For Blue Exorcist, any predictions of what Lucifer could do next, in terms of his plan? Right now, he seems to be lying in wait for the right opportunity, but Iblis has died and Egyn switched sides, so the only other Baal on his side remaining is Astaroth. It seems Lucifer currently has more technological and human resources at his disposal, compared to the True Cross, so I think that's an advantage. Satan's fortress could have some interesting surprises, like that cameo of Rinka(?).

Hey Anon ! Yeah, Lucifer's almost out of Baal allies, besides Astaroth indeed. :) But it's true Lucifer's main strength probably relies on...

strong humans/exorcists working for the Illuminati (like Homare for example) who seem numerous compared to the Order's exorcists who stayed to fight against Satan's fortress

and besides the Order too has already lost great exorcists like Lucy and Osceola (T_T), which means, so far, Lucifer is probably not so worried by Iblis' defeat and Egyn defecting.

Most importantly though, I'd say Lucifer still has allies hiding within the True Cross Order, such as...

...probably Jeremiah, from the Uzai family. (Random thought but, if Jeremiah was discovered to be helping with the creation of the Illuminati, that might even be why Shiemi's father was killed.)

Recently, Jeremiah was also strongly interested in having Arthur fighting against Lucifer & the Illuminati, to Lightning's disapproval...

so, even though Arthur is not in the current battle, I think it's likely that Arthur will become Lucifer's next vessel, "thanks" to Jeremiah.

And if when Lucifer gets a strong vessel like Arthur, then he will have reached his own personal goal, besides the unification of Assiah and Gehenna, which is what Satan's powers triggered. At this moment, it might feel like the True Cross Order will lose the battle, because I doubt Mephisto can stand against Lucifer while he's possessing Arthur.

In other words, if Lucifer possesses Arthur, then Mephisto might (temporarily?) lose his own vessel, meaning it will be up to either Shura or the Okumura twins to defeat Lucifer!Arthur, depending on Sensei's plans.

If it were up to me (obviously it isn't x)), I'd love Shura vs Arthur while the twins deal with Satan's fortress and Shiemi with the Uzai family, but hey, I guess we'll see soon enough. :))

As for the humans working for the Illuminati, I think Homare (who is the most important of them all, narratively) might be defeated by the Shima brothers +/- Mamushi, as explained here and here !

Paradox Live The Animation Episode 8 Review - Corrosion

Last episode review, I theorized that Hajun was going through phantometal corrosion after seeing what Nayuta was suffering from. I got that right! However, I don’t want to celebrate as this episode was super emotional. I gasped when Hajun fainted and legit shed some tears after everything that transpired in the latter half of the episode.

Okay, first off, Hajun, why are you such a hater? First, you called TCW “past-expiration” and now you called Akan Yatsura “playing house with a bunch of strays”. Funny enough, both teams revolve around being a family despite not being blood related; Hajun is also related to the Yeon Conglomerate, but he’s not related to them by blood and got thrown aside. I can see that he has heavy abandonment issues because of that. Since he was adopted, that means he was either abandoned by his actual birth parents or they died and he was put in an orphanage before adoption. He was abandoned once. The second time he was abandoned was because of his adopted parents not wanting him anymore after his brother was born. I understand why he’d be heavily guarded ever since that incident. Being abandoned twice does take a toll in one’s psyche. Hajun doesn’t want to admit that he found a family of his own with Anne and Allen; this episode was him coming to terms with how important they are to him. It made me happy. HOWEVER, Hajun, if you ever dare be a hater towards cozmez, I will personally transmigrate into your world and break your kneecaps while cursing in Korean.

Seeing Hajun having corrosion and being cured from it made me a bit sad, honestly. Nayuta didn’t know there was a cure. Had he told someone, he could’ve been happier (and Shiki too). Though, there is a possibility that Nayuta is still alive after giving a bit of a teaser last episode. The method of going inside a person’s mind to cure their corrosion really gives off Kingdom Hearts vibes with the dive into people’s hearts stuff. I honestly like it. There’s something very magical about that method—I’m writing a story that has the main character dive into people’s memories to grant their wishes (if you want to read it, it’s available on Tapas, Royal Road, Wattpad and Webnovel—just click on the links on the pinned post on my page and you'll be directed). The only time this cure was used was when Buraikan was active ten years ago. Is that Shura guy that ramen guy wearing a disguise? Wait, is the ramen guy his default appearance or is that a disguise? I don’t know! All I know is that the ramen guy’s only voice cameo from Episode 5 was the same guy who rapped the ending song and they have the same voice actor. I think I have pretty good ears to be able to distinguish voices. Wait, what happened to the other Buraikan guy if that was the case? Is he dead? Was he unable to be cured? Does that mean Hajun is the only successful case so far?

I do wonder how Iori has so much knowledge of phantometal. I know that he’s trying to research Alter Trigger in a way by getting the “kids” to gather information about Ryu, which was what Episode 6 was about on their end. Since he’s yakuza, is he trying to destroy them? But seriously, how much does he know? Does he know about Nayuta’s case? Despite being fine as heck, he’s a man full of mysteries. Every time he shows up, there seems to be more questions than answers. Also, I can’t believe Satsuki and Reo have the gall to start a random food fight during meal time. Who does that?

Since this is a BAE episode, AKYR’s song isn’t heard much. However, thanks to the power of current modern technology AKA Youtube, I listened to Call For Familiez. I liked it a lot! Fabulous was also really good to listen to. I think I like Fabulous the best out of all the BAE songs so far. It just sounds so different from the first two BAE songs I’ve heard. I think both songs are just so different from the usual powerful songs both groups have—they’re currently my favorites from each group now!

Also, I want to discuss Hajun’s Korean at the ending. In Episode 4, he said “Gomawoyo”, which means “Thank you” in Korean, but it’s used in a more polite manner. If you’re not familiar with the Korean language, adding -yo to the end of your sentences makes them polite and formal. Since Hajun used -yo at the end of his sentence, it showed that while he was thankful to Allen and Anne, there was still some distance. In this episode, he says “Gomawo”. Notice that he doesn’t add -yo at the end of his sentence this time. This shows that the wall between Hajun and the other two have finally been broken. If you’re wondering about the difference between “gomawoyo” and “kamsahamnida”, which are both words of gratitude, “Gomawo” is more informal and used casually while “kamsahamnida” is the more polite/formal usage. Since Hajun used the former, it showed that he is comfortable around his friends to speak casually to them, but still added -yo at the end at first. Now that he broken the boundaries between him and his group, he doesn’t need to use -yo when talking to them. The writers really did their research on the language and I’m super impressed.

Next episode’s title has the words shrouded in green, meaning it’s going to focus on all four groups again and maybe have them do weird shenanigans like what they did in Episode 6. I do wonder what will happen next week. I’m excited. Once again, thank you all of the people who commented on my review of the previous episode. You’re all lovely people and I hope you meet people as wonderful as Anne and Allen. What are your thoughts on this episode?

Every time you talk about Shura, I love her more and more, she's just so endearing

I'm glad! Shura is a character that is very near and dear to my heart. Other than my character Tilly (Who I've mentioned by name but never really talked about), she's the character I've had the longest.

She's gotten me through some really rough times. I love her and doing all kinds of story things with her.

What's funny is: Star Palace isn't technically her official canon.

She was just supposed to be a cameo, and then it all spiraled out of control because of how much I love her, and then she became part of the main cast.

I would like to explore her actual canon much later. But I plan on having her make cameos in the background as much as I can, like in Gartha, and my unnamed VERY MUCH still in the works Sci-fi project.

Buckle Up, Shit's About to Get Weird Again--

Only five ficlets for this week's postmortem! On account of me taking Monday and Tuesday off (and what a vacation that was. It was really nice getting to just chill for a little while, although I'm really happy to be back properly!)

Things Have Moved, and I Have An Admission - So I shifted some stuff around from last week, as is customary at this point, and I the longer this goes on the more I am. Certain that I will do a Grand Re-Ranking maybe a week after I finish all the characters I have lined up or at most, right before I start the Post 3.0/Amphoreus leg of this race. I think my grading criteria has been a bit too nebulous and has only gotten more so as I continue (originally it was subjective quality, then it was how much I wanted to go back and read it, now it's kind of just Vibes), but that's not a huge deal, considering that this is all for fun and the ranking is more an excuse for me to do some self-critique and share some of my writing process with the people who wanna read that--

Dazzling Ninja and Silvergun Shura in: Crash Bang Boom! Flashy New Hairstyle!, A Tier - I think this one was really fun and a nice snapshot of Rappa and Boothill's dynamic but I think my slight bias towards Boots and the relative newness of Rappa's character to me combined to make her take something of a backseat in her own fic. It was something I definitely noticed by the time I finished writing it, but I was cutting it pretty close to the wire/I was getting a little tired so I figured I'd leave it as is because Rappa does absolutely get the punchline of this entire scenario. I don't know how well it read, but I really wanted the first half of the ficlet to read as like. Old Dragon Ball/Shonen Anime narration (probably read in Rappa's voice inside her head) until there was that break of Momentary But Absolutely Real Danger when Rappa got shot at. Also wow, I really just. Breezed over the fact that Boothill shot a guy and killed him, didn't I? Kinda feels like this bit from Avatar--

Teaching a Good Dog New Tricks, S Tier - Pfft. This one was really silly. I typed up the title first--I usually do this as a point of reference for the fic's tone, and then change it if needed as I write--and just kind of ran with it from there. This is definitely one of those ficlets that got me in the ever elusive "Groove" really fast, and I absolutely attribute it both to the way I wrote Sampo and Gepard's dynamic and the fact that, as mentioned in Feixiao's Ficlet's A/N, I love taking capable characters out of their comfort zones. Gepard is canonically a tank, so it felt only right that he's not all that graceful, especially on the ice (which like. Same. I have tried ice skating multiple times and biffed it every single time.) Honestly the one thing I think holding this ficlet back/something that I'd change is I would want the scene to go longer. Like actually have Sampo teach Gepard how to skate with no strings attached (outside of forcing the stuffy captain into some quality time that isn't just grilling him down at the station.) Thankfully, sequels exist <3

False Start, S Tier - This one was. A nightmare to sort out. But once I had the idea figured I got it going really well. My probably ADHD was kicking my ass in regards to actually getting this done but again, fucking. Nailed it in terms of honoring Qingque's character. The cameo thing was born of wanting to make her delays feel actually fun instead of annoying (from the reader's perspective at least) and the guessing game that came with it was. Fully just me having fun. In hindsight, I absolutely should have had Bailu in the scene, and honestly she would have been easy to write in, but alas, my 11:00PM brain was not cooperating lol.

Not related to the fic, but I'm really happy that the running gag of Boothill lying about being other PCs made it into the actual guessing game that was so fun to riff off of.

The Importance of Proper Form, A Tier - Down in A Tier instead of S Tier because I think I wrote Feixiao a bit too out of character, even if I said I was intending for the piece to be pre-canon. Wiggle room aside, I don't think I did enough in the story itself to express how annoyed/embarrassed I wanted her to be for missing shots. That being said, Jiaoqiu and Moze felt pretty solid for me. I love the idea of the brain cell kind of just. Bouncing between the three of them when they're not in an Active Crisis and they all have to lock the fuck in. Again, I would also like to think my friend, Val, who teaches archery IRL for giving me a laundry list of beginner archery mistakes to slap onto Feixiao, it was a 10/10 infodump <3

Laid Up, S Tier - Lukaaa my beloved. I have a friend who doesn't play HSR but has been following my updates make a joke about how I might be "holding up parts of the fandom single-handedly" and while I have definitely felt it in the response to a couple fics (mainly someone getting really excited about Yunli content after her release,) I think Luka, by virtue of being a relatively early release and despite him being the MC of the actual Wardance Event, could benefit from some bolstering. I love him, he's fun, I am absolutely getting something signed by his VA when he comes to a local con in the Summer and... yeah. It was fun writing him being a bit of a pain for Natasha with his self-sacrificial/dedicated instinct.

What's Up Next? - I have some more travel plans coming up and in the spirit of being a Good House Guest, there will be a pause in ficlets again, starting from This Friday (March 14) to the following Tuesday (March 18.) I'll do another mini postmortem on the after I finish the next 4 ficlets, and when I'm back, another mini postmortem on the following Sunday! It's weird but once it's done it'll all make sense, lol--

A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 62

MY 10 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 62 (manga chapter 98):

Such a cute episode: a nice, light dessert after the feast that was the Benizakura Arc. I also loved the recap of the arc at the begging of the episode, set to Shura, one of my favorite credits songs in the series (love DOES). 

1) I think I would want to hurl too. I love Hijikata, his mayo obsession and all, so I would just be sick in private when he’s not around.

2) The PoT gang making a cameo. Ahh, the nostalgia.

3) Of the interviews Ryomazaki conducted in order to investigate Gin-chan, these two were my faves.

4) Gintoki being a responsible adult. I loved that in the first live action, they basically had Tae-chan do a version of this scene except they took out the hentai part. 

5) The anime team made it much more obvious where Yamazaki’s peephole was situated.

6) Dear brave Yamazaki...always putting his life on the line for his job. 

7) I loved Shinpachi’s totally whatevs attitude in this episode. He’s so over everything.

8) Poor Gintoki. 

9) These guys are bad for Gin-chan’s health and their own. 

10) If the last thing one sees is The Queen’s face before one dies from being skewered by a shit ton of sharpened bamboo shoots, that can’t be a completely bad thing. 

SHIPS TALLY:

Gintoki x Hijikata: obviously Hijikata is thinking about Gintoki 24/7 so he had to send Yamazaki on his “mission” to investigate him. 

Kondou x Otae: a) I thought it was cute that Tae-chan renovated her whole house because of Kondou, and b) I agree with him...her fort-house seems to be designed with the intention to lock her stalker inside with her. 

Gintoki x Sacchan: obsessed devoted as always. 

Gintoki x Otae: sure, her methods are a bit on the violent side and her “cooking” is...well, anyway, but she means well and she obviously cares about him and that’s what’s most important.

Kondou x Sacchan: it would’ve been such a funny twist if they just started making out. I would’ve been totally for it, even though it would’ve been a total betrayal to my ships for them. 

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

Skip the question if you answered it already but how did the idea of star palace came to be?

Hi there! I've answered this on Youtube before, but I don't mind answering it again here.

If I'm being honest, Star Palace happened entirely thanks to two thing: FNAF Security Breach, and Reed wanting to be Zavy's VA.

Back when Security Break came out, I got REALLY into it. Obviously my favorite character(s) was the Daycare Attendant. Sun/Moon was a lot of fun, and I liked seeing everyone making fan characters to insert into that world.

So I wound up wanting to make a character too. For a while there I was VERY into Adoptables, so I decided to look and see if there were any clowns I likes up for sale. Sadly, all of the ones I liked had already been bought. So I took qualities I liked from all of those clowns as well as a bunch of the characters I was obsessing over at that time, and I made Zavy.

Zavy was originally made to be another Daycare character, and Reed adored his design and wanted to shoot his shot with trying to do the voice I'd headcanoned for Zavy. What he gave me was different, but I liked it WAY more and he then had a voice.

From that point on, I also made Fairy Floss, and then eventually Mirage after the story was starting to come together.

Shura and Ery weren't originally intended to be in the story, but at this point I'm very very happy that they are.

Ery was originally going to be just a cameo as Mirage's puppet and that shifted one day when I started making jokes about them being in love with her. In the actual writing of Star Palace, it has shifted even more and while Mirage does talk, Ery does a lot of talking FOR them.

Shura's involvement went from being just a "what if" to another cameo, to essentially becoming another main character.

And thus, we now have the Star Palace that's currently being written.

What I want to see in the next Fire Emblem game

No not Heroes, Nope, not Warriors, No, not Echoes, I mean, the next new installment they’re gonna have…. in 2018

I know it’s too early to tell, but i’ve basically made up my mind about this since I finished(LOL!) Fates.

•Everyone supports Everyone. I’m pretty much through with this Avatar-sexual nonsense. Using Shura and Scarlet made me realize that they had potential for some really interesting conversations but nope, couldn’t be bothered to write them all in and that just doesn’t make sense to me. Also, they are really good units so it's like,"i can only take full advantage of your ability when i pair my avatar up with you."

•Canon pairings. Yes, this means there are some people the avatar can’t marry! I know some people may disagree with this, but I feel it would be interesting. We’ve had two games where the Avatar could support anybody, even people like Gunter, Fuga and Yukimura who just don’t make sense. But anyway, I think canon pairings would add an interesting feel to certain characters and might even help develop them more if done right. I know this is dangerous too cuz it might lead them to do bad things with it or it might be too corny but again, if implemented right i think it’d be cool. This fixes things like Sumia being the obvious mother for Lucina as per opening and in game cutscenes and yet, you can ignore that. Then why bother IntSys?"

•Send the children on vacation. Look, I know you like the kid mechanic IntSys but honestly, we’re getting tired of it. Its ok to skip out on them and bring them back once you’ve figured out a way to reintroduced them.

•Cameo appearances. Yup, it’s ok to give people what they want and use popularity contest winners to draw sales to the games but, can you please make them come back in a way you can actually explain? Thank you! I get that people love Laslow, Selena and Odin, but who here can explain their presence in this Fates Universe without running into a plot hole? Yup,. So I think that an easy way to bring Oboro and Jakob(?) - see i really don't think they'll use the royals, as much as i love Leo. - would be to have them appear AS OBORO AND JAKOB maybe the new game takes place in the same universe but in a kingdom that is not Nohr or Hoshido! That way IntSys can even get away with referencing Leo and Camilla and whoever else was high up there without bringing hem into the scene. IntSys can do this for virtually any previous game!.

•On the Avatar. Look, it honestly makes no difference to me whether we have one or not. I would miss customizing their appearance, name and voice, but since their character development still falls outside of my control, i might as well be given character with default name and appearance and call it the avatar. "Oh but it wouldn't really be you cuz you don't get to pick class and strengths and weaknesses" Well we had AT LEAST 12 games where we couldn't do that and here we stand.

•A good old conflict of interests without shady behind the scenes supernatural beings controlling everything. Anankos, you had great potential, but once again, no. I saw someone comment on a post once saying that even tho they enjoyed Awakening and Fates, the next Fire Emblem game should have human enemies exclusively and I concur. Risen and Faceless, you were fun, but it's about time we call it quits for you guys. I highly doubt IntSys will get rid of this type of enemy but I still think it'd be great to have a story with less supernatural elements? Just cuz especially with Fates I think that a lot was sacrificed in order to introduce and justify Valla's existence.

My friend and I, after two years of searching for the Japanese sub version, finally got to watch the Umasou “sequel” that was written and animated by a Korean team. We didn’t have HUGE hopes, but we were hoping to get a good Heart cameo out of it at least.

Let me just say that we were treated to the biggest writhing pile of tomfuckery I’ve ever gotten to experience theatrically. Animation got weird, there were strange plot choices.

Oh yeah, and a T-Rex fucking burns alive in a stream of molten lava right in plain view. No Disney off-screen death, you get to watch him get swallowed up by unforgiving lava.

I’m just all around disappointed, but at least I’ve got a dad character for this blog out of it.

Tegan and Sara have shared a video for “I Know I’m Not The Only One.” Press Release Tegan and Sara unveil a brand-new video for “I Know I’m Not The Only One” as part of a 25-minute special on their YouTube channel.  The duo also announce the release of their Hey, We’re Just Like You (The Remixes) EP, out on Sire Records next Friday, August 7th. Aiolos is gearing up to take over the position of Grand Master of Sanctuary, and hasn't had as much time to spend with his friends. Saga has been taking too many missions, and it's left him tired and injured.

Aiolos steps away and takes a moment to take care of Saga. He doesn't dare push their relationship any further, because he values their friendship too much. Saga is much the same way, afraid to take the next step into the unknown.
