Thoughts after watching the movie

1. Nothing really happened, I just realized that we basically know the entire movie from the trailers and information we have from 4kota.

2. The Demon-Fairy and Demon-Giant creatures are absolutely disgustingly hideous. I LIVE!!! 😂😂

3. Tristan falling of his bed had me in laughing my ass off.

4. That little fairy having a crush on Tristan is adorable and funny.

5. The dynamic between Tristan and Lancelot is everything.

6. Another Lancelot reveal!!! I love my boy so I'm not complaining.

7. Lancelot's voice is *chef's kiss*

8. Uncle Gowther casually strolling around Liones and just vibing there. Reasons why I love him

9. NAKABA JUST GIVE US INFORMATION ABOUT KIANE'S CHILDREN!!! PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU!!!

i like to think that the demon powers arent that much more powerful than the goddess powers- but hes been holding them in for so long that its all rushing out. because if he hasnt been training with his demon powers it would be hard to actually use them well in a fight.

ok i know Lance getting tristan back to normal was supposed to be serious but the actual moment his eyes changed and he fell over i laughed im sorry it was funny

Ok so, Grudge of Edinburgh...

So I did indeed watch this like right away when it came out. I didn't speak on it immediately cuz it's just part 1 and I was gonna wait till we had the whole story, but there are some things I'd like to talk about because...continuity errors?

Spoilers ahead!

Ok, first of all, just to get this out of the way because it's not a continuity thing; Lancelot sounds exactly like I thought he would XD

Ok, the first continuity things is the Sacred Tree in the Fairy King's Forest.

The one on the left is from the anime and the one on the right is from Grudge of Edinburgh. And they are supposed to bet he same tree, so why the color change?

It's not age, cuz the tree from the original Fairy King's Forest before it was burned down was thousands of years old and was also pink.

The second thing is...children? Like are these two supposed to be children?

Lancelot does refer to the trio of these two and the Giant child as "kids", but there's a couple problems with that.

🌿 First of all, it's been established canon that Fairies don't get their wings till they mature and both these Fairies have wings.

🌿 Second, it's also been established that Fairies don't...really have babies? Like it's stated outright that Elaine is the first Fairy in history to get pregnant.

And sure, first doesn't mean last. Maybe these two are around Lance's age? But Lancelot is 14 in this movie and there's no reason for 14 year old, or younger, Fairies to have their wings yet.

so like...what's up with that?

watching Grudge of Edinburgh part 2

Here are all the thoughts i had during it! :D

WARNING: SPOILERS. (duh)

oh theyre calling elaine a fairy queen? thats cool

ok i'm not generally a fan of the animation they chose for this but it does look very clean. Unfortunately becase its in 3d, the english VAs dont match up with the mouths as well (as opposed to in 2d where all they really have to do is talk when the mouths open and close, most of the time) so im watching it in japanese

this has nothing to do with the movie but for writing purposes i'm keeping in mind Violet would be 10 in this movie

i want to drink that pretty purple liquid

his horse's name is ESCANOR??? excuse me while i cry

goodness gracious i LOVE how the 3d animation allows for such cool and detailed monsters and armor. i always expect the priest to have a tentacle face but the bony limbs are so cool

lancelot beating up DP is giving... flash beating up guards in the incredibles. I'm here for it

im just realizing that that ice bridge is giving.. Jericho.

this is really helping me with Belfire honestly-- im glad Lance has a tangible personality

Hendrickson couldnt have been 15 years ago-- theyre not saying that the entirety of the 4 seasons is only one year??? bs im not listening to that-- i can believe that it was 2 years worth of the sin's adventures but one year is not a lot of time for that much stuff to happen and it really diminishes the severity of everything the world went through in that time because of how quickly it was resolved. plus, at the end of the series, it said that there was like.. a year between the adventures and tristan being born. so it should be at least 16-18 years ago.

im figuring out that nnt is actually really good with tone management (in my opinion)

somehow Lance's voice sounds a little too old for someone who has a third grade haircut their mom gave them because they dont know how to brush their hair. The japanese voice sounds pretty much good but the english voice just sounds like a less growly ban.
