𓂅When Muzan finds out about you, he sends demons to spy on you. He wants yoriichi to pay.

𓂅Muzan would sometimes personally stalk you, and to find you with yoriichi having tea would frighten/anger him.

You being his only living relative, Giyu always wants to keep you safe

You're there when the both of you come across Tanjiro and his younger sister

Giyu felt bad for the boy, he couldn't help but be reminded by the both of you

After the trial for Tanjiro, your brother could see the two of you getting close

Though he didn't mind it, he did feel a bit protective

After all, he's your older brother and he just wants what's best for you

That being said, he thinks Tanjiro is a good kid and knows he would take care of you

It doesn't take long for him to see that the two of you both had feelings for each other

He wouldn't push either of you to confess, but Giyu would make passing comments about it, hoping you would take the hint

Tengen isn't only your older brother, but he's also been your guardian since you left your home

He's still protective, but when it comes to you having feelings for Tanjiro, he surprisingly doesn't mind it

He fully supports you being in a relationship, as long as that person treats you well

Tengen knows Tanjiro is both kind-hearted and strong, so he knows he can trust him

His wives even agree, finding your relationship adorable

When the two of you start dating, he even invites Tanjiro for dinner

HOW THEY MEET

giyuu arrives at the location for his mission

it was reported that a lower class family had been turned into demons and were recking havoc on the small town they lived in

at nightfall giyuu approaches the home of the demon family and is greeted by the father and mother

as well as a human child

the two demon parents toy with the child

pushing her to the ground

pulling her hair

but when the father raises a clawed hand to her

giyuu takes the opportunity

before the strike can land on the childs face

the demons heads have already hit the ground

the child stares at the severed heads with a blank look

immediately giyuu is kneeling in front of her to block the line of sight

and he is assessing the damage done to her and asking

"do you have other family?"

the girl stays silent but shakes her head

he stands abruptly causing the child to flinch and his eyes soften

by now the sun has begun to rise and the bodies of the demons are gone

giyuu walks into the house to find anything of necessity for the child

and he is disgusted to see that even though the family had no obvious lack of money

the child was provided NOTHING of importance

feeling a small hand latch onto his haori he looks down

and with a sigh giyuu is carefully picking her up and beginning the walk back his estate

THEIR RELATIONSHIP

several months after the incident a meeting is called with the hashira

before leaving his estate Giyuu receives a letter

taking it from his crow and quickly reading it Giyuu walks to the backyard

sitting there amongst the flowers is the young girl he saved

he walks to her and reaches out a hand to help her up

she takes it, stands, and then motions for him to lean down

he does

and then she plops a flower crown on the top of his head

its messy and its more stems and leaves then flowers but giyuu allows it

together they leave the estate and begin the travel to the butterfly mansion for the meeting

standing outside of the mansion the child digs her heels into the ground due to her nervousness stopping giyuu in his tracks

he kneels to her height taking the makeshift crown from his head and placing it on hers

and then reaches out a hand

she takes it and then he opens the door to the mansion

MEETING THE OTHER SLAYERS

as the door opens and they step into the room hand in hand all heads turn to them

a small women with purple hair and a teasing smile is the first to speak, "you're late Tomioka"

before the other slayers can add to her comment

a man with a gentle voice speaks "he is late because I had a last minute request for him"

he turns to Giyuu

"is she here?"

the other slayers murmur their confusion

Giyuu just gently tugs the hand of the girl and pulls her from behind him with a "she is"

The man introduces himself as the leader of the demon slayer corps and then asks for her to be introduced to the other people in the room before giving a gentle smile and leaving

The slayers go around the room introducing themselves

Tengen, Mitsuri, and Obanai were nice enough

Muichiro was kind but reintroduced himself 3 times because he forgot what was happening

Sanemi was intimidating and angry

Shinobu was also very nice but the girl didn't like how she interacted with her adoptive parent so rudely

and Kyojuro was a bit too loud

soon enough the girl finds herself sitting in the lap of the love hashira having her hair braided while the rest of the hashira are poking fun at Giyuu

the girl sits there silently watching until Sanemi takes it a step too far

"the poor girl probably doesn't even like you! i sure fucking don't. she's probably miserable staying with y-"

"don't be mean to him!"

silence

its the first words she spoken since she walked through the door

running and latching onto Giyuu's leg she glares at Sanemi

"the only person I don't like is you!" before hiding her face in Giyuu's leg

no one says a word

until Tengen bursts out laughing lol

quickly Sanemi becomes the victim of teasing and Giyuu and the child are forgotten

Giyuu kneels down to her and puts a hand on her head

Hello, anon! I want requests indeed, so I appreciate you sending one in!

Ooooh. Very interesting scenario. You said Tengen or Kyojuro or Shinobu, but what about option D: all three? Let's do it!

Well, Tengen already had this happen to him once, but let's say it happened again with a S/O he aspired to make his fourth partner (it can be you if you're into Tengen!) Upon first finding out, I think he would be struck with memories of what happened at the entertainment district and the trauma would cause him to have an emotional breakdown. He would be absolutely struck with PTSD from the same thing happening to him yet again. Angry, he would punch a hole in the wall and then collapse to the ground, shaking.

Minutes later, he would look in the mirror and give himself a pep talk, "Snap out of this, Tengen! A reaction like this is so unflashy of you... You're a hashira! Think of Kyojuro, what would he focus on? Or Gyomei? Or Shinobu? Or Mitsuri? What would they focus on? That's right, saving others... You have to be a flashy hashira about this!" From that point on, he would put his emotions aside and focus on one thing only: saving his S/O.

Tengen is a very strategic man, so I believe the first thing he'd do is figure out an intelligent way to save his S/O. He wouldn't involve any of the other hashira, as he believes that it's his responsibility alone to slaughter the demon that captured his S/O. Even if it's an upper moon, Tengen doesn't care, he'll stop at nothing to save his S/O.

He would go into the mission with death in mind. He knows there's a good chance he'll die to this demon, but maybe, just maybe, he can save his S/O first. That's his only goal, as he feels somewhat at fault for them being dragged into this mess to begin with.

Kyojuro would have an optimistic outlook from the beginning. Upon finding out his S/O was captured, he would smile, surprising everyone nearby, and say something along the lines of: "No matter. We will just get <their name> back!" In his mind, there is no doubt whatsoever that he will save his S/O. Thus, there's no point in being afraid, he will handle this mission like usual and things will end as they always do, with 0 innocent casualties. The only ones dying will be demons.

Kyojuro's confidence and nobility would inspire multiple other demon slayers to want to take up arms and help him, but he would refuse to let any lower ranked demon slayers join him on such a dangerous venture. However, he would happily let other hashira accompany him, but only those fast enough to keep up, as you best believe he will move like a flash to reach the demon holding his S/O captive. Thus, Shinobu, Obanai, Mitsuri, and Giyu would be the ones joining him.

During the mission, the other hashira would notice an intensity in Kyojuro they had never seen before. He would be slaying each demon as quick as possible, as each one is a mere stepping stone to get closer to his S/O. In his eyes, there would be a burning determination as he marches closer and closer to his lover.

Despite not expressing any discontent on the surface, deep inside he would be extremely angry towards the demon who had taken his S/O. However, Kyojuro is a man with strong emotional discipline who recognizes that he must reserve all of his anger for the demon in question. Thus, around his peers, he would wear a brave face and hide how mad he really is.

Then, when the group finally reaches the demon in question, Kyojuro would fight spirited and with no smiles at all. He would neglect all dialogue with the demon, no matter how much it tried to talk to him. He would simply try to dispatch with it as quick as he possibly could. Inevitably, he would succeed, and it'd all be because of the fiery love he has for his S/O.

In Shinobu's case, I'm going to go a different route and say that she actually witnessed her S/O being captured, but was simply unable to stop it at the time. Perhaps she was busy fighting another demon when it happened. At first, she would give her all to catch up to the demon that has her S/O, but upon realizing that the demon was already too far away, she would stop, collapse to the ground, and yell out.

Her feelings of inferiority would flare up: Why am I so weak? Why was I given such a weak and frail body, which can't even stop the demon taking my beloved? Why can't I be better? She would fall into an emotional pit, leaving her feeling too incompetent to do anything more to save her S/O. The trauma of all the loved ones she had lost before would lead her to believe that this one would inevitably be lost too.

Years and years of rage towards demons would culminate at this very moment. They took her parents, her beloved sister, her tsuguko, and now her S/O. A little like Tengen, she would break down in anger, except she'd take much longer to come out of it. She would seethe in rage and go on a killing spree of every demon nearby, slaughtering them all and forcing them down until the sun rose, unless they could tell her something about where her S/O was being taken.

It would take Gyomei to snap her out of this fit of rage. He would find her the next day, on her knees, covered in demon blood, with a furious look on her face. Then, she would see him and those kind eyes, and begin to cry. He would embrace her, softly, and say, "It's okay, my child..." He would console her as she sobbed.

After Gyomei calmed her down, she would finally be able to tell him what happened and that one of the demons she killed throughout the night confessed to her where her S/O was being taken. She would ask, desperately, if he would help her save her S/O. He would agree, and the two of them would head off, doing their best to save <their name> and at least avenge them if they're already gone.

Shinobu would fight with ferocity and passion at this point, doing everything she can to try and get her S/O back. To finally save one person important to her, and to prove to herself that she isn't inferior; that she is a hashira for a reason.

And, Shinobu would succeed. Showing incredible bravery and fighting spirit, the love she has inside would drive her to the demon that had her S/O captured and she would kill it with a brutal dose of poison before Gyomei even has the chance to help. He would cry, amazed by the incredible woman Shinobu had grown up to be. Then, Shinobu's S/O would be saved. She would sob as she held them close, so happy to see them still alive, saved from that despicable demon.

Summary: headcannons for the hashiras having a older brother figure.

Rengoku

Ok first he really badly want to help you, because yk he's used to helping people rather than getting helped.

he will admire you, no matter what you do. Cooks a good meal, complements till dawn. If your a Slayer and your training your fighting style, nothing will spill from his mouth but praise.

If your not a Slayer and your just doing house chores or helping out he will barge in and try to 'take the weight' off of your shoulders.

If he sees you as a older brother Senjuro definitely will.

Will Intrust you too look after Senjuro and his father if he ever passes and takes you over to his place atlease once a week for a family diner.

He does cry to you some nights but it's rare, or when he dosent want to visit his mother's grave alone and asked you to join him.

If his father ever got aggressive he so happy to have you stand up against his father. Sure he can without problems but hes just so tired of it.

All in all, he trusts his life to you and welcomes you with open arms if you ever need help yourself.

Shinobu

Now, she is quite different from rengoku.

She sees more of a very close friend rather than close family for a while.

She does tend to your need tho. If you need water, medicine, help with the house she'll help you with out a second thought.

She holds a deep trust with you, something she tries not to do with many people.

When you help her with her problems it did spark up a few things within the woman.

Over time she does warm up to you and one thing leads to another she's on the verge of tears on a roof top letting all her bottled up stress out.

It's been so long since she shared her inner feelings with someone but God did it feel good.

She comes to you more often now and ever so slowly views you as family. She trusts you and rants about her day or her problems as your cooking dinner for the butterfly girls and the injured.

Muichiro

He never really remembers when you showed up in his life but he knows you've been in it for a while.

You really the only thing/one he doesn't forget about, he knows the little things about you such as your dislikes and hobbies, favourite colour things like that.

He really only remembers you as family so all together he just says your his older brother and moves on.

Because of his forgetful nature he dosent bring you up, like at all, unless he's asked.

"hey muichiro, who's that guy you were talking to before?" "My brother" "you have a brother! why didn't you tell us!?" "you never asked?"

Nothing really goes one between you two, of course you have days when Muichiro feels really of and y'all just cuddle up out side in the grass and hair, stare at the clouds.

He does help you cook and clean the house, and does come to you if he has any concerns or problems he dosent want people to know about.

Sanemi

It takes FOREVER to get this motherfucker to actually commit to even talking to you.

I mean come on, have you see how he treats his real brother???

Not saying that he would never warm up to you, bro just has issues, it'll take some time for him to semi trust you

Now, where should we start.

He's worse than sanemi, like by many miles.

He will NOT make any attempts to talk to you, even if you said something first.

The only reason he does put up with talking to you is because of mitsuri...

Took you a minimum of 6 months to get obanai to like you enough to spark up conversations.

Took you even longer to get him to trust you enough for him to talk about his scars, don't even worry about showing you.

Bro told you and ditched after you asked to see them. It's not he fact that he dosent like you, it's the fact that he can't trust people except mitsuri obviously.

After about a year or so he finally showed you his scars, and the first time he cried infrount of someone.

He now, like sanemi, rants about everything and anything to you. Wether it be giyuu, the water being too cold, a bad mission ect

He trusts you enough to break down infrount of you, tell his deepest secrets too yk stuff he wouldn't be caught dead doing.
