I recently heard Black and White on the radio.... somewhere (not like it matters but for the life of me I can't remember where the heck it was) ANYWAYS just wanted to say I'm still thinking about Niall and Shawn every time I hear it, even over a year later because you literally can't not do it with these adorable dorks

The Shiall Colours: Blue and Yellow 💙💛

Shawn and Niall started favouring the colours blue and yellow (gold) in combination throughout last year, 2020, especially in the beginning of Shawn's new Wonder era.

I first noticed the use of these colours in Shawn's Wonder Trailer video.

The thing that first caught my eye were the two birds. They looked like swallows. A quick google image search confirmed that these were probably barn swallows (I had always imagined swallows were brown in colour for some reason. But anyway, apparently barn swallows are a gorgeous royal blue in colour.)

And the colours blue and yellow kept featuring throughout this video.

So I looked further and checked out Niall's Instagram story selfie boomerangs, and I also found blue and yellow colours.

I also remembered that Niall came out with these colours for his merch. Notice what may even be an upside-down pink triangle in the shirt's design.

Shawn then started having blue and yellow emojis in his own Instagram stories.

And Niall did promo for his online concert, Live at the Royal Albert Hall.

Then Shawn adopted a puppy. A golden retriever - Tarzan.

I've seen speculation that Tarzan is actually Shawn's puppy. And Tarzan seems to feature more heavily in Shawn socials than her's so, this may actually be right.

This colour combination seems to mean something to both of these men. Based on the pair of swallows (swallows are birds that are known to be monogamous) in the music video, I guessed that it could have a romantic significance. Thus bringing me to the conclusion that Blue and Yellow are the Shiall ship colours.

Sarah: Hey Niall, over the weekend… I was watching this thing on Instagram, and it was you and Shawn Mendes. Are you two just a little bit into each other? It was coming across as that you’re kind of obsessed.

Niall: Definitely not. They kept asking us questions that would make us answer it like that. Kind of like with [unintelligible], everyone thinks they’ve got a thing going on. Nah, we’re good mates. Just sat us down and interviewed us.

Sarah: I did hear you say that he plays you demos of his music before he takes it public. Was that true, or was that a lie?

Niall: No, that’s true, yeah. What’s wrong with that?

Sarah: Nothing! I just thought it’s amazing. We’re such big Shawn Mendes fans here. It was nice to see.

Interviewer: And are you brutally honest with him? If there’s a song you don’t like, or you think he could change? Do you tell him, or are you always like ‘mate, dude, this is amazing’?
