only hours where dawn and dusk once intermingled until its final passing, she minds little of this one's presence after their initial conversation. how strange it is, she thinks, to find so many in her stay here where their company was not so wholly unwanted.

Sara could see if this was done to get them started, and then after a set amount of time had passed they would be required to take over the burdens of housing and food. Ryuki is really bad at it! But for real, he's struggled a lot with his feelings about himself and doesn't think much about his own safety or wellbeing, so it's very much thanks to Tama that he really looks after himself at all. And she's perpetually exhausted by his lack of self-care, but she'll work her ass off to look after him anyways, because she wants to help her psyncer.

yuri's practically unflappable!!! it's one of his defining traits, after all! even when jumped by a raving, bloodthirsty assassin at the start of the game, he took his sweet, sweet time before he bothered acknowledging the other's presence -- with his trademark sass, of course.

he only gets truly surprised by, well, surprise attacks, so he'd obviously be flinching back in those cases. maybe even let out a little "whoa!" or two. not much more than that.

(-.-): How should one wake them up? Do they get out of bed easily?

he's always been a pretty light sleeper, so it doesn't take much to wake him up (and it's only gotten worse since, often barely sleeping at all </3). actually getting him out of bed is usually the more difficult task when there's nothing important going on, especially if he's feeling down or conflicted over something. he won't make much of a fuss, though... unless it's one of those rare times he does fall into a deep sleep, then it's full-on grump mode if you pull him out of it.

ironically, he slept in the most during his time as a knight (to avoid responsibilities, of course...), and he'd been the victim of several dog bites whenever he was being particularly annoying about leaving his covers!

   this mist, she has learned quickly, can be as unforgiving as the sharpest blade against unprotected skin. skeletons had been most of what she’s dealt with and though they unnerved her, she never showed it outwardly. she was a daughter of the Animusphere’s: she had to be perfect and unflinching in the face of danger. she had to prove that she was worthy no matter what it took. skeletons were easy to remain strong in the face of. this, however, sickens her to her core and Olga cannot halt the horror that morphs once steadfast features.

    it’s impossible to tell just what ‘it’ was supposed to be. amid the mess of splattered and smeared blood, she could vageuly make out chunks of...flesh? (it looked as if it were flesh, human flesh, and the nausea festers without mercy.) littered between broken bones and torn remains of organs, all sitting in a pool of blood. it was if someone had been torn to shreds from the inside out and despite how horrifying of a sight that was alone, it was what rested on a piece of bloodied fabric half-sunken in the crimson liquid.

he only meant to rest his eyes for a moment, the shifting of fabric causes him to stir, eyes slowly opening to be greeted by the sight of Aichi with a blanket. is this another visit to see Rain again? never mind that... did he somehow manage to fall asleep? those that know of him would say the yaksha never sleeps, he has no need for it. as time passes, the exhaustion grows, and if not for Lumine and Venti, it would surely be much worse.

there isn't a need for him to say anything, even when Aichi smiles and pulls the blanket up further. Xiao understands the message clearly. to recharge as he sees fit. maybe he will take just a small nap, for a little while. before he knows it, he drifts off again, more comfortably than before.

Aichi wakes up in a cold sweat amidst the sound of studio applause. He sits up in bed, heaving deep breaths while touching his head.

Good. His ahoge is still there. It was all a bad dream. A ridiculous one too, in hindsight. Smiling wryly to himself, the blue-haired boy slipped back beneath the covers and tiredly shut his eyes.

And that’s when the figure hiding in the corner slowly rose to her feet.

Archimedes Ward is not so bad on enjoying things out during the Winterfes as she was not too far at the Crystal Funhouse. She remembers his deeds a long ago but who knows, does he had friends with him or alone by himself? Narberal came by her own probably company with those she knew is better and he’s one of them.

Saved his brother. Ryuki feels an immense amount of guilt surrounding his brother’s accident- enough that he changed his entire life to revolve around living out the dream his brother couldn’t. He’s living entirely for his brother’s dream, everything he’s done has been in an attempt to make him proud. So if he was given the chance to go back and save him, or take his place, I don’t think he’d hesitate for a moment.
