Told my boss that NO I cannot take over customer phone calls because my anxiety will literally not be able to take it. And I’m being SO brave about it,

Okay so I barely practiced and made it to regionals like once so im NOT the expert here but uh headcanoning that Jess did air rifle when she was a teen. Like idk if it would be as part of a team like with a high school (what I'm familiar with) vs like an individual thing vs like a travel/competitive team (it depends on the sitch in her area growing up) but she definitely went to some national matches (probably including JOs/JO quals like i think she was GOOD). I think she probably would have quit competitively following a bad shot at nationals (relatable) along with anxiety about competition (ALSO relatable) but still kept up with shooting casually for fun and relaxation and to hang out with friends etc.

She definitely would have shot smallbore competitively too but I never did that bc I was lazy so idk to much abt it competitively

So yesterday night I sat down and thought me and my dad had a really productive and efficient conversation about why I think he has autism, and he hadn’t mentioned anything about it all of today. That is, until tonight when I was in the kitchen getting ice cream, and he suddenly steps in like “So you think I have autism?” and just stared at me for a really tense second before saying “Alexa, play Who Let the Dogs Out.” We laughed SO HARD. Thing is, in our conversation last night I explained how one of the symptoms was specialized interests, and how I think that applies to his special interest about African music, and then additionally that autistic people are known to have comfort songs or items related to that interest that they never get tired of and play over and over again like how he is with his many dearly beloved CD’s and comfort movies.

“Who Let the Dogs Out” is one of those songs for him. (Which he is also known to specifically often and randomly play on the Alexa.)

A few seconds later we were dancing goofily and I thought about this and asked if this song would count as African music, and he says, “Actually, it uses more Caribbean elements.” I love him so much

When someone ends a friendship with you and they clearly think you're the toxic one and they were the innocent that never did anything wrong, while you were the bitch that had to constantly over apologize for the smallest thing or else they'd end the friendship and the way they end it is through one text message where they hit you with a 'im done with second chances' whereas you ate so much shit with a grin on your face and the concept of 'chances' in friendships in general never occurred to you and now as you go back over the friendship you realize how onesided everything was and how much work you put in to receive absolutely nothing back and how you got so lost in the toxicity of it all and just how bad a friend they actually were and now you regret saying you'd 'fight for this friendship' because ultimately they were not your friend the same way you were theirs 🙃

im rewatching the walking dead and omg i love season 2 so much i know everyone hates it but im a sucker for themes and the whole what is right to do in this new world and how far youll go for family

i know alot of people dont like it because of lori and i believe she is normal rational women who is under so much fucking stress and is struggling with this world and this role that shes now been put in sorry not sorry and loris line about how the men always blame the women for making a decision or not making a decisions which is literally how those people treat her like its her fault for shane and rick fighting (not that shes faultless) but come on they are grown men and also the fight isnt about lori its about their ideological differences with how to best protect the group and such and such

alot of people dont like this season cause of the low budget and thats hard to argue like they dont really go anywhere and they are just on the farm the whole time but i just find the interpersonal conflicts so delightful and the farm has such lovely cosy vibe which is maybe why people dont like it but it definitely contributes to season 2 being like my comfort season (or just making walking dead comfort show at all i mean its season 1 aswell also it being comforting is so absurd to me cause i watched it to put me out of my comfort zone lol) maybe im just used to watching low budget tv

and thirdly and finally people dont like it cause shane was right and they made him the bad guy and killed him off i mean it certainly would of been so interesting to see what shane does in the later seasons but thats only because we didnt get it and alot of people argue that shanes right because hes doing things similar to rick in later seasons but rick in later seasons isnt right i mean slaughtering all the saviours in cold blood is what causes negan to go all eenie meenie minie mo and it shows that being that super aggressive protect your own kind of surviving that shane totes and rick in later seasons causes them to get revenge ultimately ending in more deaths also this is just a personal character gripe hes just an asshole and i dont like him but hes a good character well written character and i think your meant to not like him but the thing is when ur write a good manipulative character part of the audience might sort of believe him and i think thats where shane goes wrong, but not really cause it is very good i just wish people understood also i feel like people have alot of sympathy for later rick cause youve been with him the whole time and you have these preconceived notions that hes a good guy even when he does these bad things and then you think about shane and your like hes just who rick becomes he was smarter he was ahead of the curve and idk maybe thats a failing but also they didnt know as much about the world they are living in in season 2 and thats why shane comes off so bad compared to rick he jumps straight to the nuclear option.

anyway if there’s any other reasons people dont like season 2 do let me know cause im so interested cause i love it.
