SHE HULK EP 8 WAS PHENOMENAL

I mean don't get me wrong I LOVED THE SERIES and I also liked the idea that each episode gets better and better. But what I want to discuss today was not Jen getting that Matt Murdock D AS SHE SHOULD. Or the way Daredevil literally made me swoon whenever he and jen would banter. so far matt feels like matt but daredevil definitely got the Marvel Comedy Treatment they lightened him for this show so it both does and doesn’t feel like him the cgi is such a poor choice imo it feels like watching video game cutscenes from 2013 every time he fights in this. i hope they don’t do this in his own show and im really not a fan of them just immediately having jen know who he is and tbh not a fan of the “romance” either mostly cuz i’m still hoping elektra comes back around in his show tbh like she literally only knows his identity so she could sleep with him. aLSO that ending was SUPER fucked up tho and she was so justified in her actions

Okay that final episode of she hulk was a nerds dream

I can´t believe they made Abomination into Dr. Samson.

I mean, I love it. And I think Tim Roth would look amazing with green hair.

It´s just one change that I don´t think they could actually do in the comics, to make Abomination a great ally who is not a big lizard monster who solves everything with violence. But it WORKS on the series, it is a great evolution for Emil, and a great redemption arc for a character.

Which is why I guess the haters dislike it.Because it shows how a character who was originally driven by hate and a lot of xenophobia, by toxic masculinity in general, can change, and become a better person.

Also, I hate Josh and hope he gets smashed soon, if not by Jen, at least by her new group of friends.

(I love that Porcupine is not traditionally handsome, given that he is Jessica Drew´s boyfriend in the comics)

Even so, I do hope that Dr. Samson makes an appearance soon, I mean, really, we need more jewish superheroes in the MCU, and the Moon System needs a good therapist (Not Sure Emil has the credentials to actually help them)

So my week has been rather craptastic for the most part. The best part of my week was legit being so restless I watched She-Hulk this week at 3 in the morning after watching Chucky and the 23897 things that recorded Wednesday.

I legit was smiling so hard despite feeling like hell cause I felt tired but could not sleep. Like melatonin tired (cause I took half a dose) and still couldn’t sleep. And of course not to wake my whole house up I decided to kick my bed like a teenager and let out a soundless EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I literally texted that to my friend who watches it too at 3:30 lol. She was confused, I told her look at the time I sent it.

But seriously like that episode was so perfect and I everything I wanted it to be. Cause Jen is amazing okay? And people who don’t realize that and all the haters can suck it. I hope eventually She Hulk and Daredevil are in the avengers okay. I hope she has a reason to go to New York and be on that show so they can hook up again okay? And like in that bar scene when she’s talking to the crowd....oh lord. You bet your ass I was silently mouthing to the screen, YES JEN, WE ALL FEEL IT. GET YOU SOME MATT MURDOCK GIRL YOU DESERVE IT AFTER ALL THE FUCKBOYS THIS SEASON! LET US ALL LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOU FOR THE NIGHT!

But seriously, kinda sorta, I was really impressed at this bigger entrance into the MCU for him. The only difference between the Netflix show (other than the costume) is that we got to see him mostly happy the whole episode. And honestly after EVERYTHING Matt has been through, can we not just enjoy he was fucking happy for thirty something minutes?! Like come on. Plus the brooding line made me ridiculously happy case my hater tater friend is all, “He’s angsty. I don’t like Daredevil.” HE 👏  IS  👏  BROODY 👏  HEFFER 👏 AND IT’S FINE, MORE FOR ME AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO LOVES HIM. I’ll die on my hill. It’s fine.

The ending though, well the satisfied ending and then the real ending. That walk of shame made me SO happy. Y’all have NO clue. There are so many times that women are shown doing that walk and I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw a guy doing it. If ever? I’m trying to wrack my brain but it does not want to play cause I’m going on three hours of sleep (sorry for the typos I know will be in this until I proofread it next week and am mildly mortified I posted this). BUT THEN with the slut shaming at the end, like.....I hope that is addressed next week. I hope they say something like this is nothing that a man EVER has to deal with.
