A/n: I'm not even gonna try to apologize for vanishing out of the earths surface for about 4 months but because today is my blog's first birthday I'm finally writing this fanfiction idea that I had sence I started this blog, caroce enjoy it my beloveds 😙

Ok so the moment he saw a tiny kitten loafed in the sofa near the fire place, he knew it was you that brought it in

And you convinced him to let the little guy stay until winter was over because it was freezing outside and would have little chance at survival

Diluc after some convincing agreed to let him stay, but he said that 'the moment spring comes and it's warm outside the cat is going out'

Little did he know that during the little time that the cat was staying in your guys mantion he slowly fell in love with it

And it was just the littlest of things, like the time the little kitten hopped into your guys bed and snuggled itself in-between you and Diluc while cuddling

Or the time it was colder in the house so the kitten got on Dilucs lap and proceeded to purr and make biscuits on his lap because he has a pyro vision and his body runs warmer

And when spring came and it was warm, Diluc didn't forget his promise but he didn't have the heart to do anything so he just let the kitten be

And if you would bring it up to him that sadly it's time to let the kitten go, he'd just pull up excuses like 'oh but the weather is still not that stable yet and it can get cold again really quickly' or something like that

And then little did you know now the cat has been staying with you guys for about a year and now Diluc doesn't dare to let go of your guys cat and loves it with all of his heart

And the best part is that the cat now catches all of the mice and rats that hide around the winery

And one of Dilucs favourite things is watching the cat run around the grape yard and catching crystal fly and bringing them to Diluc as presents

Ok so, similar to Diluc, the first time he saw the kitten it was on the sofa curled up and peacefully sleeping

And after that little guy approached him to give Kaveh a little bump on his leg because he wanted scratches, Kaveh fell in love with it

Yes the two of you would have to work harder to be able to afford the kittens litter box, cat food, toys ect but he didn't mind because it was for his son (yes he calls the cat his son)

This mf WILL get jealous of the cat chooses to cuddle with you rather than him and be sarcastically dramatic about it

Once when he was working on a project the kitten managed to get on too of his shoulder and started playing with the feather that Kaveh has on his head, and whenever the cat is on tall pleases and Kaveh is near the cat WILL try and get that feather from his head to play with

It doesn't matter if that cat has be best toys in the world, Kavehs feather is the superior toy for the cat to play with

At first she saw them in her secret place where she'd take time to gain energy back, and didn't think you were the one that brought them here but she let them be because they didn't bother her and honestly their presence calmed her down

After a week she brought you in to her secret place to show you the two cats that made a home there and you had to confess to her that you were the one that brought them there

After some talking, you two agreed that the cats can stay but only on this secret place where no one knows

Of course the two cats had the freedom to go to explore watatsumi island but they mostly stuck to exploring the village and sleeping in Kokomis comfort place

Kokomi quickly began to love those cats and loved seeing them play with each other, she would spawn little water fish for the cats to chase around

OMG imagine if Kokomi would summon her jelly fish for the cats to play with

Also Kokomi def gains energy from hanging out with the cats whenever you are not around but one of her favourite things is you two playing with the cats or cuddling while reading and the cats sleeping on top of you two

To be honest, you didn't know how she'd react to you bringing a pet on the house, but she didn't really mind

But the longer time she and the cat have spent together she became more calm, yes she's calm most of the time but she didn't have as many homicidal thoughts as before

She found out that, that was a great method to calming her down and distracting her from those thoughts and now whenever you are hanging out with eachother she is most definitely bringing the cat along, petting it while she holds it

Whenever she feels those disturbing thoughts plaguing her, she goes to find the cat that you have brought and play with it, pet it or just cuddle with it

Another habit that she had formed is whenever is time to go to bed the cats NEEDS to sleep besides her while purring, it's just the vibrations form the cats purr just sends her to sleep so easily

Overall, even if she doesn't show it to much she is beyond grateful that you brought that cat into her life and doesn't understand how she was able to live without them

General Headcanon

Ei is still the leader of Inazuma, none of the puppets (Scara and The Shogun) exist in this AU (scara does exist but only as the Wanderer or whatever you wanna call him, name suggestions for him is welcomed🫶)

Inazuma is separated from the other regions via dense and extremely tall seaweed

Ei is a very large mermaid, from head to tail she is an estimate of 8-9 feet long/tall

Her tail has finds of the side with slight tears and the flippers (end of tail fins) are rather long with tear as well

Ei tail is a deep shade of purple with light purple accent/fins, her tail shimmer a dark pink color in light

Her upper body has scars and she has a purple cloth piece wrapped around her chest and a necklace is strung around her neck

Ei's hair is relatively in the same style and she also has the same hair piece. The only difference is that she has more of the light purple streak that's in her hair throughout her hair

Ei's personality is pretty much the same with her just being a bit more curious

Romance Headcanons (Human)

The only way that you could even possibly meet is if you decided to be bold enough to swim through seaweed or if you dived in from a dock or a boat.

The way i use for how you both met is as follows : you didn't make it to the surface in time and she had to save you from drowning

With that, Ei was most likely stalking you and was able to quickly notice that humans can't breath underwater

Luckily Inazuma has plenty of caves with air pockets

Ei stayed to help you find your way home and you both now have scheduled visits

Brings you many, many items that either she or another found. Mostly for explanation but also because she loves your voice

Tries to get you to eat raw fish and other raw seafood

Likes when you bring human food for her to try, especially the sweet items.

Also like that you bring her new tops for her to wear

however she doesn't understand why you can't swim with casual/non swimsuit clothes on, also doesn't really get why you get flustered from her trying to help you out of your clothes.

Has a slight obsession with your legs and touches them when she can

Also gets touch with your legs when kissing. She personally thinks they get in the way, but she likes the way you wrap them around her.

Ei is very interested in human anatomy and is more than willing to let you conduct exploration of her anatomy in return that she can learn more about yours.

Loves being bigger than you, likes the slightly power indifference between you both. Also likes how flustered you get when she teases you in just the right way

Romance Headcanons (mermaid)

Your most likely either one of her subjects, servant, or someone in her court

Whatever the case, she'll most likely get to meet you way easier but it'll be harder to catch her interest.

Does however like the size comparison between the you both, you'll most likely still be smaller than her due to the difference in mermaid species(i can't remember all the mermaid species rn will update when i do)

adores when you bring her different things human drop

Ei also loves when you try to theorize what they could've been used for

tries to find matching items for you both, but humans just aren't dropping enough matching couples items

protects you quite well thought she does teach you how to protect yourself because she doesn't want to be out exploring and you get into trouble

allows you to undo her braids and comb it, absolutely hates doing it by her self

loves examining your tail! it's so much different than hers, and shinier!

Also checks your neck gills often and cleans them

Doesn't let you anywhere near the seaweed, it's too dangerous or so she says

is able to give whatever resources she can for you to learn more about the surface, though it might be limited. Information regarding other areas outside of Inazuma is also limited, but at least you can now get more information than every other mermaid in Inazuma!

There is something just... deeply in-character about this for me. I cannot imagine Shenhe wrapping her head around the concept of ornamental fish. Why would they be in the pool if you weren’t supposed to catch them (by climbing in to do it with your bare hands)?

Shenhe is a support character who can increase all allies Cryo Dmg through her Skill, and decrease Cryo and Physcial Res through her burst.

Healers are what allow the team to win, it’s just a fact. And I am obsessed with pink-haired characters. If there’s a pink-haired character in an anime or game, you best believe I am their #1 fan. Warnings: lots of implied nsfw but nothing explicit (under the cut just in case), possessive behavior, Shenhe is homicidal and kills a lot of monsters and then you kiss on a mountain (spoilers), branding with electricity (spoilers pt.2)

Synopsis: this is a brilliant idea where nothing could possibly go wrong. 

Hu Tao:

You thought you could get back at her for all the pranks she’d played on you? What a silly notion. Hu Tao immediately saw right through your pathetic attempt and decided to answer your little gimmick with an overwhelming reaction. It was like you lit a small match and she responded with an explosion of fire. 

Hu Tao pushes you into your room and tells you to get on the bed. You try again to tell her it was a prank, that these hickies aren't real but are only met with a harsh laugh. 

Of course they are. She's known all along. She knew it the moment you stepped into her office at the parlor. She knew it when she wrapped her own hand around your throat, squeezing the sides until your pathetic attempts to stop her were just you sluggishly flailing in her grasp, and she was sure you had dark spots dancing in your vision. And she knew it when she dragged you through the streets, people looking at you in pity as the queen of the dead was about to make you one of her undead subjects. 

Now you're home and she's going to the locked box in the closet, quickly opening it up with her skeleton key and fishing out things that are too well made to be considered "just toys."

When she turns back you feel a ball of lead settle on your stomach. She's really serious. A deadly thing. The regret you feel now is nothing compared to what you’ll feel by the end of this. 

Hu Tao wipes away the fake hickies you made on your neck and quickly moves to replace them with some real ones of her own. The frantic way she sucks and bites. Some of them are barely visibly pink, but most of them are already turning purple. Your voice betrays you as you squeak and moan at the rough attention. Your girlfriend pinches you everytime you make a sound. This is a punishment. You’re not supposed to be enjoying this. But you’re a pain slut so Hu Tao supposes it can’t be helped. 

You both fall onto the bed when the back of your legs hit the end of it. She’s already ripping off your pants and shirt. The sound of tearing fabric has you curling back, trying to hide yourself to no avail. She’ll expose you and every one of your sins. She’s going to mark you up and down so no matter what, even when no one is looking, you’ll constantly feel the controlling grip she has on you. 

You belong to her. 

There’s no escape from that. 

Ei:

She has a perfect memory, so she knows for certain that those bruises didn’t come from her. You haven’t been outside of the city. She’d know if you got hurt by someone inside. Any reports of such an incident would go straight to her and the perpetrator would be dealt with swiftly. 

She doesn’t hesitate to ask you directly where you got those marks. You better be careful how you answer. Give her a name and someone’s home may catch fire from a sudden lighting strike. Avoid the question and she’ll pout until you give her a proper answer, even going so far as to kick you out Euthymia, making you sit with the cold and silent shogun puppet until you’re ready to tell her the truth. 

When the truth does eventually come out Ei will give you a disapproving look and with a scowl tell you that you shouldn’t be playing tricks on your lover. 

You do your best to apologize with puppy eyes and a promise to do whatever she wants for the rest of the day. 

Ei hums, her immediate thought is to make you go buy her some sweets, but then a thought dawns on her. Humans see hickies as marks of possession. If you’re so concerned about people seeing them, including her, so much so that you’d go so far as to pull a prank, then surely you must want her to give you some markings of her own. 

She decides to carve the same electro symbol on the back of her neck onto yours. You aren’t prepared for the intense wave of electricity to burn through your skin. You pass out from the pain and wake up about thirty seconds later with a far more permanent sign of ownership than any hickey. 

Ei promptly then sends you on your way to go out and buy her some sweets and dango milk. 

People see the purple bruises and creeping red lines on your neck and while some look worried, others are clearly envious of such clear branding from the archon. You’re her chosen lover after all. And now everyone can see it, plain and clear. 

You return to the palace and Ei quickly comes out of her mindscape to partake in her apology gifts. 

She’s been feeling thrilled since imbuing her mark upon you. She has you sit in her lap as she feeds you small bites of her requested offerings, you lean into her touch. 

Ei loves you fiercely. This mark of her power is proof of that. 

Now you can never leave her. 

Now you will always belong to her. 

Yae Miko:

If you’re so okay with flaunting another woman’s hickies on your neck, then you’ll love walking around with Miko’s marks on you. 

Your legs are wobbly and you can barely stand. You, very sorely, regret having tried to pull a prank like that on Yae. She’s always said that you should tell her if anyone dares lay a finger on you. She’s always made sure to leave little gifts on places where she knows you can’t hide them. 

Now it looks like you’ve just barely survived an encounter with wolves. Enormous bite marks and bruises litter your neck, shoulders, chest, thighs. They’re everywhere. 

When you woke up this morning, you gasped at the sight of them all in the mirror. 

If you look closely, you can still see the tiny bruises you gave yourself the other day for the prank, but they’re completely dwarfed by the dark purple marks right next to them given to you by the kitsune. 

You never thought she’d let her animalistic bare its teeth at you. That she’d let it almost devour you. 

Now you know to never bait her like that again. 

Too bad you don’t realize that once the animal is out of its cage, it will never go back inside. 

Shenhe:

Someone will die because of you. 

Shenhe’s first instinct tells her that someone hurt you, and she sees red. Anyone who dares lay a finger on you is met with the sight of the sharp end of her spear. It doesn’t help that she’s significantly faster than you, so even sprinting at your fastest, following the trails of the dead monsters isn’t enough. You have to get her to come back, so you do something almost as stupid as playing this prank on her. 

You know she’d never hurt you on purpose, but you can’t help but flinch when Shenhe’s spear barely misses you and plunges into the ground, a Mitachurl impaled on it. You knew she’d come to save you, so you didn’t hesitate to throw yourself into danger and simply scream her name and the word help at the top of your lungs. The small band of monsters is wiped out before you can even process that she’s already back. 

She leans over you, and you’re pierced by her silver eyes. 

“Don’t do that again.”

You wrap your arms around her neck and promise not to, leaning up to kiss her. Shenhe responds quickly, locking herself onto you and pressing her lips against yours. You pour all of your love into this kiss and hope that she can feel it past her red bindings. 

You think she does because when you finally let go to catch your breath, she seems disappointed. 

You kiss her cheek and all over her face, giggling at the sight of the growing pink blush on her cheeks. 

You kiss down her jaw and gasp when Shenhe puts her hand on your chest and pushes you back down onto the grass. 

“No.” 

You’re the one with the marks on your neck. Shenhe should be the one giving your wounds attention. 

Your dilemma of trying to decide whether or not to tell her the truth about them is made for you when Shenhe kisses a purple spot only to taste something sweet. She rubs the spot with her finger and finds the purple smudging before coming off. The rest of the marks do the same when she wipes them a couple of times. You watch as her brows furrow in confusion and she looks at you quizzically. You grin up at her sheepishly and tell her that you were just playing a small trick on her, and wanted to see how she’d react. You can’t help but feel bad as you watch a debate and conflict go through her head and reflect in her eyes, though her overall expression remains as pensive as ever. 

“So, you’re not hurt. You just wanted to see what I’d do if I thought you were?”

You hesitate but decide to be honest, explaining that bruises and marks on people don’t always mean that they’ve been hurt in a bad way. Sometimes it means that the person is loved in a… passionate way. 

“Then let me try.”

You feel your breath taken away when Shenhe says that. You nod quickly and she leans down and bites your neck. Hard. You yelp and dig your fingers in the roots of her hair. 

“Sh-shenhe! Not so harsh!”

You have to take another moment to explain to her how to do it properly, but when she tries a second time you find she’s a quick learner, quickly pulling moans and whimpers out of you. The grip she has on your waist tightens as she sucks and nibbles at every inch of your skin. She wants more. Your voice is so pretty when you say her name like that. What else can she do to make you make these sounds? She’ll do everything she can to find out.

“Your Grace!!!”

You nearly fell off the huge tree in Windrise, the branches extending just in time to catch you safely on a cushion of leaves. Your book wasn’t as lucky, having fallen to the ground with a dull thud.

“Wha...what’s the matter?” You asked, looking down and catching sight of a crowd of your acolytes.

“Your Grace, will you please try our special dishes?” Zhongli asked.

Your gaze flickered to each acolyte briefly. Each of them held a container, plate or bowl, with an eager but somewhat...competitive(?) look on their faces. 

“Your special dishes?” You tilted your head slightly.

You vaguely remembered selecting certain characters to assist in cooking back in your world, either to get some extra food or specially made then decorated dishes. Was that what they meant?

Another series of quick glances confirmed the thought. Among the colourful variety of food, you recognised Fruity Skewers, A Buoyant Breeze, Ghostly March, Summer Festival Fish and several more. Despite not having a special dish, Ei stood among the acolytes as well, holding a plate of Berry Mizu Manjuu.

“Your Grace,” Yae Miko stepped forward confidently. “Please do try my special dish first. It is nearing lunch time, you should eat something - preferably something that fills your stomach nicely, no?”

Before you could reply, Itto stepped forward as well. “Hey! It’s not like you’re the only one who has a noodle-based dish!” Lisa and Gorou nodded in agreement. Shenhe and Chongyun said nothing but silently raised their bowls a little higher, offering you their special dishes.

“Their Grace should be eating something that doesn’t cause sleepiness after consumption,” Eula said, holding her plate of Stormcrest Pie out towards you. Yanfei shouldered her way gently to the front of the crowd next to Eula to offer you her specially prepared food.

“Their Grace...helped Lupical. Their Grace...needs to eat.” Razor held out his plate with a slightly pleading look. You were extremely tempted to accept the Puppy-Paw Hash Browns but unexpectedly, Xiao moved forward. “Your Grace, perhaps you’d like something sweet right now?”

Having heard Xiao’s question, Yun Jin, Kujou Sara, Noelle, Ei and Kamisato Ayaka chimed in quickly.

You sighed, tapping on the branch and telling it to bring you to the ground. You hopped off it and looked at each of them.

“Hmm...all of them look really tasty,” you said. “But obviously, I can only try one dish at a time. Whose should it be?”

You knew how they would respond. Judging from their usual bickering as to who gets to spend more time with you, it wasn’t difficult to guess.

“You Grace, please choose mine!”
