ohhh there's so many!!!

first one that comes to mine is when shannon tells eddie she wanted a partner to have her back (or something along those lines, i can't remember the scene very well) and then ravi saying "isn’t that what we all want in a partner, knowing that they have your back?"? in 5x18 when one of the most iconic buddie scenes is the "you can have my back any day" "or you know you could have mine" scene. LIKE!!!! i feel that's very telling idk and i think about it often.

ohhh also when eddie was the first to get to buck in the factory fire in buck begins (i think it's eddie at least???) and putting his hands on the rope and pulling and then he's also the first one to react on 06x11 and the first one to get to the ladder and trying to pull the rope. (also buck screamimg eddie's name in the pouring rain in eddie begins and then eddie screamimg buck's name when the lightning struck!!!)

KSHSKSJS so many good parallels tbh. I'm going feral just thinking about them.

Buck reaches for Tommy’s belt. He manages to get it unbuckled before Tommy’s brain seemingly comes back online and he grabs ahold of Buck’s wrists, stilling his movements. “Evan, what are you doing?” “Did you not see me grab the lube and condoms?” Buck asks. “What did you think I brought us in here for?” Tommy lets out a disbelieving laugh. “To jerk each other off? Maybe some light fingering?” “Tommy.” Buck gives him his most serious expression. “I want you to fuck me on his desk.” Eyes flashing with heat, Tommy slides his hands from Buck’s wrists, up his arms to toy with the collar of his shirt. “Yeah? You want me to fuck you where anyone could walk in and see you? You’re that much of a cockslut that you’ll let me bend you over the desk and take you right here?”

"Your hands are warm" is just a little ficlet in response to a prompt from @messyhairdiaz. It's a little silly and very fluffy, and the premise is Buckley Diaz family camping trip and a chilly night out by the campfire. (The snippet is very rough, please excuse any awkwardness.)

“Mmm, stay?” Eddie requests, snuggling down into the blanket wrapped around his shoulders and nuzzling into Buck's touch. “Your hands are warm.”

Buck chuckles at that, shifting his hands from Eddie's neck to cup his jaw and tilt his chin back gently, leaning over until they're practically nose to nose. “Don't you think maybe it's time to head inside? You're freezing.”

“Can't,” Eddie teases, grinning up at him with that silly smile Buck adores, “Chris isn't ready to head in yet.”

“Do not drag me into this,” Christopher argues from his spot by the fire. When Buck glances up at him, he is actively avoiding even a glance in their direction, and Buck can't help but snort a laugh.

“Your excuse just sold you out,” Buck teases, fingers still gentle against Eddie's jaw. Eddie grins again, big and goofy, and Buck can't help but tilt his chin back a little further until he can press a kiss to that pretty mouth.

“Mmm,” Eddie murmurs through his smile as they part, lips so close they brush Buck's as he speaks, “your lips are warm, too.” Buck huffs a laugh against Eddie's mouth at that as Eddie's grin grows and Buck tries to turn it back into a kiss, even as they both succumb to ridiculous giggles.

The Lichtenberg figures fic is essentially a post 6x11 recovery fic where Eddie notices Buck's dismay over his Lichtenberg scars fading, so in response, Eddie gets his hands on a set of skin markers, and he and Christopher spend hours tracing the fading scars, so that Buck can get them tattooed into his skin when they finally release him from the hospital.

This fic has been in the works for a while (since 6x10 🙃😬), so please forgive me if I have already shared this snippet, but here's a tiny preview.

Buck's been healing for a while—he's been awake for a few days, but he'd been asleep for nearly a week, and the elegant branching patterns across his neck and chest are no longer the angry burn-red they'd begun. They're healing quickly, the red-raw skin dulling to a pale pink, the surface healed, but the scars still etched into Buck's skin for the time being. The doctors say they should fade away fully soon; that they likely won't leave a trace behind.  Buck frowns when he hears it.  Eddie notices.

okay so @buddiesmutslut also asked for fire marshall buck & CEO Eddie

so far i only have a rough outline and a couple of loose scenes written down but i was rewatching s3 and when fire marshall buck showed up i was like.... wait a min.

imagine CEO Eddie and it's like the busiest day of his career, he's been in meetings all morning and he has to finish this really important report and he also has to finish this big presentation for tomorrow morning and he hasn't even started it yet— the point is! he is stressed.

and on top of that he now suddenly has to deal with an unannounced fire drill and a way too smug, way too annoying fore marshall buck that it's ticking away on his clipboard and telling eddie all the ways in whivh he has failed evacuating the building with the rest of his employees. (okay maybe he knew about the drill weeks ago but he forgot and really, is it really that important? what are the chances that his building would burn down?)

and... im gonna shut up now bc i dont wanna give all of it away lmao.

Hi there! For your honesty hour: What’s a game you love at the moment, and a game you love from your childhood? Any particular characters/themes/mechanics that drew you in?

Okay so the only games I played in childhood were the Sims and Age of Empires so like. Not so much on the characters to carry forward

A game I love now, well, there’s a lot of them? The two I’ve been playing most recently are Jedi Fallen Order and Hades and I’m not sure what sort of lines could be drawn there.

Between Age of Empires and JFO, I like games that let me cause problems for Empires on purpose, and I guess between the Sims and Hades, I like playing (a) god? 😂 idk
