can I just say, I followed you for your beautiful art style and use of colours and I stayed for your beautiful art style and use of colours AND cyanobacteria. Like, I know nothing about them because I'm a classic lit major but more often than not I find myself reading your posts about cyanobacteria with unexpected interest and fascination

HAH! I'm glad u enjoy them bc I feel absolutely intolerable when I talk abt them lol. But also. I am the cyanobacteria evangelist. I am the patron saint of cyanobacteria.

#mostly bc it just feels like no one cares and then even if they care a lil they care in the most boring way possible #like i dont care abt cyanos from the perspective of usefulness or as a toxic threat or relative to plants #i just think theyre cool independent of all that! theyre the only multicellular bacteria! they're complex and do interesting things!#billions of years ago they aquired the abilty to reach out toward a distant star and aquire its energy #and they became so good at it that everyone started stealing their power. and i kno im being pedantic when i get annoyed when ppl r like oh #they're like microscopic plants or plants do photosynthesis but also other stuff does too. bc its like. no. u got it all backwards cyanos #did photosynthesis 1st and were the best to ever fucking do it. they r the most important organisms to ever exist on this planet aside from #THE universal common ancestor and u r barely mentioning them and if u do ur sidelining them. and it feels like im the only one who cares. i #was talking to my lab mate abt this and she was like: i feel like if u post abt cyanobacteria on the internet u open urself up to being #harrassed by me specifically lol. so i should post abt them more and force myself to read more papers but idk it jsut feels like screaming #into the void. whatever. im just happy i kinda kno the phylogeny now #also the fact that cyanos r interesting comes as a surprise is prob bc again everyone talks abt them in the most boring ways possible #i just dont care about anything useful. i just want to do interesting science. basic research. lets see whats out there type stuff #as the government is attempting to strangle academia to death. ugh #unrelated

S2 Ep 2 spoilers my thoughts primarily which. i have a few.

Wow okay Zam so i have. some opinions. but im keeping the spicier ones to myself i do like Zam being a little bastard and i think he should be allowed to commit more crimes also. him being like "i'll kill tabi for you <3" hes pookie Parrot continues to. confuse me like bro really just let Zam do that to him huh. Not where I was expecting that to go Seawatt is interesting, he's going for Evbo's immortality which he probably doesnt realize is more of a curse than a blessing

ClownPierce sparing Evbo? also interesting and the fact he doesn't tell Tabi makes me think he's acting more as a double agent The eternal axe and the diamond axe being separate in the inventory is. a bit confusing considering how the eternal sword seemed to turn into the only sword in the inventory but thats prob just retconned or for drama Eternal trident is what they're going for next, I do wonder what the Eternal weapon for shields is gonna be like or if they even have one which im assuming they do? but. yeag. many thoughts head full

robert downy jr meme: They are missing the point that this is a slow journey before destination story about trying to sincerely learn about, communicate with and work with others because we all have differing perspectives and lives that could benefit one another. That we should not jump to judgements of people we only see the basic surface of because there is always a reason for people's actions. That everyone is worth saving, yeah even that one that did unforgivable shit.

Pondering bottom surgery in the tags I mf guess

#I’ve been. thinking abt bottom surgery again after having accepted for a while that I would probably never get it #for context early on in my transition I was dead set on phallo but then T and my other surgeries satisfied me enough to not need it #+ for phallo I would have had to keep an arm or leg free of tattoos and I just did not want to wait on that #not considering it would probably be at least a decade. tattoos were and are more important #+ the more I started to enjoy using what I have I was like. it is simply not medically necessary anymore #like would I like to have a **** yes. do I need one to live a happy life no #being bi complicates things for me too bc it depends a little bit who I marry #don’t want to tailor my body to a specific relationship esp if it doesn’t last forever but it does make a difference #current partner is nonbinary and wants phallo so that does not make things simpler lol #I want a body that allows the most affirming possible relationship w the person I intend to marry #I also don’t want to end up hindering things w future partners should that not happen #anyway I say all this to say. I had never considered meta as an option bc I didn’t think it would do much for me #lot of effort and money and healing for not as drastic a change. wouldn’t solve my biggest bottom dysphoria issues #however. starting to think it could be the middle ground I’m looking for as a gnc/genderfluid person #it would be less surgeries. less complicated n expensive. less changes to my current anatomy #esp if I don’t do everything you Can do w meta. I could do like half of all that or less #I don’t wanna risk giving up the things I can do now without knowing if I’ll enjoy the new possibilities #but this could be a way to just kinda feel more affirmed without it changing my life all that much #I think just the act of undergoing bottom surgery would be affirming. like I’ve done Everything I’m a binary male thru and thru. transexual #and I wouldn’t have to keep wondering if I’ll do it someday or if I should #not that I can any time soon I’m uninsured. insurance prob wouldn’t even cover it #but just. the more I look into it and think abt it + the more serious my relationship gets the more I lean towards it #my partner talking increasingly abt wanting bottom surgery asap is influencing me too ngl not even in a jealousy way #just. I can’t deal w the possibility of a partners phallo fucking up my relationship w my body Again. I would need to know what I want #man. I can’t even go to therapy to talk thru it. on account of being uninsured #mine #txt #personal
