Marta Estrella, a shy, sorta new kid, recognizes Gob Bluth on the first day of school from an interaction she had with him over the summer. Desperate for friends, she asks to sit with him and his friends, and he says yes. A week goes by and though she tried to brush it off, Marta can't ignore what she'd been thinking since the very first lunch she spent with these "friends" any longer.

4 emotions of granthem du’met.
1. the classic. a typical bitch resting face. no fucks given. i mean, he doesn’t emote to the point, where it can be considered an emotion of it’s own. anti-emotion.
2. alert/surprise.
3. the unhinged state/dazed.
4. whatever the hell it is, when he stares at charlie. i literally call this emotion just...charlie.
in conclusion: until meeting charlie, du’met had 3 emotions. now, he has 4. this is one true character development.

did you watch OG tonight? cause idk how they manage to keep making sam waterston's character worse and worse. like "i know this video might be fake but we should use it anyways because we are all about the truth and im sure this guy is guilty" like what?? also makes me mad bc i love the newsroom so much and i want to love sam waterston but i cant
I watched the last ten minutes and did catch that bit. It kinda works with Jack's existing characterization from 30 years ago iirc, he's a womanizer who likes his booze and will do whatever it takes to win. "I'm sure this guy is guilty so I'm gonna use iffy evidence" is an old school Jack move; as long as he's sure the guys guilty he'll cross every line to prosecute him. He's a rule breaker, he's reckless. I like when characters aren't black and white but the thing about Jack is he needs someone to balance him, and the earnest squawking from the utterly unconvincing adas doesn't really temper him. We end up with Jack as the authority figure who is giving the orders and whose whims must be heeded, instead of Jack the loose cannon who is reined in by cooler heads. It's. Not great.

still cackling/crying about having invented an incredibly Autistic-Coded Alien (classic archetype) species in my sci fi LARP but nobody clocks this immediately because two of its most visible traits are
1. friendly and sociable
2. good at, and desirous of, ‘fitting in’/‘belonging’ socioculturally/as part of groups
edit:
3. it is not mechanically or culturally particularly geared towards playing a ‘Nerd archetype’ such as a Scientist; rather its mechanics easily make for a good (somewhat unusual) combat build.

I mentioned the Lucille Bluth banana quote and my daughter informed me that was from an "old movie". When I pulled up the Wikipedia page on Arrested Development she informed me it aired 21 years ago and it was old enough to drink so it was most definitely OLD.
I sent her to her room to think about what she's done.

thinking about spending a long weekend in NYC with the besties this time last yearish, and how tired I am of being in the middle of nowhere. Need the in-person cloud of queerness to abide in already. Extremely tired of watering myself down for others' comfort, even in VT small towns are small towns. It's just not mentally healthy long-term and Im too old for it.

Wrestling With Sin: 457
Wrestling With Sin: 457 featuring Curt Hennig, The New Age Outlaws, JBL and much more...
Brian Damage
This is the 457th installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching…
