ya see the thing that i think is often missed about the nibelheim reactor scene in crisis core is that genesis didnt just call sephiroth a monster, he called himself a monster too. he makes a clear distinction between 'monsters' [him and sephiroth] and 'non-monsters' [angeal.] he's saying that they are the same, so they should help each other. unfortunately his degradation has impacted so much that he can only have sephiroth on his level by tearing sephiroth down. it's entirely possible that if he were thinking more clearly he wouldnt have been so aggressive. he was genuinely reaching out and offering an olive branch to sephiroth. unfortunately it came far too late, and in the worst way possible. all it accomplished was permanently divulging their lives and being one of the final pushes for sephiroth to become a villain. in this essay i will-

FFVII AU where Sephiroth is Genesis and Angeal's marriage counselor.

Genesis is a wildly famous actor and singer who has some issues keeping faithful. Angeal is a very busy Police Chief who has a hard time coming home on time due to his workload.

The two clearly love each other, but are having marital issues and are looking to counseling to correct the others' behavior.

Enter Sephiroth, incredibly successful counselor due to his emotional detachment from the entire human race. Genesis wants to sleep with him, Seph catches feelings for Angeal.

You know I don't super like how they've interpreted Sephiroth's hair as his bangs always being in his face. Maybe after his breakdown but even then I think he ought to be more composed than that. Also kind of annoying to look at if you look too long.
