Shine Some Light…..

…..we really do need some sunshine here…..the skys have been flat and grey for weeks and weeks and it’s feeling really dingey and miserable…..I need some brightness…..and that goes for work too…..I’ve been working in some of the old Georgian buildings in town and the basements are a bit creepy to say the least…..

…..so much so that I’ve had to invest in some new LED lighting so we can see what we’re doing…..some powerful head torches and some clip ons with additional safety features…..it gets a bit like a disco sometimes (coincidentally one of the cellars did have a dozen disco balls in for some reason 🤷🏼‍♂️)…..

…..the only disadvantage I’ve found with adequate lighting in dark basements is that sometimes you see things you’d probably rather not see…..massive cobwebs in all the corners…..creepy crawly stuff all over place…..mouldy mildew stuff that makes you cough your lungs up…..and sometimes bigger unseen stuff that you just hear scuttling around in the shadows…..I’m sure it isn’t @loveaxiomatic but I’m not going to investigate without a big stick…..

…..you know what’s coming up next…..a bunch of songs about various types of lights and stuff…..

i love shine a light so much, not the depressing ass reprise but the actual SHINE A LIGHT!!! i put it on and my day is instantly better, i get all giddy singing it and i jump for joy andHSVEHANAJAISHDHDHE it brings me so joy💔💔 it deserves so much more attention
