I just started reading the svsss volumes (and re-read them again because A LOT IS GOING ON) but like. This shit is so hysterically funny I don't even know where to begin.

Was no one????? Going to tell me that one of the cornerstone jokes in the damn series is that lbh's adoration for his one and only 'tism person who literally cannot express his emotions to save his life is basically genetic?????????

Was no one???? No one AT ALL going to tell me that Mobei-Jun straight up yeets Airplane at the problem in one of the scenes?????? And that in the most hilarious twist of fate Airplane then unyeets Mobei-Jun not twenty minutes later?????

It's one thing to see people joke about sqq and lbh being unable to communicate but it's on a league of its own when you have to read HUNDREDS OF PAGES of sqq's inner monologue be like 'that's my darling boy. my baby. my sugar plum pumpy umpkin you're my sweetie pie' but on the outside he says "get lost binghe" and somehow deems that an effective expression of his affection that lbh will surely understand. 'Why is lbh whining and crying and tugging at my sleeve like a plaintive wife, why is he so angry?' Sqq asks, the entire circus, as lbh is about to fling himself off a cliff for attention--

In short, MXTX is the queer comedian of our generation and nobody appreciates her enough

if SQQ got himself post cannon genderswapped by a magic flower or some bullshit and found sex with Binghe was somehow amazing and way better than it was before he'd chalk it up to stallion novel bullshit and be like 'ah yes, even if the genre changed Luo Binghe is at his core meant to be unrivaled with women in bed' and then he'd nod methodically to himself as he started making diagrams and excell sheets about the benefits of womanhood. Like he'd be trying to min max this shit and pondering if she wants to go back to mediocre sex as a dude and being gay or not. He's considering all the ramifications of delaying curing this easily fixable problem and strategizing while meanwhile Luo Binghe is setting down breakfast and replying, "Of course Shizun is the prettiest woman in the world. How can anyone ever compare with how perfect my wife is?"

And Shen Yuan nods their head as he pets her amazing husband Binghe's head, "If anyone is perfect its you."

the system's lbh mood ring points (satisfaction, heartbreak, etc) would be considered an invasion of privacy more than the whole transmigration thing already is or at least a source of valuable insight but instead

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

best part about writing is i can just write the most self-indulgent shit ever and then i read it back later and i'm like hell yeah this is exactly what i'm looking for! i'm not kidding i frequently go back through all my documents rereading all the concepting i wrote like it's a little bedtime story. no one can scratch my brainworms better than me fr! ☝️😀

22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?

mm i'm fairly okay about the organization of my writing stuff. after i got my first laptop, all of my writing has been on computers and kept in my google drive. i'm actually considering making another account to transfer all my stuff over so my personal google acc has more space kasjdfkjsdj

i love making so many folders and color coding in there though. i'm planning on retitling all my fic document stuff in a certain way to make it easier to find them, but i don't know what way works for me yet. there a quite a few documents that are out of place because it's either there's not enough of the same-fandom documents to make a folder or i just don't know how i wanna organize it yet. reorganizing is a process i have not had a time for recently hehe

if you're talking about actual writing, i have a couple fics where i make a separate document for the outline i wrote and switch between the outline and the draft, e.g. my docs "[revalink] crystal snow draft" vs "[revalink] crystal snow outline". usually i do this because the way i wrote it in the outline conveys the exact emotion or image i want and use that as a reference while i write the draft. also it's just fun to see my own brain on display! otherwise i keep one huge document for each ship where i braindump my ideas onto, e.g. my doc "_revalink concept reservoir" and then just add headers/outline in the document. the revalink concept document is currently 80 pages long LMFAOKDJFDJK but it's a bit messy at the moment bc i've been copy pasting a lot of stuff in there

27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

hmm of the fics i've properly finished and uploaded, i don't think i've ever actually been stressed writing a character KDFHKDJFD i've mostly written soft cute self-indulgent stuff so it's not too difficult to write them being soft.

i guess what i'll say instead is i actually had a difficult time in general writing the 'like crazy' fic. most of the premise and style of the fic was something i had a hard time conveying, particularly writing link's character in that first half. i try to get in the heads of my characters when i write and figure out what they would do and why they would do it based on what i know about their character. and it was just. really hard to write link in the self-indulgence of what the vibes/lyrical meaning of the song 'like crazy' was while also keeping him within the boundaries of the character i perceive him as.

38. What is something about your writing process YOU think is Really Weird? If you are comfortable, please share. If you’re not comfortable, what do you think cats say about us?

i wish i could tell you something outright insane or outlandish but i can't 😔 my writing process just consists of me laying in bed with my laptop and youtube on my switch hooked to the tv playing videos while i stare at a google doc for a couple minutes until the words come to me, rinse and repeat for as many days as needed until the fic is edited and finalized.

maybe the weirdest thing i've done while writing was either laying down on my side in bed like. semi-fetal position but arranging myself in a way where i could still type on my laptop, or when i got up to lay down and cuddle on the floor of my room with my dog for a little bit to take a break from writing. sorry for the boring answer 🙏

I like to think that in Ghost Splinter 2, Tang Shen and Splinter's mother are watching their family from the afterlife.

This means that Splinter and the kids have people who are cheering them on when they succeed, and wishing them well when things go wrong. It also means that should the worst happen (again), there are people ready to comfort them and help them come to terms with what happened.

It also means that Shen and Atsuko have front row seats to Splinter making the absolute worst decisions of his entire existance.

Like when he finds out Shredder is alive they're like:

Shen: He'll have to tell Miwa and the boys.

Atsuko: Yes, they need to know of the danger they are in.

Splinter: Okay, time for me to not tell my kids and hunt Shredder down on my own!

Shen and Atsuko: Yoshi no!

Splinter: Found him!

Shen: And now you'll tell your-

Splinter, turning into his ghost form: I am going fight Saki alone! He can not kill me twice!

Scum Villain but the transmigator is Ning Yingying who doesn't want to become a harem member and so she slowly pushes her Shizun to be more calm and caring towards Luo Binghe and also attempting for Luo Binghe to NOT fall in love with the other harem members, Liu Mingyang, The palace mistress and Sha Hualing most importantly.

This backfires immensely because Luo Binghe now thinks that Ning Yingying is amazed with Liu Mingyang after they had their usual Bai zhan and Qing Jing Peak duels, that is totally the reason as to why she is trying to befriend her with sweets and gifts (and totally not because she wants to make as many allies as possible so when the time comes she can at least have a backup amongst the thousands of other women in the harem).

So he decides to help his Shijie out by getting them closer together!

That certainly will strengthen their bond!—and why is Shijie looking so horrified right now....

BECAUSE BINGHE IS STARTING TO PICK UP HIS GIRLS ALREADY OH NOOOO.

But what can she do? He is the main protagonist, of course all girls will fall in love with him and who could reject such a white lotus binghe?!?!

Ning Yingying thinks hard for a long time and at the end she sees that there is no other choice.

For a long time she has already spied over where Luo Binghe's eyes rest all the time. And she has read all of PIDW until it was written in her skin! She knows how to see between the lines of Melon_Princess' story and knew(before it blew up and started catering to its audience with bs stallion things), that for a moment, there could be something else that Luo Binghe felt that wasn't just admiration for his Shizun.

Welp. Time to turn the protagonist gay.

Somehow????

It can't be that hard he just has to get Shizun to talk about his feelings!....

She rather take the college exams again actually.

Welp, where does she start?

"Ning Yingying. Why are you so distracted lately?" The sound of Shizun's voice is truly soft compared to how he deals with the other students, she truly is one of the most dotted of the bunch. No wonder the original was such a childish naive child to not see the abuse Shizun had put the protagonist through. It was almost impressive to read how Luo Binghe still held high respect towards such a trash character until he was kicked into the abyss.

...But why...

Why can't he be nice to white lotus Binghe?

Why is she the only dotted? Where those rumors in PDIW about him being attracted to the original, true? from the time she spent around him, she felt more like a daughter being dotted on by a father than anything else.

Just where did those rumors come from?

She investigates a little further, getting to hear from Liu Mingyang that her Shizun saw Shen Qingqiu going to the brothers every night, and how Yue Qingyuan did nothing about it despite the fact that it could ruin Cang Qiong's peak reputation.

In that moment, a loud bang appears from the Ling Xi caves, the two of them bolt their focus immediately on the sounds of fighting and explosions.

And then it hits Ning Yingying.

Liu Qingge dies here.

This is the point where Shen Qingqiu's character is unable to be redeemed.

NO WAY WILL SHE LET THE WHITE LOTUS BINGHE FALL FOR A MAN WHO KILLED HIS SHIDI!

Unfortunately he is the only choice so it's time to turn Shizun into the proper elegant husband that Binghe needs!

i've still been feeling bad about things not working out with the sad neighbor lady with the busted leg, even though SHE was the one who 180ed and pushed me away, but then i start thinking about all the shitty little -isms (mostly race) she said, some of which i confronted in the moment & some that i picked my battles over given the circumstances, and then i feel less bad :)
