I missed out on voting for DfO in candor, so here's my 2 cents if you'll accept it: DfO is Boring. Hisashi could be anyone hero/villain/vigilante/civilian/abusive/neglectful/absent/doating/alive/dead/nomu fodder/entirely made up by Inko, anything at all & people pick 120+yrld sociopath Shigariki Sr.? Who had Kurogiri made to take care of Tomura? Waste the infinite narrative potential of Hisashi for discount Darth Vader angst? OfA and its vestiges' drama is more than enough for Candor (and nearly any MHA fic in my bitter opinion), leave DfO for Crack fics.

Its pretty heavily implied that the timeskip in BNHA when quirks first developed happened during the modern era (since it mentioned human technological developments like going to the moon halted entirely while society adjusted to quirks). So it would be more like 2100s or 2200s after the timeskip. I agree though, the timeskip is probably ~150 years the most from my own timeline I made

AH THANKS FOR THAT LINK! I've been on there before but kinda forgot about it. I think I read one of the MHA spinoff volumes on there (the light novels maybe? Idk)

Do you have any other favorite MHA volumes? Vol 24 My Villain Academia is probably one of the my top ones. I think that was the first volume that I read that I had no idea what was going to happen and it just blew me away, especially with that cliffhanger at the end. I'm very happy that I had the next volume next to me (Tomura Shigariki Origin). I also love Vol 16 Red Riot cuz well, Kirishima.

WE HAVE THE SAME FAV VOLUMES, except 4 red riot (love kiri tho), before vol 30 dropped my fav was vol 24. vol 25 has one of my fav covers ever. just like u i didn't know what to expect and i was like 🤯🤯 the whole time

Okay this is like what, day four of nightmares. I’ve been stressed out because I had two interviews today for jobs across the country. We’re talking going from Florida to Arizona. 

Night 1- Anyways I’ve been having nightmares of being chased through the woods. It’s Feitan from Hunter X Hunter trying to hunt me down so he can kill me. And Feitan is very, very, VERY angry.  First day: Nightmare starts with me running through the woods. It’s foggy and I have on boots and the thinnest shirt ever. I am cold, wet, and scared. Feitan is chasing me and screaming that basically, I am a bitch and he is going to kill me. The only reason I am able to stay ahead of him is because I am wearing seven-league boots. He is screaming about how I betrayed him and is calling out all the different ways he is going to torture me to death. Ah yes and apparently I was dating him at some point.

Night 2: It starts off somewhat normal. Their is a Stargate and I have gone through it with my team (no one I recognize). We go to an alien world which is mostly underground. At the same time though we are in a black market section. People who I think I should know are there. Apparently at some point all hell breaks loose. Different worlds/dimensions collide. Feitan shows up and starts screaming about “Bitch, this your fault.” Or basically something like that. Somehow it comes to light that I have destroyed Earth’s chance to be like a second Heaven or Eden or whatever. Now we’re like one step from Hell. I also somehow am being blamed for destroying other universes, which is apparently what Feitan is soooo angry at me about. I decide to go back in time, yea because that is SO simple. And it is! Because the Crystal Gems from Steven Universe have built a time machine which looks like a Tardis but is actually similar to a Stargate. You walk into phone booth and just go back in time to where you want to go, but apparently it only works for me. So I go back and start killing the people who went through the Stargate after they go through the Stargate. But I found Shigariki Tomura from my hero academia. And he’s helping me because his world didn’t go to hell, it like explodes and evaporates. And we find Feitan, but he’s super nice because he never went through his story ac because his world is one of those Heaven worlds. And somehow we run around until we find out the issue is that the Crystal Gems made the time travel thingie. But before I can go  and stop them this giant purple people who look like they are just giant used purple condoms (Thanos’ rejects reject’s children) pop up. They start destroying my earth/ our earth and they start killing everyone I have ever known.  Abby was trying to put her intestines back in her body, my brother was beheaded. Even my dog was killed.  Like every character from every tv show, comic, books that I’ve ever seen are trying to help me destroy this machine.  I finally get near the machine withthe help of Shigariki and Feitan but only after Shiggy gets stabbed through his chest and is slowly dying. Feitan has his feet cut off. And they get this brilliant idea so Shiggy starts disintegrating Feitan’s arms and Feitan makes the world’s largest painpacker and destroys the machine. Someone says something about don’t fuck up again. I then wake up drenched in sweat and confused as to where I am.

Night 3 - once again chased through the woods in other words see night 1

Night 4 - Stores are no longer a thing and all of them are closing on earth because we have no resources. Feitan is taking me to a comic book store where he is killed by Shigariki who then starts destroying the planet by touching the ground. we start losing air and the ground is breaking up. When I wake up, and I slept at my folks house....I’m confused to where I am and I’m covered in bruises because.......why the fuck not.

going to try to sleep again. It’s 2:03 AM. let’s see if I dream about  one of my favorite villains killing me...again.
