I made a sculpture figure of Spark Iskra from my manga 'Of Spark and Cats'.

She took 23 hours to make (6 sculpting + 17 painting) split over 2 days. She's made with Sculpey Ultralight clay and therefore really durable (but super hard to sculpt because it didn't want to hold its shape -- I baked it partially as I went to avoid losing progress). The face looks more retro than I initially planned, but I'm so glad she turned out as she did! My favorite details besides are the ruffles around the skirt and the shape and shading of the shoe, as well as the stars on the skirt side panels.

I painted a glass pane to have a stained glass look. While the dragon is opaque, the rest has a translucent and rippled effect.

I finished working on my taxidermy jackalope.

She has real roe deer antlers and a wooden base. The pattern on the wooden base is that of my nan's old wallpaper, which I digitized from an old photo and recreated to line up in a repeating manner, as the original would have. Since rabbits used to live on the property, I figured it would suit this rabbit rather well.

I've been meaning to work on her since October, but now she is happily mounted and watching over my living room. I've named her Irina.

I did some handsewing again. This time, I made a brocade pencil case for all my favorite pens and highlighters.

Small project. Embroidered a patch to cover the missing logo plate on this old phone.

I made a handsewn nui chibi plush of Spark Iskra!!

Entirely handmade, with hand embroidered eyes.

Not making a serious post yet because she still needs her hair and hair accessories, but this is a WIP of the Spark Iskra plush I've been making for the past couple days. I haven't made a plushie since 2016 so I'm surprised it's turning out so well!

White wolf taxidermy purse.

The head is mounted but hollow, with a closure of fabric on the back of the head. I didn't know what I was going to do with this wolf head pelt for a while, but this is perfect because I will get to take this wolf with me when I go out. The strap is borrowed from another purse of mine -- I will make or acquire a more suitable one eventually.

I finally got another woodburning tool, something I have wanted for the last two years now. I shouldn’t have waited so long, but now that I have it, I woodburned a wooden spoon with aconite flowers, and then tea-stained it.
