I really wanna fix some of my clothes that have a seam that opened. But my eyes are very very tired and hand sewing is not a thing I can do with my eyes closed.

was told my singer 44s sounded like it needed to be oiled, so I spent the evening lubing it and watching youtube videos trying to find hidden lubrication points and lubing those as well. After disassembling/reassembling it 5 times in 3 hours, it sounds exactly the same.

It's the next day, I'm so tired and i've not enough sleep.

I had to take a break from sewing because. I cut the thread Way Too Long and it keeps tangling and is a hassle

Knitting is so much more relaxing than sewing. You mess up? You curse, unravel a few rows of stitches and go back to work.

You messed up so badly you knitted a sweater only fit for a three armed giant? You drink half a bottle of scotch, put on suitably dramatic music and unravel the whole thing.

I wish there was an undo button for cutting disasters.

yes hes doing great!! hes almost totally back to normal now besides being kinda bald on his legs still. he does get a little irritated when you touch near his bad hip when its too cold or rainy out, but thats totally understandable tbh, my old surgery areas ache then too so i get it.

when its not bad weather though, he loooves to run around and jump and climb :) hes even started playing fetch with us again! hes very happy to be able to play with us and his sister again i think c':

Watched 13 going on 30 and was like okay im gonna get my life together and we'll start by cleaning and ive hit the point where im hungry and im either making food and possibly staying awake possibly falling right asleep or not making food and just going to bed but i have the emotional momentum and i dont wanna lose it
