I'm so close to done THANK THE GODS 🙌🙌 This is an Eva foam build of Blair's hat, from soul eater; I used an amazing pattern from Tiffany Gordon! This is my first time working with Eva foam and I honestly thought it would be a disaster, but now I can't wait to work with more foam!! I'm almost done with the fit as well, but I have so many dumb tedious things I have to do in order to finish🥲

Petticoat is complete! She is a beautiful a-line, ankle length petticoat with no elastic on my waist. It took forever, but I love her. Now... how to store her when I barely have enough room for my other petticoats. 😅

Progress photos, as promised. We've got a Unidoll Feanor for Hogan and a Dollzone Merlin on a Volks SD 13 body for Klink. Got more done on the hats. Hogan's hat was easy, just put a stray button on and slap some gold paint on. Klink's was a little tricky and isn't done yet. I still need to fix the color mismatch and add the eagle motif, as well as some details on the wing motif and central button. I also need to start on the uniform trim and decide how I'm going to make his medals. I could do clay, sculpt-able plastic, or fabric and puff paint. I also need to completely redo Hogan's jacket, the one he has is just a placeholder. I'm not sure exactly how I want to do it, though. I could buy one, but it will be made of pleather and won't last. However, I'm not sure if I want to make one right now, and if so, should I go with leather or satin? Satin would be easier, but leather would be more accurate.

This whole project started because I found a Unidoll Feanor for sale and couldn't resist, but I already have Feanor's character shelled in a different doll. I decided to try out his human ears, and Hogan decided to take up residence and demanded to know where Klink was, lol. But really, the character just fit the sculpt's fantastic smirk, and he seemed incomplete without Klink. The character I was trying for the Dollzone Merlin just wasn't going anywhere and really, doesn't that pout just FIT??
