I like the degree of Cheongryeo’s (outright) [From: Debut or Die] psychotic/unhinged tendencies

And I’m not strictly just referring to the full one unhinged things he does. Like, I mean just his way of carrying himself too on a “regular” basis.  He’s the type of guy who’d suddenly start laughing and then just randomly stop in the most off putting way (by that I mean he canonically does that).

The whole scene where he’s giving Moondae a car ride is amusing but also off putting, because in Moondae’s own words, “…He seemed a little psychotic” 😭. Like, the whole time they were in that car, Moondae is keeping check of the view ahead and around the car and making extra sure Cheongryeo doesn’t take his eyes off the road while driving ☠️.  Moondae did not want to be in that car lmao. Understandably so, due to the erratic nature of even Cheongryeo’s small actions:

Cheongryeo smiled and lightly tapped the steering wheel. Moondae: ‘I’d rather be the person driving.’  […] I only moved my eyes to glance at the rearview mirror but I could see Cheongryeo’s eyes staring at me. …Frankly, it was downright creepy.

Or that one point where Moondae blocked his number, and so Cheongryeo called Moondae’s company to get in contact with him again ☠️

It’s all little things, but definitely add to the fact that this man’s sanity is barely handing on lmao

Good morning,

I've been too lazy to post this. I love these two. Minwoo told Jaehyun that their duo is like Batman (Jaehyun) and Alfred (Minwoo).

Minwoo is so wholesome and told Jaehyun's higher up that he will protect Jaehyun. He was threatened and folded but I'm thankful that Jaehyun saved him even if Minwoo gave information to their enemy. He is doing everything he can to atone for his mistakes and is willing to put his life on danger for Jaehyun (wow just wow).

One of my schools was on strike at the beginning of the school year so I had class on Wednesday morning. I only get 5 days of break and 2 of those days are just the weekend 😬. Now that Thanksgiving is over, I don't feel the holiday spirit. I think it's time to decorate for Christmas so that I could be happy for once lol

Mini-review:

I loved Twinkling Watermelon so so much. This drama made my Mondays and Tuesdays for eight weeks. The story might not be groundbreaking, but it's incredibly well-written and fun. I was afraid the plot would be too simple to make it through 16 one-hour episodes, but it never dragged at all. There was always something to look forward to, and many of the twists caught me by surprise. On top of that, the writer gave us two fantastic love stories. Seriously, both of them are among the best I've seen in a K-drama. But the real focus of the show is the friendship between all the main characters, and its portrayal of youth was really heartwarming and nostalgic. And the whole cast was incredible too, they absolutely delivered at every turn. The only flaw I can point out is that the representation wasn't perfect, and they should've hired at least some deaf actors. Besides that, I don't have any complaints. I might go as far as saying this is one of my favorite dramas of all time, and I'm gonna miss it so much.
