Humans on one side. Vampires on the other side. My ex friends and family are my enemies now. My little sister is my enemy now. My real family is on my side. My husband and his friends are on my side. People like me are on my side. We were standing and looking at each other.

“Y/n… Why did you betray us??”, Shinoa said.

My sweet younger sister said….

I stepped a few steps in.

“Humans are gross Shinoa. You don’t understand now, but you will understand my choice”. I said.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

“ YOU WERE BORN LIKE THIS. LIKE US!!! DID THIS MOTHERFUCKER MADE YOU TO BECOME THAT MONSTER!!!???” She asked.

“My husband doesn’t have anything with this”, I stayed calm.

“Vampires are not bad Shinoa!! They are not how you see them here”. I said.

She looked at me shocked. She was thinking why am I defending them. Well it’s easy to answer they gave me better life than humans did. As Guren my ex lover tried to attack me Shinoa stopped him.

“Explain it to me than sister”, she said.

Everybody were standing and waiting for me to start talking.

“Heh?? Here and now??” I said with smile, “well okey”.

“You know i was just like you. Human, soldier…. Lover”, i said and looked at Guren he looked away.

“When Guren’s team.. my ex team was fighting Ferid and other vampires. Ferid had me in his hands. My fans weren’t in my hands my only hope was my lover Guren… but he had other plans…” i said.

/flashback/

“One and two….One of you is gonna die… one of you is gonna live…” Ferid said.

“And the simple thing is… It’s his choice”, Ferid finished the sentence.

Guren was looking at me and than at him. I would rather get killed than let Guren get killed for me. Well that was my idea at first.

“Kill her”, Guren said and I was shocked.

You know you always love to hear that someone will sacrifice thereself for you and than you would save them. But when you hear from your lover choosing him over you… it was a little bit disappointing. I looked at him shocked. Guren left in one second and i was left alone with this vampire. I expected my death but than he turned me to face him.

“What a shame. Beautiful young girl will die”. He said.

“Turn me into vampire” i said.

He looked a little bit shocked as i can say.

“What?” He said.

“I want revenge, give me revenge i will give you whatever you want”, i said.

“Well.. if you say whatever I want than… I will turn you into vampire if you become my wife”, he said.

I blushed a little. He was a handsome man I can’t lie.

“We have a deal than” i said.

He turned me into vampire and we went to his soldiers. When they saw my uniform they were all ready to attack me. There soldiers had there sords on my neck.

“De de Mika, Rene and Lacus. You can’t welcome my future wife like this”, Ferid said.

They looked at him a little bit shocked. A wife? Didn’t he want to kill me like a minute ago?? They put there sords away and bowed to me. I looked at Ferid a little bit confused. He smiled at me. I smiled at these 3 soldiers.

“My name is (name), I hope we will get along”.

Lacus smiled at me and so did Mika and Rene. After that day I even met Corwley, Belle and Horn. When we got back to there city I met Krul the queen. She gave me and Ferid a blessing to get marry. They gave me a good life if i can say. I would always hang out with Mika, Lucus and Rene. Sometimes with Belle and Horn. Even Krul likes me and spends time with me. Mika liked me because we were really similar. Rene and Lucus liked me for my personality. Corwley also would spend time with me but only if Ferid is around.

“You see, they are much better than you see them here”, I said.

Shinoa was crying again… Oh no.

“If they make you happy and if your life there is better than I can forgive you for betraying us. You deserve a good life”, she said.

Humans were looking at here now, they waited for the right moment to kill her. I saw a white hair man somewhere far with gun. He had Shinoa as target. I took Shinoa in my hands and moves her from her last spot where now was fire. That man tried to kill her.

“As i told you… humans are gross.” I said and put her down.

She looked at her team who was ready to kill her, all of them… Other teams were ready too. Shinoa looked at Ferid, only with her eyes he understood everything. In just a few seconds my younger sister became a vampire like me.

Genuinely it can be so exhausting being in the OnS fandom lowkey.

Apart from the story going into the complete opposite direction, both art style and story wise. Tbh the current art style is overhated and also it's just a manga?? Is it a downgrade? Yes absolutely but to hate on the mangaka so much is insane.

But speaking of the fandom what the fuck is up with it? The complete mischaracterisation of some characters (mainly Ferid, Shinoa and Guren) is astonishing. Legitimately this fandom did not mature and it's so clear in how people still believe rumors that were made up in 2016. But also much like any other fandom, some people lack media literacy/ interpret things on a lustful level. Like in the manga panel were Ferid is threatening to torture mika and people took out the "strip naked" as sexual. PEOPLE, HOW DO YOU THINK TORTURE GOES? CLOTHED? Clothing provides a layer of protection?? But also even if it was the intent to make mika uncomfortable, it worked cause ferid got the key afterwards?? I think some people forget that ferid does and says absurd things to make people uncomfortable. And if you make people feel uncomfortable it's so much more easier to manipulate them: example Mika. mika knows ferid doesn't mind crossing any form of boundary so he just gives in which profits ferid.

Again no one's saying you have to like ferid but my god think for a moment. But that also proves to me that people in this fandom do not understand complexity in characters (and also relationships).

But that would be my other point: I hate how willingly the fandom makes everything black and white. Just because Shinoa is crushing on Yuu that doesn't mean she is a yandere?? Omg a girl character cares about a guy that she has grown close to. Again their relationship is also complex and falls under the category of "one sided love". But that doesn't mean that the entire relationship is one sided. Yuu still valued Shinoa as a friend. imo that piece of information is important because shit on of shippers will use the argument of saying "Shinoa is ruining Mika and Yuu's relationship/ she came between them" GIRLIE JUST CARED FOR HER FRIEND AND CRUSH 😭. Even in the early manga panels she was trying to befriend Mika for Yuu's sake.

But going back to the "Shinoa ruins Mika and Yuus relationship". She only tried to interfere once she saw Yuu's obsession was getting out of hand. That's why I hate it when she gets called a yandere (known to only care about themselves and their obsession.)

It’s like people missed the whole point of kruls backstory, like where in her backstory did you interpret that she had a whole plan for herself that’s NOT centered around Ashera.

Her backstory was raw, it was real and it was probably the saddest one. I saw a lot of people taken aback and angry at the fact she died, I don’t wanna get hate for saying this but since the beginning it was quite obvious that Krul underestimated her opponents and has a really big ego. She’s also easily tricked and thinks shes the smartest in the room, we been knew she was arrogant. Her arrogance being the death of her was expected and it was written pretty well, kagami didn’t deserve hate for killing her off. She had no ambition other than saving Ashera, with him gone she had no purpose, its like people be reading there own version of the manga. Yes her death was rushed but let’s remember that she has no significance and is barely a main character, i feel like due to her immense popularity in the fandom people forgot that shes not a main character. She had one job to do and messed that up so naturally shes being killed off, the manga emphasizes a lot on desire and greed. Characters like Guren, Mahiru, shinoa and Yuu etc etc are probably the greediest in the game and they will eliminate anyone who gets in there way.

My point is people lost the entire purpose of kruls character in my opinion, I love her and she deserves nothing but the best because at the end of the day she started of as a child and quite literally everyone failed her. I’m sure she even was aware of that so I guess she wanted to save ashera to show that she won’t fail him like he failed her. But at the end of the day everyone failed her, ashera failed and she ended up failing herself and I think that’s what made her death and character so tragic but so beautiful.

If anyone disagrees let me know but that’s what I understood and opinionated for Krul.
