This beautiful 1900 home in Dobbs Ferry, NY is architecturally different. 4bds, 4ba, $1.749M.

In the entrance hall, the stairs and fireplace have a very unusual placement. And, note the bas relief top of the fireplace.

The living room has a very nice fireplace, but it's a little on the plain side. The house is very bland and beige, but it could be spectacular with the right decor.

The hall fireplace is dead on seen thru the dining room doors.

The large dining room has a fireplace style in its own right.

The kitchen is unique and I would call it homey. There's plenty seating in the corner family area.

Very nice roomy .5 bath.

The spacious primary bedroom has a window seat and a separate seating area with a fireplace.

Fully renovated shower room.

This bedroom has a brick fireplace and separate smaller space that's being used as a home office.

Even the smallest room is pretty big.

All the baths have been renovated.

The attic room even has a cute little fire place.

This is the window you can see from the outside at the top of the house. Love it, it's like a turret room and the walls are stick wood. This could be a very cool space.

What a wonderful terrace.

Beautifully finished basement.

The exterior of the home reminds me of a beach house.

There's a big sun porch on the 2nd fl. overlooking the yard.

The garden is beautiful. 5,663 sq ft lot

The Hudson River is visible from the upper floors of the house.

Sweet little abandoned church I made a while ago 💒 dollhouse church. Dollchurch? The stained glass window is made of acetate. I have a bunch of quality street wrappers (you know, the colourful plastic ones) that I think would look cool fashioned into a tiny stained glass window as well. I'll have to try that next time!

This shingled cottage, now let as a bed and breakfast, was built around 1880 as a carriage house in the rear yard of a large Victorian but was converted to a rental unit around the turn of the century.

Lovely 1887 shingle Victorian in Bainbridge, Georgia has 4bd, 4ba, and is listed for $569K. It's been remodeled and all grayed up, but it's a rare home these days, that isn't afraid of color. Let's take a look.

Immediately upon entering thru the front doors, there is an an entrance hall, and to the left, a sitting room. I dare say that part of the wall and the pocket doors were removed to open the entrance and add the columns.

The dining room. It looks like the more walls were removed b/c that hall looks awkward there.

It looks like other walls have been removed to open up the kitchen. I do love that they kept the fireplace and old brick.

Here they made a first floor main bd. and bath.

A narrow walk-in closet was added, but I'm not sure if you could hang rods for clothing in this space.

Coming in from the 2nd fl. porch.

This could be a main bd. with a renewed fireplace.

This bath is also a mix of old and new, and I can't understand why it's painted green.

There's also a back deck.

Brand new modern shower room.

This looks like a staircase leading to the back door.

Here's a delightful little room under the stairs for cats.

The home has a nice choice of places to sit outside.

Here's another nice big porch in the back of the house.
