However, whether or not you know me, I would like to let you know that your tone is particularly accusatory. I am operating on doing what I can, and I am strapped for internet access to verify and double-check before I boost something.

I did not know and would not have known about the Paypal account deal, so does a lot of people who would otherwise not know and just want to help. There are people who will try to take advantage of the situation for their means by grifting. But which well-meaning person - out of their good faith - wants to enable a grifter?

I know about Shaun King and the likes, at least, so you don’t have to tell me.

There are cases where it’s hard to get verified with the amount of funding Palestinians need, and there’s a LOT of them out there. They may have friends outside of the country trying to help, and some trying to grift as well. That’s just one point I wanted to give a rebuttal for.

But for your mission, I suggest being kinder so that people will listen better. I recommend changing your wording somewhat if you’re sending these asks to everybody who has reblogged the post too.
