Sam Reid: I ate so many of those photos. They were made of rice paper, so they stuck to the roof of my mouth. There were a few where I just shoved the whole photo into my mouth, but that didn’t work, so I had to eat it. It was like eating a sweet cake. They were stuck to the roof of my mouth and I couldn’t keep talking.
They’re saying mean things about Louis’ photos, so he’s going, “Fuck you! You took a beautiful photograph. Don’t listen to that guy. I’ll eat it.”
The memory of the person that he chose to be with, aside from the vampire bond and the sensuality of their relationship there was always something else there. They could make each other laugh. It's a real relationship that has layers to it. Sam and I have talked about how nice it would've been to have had a little mini-series where you just see Lestat and Louis just hanging out in New Orleans. Not even necessarily hunting, just like walking, sitting on a bench, chatting, really like the norm. - Jacob Anderson
The fight between Louis and Armand was one of the best scenes of this entire show. The way they both knew where to hit each other exactly where it hurt. But Armand really clocked Louis with the “my daughter was my sister was my throw pillow when he wouldn’t look at me kindly.” The guilt of what happened with Claudia will forever haunt Louis, the look of utter despair on his face after was insane. Also the way Armand yelled “THE NAME”, I was floored. Their entire dynamic is sickening. They acted their asses off, Assad Zaman is slowly becoming one of my favourite actors of the current generation.
