When Xianyun had returned to Liyue and live there as a mortal just like her fellow Adepti and Rex Lapis, it did not take her long to find out why they were doing so.

Doubly so when she had fallen in love with a mortal there.

Honestly, she was mostly there just for the food, but this would be a nice bonus as well!

Eventually whenever she ran into her beloved disciples, Xianyun introduced S/O to them.

First of all, they were completely surprised that S/O had won Xianyun's heart in such a manner, but were extremely happy for her!

And so, came a question that neither of the couple was prepared for.

(S/O) "You'd...be surprised, Xianyun. A lot of parents ask that question. And I'm fairly sure you asked Ganyu and Shenhe the same-"

Carina was in line waiting for her coffee shene she heard a voice calling her name, a voice she remembered, she turned her head seeing Joseph standing there with a smile.

“Hi Knies.” Joseph lopsidedly grinned as he walked over excited, he hasn’t seen Carina since the Last WJC in January 2018, it’s almost been two years since he last saw her and she has only gotten more beautiful.

“Hi.” Carina bluntly replied with a nod, all she could think is that he looks good. Joseph smiled even more having missed her being blunt.

“Let me guess black coffee with two extra espresso.” Joseph teased her with a large smile.

Carina slowly nodded pursing her lips slightly.

Joseph let out a fond breath, he’s glad he ran into her.

Carina heard her name being called and she grabbed her coffee and another was set down next to her was Joseph’s. Carina walked to an empty table and knew Jospeh was following her, she sat down and gestured to the seat in front of her, Joseph smiled and sat down.

“Caramel latte with extra caramel and whip cream.” Carina spoke as she looked at her window watching the snow fall in Toronto.

Joseph blinked looking shocked that she remembered his coffee order, “You remember?”

Carina looked away from the window and to him “Hard to forget.” Carina spoke watching as Joseph cheeks turned a light pink and all she wanted was to make his cheeks turn pink again. Carina also remembered how hard is to try and forgot about Joseph no matter how much she tried she couldn’t forgot the little ball of sunshine.

“Are you liking Buffalo?” Joseph questioned tilting his head in curiosity.

Carina hummed, “I like it to be warmer.” Carina told him making Joseph let out a laugh not surprised at all knowing how much Carina hates the cold.

“Toronto?” Carina questioned back knowing Joseph had finished college in march and joined the AHL team in Toronto.

“It’s nice, i like the weather and the guys are all great.” Joseph smiled softly at his long time crush and someone he would consider a good friend.

“Good.” Carina nodded knowing that if any deserved to be happy it was Joseph.

“You have game today.” Joseph asked her looking at her for confirmation.

“Yeah.” Carina replied drinking her coffee, and feeling it warming up her hands.

“Want a ticket?” Carina asked nonchalantly looking back out the window.

“You want me to go?” Joseph eyes widen in shock before he smiled softly at her.

“Sure.” Carina shrugged looking nonchalant but she was a little nervous.

“Then i would love to go.” Joseph grinned happily watching as Carina looked back at him and he could see the slight hint of a smile gracing her face that she was trying to hide.

“Cool.” Carina nodded acting as it didn’t faze her, “I’ll send you the tickets.” Carina nodded.

Joseph just fondly shook his head with a very fond smile, “You want more?” Joseph asked her gesturing to her empty coffee mug.

Carina looked at Joseph slightly hesitant but nodded and pushed the mug towards him trying not to flinch as his fingers brushed against hers.

“I’ll be back.” Joseph picked up the two mugs heading to the counter, Carina watched him leave and kept her eye on him as he waited at the counter.

Carina fiddled with the ring on her finger as she watched him, confused with her feelings.

Carina pulled her phone out and got the ticket for Joseph pretty quickly and sent the ticket to him.

Joseph walked back with two cups and lids so they could take it to go, he set the cup in front of her and sat back down.

“Thank you.” Carina mumbled as she picked her cup back up.

“Of course.” Joseph smiled softly back, “I’m assuming you need to get going?” Jospeh asked, he knew there was a few hours until the game but figured she needed to get to the hotel and change.

“Yeah.” Carina nodded and stood up, Joseph stood up as well, “I sent you the ticket.” Cairna nodded and turned around walking away.

“I’ll see you later Knies.” Joseph fondly called back watching her walk away, he smiled shaking his head.

Carina headed back to her hotel and up to her room, she put on a pair of black pinstripe trousers, a purple sweater, a black coat and her black doc martens.

Carina walked down to the lobby sitting down next to Linus waiting for the bus.

Carina was waiting for Tage to get called back up so they could play together again and be in the same city.

Carina walked into the bus sitting at the window seat looking at the window as they drove to the Maple Leafs Arena.

Carina headed into the arena and started getting dressed for warm ups, and started warming up with her team before they got all their equipment on for the ice and started warming up on the ice.

The leafs wine 5-3 but Carina played a good game, with a goal and two assists.

She took a shower quickly and dressed and was one of the first out of the locker room seeing Joseph waiting outside the locker room.

“Good game Ina.” Jospeh smiled as she walked up to him, he thought that purple was her color and the sweater was very beautiful on her.

“Ina?” Carina titled her head looking up at him. She’s never heard anyone ever call her that name before.

“Everyone has their own nickname for you and i thought it was time for me to have one, if you are okay with that if you aren’t then i won’t.” Joseph blushed sheepishly smiling as he explained and started rambling worried.

Carina shook her head and lightly put her hand on his arm, “It’s okay.” Carina interrupted him and took her hand on his arm.

Jospeh’s frowned slighty at her not touching him anymore but also knew it was very big step that she willingly touched him off ice.

“It’s cool.” Carina nodded and gave him a very faint smile before shaking her head, “You hungry.”

“I could eat.” Joseph’s cheeks were pink from getting her to smile at him.

Carina nodded and started walking knowing that Jospeh will always follow her.

A/N. I just wanna have a cuddle sesh with Shenhe so bad, just napping on her  😭

Being raised outside of society’s scrutinizing eyes, Shenhe is not conscious of the way her body is viewed. As long as her body does its job of keeping her alive, she is more than satisfied. And she keeps her body in top shape for no one but herself. So she is not at all flustered when you ask if you can lay on her chest. She doesn’t catch the quiet, almost nervous way you make the request, unaware of the implications and unbothered by the question. If anything, she thinks it makes the most sense. Her chest is one of the softest parts of her, aside from her thighs perhaps. And she reasons that as you’re both laying down, it's the most comfortable place you can rest your head while also being the closest to her.

So she easily pulls you in, adjusting you so that you’re leaning your head against her chest. Once situated, Shenhe asks if you’re comfortable, pausing to look at your face. At your flustered expression, she questions if you’re feeling ok, touching your hot forehead with her cool hand. Ever concerned for your well being, she asks if you’re sick, assuming that perhaps you’re coming down with something. Not meeting her eyes out of embarrassment, you mumble out that you like her chest. The explanation doesn’t seem to make anything clearer to Shenhe, who just looks at you with a blank expression.

“Is this something related to the mortal realm?” You nod, not meeting her eyes as you explain the more…suggestive perspective on breasts. It puzzles her that such a mundane body part has such a meaning, but the intricacies of mortal living always surprised her anyways. “Well you seem to be enjoying it. I don’t mind, no matter the implications. It’s a little odd to me, but if you like them…well, it’s a little flattering, because it’s from you.” Shene’s own face reddens at her last statement. She settles back down, her arm out to invite you to get comfortable against her once again. This time, when you cuddle up on her, you are less embarrassed and far more soothed, lulled into a comfortable sleep in her embrace.

At first glance, this appears to be frothy, fun capital-R Romanticism. And I have a lot of time for fun Romanticism. Robin Hood Readalong has a nice ring to it.

Did Elizabeth Woodwell leave anything for her children when she died?

Hi! Yes, fortunately we do have Elizabeth's will in full preserved so we can talk about it. Elizabeth retired from court life around 1487 (she did occasionally appeared at court, most notable she was present when her daughter Elizabeth of York was giving birth to her granddaughter Margaret in 1489) and lived the rest of her life in Bermondsey Abbey. The cause of Elizabeth's death is unknown, she made her will in on the 10th of April 1492 and died on the 8th of June 1492 which can be indicative of the fact that her health was declining for some time. The current abbot, John de Marlow, who had officiated as a Deacon at the funeral of Edward IV witnessed Elizabeth’s will. The will is very simple but in my opinion very touching.

The will begins, ‘I Elsabeth by the grace of god Quene of England late wif to the most victoriouse prince of blessed memorie Edward the fourth’. It shows that Elizabeth still very much considered herself a queen, and wife to the most victorious prince ""the blessed memory" Edward IV - seems that she still had deep feelings for her late husband (Edward was dead for 9 years by then).

Elizabeth requested that she was to be buried alongside Edward at the chapel in Windsor Castle "according to the will of my saide Lorde and myne". She specified that she did not want the funeral performed with any pomp or under any great expense. As she had no worldly goods to bequeath to any of her remaining children ("I have no wordely goodes to do the Quene’s Grace, my derest doughter, a pleaser with, nether to reward any of my children, according to my hart and mynde"), she asked God to bless them, and with ‘as good hart and mynde as is to me posible’, she gave her children her own blessing. She then asked that ‘such smale stufe and goodes that I have’ be given away as seen fit, giving preference to any of her blood who wished to have them. I find it exceptionally touching that she send her blessing specifically to Elizabeth of York with all her children definitely knowing Elizabeth of York was excepting at the moment and was in confinement when her mother died so couldn't attend her funeral ("I besech Almyghty Gode to blisse here Grace, with all her noble issue").

Here is the will in full:

“ IN Dei nomine, Amen. The xth daie of Aprill, the yere of our Lord Gode Mcccclxxxxii.
