#side pairing: draco x astoria
dramioneasks · 2 months
Note
The fic starts with Draco & Hermione finally being together post war - Draco switched sides? (I think) they are together for a few years after but no matter how hard Draco tries he cannot get out of his marriage contract with Astoria. Hermione and him are heartbroken but they break up and Hermione moves to Germany? She's pregnant but doesn't tell him and Luna helps out with the baby? They re-meet years later when Draco is assigned to cracking a case where children are being experimented on.
Anyone?
Edit: Thanks!

DELICATE
pairings. theodore nott x fem!reader
synopsis. a night with the group makes you realize how much you want theo to be yours.
notes. this is a modern au!
Tumblr media
it was a regular weekend for you, everyone was sat in draco’s living room playing a game surrounding the table as everyone sat on the floor. of course you were sat by theo, your best friend since you could remember.
draco and blaise were currently yelling at each other or more of draco yelling at blaise that he was cheating. everyone held their cards in their hands watching the duo. you turned to theo who was leaning against the couch to see he was already looking at you.
he smiled at you, you took your chance to lean back on the couch beside him. he followed your every movement until you turned to him again, “how long do you think this will go on for?” he whispered into your ear since he was that close.
laughing quietly at his words you looked back to the two, “i don’t even know, last time it felt like hours.” you smiled before turning back to him, swearing you saw him glance at your lips before returning his eyes to yours.
you couldn’t remember the time when you felt different about him or when it became so hard to sit this close to him without thinking about kissing theo.
he also couldn’t remember— he actually could. he had a crush on you when the two of you were kids but it faded away through time until it came by one night when you were sleeping over at his house.
“okay, we’re calling it a night.” draco randomly said, both of you turned towards the two. “he’s only saying that because he’s losing.” blaise said earning a punch from draco causing everyone to laugh putting their cards down and standing up.
everyone said their goodbyes to each other getting in their cars, except for astoria who was staying with her boyfriend of course.
“what are you doing, theo?” you laughed as he started to walk with you, since you only lived on the other side of dracos house you only walked around the neighborhood to his house.
“walking you home.” theo shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal, it wasn’t until you didn’t see his car in dracos driveway.
looking back and forth between him and the house you wondered if he walked here, theo lived a little farther from you.
“did you walk here?” you questioned continuing to stand in your spot, theo walked towards you, “no, i took a cab.. can i stay with you tonight?” he grabbed your hand intertwining your hands, making you walk.
“of course.” you simply said, looking down at your hands. it wasn’t unusual. theo had always been touchy with you and as you grew it got worse, he always had to have some contact with you. when you asked him he responded with ‘you bring me comfort.” you had to turn away so he wouldn’t see the blush on your face.
the walk to your home was quiet besides the sound of your footsteps crunching on the ground, or the subtle sounds of cars passing by or when theo brought out a cigarette lighting it.
once you two arrived at your house, theo put out his cigarette. he held onto your hand as you opened your door until you both took off your shoes. he followed you into the kitchen where you were beginning to grab food from your pantry.
“want an—“ you were about to question him until turning around to see him tight in front of you, looking down at you. he smirked when he noticed you stopping your words. theo moved his hand to brush the hair out of your face tucking it behind your ear.
“theo..” whispering his name made his knees almost go weak, he whispered your name back as his heart hadn’t been beating out his chest, he hoped you couldn’t hear it.
he leaned down bringing his forehead against yours, you could feel his heavy breaths right against your face. was this real?
“i really want to kiss you, right now. i’ve been wanting to all night since you walked in with that pretty outfit on.” you felt your knees going weak at every word he spoke, leaning yourself against the counter. theo felt you do that causing him to turn his body in front of you all the way putting his hands around you on the counter, locking you in.
“please.” theo sighed at your words leaning down softly to capture your lips. your body relaxed fully as he brought his hands to the side your neck. you could taste the cigarette on his lips and the cherry from the snacks he was eating throughout the night.
the two of you pulled away for air with heavy breaths, you stared into each other’s eyes for however long, you didn’t really know. you were secretly pinching yourself.
“love, what are you doing?” theo had noticed you pinching the top of your thigh, he chuckled lightly when your eyebrows furrowed. he pointed his head downwards.
“nothing, what are you doing?” you questioned him remembering what just happened.
“just what i’ve been wanting to do for a while.” theo shrugged casually making you scoff lightly. there was no way this was actually happening, you studied his face as his hand stayed on the side of your face. his touch was soft as you searched for something in his eyes, you started to wonder what it would be like for him to be yours.
not thinking about it you leaned off the counter grabbing the back of his neck to bring him to your height, he smirked once your lips collided again.
this is all you’ve ever wanted and it was happening, he groaned when your fingers tugged at his hair, you smiled into the kiss when you heard it.
right now you were thinking about bringing him up to your room but that was too fast so you pulled away, he chased your lips with a laugh as he put his hand in the crook of your neck.
“um- do you want any food?” you questioned with a smile on your face, you felt him laugh onto your skin. your hands stayed on his neck waiting for an answer.
“yeah, but i’ll make it. i know you wanna shower.” theo pulled away from your neck turning you around after he kissed your lips lightly, you smiled turning away towards the stairs. turning around before walking all the way up to see him looking at you with a smile, a true smile.
theo watched you disappear up the stairs with a loving look, as you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face.

7 MINUTES - T . NOTT
Mature Content Ahead
Theodore Nott x F!Reader
Summary: *REQUESTED* During a late night with your friends, after a chaotic slytherin party - you all wind down in the boys dorms. After a while, a game is played with a twist, Who knows what'll happen in that small wardrobe.
Warnings: SMUT, Switch!Theo, Switch!Reader, Oral both F & M!Receiving, Breathplay, Dacryphillia
A/N: This isn't proof read, I apologise. I've been really busy with deadlines so writing may not be as good. I'm writing a good two part smut that'll come out soon!
You and Theodore are friends, and have been for years. You both harbour a small crush on one another but neither of you two know about the others crush - and neither do your friends, except Pansy.
Pansy knows every single secret that passes through Hogwarts. She knows everything about everyone and basically has hundreds of secrets at her disposal. Times like these, makes you grateful you guys are friends and not enemies.
After an infamous Slytherin party, which was chaotic as always. You all retreated up to the boys dorm and into Mattheo, Theodore and Enzo's shared dorm - much to Mattheo's dismay.
Mattheo stumbled over to his bed, crashing face first into the pillows, letting out a loud groan.
"I told you not to drink so much" Pansy scoffed, throwing a pillow harshly at him as she grabbed your hand and pulled you over to Enzo, who was sat on his bed.
You sat, giggling as you snuggled between Pansy and Enzo. The pair cuddling you from both sides.
"Why is it that the gay ones get the most action" Draco scoffed in our direction. Sitting beside Blaise on Theo's bed as Theo sat pratically ontop of Mattheo.
"Don't be upset Draco, we get more action that you" Pansy snickered.
"Fuck off" Draco scoffs.
At that moment Daphne, Luna, Astoria, Cedric and Hermione join. Hermione was particularly nervous being in the Slytherin common room, especially the fact her two best friends are Slytherin mega haters.
You and Pansy had adopted Hermione into your 'girlie' group after you heard abt issues between her and Ron, she needed some girly guidance and you guys were there.
"Mione!" You cheered, as she smiled seeing you as she walked over you both exchanging a hug.
"Nice to know your excited to see me Y/N" Astoria scoffed. You and Astoria were good friends, with her being Daphne's younger sister she was worried about bonding with people - but you two were like glue always having the best jokes together.
"Shut up Tori" You laughed.
Everyone sat down in huddles and exchanged light conversation. Mattheo pulled out his bong which got everyone looking at him. It wasn't long before everyone sat in a circle and was passing it around and basking in the 'chill vibes'.
You were sat inbetween Enzo and Astoria, giggling away at something Enzo had said. You felt eyes on you, and looked up to see Theo's dark piercing gaze looming over you. He had been looking at you all night, you noticed it and he knew you knew. But you both were too pussy to even make a move.
He turned away, putting a cigarette in his mouth, covering the end as he lit it with his lighter before taking the cigarette between his fingers, leaning back and exhaling up in the air. His arms tensed as he held his weight his muscles slightly prominent. Theo was the definition of a sleeper build, you didn't know for sure but what you had seen from his arms you had a suspicion.
"Alright!" Pansy slapped her hands together. "I think we should play a game. How about, kiss or tell~" She sang. Everyone laughing at her, a few groans sounding around the room.
"Kiss or tell?" Hermionie questioned.
Daphne giggled at her as she sat back on Blaises lap, "Its where someone asks you kiss or tell, you choose and if it's kiss- we spin the bottle and whoever it lands on you kiss OR tell, you have to answer a truth question". Hermione nodded.
"Okay... I'll start Kiss or Tell.. Enzo" Pansy smiled to Enzo.
"Tell because I know you want some secrets" Enzo smirked.
"I always do, now.. Is it true you hooked up with Pucey and Wood in the same night" Everyone's head snapped to Enzo hearing the same rumour had been circulating Hogwarts for a few weeks.
"Yes and No? I did hook up with Pucey and Wood in the same night but it was also Fred Weasley too" He smirked. Everyone laughing at his response.
"You whore!" Draco laughed.
"I always knew you were sneaky" Mattheo looked at Enzo.
"Is that why I had to sleep on the fucking common room couch?" Theo scoffed.
Everyone laughed due to Theo's confession. The game went on a few more times, Draco choosing to kiss Blaise, Blaise admiring he blocked the toilet, Cedric and Enzo kissing, Pansy and Luna kissing, Hermione and Daphnne kissing, Enzo and You kissing which then brings you back to Enzo again.
"OK OK.. Astoria, Kiss or Tell?"
"Kiss duh!" She said as she pushed her hair back from her shoulders.
"Kiss... Mattheo" Enzo span the bottme, watching as it landed on Mattheo, he smirked. Only you, Pansy and Enzo knew of Astoria's mini crush on Mattheo.
You hid your mouth behind your hand as he grinned. Her eyes shooting daggers towards you and Enzo.
"Pucker up, sugar tits" Mattheo sighed as he watched Astoria get up from her spot.
"Shut up Mattheo" She groaned as she crouched before him, placing her hand on his shoulder as she kissed him.
Whopping sounded through the room as the pair kissed, after a few moment they pulled away- surprisingly both very red.
"Mattheo are you hard" Theo teased him, earning a massive smack over the head. "Ow! Fuck!"
You giggled slightly as Theo, rubbed the back of his head, looking up at you.
"Actually, I wanna change the rules because that was cruel!" She smirked as she rubbed her chin, staring directly at you. "Y/N" She cooed.
You stared at her blankly. "7 minutes" everyone sounded intruiged. "In the wardrobe with... Theodore" Astoria didn't know about your crush on Theo. Only Pansy but you froze when she said his name.
"Interesting pairing Tori" Blaise quirked.
"Very interesting actually, I didn't expect that" Cedric looked to Enzo, him nodding along.
You stood up, darting your eyes over to Pansy who had a devilish grin.
"While your both in there we will play Spin the bottle!" Astoria clasped her hands. You turned your head away from her and was faced with a chest. Theo's chest as he stood infront of you. You froze for a moment but he took your wrist and guided you over to the slightly walk in wardrobe. The pair of you pulled the door to the side as you stepped in, closing the door.
"Seven minutes!" Astoria yelled and that's the last thing you heard before shut.
"Why would she change the game" You scoffed, leaning against the wall.
"Very Astoria, flippy-floppy as always" He laughed. The small light in the room, lighting up his face slightly but it was still quiet dark. The pair of you leaning against opposite walls as you looked at eachother. Despite being on other sides it was a small wardrobe. His leg was pratically sandwiched between yours as you both cramped in here. Theo was like 6'1 and you were like 5'6 so the height difference was a bit.
"Its so cramped in here" You moved slightly, looming up to see Theo right above you. This was a very uncomftable situation and you were getting hot. "Its quite hot in here-" You awkwardly laughed as you fanned yourself.
Theo smirked down at you, noticing your very prominent cheeks. He had an ideas, he wanted to test- it was either now or never. He lifted his leg slightly between yours rubbing his thigh against your core as yiu squeaked. "Sorry, its quite tight-"
Your face reddened, your mind was plagued with dirty thoughts as you let out a shaky laugh. "Its ok-" You croaked.
"Fuck my life, your oblivious" Theo groaned as he placed a hand on your neck, crashing his lips against yours. You froze for a moment which caused Theo to pull away. Before he could say anything you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him back as your lips hit eachothers. This is all you wanted, was to kiss Theo.
Theo's free hand slid down your waist and around to your ass as he squeezed it slightly. You gasped at the motion which he took as an invitation to shove his tonguebin your mouth. The two of you were making out for what felt like forever before you both pulled away panting.
You stared at him, his face just millimeteres from yours. You can feel eachothers breath on one another. You saw his lips curl into a smirk as he pecked your lips once more before latching his mouth to your neck. It took you off guard and you let out a soft squeak as you leaned your head back. His lips were attacking your neck, nibbling and sucking but not enough to leave a prominent hickey which you were grateful. He moved further down towards your chest before stopping and looking up at you. You smiled down at him and he took that as permission as he reached round and unzipped your strapless dress, watching as it fell from your body revealing your extremely bare breasts.
"One piece of fabric covering these.. Fuck me" He smirked, kissing towards your breast before latching his mouth onto them, sucking the skin softly as he groped the other one with his hand. You let out soft shaky moans, gripping his hair tightly as you leaned your head back.
"Fuck- Teddy" you sighed, you could feel his smirk against your skin as he pulled away, dropping to his knees as he pushed you up against the folding door. It rustled for a moment but you were too invested in Theo. He bit and sucked at your thighs, definitely leaving marks here as he moved closer and closer to your core. His fingers hooking on the sides of your panties as he looked up at you.
"May I?" You nodded as he smiled, pulling tour panties down slowly as you quickly stepped out of them and he tucked them in his pocket. "Going to keep these, a little trophy"
Before you could protest his hand pushed your stomach as you leaned back against the door, your hands tangled in his hair as you peered down at him.
"Don't worry Bella, I'm a master" He smirked as he tapped your thigh for you to spread your legs before diving in head first.
You yelped, gripping at his hair as you leaned back, nibbling at your lip to hold your moans in. You gasped as you felt his tongue move inside of you, his nose rubbing against your clit as he ate you out.
You were entranced in heaven. Theo lifted one of your legs onto his shoulder to get a deeper angle, you really were in heaven. You tugged his hair as you let out soft moans, being careful not to be too loud.
"Fuck!" Your body betraying you as you slapped a hand over your mouth quickly as you grinded down on his face. Your eyes rolling in pleasure as he tongue moved lyrically against your folds. Like he was singing a song. The way he swirled and flicked had you nearly on the floor, if it wasn't for him and the door supporting you.
You gasped loudly as you whimpered out tugging his hair before throwing your head back and cumming all over his face. You panted heavily, your hand still over your mouth as you stood out of breath.
Theo pulled away, putting your leg down as he smirked, licking his lips as he stood up to look at you. "Taste perfect"
You gulped as you looked up at him.
"I love how you're still nervous, you're cute. Now taste yourself" He smiled as he kissed you softly once again. His hands gripping your hips as he pulled you closer. You could feel his clothed boner rubbing against your stomach as you gulped.
"Mhm.. Cute" He smiled as he pulled away. Theo didn't expect anything from you which was a huge change. He wanted to pleasure you and that's that- but you wanted to pleasure him.
You took his wrist looking at his watch. 4 minutes. You flicked your hair back as you settled onto your knees. Theo looking down at your questionably as you tugged at his trousers.
"Oh- Bella you don't have to-"
"Shh, I want to" You smiled, yanking off his belt, dropping it to the floor as you unbuttoned his trousers, yanking them down.
His throbbing erection directly infront of you in his boxers. You took a deep breath before yanking down his boxers, as they dropped to his ankles. Watching as his dick sprung out. You stared up at him in disbelief due to the size. You hasn't been with anyone this big before.
"You think you can take it, Principessa" He smirked as he caressed your cheek.
"I can try" You chuckled, pumping him a few times before licking the tip softly. His bottle lip instantly retracting into his mouth as he bit the flesh. You worked on getting him excited, licking up his length and swirling your tongue around the tip as you listened to his gasps and sighs above.
After a small amount of teasing you took the first few inches into your mouth. Sucking softly as you used your hands to satisfy the rest. Soft moans left his mouth as his hand collected your hair and yanked it into a ponytail.
"Fuck- your so hot" He sighed.
You take a few more inches, bobbing your head up and down at this point as you gripped his thigh. After getting used to it you took him in whole. You gagged slightly at first but continued to swirl your tongue around his whole length as you moved your head up and down against it. Theo's soft whines leaving his lips as he leaned back, panting heavily.
"Fuck yes.. More" He whimpered out as he pleaded to you. You didn't know you needed to see a submissive Theodore till now.
You continued to work your magic, popping his dick out your mouth as you licked and sucked the side before deep throwing yet again. The moans and whines from him as he hit your throat were amazing. You snaked your free hand that wasn't gripping his thigh down between your legs and you rubbed your clit. Grinding down against it as you hummed, bobbing your head. He was making you feel good all over and it was driving you insane.
"Fuck- Y/N- I can't hold back.. Fuck im sorry" He yelped as he gasped, gripping your hair tightly as he began to fuck into your mouth. It didn't take you completely off guard as you prepared for it. Your eyes rolled slightly as he continuesly hit the back of your throat, light gags coming from you as you slid your finger past your folds and inside of you as you fucked yourself.
Theo's breathless moans and whines sounded the wardrobe as he growled as he fucked into your throat harshly. Tears streaming down your face as your hand gripped harder on his thigh.
"Yes, take it like the slut you are hmm.. your a slut for me right" You hummed loudly as you sobbed with his cock full in your mouth.
"Love it, when cry for me" He smirked, watching as tears fell down your face. His pace speeding up at the sight.
You needed to tap out it was too much for you, you pushed your finger inside you once more before you came all over it, quickly pulling you as you gripped his thighs tightly aa his pace sped. You gaged quite loudly as tears poured from your eyes. Theo pulled out quickly for a moment, jerking himself off harshly as he took your head in his hand. "Yiu ok- Fuck" He moaned as he panted, his dick twitching in his fist.
You coughed slightly, before wiping your mouth and eyes looking up at him nodding.
"Good girl- Ah.. fuck- stick out your tongue" He groaned, as he watched you stick your tongue out staring up at him. His thrusts his hand roughly over his dick as he let out a deep groan as his body jerked as he came on your face, but mostly in your mouth.
You swallowed it all, before licking your lips and wiping some off your cheek and sucking your finger. You stood up looking up at him and smiling as he smiled softly at you, with a fucked out expression.
He leaned against the wall panting heavily as his hand was over his eyes. "Fuck- I can't even see straight" He laughed. You giggled, taking his wrist checking the time and seeing 1 minute.
You pulled your dress back on, zipping it up as you pulled Theo's phone from his jeans, fixing your makeup in the minimal light.
"You got me fucked up" He laughed, pulling up his boxers and jeans and buckling his belt before wiping his face over and ruffling his hair.
"Good, and I'd happily do it again" You smirked, flattening your hair out as the two of you now look widely presentatable.
Just in the moment you heard a mumble before light pours into the wardrobe as the door is ripped open. You squinted adjusting to the light, everyone looking at the pair of you.
"What! I wanted to catch them fucking or something" Mattheo scoffed.
"Boring, I would've been so down for that" Astoria groaned.
"We just spoke, there's nothing else to do" You shrugged, walking back to the group. Pansy's eyes like daggers on you and Theo as she scanned you both. You'd nearly gotten away with it until you turned towards Daphne who was sat next to her to reply and she saw the dark bite mark on your thigh just under your dress.
"Gotcha" She smirked to you and you looked at her clueless. You sat back down in your seat opposite Theo as the two of you smiled to one another.
You'd be doing this again sometime soon...

IT WAS A SATURDAY MORNING LIKE ANY OTHER, the many hallways in the castle were filled with only a few students roaming them unlike at the start of the year. some students were sat in the great hall whilst others were lingering near their common room. y/n was sat across from hermione both their noses deep in the story of the book infront of them. the library was quite relaxing on cold days like these. although it may have looked like y/n had her entire attention dedicated to the book infront of her she couldn't stop thinking about how quickly the yule ball was approaching. she was still left without a date whilst most had already chosen someone or got chosen. even hermione had left her to sorrow alone in the search for a dance partner. it wasn't like y/n wasn't asked, actually she was asked quite a few times but declined all of them waiting for that one boy.
she shouldn't rely on a boy she knew that but what could she do she was head over heels for her bestfriend. and almost like the blonde could hear her thoughts from the other side of the castle, he made his way up to her as she was walking back from the library, a book tightly in her grasp.
„l/n“ draco spoke making the girl turn around to see him not far behind her. she smiled at the sight of her friend as the conversations they shared always brought her joy.
„malfoy“ she spoke turning her head back as he walked beside her now. the curiosity inside her was wondering about what he would want or need.
„i was wondering if you could accompany me to the yule ball?“ she looked at him as if she didn’t hear him correctly. the girl couldn’t believe what the boy had just asked. she hid the shock behind a proud her smirk thinking of what she should say next.
„and why should i go with you?“ she said stopping in the middle of the corridor now giving her full attention.
„well, there are many reasons.“ he spoke standing proudly with his hands showed in the front pockets of his black trousers.
„oh really, and what would those be?“ she asked him, intrigued in his answer.
„well, for example because i am draco malfoy, the slytherin prince and you, my dear lady shall accompany me to the ball. and well we both don’t have a date“ draco explained.
draco was right she didn’t have a date and going with draco was what she dreamed of since the ball had first been announced by mcgonagall.
„sure“ she spoke wandering off but not before giving him a slight smirk which he returned.
as she wandered off the smile she had been trying to keep off her face for a while now had won and took place on the lower part of her face.
the next possible day she along with hermione and ginny went to look for dresses to wear in hogsmeade. hermione had found a fluttery dress that had a few different pink shades. ginny picked out a light pink and green one. and y/n found a similar version to hermiones in a light blue color. on the day of the yule ball the three of them did eachothers hair. y/n felt as if she could throw up she was so nervous.
the moment she walked down the stairs she shared eye contact with hermione for reassurance. before looking at draco who had a smirk plastered across his face making the girl smile. as she reached the last step draco made his way over to her putting his arm out for her to hold on which she gladly did.
everything was going great, draco had gotten them drinks, they danced and most importantly laughed together. as y/n and draco made their way of the dance floor, she took a glance over at the table the patil twins were sitting with harry and ron. none of them looked amused which made the girl slightly frown at them locking eyes with harry as he gave her a smile, making her return it.
„you having fun?“ draco spoke making y/n turn her attention to him.
„yeah, you?“ she asked him as a way to keep to the conversation going. the blonde nodded looking at her. as the girl turned her head back towards the table to see all of them gone but hearing yelling outside of the great hall although no one else seemed to mind it. she didn’t want to leave draco by himself but her curiosity took the best of her.
„i‘ll be right back“ y/n spoke to draco laying her hand on his arm. he nodded not seeming to mind it, wrapped up in a conversation with one of his friends. as she made her way out of the hall she was met with a crying hermione in the middle of the stairs.
„oh mione, what happened?“ y/n said not believing the state of her bestfriend, quickly rushing up to her to take her place next to her on the stairs wrapping an arm around her for comfort. hermione tried to explain but instead her friend stopped her and insisted they should leave. „i don’t want to ruin your night“ the crying girl spoke. „it’s okay, i‘ll be right back i‘ll just tell draco that i‘m leaving ok?“ y/n spoke as her friend nodded, tears still streaming down her face.
as y/n went back into the great hall searching for draco she found him cuddling up to astoria greengrass, they were laughing. it felt like his hands were all over her, no longer being able to take what was happening infront of her she left. she felt like crying.
'keep it together y/n, hermione is more important now, you can mourn later' y/n thought. quickly grabbing the gryffindor girl by her hand and walking with her to the gryffindor common room.
after 3 hours of comforting and crying hermione finally felt better and y/n left to go to her dormitory. as she arrived in her dorm she realised no one had been there yet so she switched out of her dress throwing it onto the chair next to her and changing into her comfort clothes. as she laid down in her bed, she was almost drowning in her thoughts.
she realised that draco didn’t seem as if he saw it in romantic way to go to the yule ball with his childhood friend. how could she have been so blind all this time? he didn’t want her, he was only being friendly. that night the h/c haired girl cried herself to sleep. her aching heart swarming her thoughts.
the next day she woke up her eyes slightly swollen from the events of yesterday. she slipped into her h/h robes and tied her up. grabbing her books on the way out along with her wand slipped in the inside pocket of her robes. as she reached snapes classroom she took her place next to hermione, who had a slight frown on her face which changed into a smile when she saw the h/h girl.
„morning“ hermione said, y/n muttering a small 'hi' in return. „how have you been?“ hermione spoke softly, not wanting to raise attention to the conversation.
„what are you talking about?“ y/n asked not knowing what the gryffindor was talking about. „you know because you had to leave“ hermione replied. „good. you?“ y/n continued. „could be better“ hermione answered with a chuckle. making the pair let out a few chuckles but y/n stopped as soon as she saw 'the slytherin prince' who sent a smirk her way which she didn’t return. after class he waited infront of the classroom for her but she ignored him. the entire time she ignored him.
she loves him but her heart ached because of him,
HE HAD LEFT HER BEHIND.

Three months ago today, he had your heart on a plate. You ate takeout on the floor, you gave the world to him and more.
As you saw Draco enter with his new girlfriend, you felt nothing but rage. You were such a perfect girlfriend and yet he decided to leave forever for something that won't even last.
"It took him a minute. To rip us up in a minute. To say he's done with committing." You said loudly enough for Draco and his new girlfriend to hear.
Draco sighed as he heard those words, knowing for well they were about him.
"Jesus Christ just move on already." Draco mumbled under his breath but you heard him.
"Oh, don't you think I'm trying." You said, offended by the audacity he had to say that.
As the rest of the common room burst into chatter, you sat there, observing Draco: how he talked to her, gave her time like he never did to you.

"I lost my friends, took his side! Had his back cause I thought he had mine. That was then, I was wrong." You said to Pansy as you entered your dorm that you shared with her.
"Hello Pansy! Hello y/n! Nice to see you! Nice to see you too!" Pansy mocked annoyed at the lack of introduction.
"Pansy, you know there's no time for introductions right now." You said glaring at her.
"Ok fine! What did he do now?" Pansy asked.
"What did he do? WHAT DID HE DO? WELL I DON'T KNOW PANSY, HE'S DONE A LOT OF THINGS! FOR STARTERS, HE PLAYED ME! THEN HE BROKE UP WITH ME AND MADE IT SEEM LIKE MY FAULT. THEN HE GOT TOGETHER WITH THE ONE GIRL WHO EVERYONE HATES." You half shouted at Pansy.
"Not many people hate Astoria." Pansy replied.
"That's what you got out of this?" You glared at Pansy, your voice dripping with annoyance and anger all together.
"Ok, what do you want me to do about it?" She asked.
"Well for starters you should- well that and- I have no idea." You said looking for an excuse to involve Pansy but failing miserably.
"Exactly. You're digging in this too much. You two are over. You need to enjoy your life." Pansy said.
"That's the first smart thing I've heard you say Pansy! Thanks!" You replied.
"No problem- wait what?!" Pansy pouted looking offended.

You hoped that he'd find someone that he trusts. And he gives all his darkest secrets up. And then you hoped they break his heart in two.
"Hope she does a you to you to you to you to you." You mumbled under your breath as you saw him enter with Astoria.
"Still on him?" Theo asked seeing you stare at him.
"No way!" You replied.
"What he did was pretty shit. You deserve better." He said smiling at you.
"I shouldn't be surprised, he's not the 'meet the parents' type, he said he needed me, wanted to be with me, just didn't want his friends to see." You said as you glared daggers at him.
"Wow what a liar. What else did he say?" Pansy joined in on your conversation.
"Well, he said I was different. But I wasn't different, I was just a girl he said he loved. Now I wish that I'd listened." You said.
And you lost your friends. Took his side. Had his back cause you thought he had yours. That was then. You were wrong.

"oh great there she is. She's so obsessed with me." Draco said to Astoria as you stared at you.
"I hope that you finds someone that you trust. And you give all your darkest secrets up. And then I hope she breaks your heart in two. Hope she does a you to you, to you, to you, to you. I hope you give her everything you got. And she tells you you're special when you're not. And then I hope she breaks your heart in two. Hope she does a you to you, to you, to you, to you." You murmured glaring at him, indicating just what he had gotten himself into.

"I know I'm being bitter but my letters didn't get through to him. Knocked out both my owls oh look at that I guess it's two for two (sorry I couldn't come up with anything better ☠️)." You stated to Pansy angrily.
"He also might've sort of called you a psycho to all of us." Pansy said nervously.
"Calling me a psycho to our friends and that's not news to me. Wish it was, but honestly that's just so him. He should keep in mind that there's nothing I do better than revenge." You said angrily.
(yes a Taylor swift reference)

"I heard you've been talking about me behind my back." Draco says. "Care to tell me what you've been saying?"
"It's none of your business." You said death staring him.
"It appears to me that it is very much my business. You're talking about me and for all I know, your pathetic self could be spreading rumours just as pathetic as you." He said surprisingly calmly.
"oh you wanna know? Here. This is what I've been saying." You began.
"Y/n no! You're better than this." Pansy stated. But it was too late. She should've known it was too late.
"I hope you think you've finally found the one. Then she fucks you over just for fun. Cause then maybe you'll realise what you do. Hope she does a you to you." You continued. Draco gave you a look as if daring you to continue.
"So I hope that you find someone that you trust and you give all your darkest secrets up. And then I hope she breaks your heart in two. Hope she does a you to you, to you, to you, to you, to you. Oh I hope she, yeah, I hope, I hope she breaks your heart."
"You don't mean that." He said seemingly unamused.
"Baby, oh you know I hope she does." You said shocked by his audacity.
And you hoped she would.
You hoped she would.

Meeting in the Middle
Summary: After being released from Azkaban, Draco returns home to his wife, but the afflictions casted on him during his imprisonment follow close behind.
Pairing: Astoria x Draco
Word Count: 3,376
Warning: PTSD from Azkaban
-
Astoria sighed as she leaned against the pillow behind her back, tugging the sheets up her chest. Beside her, the bed dipped as Draco turned from his stomach to his back, his hand bumping her hip. She peaked at his clothed chest; before Azkaban, he typically slept shirtless. Five weeks after his release, he had yet to remove his clothes in front of her.
She narrowed her eyes, trying to adjust her sight in the dimly lit room. His lips were moving, and she realized he was talking, so low that she couldn’t hear.
“Draco?” she asked sleepily, sitting up to grasp her wand. She flicked it, and the candles on the bedside tables lit. The dim light wafted over them, revealing his clenched knuckles, the beads of sweat that clung to his forehead and the damp center of his shirt. His knee jerked, eyebrows puckering. “Sweetheart,” she murmured softly, carefully. “It’s okay, it’s just me. You’re okay.”
His jaw clenched, eyes still shut, and Astoria nudged him softly. This was not the first nightmare he had experienced since his return home. The first time he had jolted awake in bed, his screams so loud she thought the glass of the windows would break. Another time he had sobbed until he awoke, clinging to her, begging her not to leave him.
Astoria had quickly learned that the best way to help him was ease him back into reality. From the little he told her, he dreamt of the punishments he endured while a prisoner. She tried not to ponder too much on the pain he must’ve experienced, pain so harsh he dreamt about it.
“Please, I didn’t have a choice,” he mumbled, his voice breaking. “P-please, not the pit.”
Astoria swallowed thickly, glancing at the doors and wondering if she should call Granger. She was better equipped to deal with this trauma, considering the fact that after the war she became a mind healer, Hermione Granger was, simply put, better at everything. Her friend would know what to do, how to help.
Pushing the comforter off her legs quietly, Astoria moved to Draco’s side of the bed, brushing the wet hair out of his face. Draco loved her touches, craved physical contact from her ever since they’d married. She carded her fingers through his hair, hoping it would relax him. She sat on the edge of the bed, moving her digits down his face, but his breathing remained harsh, ragged.
“Darling, please wake up,” she hummed. “You’re safe.”
Draco gritted his teeth, his head dipping to one side harshly, and a tear slid down his porcelain skin. His head shook rapidly, knuckles white against the sheets. “Stop, please,” he begged, his nightmares holding him hostage. “Please, stop.”
Astoria sighed, standing and moving towards the bathroom where she grabbed a cloth, running it under the water. She flicked the faucet of the bathtub and allowed it to slowly fill. As she straightened, she heard the springs of the mattress dip, a stomping noise echoing from their room. turning, she saw Draco standing, his back to her, his shirt sticking to his skin.
“Sweetheart, are you alright?” She tried to keep the fear out of her voice.
Draco stiffened, turning slowly until he was looking in her direction, but his eyes were glued to the floor, at her feet.
Astoria tried again, wishing her heart would stop beating so fast. “Are you alright?”
Stepping slowly, she exited the bathroom, leaning against the door frame. In an instant, Draco threw himself to the floor, his knees hitting the carpet with a sickening thud, hands clasped together as if he were praying.
“Please don’t,” he whispered through shaking breaths. “Don’t send me to the Dementors. Please, I’ll do anything you want, please.”
Astoria hoped her heartbreak wasn’t visible on her face.
Draco was awake, but not really. The horrors he had witnessed in Azkaban blurred the lines between the past and present, and now, he was stuck somewhere in the past. Somewhere dark and cold, plagued by abuse and Dementors.
Astoria knew she just had to wait, that truly was all she could do. Granger had expressed to her the dangers of startling him, telling her she just needed to wait it out, go along with it, become whoever he thought she was.
But it was breaking her heart to watch.
“You’re not going to the pit, Malfoy,” she said carefully, trying to remove emotion from her voice, trying to make herself sound like a prison guard. She held her hand up, showing her fingers, then gingerly placed them atop his clenched hands. His back stiffened, and his eyes were hollow with fear, dropping to her feet.
After a moment filled with heavy, ragged breathing, Draco lifted his head, and she met his gray eyes swarming with a panic she was unfamiliar with. He clenched his jaw, mulling over her words. “B-but Scrimgeour said that--“
“Pay Scrimgeour no mind,” Astoria interrupted. “Do you know your name?”
Draco nodded, his shoulders shaking, clasped hands now fallen to his lap. “Malfoy, Draco. Son of the traitor Malfoy, Lucius.”
Astoria nodded. She wondered why he had added the bit about his father. She bitterly realized that they must’ve made him say it to embarrass him, shame him anytime he was addressed.
She swiped at her eyes, hiding the tears that had formed. His skin was flushed, the hollow of his cheeks pink and hair damp with sweat.
“Please stand and come with me,” she requested, watching with her heart in her throat as Draco dragged himself to his feet, his legs shaking, barely able to hold him. He was a good few feet taller than her, and she had to strain to look up at him. She caught his eye, and he looked away quickly. She took a deep breath, pushing the bathroom door open wider and beckoned him to follow. Gripping the handle, she turned the water off, and beckoned to it.
“Can you tell me if that's too hot?” she asked.
Draco looked between her and the water, hesitant. Then he reached forward, dipping his hand into it. Astoria dipped her own hand in near his and he flinched horribly, causing some water to spill out and splash on her nightgown.
“I’m sorry, I'm so sorry,” Draco whispered, extracting his hand and wrapping his arms around himself, sucking in a harsh breath.
Astoria had nearly forgotten the second biggest tool the guards used in Azkaban aside from fear; pain. He was afraid he’d angered her, and in turn that she’d hurt him.
“We’re going to give you a bath, alright?” she told him, waiting for his reaction. Holding up her hands again so he could see them, she then reached forward, gripping his own lightly. “Would that be okay?”
Draco said nothing, staring at her with wide eyes and she sighed internally, slipping her hand from his and stalking to the bathroom closet. She grabbed the vanilla scented bubble bath and popped the cap off before pouring a stream into the filled tub. Vanilla was her favorite scent, and in turn had become Draco's favorite, too. He had told her it reminded him of her, of home. She hoped that it could jog his memory of her and of himself.
“I’m going to step outside. You remove your clothing and get in, okay?” she instructed.
But before she could leave, Draco quickly pulled off his clothing, folding them into a pile and setting them by the tub's edge. He stood naked in front of her with a numb expression on his face, and she had to bite back a sob. He was used to this, being forced to strip for someone that was far less kind than her. Astoria couldn’t stop from hugging herself, trying to keep her breaking pieces at bay and his cheeks flushed red. They must’ve humiliated him like this, stripped him of more than just his clothing, and it enraged her.
She took a breath, calming herself, before giving him a tight smile. “Would you like to get in?” she asked, and Draco turned to face the tub.
They had spent so many hours in that tub, washing one another or kissing until kissing wasn’t enough, and soon they needed a second shower. They’d read in it together, talked about their day, and spent their anniversary in it.
Draco stepped into the tub slowly, sinking into the water and letting his arms rest on the rim. His eyes flicked rapidly between her and the water as she created a lather between her fingers, resting on the rim beside him.
“How does that feel?” she asked, then held up her soapy hands. “I'm going to wash your hair, okay?” Washing his hair was something he’d always found comforting, and she hoped repeating the action might help him find his way back.
Draco narrowed his eyes but didn’t reply, staying still as her hands worked in his hair. Cupping her fingers, she dribbled water over his head, washing the suds away, the only sound in the bathroom was the splashing of water.
“It’s okay to speak your mind here, prisoner,” Astoria whispered, hating every word that exited her mouth. “No one will hurt you here.”
Steam wafted up from the water, fogging the mirrors over the sink and warming the air. She inhaled, shutting her eyes for a moment as the vanilla entered her nose.
“Why are you washing me?”
Astoria opened her eyes, unsure of how to answer his question without popping a hole in his reality.
But he cut her off, his voice shaking. “I’ve gone months without bathing in this hell site and suddenly you want me clean? The other guards don’t care if I'm clean. They don’t even treat me like a person.”
She opened her mouth, still at a loss but hoping something will come to her. When she didn’t respond, he continued in a quick and fearful voice. “The Dementors kill me, but I'm still alive. It feels like they want to kill me, and you’re asking if I’m okay? Who are you?”
He was breathing heavily, his fingers shaking against the porcelain, and Astoria felt helpless as she stared back at him.
Draco's eyes went wide, the realization of his words hitting him, and drops his gaze to the tub rim. “I-I’m sorry,” he whispered, dragging his knees close to his chest. “I’ll keep quiet. Forgive me.”
“Don’t apologize, sweetheart,” Astoria whispered, the term of endearment exiting her mouth before she could stop it. “You have nothing to be sorry for.”
Draco gave her a quizzical look but said nothing, his silver blonde brows pulled together.
“I’m not going to hurt you, ever. Can you tip your head back so I can wash your hair?” She gestured to his posture. Reluctantly, Draco nodded, moving his head and Astoria dipped her hand into the water, bringing it up to his hair. She repeated the action again and again, notching as Draco's eyes fluttered closed in light relaxation. “You're safe with me, I promise.”
Her fingers trailed on his scalp, his hair slicking back as she moved. He looked so young, so different from the man she had married, and more like the Draco that she went to school with. She began to massage his head, trailing down to his neck and the tops of his shoulder.
“Relax, Draco,” she hummed, continuing the movement. “Try to relax.”
Her eyes flicked over his face, taking in his peaceful expression. It felt like it’d been years since she'd seen him like that, void of anguish.
“I have a question,” Draco whispered, snapping her back to the present, his eyes still closed. “If I may.”
Astoria swilled before answering, clearing her throat, giving him a small smile. “Of course you can.”
“Why are you so kind?” His eyes opened, staring at her with curiosity and a dash of fear. “To me, I mean. I-I don’t…deserve it.”
Her throat burned and she swallowed again, trying to keep the smile on her face even as her heart aches for him. “You don’t deserve pain, Draco,” she said, voice low. “You're a human being.”
“The Dementors would disagree with you,” he replied, eyes darting around nervously.
Astoria took a deep breath, hoping the burning ache within her chest would settle, and smiled at him once more. “I know you’re probably a little confused right now,” she said, her hands dripping more water into his hair. “And that's okay. You’ll find yourself again and work your way back, so it's okay to be a little confused at the moment.”
He looked dazed, nodding slowly, his eyelids growing heavy. She ran her hands against his scalp, scratching lightly, the way she knew he liked, and his eyes closed, the exhaustion etched into his face. Once she finished, she opened the drain, grabbing him a towel before holding it out to him. He slowly took it from her, beginning to dry himself. Astoria exited the bathroom in search of fresh linens, returning with his soft cottons, finding Draco standing rigidly in front of the mirror, staring daggers at his reflection.
“Come along,” she said, holding her hand out, feigning more confidence than she felt. “Let's get dressed.”
Draco stared at himself for a few more moments before finally turning away, his eyes on the floor, taking the clothes from Astoria and putting them on quickly. She focused her gaze on the now empty tub, hoping to give him some sort of privacy. He straightened once dressed, towering over her with a sullen expression, and she slipped her hand into his, slowly leading him back to his side of the bed. She motioned for him to lay down, and as he did, a yawn escaped his mouth.
Walking over to the opposite side, astoria slid into her side of the bed, pulling the sheets up around them but not tucking them in; she didn't want him to feel trapped. Draco sighed as she moved, watching her through sleepy eyes.
“Go to sleep, darling,” she whispered, laying on her side to look at him. Draco cocked his head so he could see her face, taking in her expression. “I’ll be here when you wake.” She reached up slowly, tracing the lines of his face with the tips of her fingers. His eyes fluttered shut, relaxing under her touch, and she repeated the action until his gentle snores filled the silence.
Astoria shifted, laying on her back, surprising herself at the tears that pooled at her eyes as she stared up into the darkness. A cry bubbled at the back of her throat and she covered her mouth with her hands, muffling the sob, brushing her tears away quickly as they came. She took a breath, letting it out slowly, before scooting closer to his sleeping form, wanting to feel his warmth. Draco shifted, his arm looping around her, tugging her to him as she listened carefully to his snores, his heartbeat thrumming easily. She let out a breath, blinking away the remaining tears as she waited for sunrise.
- Astoria felt gentle prodding across her face and arm, goosebumps rising in the wake of the pressure as she flicked her eyes open. Gray irises met hers, a gentle smile on Draco's face as he watched her. His hair was only lightly damp, the majority of it dry. The movement of his fingers massaging her arms retracted, and he tucked his hand beneath the pillow, lying on his stomach with the majority of his face hidden in the softness.
“I’m so sorry, my love,” Draco hummed.
Astoria watched his feeble gaze dart from her face to her hands, to the sheets that wrapped around them. He was still scared, still slightly disoriented, but the love in his eyes told her he was back.
Astoria sat up, scooted closer and pressed a kiss to his outer shoulder, her lips soft against his skin.
“Hi, darling.” She settled back into the mattress beside him, hand reaching out and rubbing up and down his back, fingers drawing stars on his spine. “How much do you recall?”
“Just enough to know I hurt you.” He sighed, relaxing under her touch.
Astoria shook her head, wet her lips. “No,” she whispered, giving a shake of her head. “You didn’t hurt me, Draco.”
“But I scared you,” he took a deep breath, shutting his eyes in shame. “I don't know which is worse.”
“I just worry, that's all,” she replied. “I just wanted to help.”
Draco nodded, swallowing audibly. “I know…and you did. Merlin knows what I would’ve done without you.”
Astoria gave him a tender smile, but said nothing, knowing he needed to divulge more, that there was more he needed to say.
“I forgot you, Tori. B-but I knew…you wouldn’t hurt me.” Reaching for her, he grasped her fingers, bringing them to his lips and kissed them lightly. “These hands provide nothing but goodness.”
Astoria smiled once more, her hand squeezing his gently before moving forward and placing a chaste kiss to his lips. The kiss was easy, filled with so much adoration and endearment, the qualities he needed in order to carry on. She knew he was tired, the weight of the war and Voldemort and the Malfoy name becoming too heavy for him to carry alone. They melted into it, fingers curling into his hair, lips brushing over one another, nails scratching his hairline. After a few moments Draco pulled back, shifting to lay on his back and pulling her with him. She pressed contentedly into his side, her face laying against his chest. His arms were around her, fingers running quietly up and down her arm.
“I’m going to pay Granger a visit,” he said after a moment. “These night terrors…they aren’t getting better. Merlin knows how long you’ll be able to put up with it.”
Astoria craned her neck to look at him, confusion written on her face. “I’m your wife. I'm never giving up on you.”
Draco let out a low sigh, his fingers stalling on her skin. “Yes but…I forget you. That's enough to push anyone away, and rightfully so.”
Propping herself up on her elbow, Astoria glared at him in loving defiance. “Draco Malfoy, I love you more than I ever imagined loving someone. Everything you are, I love. Your past, your mistakes, every part of you. Your struggles don’t scare me, and they don’t define you.” She poked the side of his face gently. “So don’t let them.”
Gray eyes met her brown ones and he nodded slowly before Astoria leaned up and kissed his cheek. Settling against his chest once more, she wrapped an arm over his waist, tucking him to her.
“You're too good to me, Tori,” Draco whispered.
Astoria shook her head. Recovery was never an easy thing. She knew it took people years, decades. The guilt that had been injected into him since his adolescent years was something that would stick with him for a lifetime. It would take many ups and downs for him to work through it, but she didn't mind reminding him that he didn't have to do it alone.
“Do you think I'm a good thing?” Astoria asked, her arms holding him. Draco nodded, wordlessly answering. “You're allowed to have good things, Draco. Let me be good to you. You deserve some peace after everything that's happened.”
She knew that was the problem, really. No matter how many people like Granger and Potter and Nott that gave him their forgiveness, he would always lack forgiving himself. He didn't think he deserved peace, deserved her.
After a few moments, Draco took a deep breath, pressed his lips to her forehead. His skin was warm against hers, fingers holding her in place against him.
“Thank you, Tori,” he whispered into her hair. “For meeting me halfway.”
She curled against him, inhaling the scent of vanilla. “I’ll always meet you in the middle, my love,” she replied, pressing a kiss to his chest before she closed her eyes, eager to rest in his embrace.

"Babe, would you like to watch the stars tonight at the astronomy tower?" You wanted to have some fun with your beloved boyfriend, so you asked in a really cheerful and bright manner. You needed a break after your exams, and what could be better than going stargazing with Draco?
He frowned at you and said, "Oh, sorry dear, I have some work to do tonight. But once my work is over, we can," before approaching you and giving you a tender kiss on the forehead.
"Ughhh fineee," you replied as you held him, his hands on your waist and yours over his chest. However, something seemed very off about the hug; you knew he would never lie to you.
Leaving the tingling sensation inside of you, you went to the astronomy tower on your own and as you climbed the stairs, you thought back to the first time you met Draco, and the first time you spoke to him.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
You were enjoying the view of Hogwarts from the side of the astronomy tower with your legs dangling down when you heard light footsteps ascending the stairs. At first, you didn't mind the sound, but as you heard someone clearing their throat, you turned to see who it was and were startled to see grey cold eyes.
"Um, Hello Malfoy," you said as you then turned around to face the view in front of you when Draco said, "I would like you to leave" "Who are you trying to threaten Malfoy, I don't see Harry anywhere here," you said as you looked at the forbidden forest, the trees were swaying to the chilly wind
He continued, now more angrily, "Leave Y/l/n, I don't want to repeat myself again," You turned to face him and said, "This isn't your property Malfoy, I don't mind you standing here." you then looked at his eyes which appeared to be in tears, and the moonlight made the irises of his eyes sparkle.
He groaned and turned to face the sight that you had been admiring the entire time. Your attention was drawn to him as he stood next to you, his hands in his pockets and yours behind your back on the floor where you were seated.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
When you touched the slightly dusty railing, your memories of Draco were as clear as if you had just met him. His endearing smile, his unruly blonde hair, and a plethora of other qualities made him easy to fall in love with.
But there you were, sitting by yourself in the tower with your legs dangling and your eyes fixed on the stars, missing the company of your boyfriend as the coldness surrounded you.
You were aware that something was terribly wrong, but you refrained from making any assumptions out of caution rather you accuse Draco of something you knew wasn't true.
You proceeded to look at the stars in the sky after hearing footsteps and some giggling noises coming from the tower's staircases. As soon as you located your favorite constellation, Draco, you heard a voice that you will never forget.
"I love you," the voice said, this voice was raspy and deep, the voice belonged to none other than your lover. However, the words he spoke were intended for someone else, not you.
You turned to look at Draco, whose eyes were fixed on a set of dark eyes—Astoria Greengrass's eyes. Then Draco's lips met hers, and her hands cupped his cheeks as his clasped her waist.
Unknown to them was your presence, your eyes widened and you stood up as soon as possible, you were shocked, and your lips were parted as you let out a shaky sigh.
When his icy eyes met yours, Draco gently parted his lips from Astoria's. He pulled his hand away from her waist as panic filled his veins.
When Astoria turned to face you, she had no idea what was going on. As she began to speak to you, Draco interrupted her, saying, "Tori, could you leave for a second, I-I just need to talk to Y/n." Astoria turned back to face him and nodded.
As her footsteps grew fainter and fainter, you couldn't hold yourself any longer, "You haven't told her, have you?" you questioned, attempting to maintain a confident façade in front of your lover or the one you loved as her footsteps grew fainter and fainter.
"Y-Y/n this is not what-" "What it looks like? I've had enough of your games, Draco. Please answer my question," you said, your voice breaking at the end of your sentence, he answered, "Yes" as his gaze fell on his feet.
How could he have treated someone like this? He felt ashamed of himself. He muttered "Y-Y/n" as guilt encircled him and began to devour him whole. You interrupted him and said, "Save it for later," wiping a tear from your eye.
"Y/n, please! I-It was an accident-" "Was I not good enough? What made you do this Draco?" you asked as your eyes glistened, "It's not you Y/n, it's-it's me, I was a fool to do this" Draco said as he ran his fingers through his hair.
His voice broke, "Please Y/n, forgive me for this one time, I-I," and he continued, "I cannot live without you."
You let out a shaky sigh again, trying not to cry in front of him, "No Draco, I can't anymore, I don't see the Draco whom I loved anymore, I don't see the Draco I had met."
After saying this, you passed him and said, "Take me back to the night we met," as you opened the door to the tower. After that, you shut the door and started to descend the stairs.
When you closed the door, Draco's hands were still holding the door as he cried out in defeat. He had been left helpless on the other side of the door. He was aware that he had failed, and that he would never be able to forgive himself.
Astoria approached you as you came down the tower and inquired, "What happened, Y/n?" You simply replied with a smile, "You should go there; your boyfriend is waiting for you," and you walked away silently as you cried your way to your dorm.

"Welcome to the party, fellas!" George shouted immediately after opening the door for Harry and Hermione. The pair shared a look as they stepped through the door.
"Babe!" Suzanne, George's girlfriend of three years, shouted from her place on the couch. "The quote is "welcome to the party, pal." Not fella."
The older brunette shot Hermione an exasperated look as the younger brunette settled beside her. "I apologize for my idiot. Since it's Christmas, I thought we could watch Die Hard together. Now he won't stop quoting it."
Hermione laughed, knocking Suzanne with her shoulder. It reminded her of when her parents always fought over whether Die Hard should be a Christmas movie. "Look, I'm just glad to finally have a fellow Muggle-born around! I felt like an alien quoting films and television."
"Yippee Ki Yay, Motherfucker!" George shouted from the kitchen which was promptly followed by a crash.
Suzanne winced and pulled herself from the sofa. "Of course he gets that one right," she grumbled, heading into the kitchen to find what broke this time.
Chuckling, Harry shook his head and dropped into the now vacant seat. Together, they settled into a familiar silence and admired the various decorations. Suzanne always did Christmas right. The tree was decorated in various twinkling lights, magical baubles, and keepsake muggle ornaments. In Hermione's opinion, it was a beautiful blend of magic and muggle tradition that couldn't be topped. Nearly every doorway had a sprig of mistletoe waiting to capture a couple under.
"Suzanne's really outdone herself again hasn't she?" Harry asked, dropping an arm around her.
"Doesn't she always?"
The next hour was met with a cacophony of doorbells and choruses of greetings among friends sprinkled with the occasional misquoted film from George. Once the entire party was assembled and accounted for, their hosts called everyone's attention.
"Alright, alright. We've got something a little different this year," George shouted over the din. “My beautiful, fabulous, wonderful, brilliant, funny-”
“Get a room!” The youngest Weasley brother teased which was promptly met with a middle finger.
“What George was failing to explain,” Suzanne took over, “is that this year, we’re gonna try something new! A photo scavenger hunt! I’ve partnered everyone off, and you’ll have a polaroid camera and a list of tasks. You have to finish all the tasks to be uncuffed from your partner. If you don’t finish the tasks, you’ll be cuffed together-”
“FOREVER!” George shouted. Horrified looks were exchanged as Suzanne pushed him back in his seat.
“Otherwise known as the rest of the evening,” she clarified. Suzanne floated around the room handing out slips of paper with paired names and a list of tasks.
Ginny Weasley ~ Hannah Abbott
Harry Potter ~ George Weasley
Luna Lovegood ~ Hermione Granger
Astoria Greengrass ~ Lavender Brown
Seamus Finnigan ~ Draco Malfoy
An involuntary scoff slipped through Hermione’s lips. Of all people, it had to be Looney Luna she ended up paired with. She would have a serious conversation with Suzanne once the holiday was over during one of their lunch breaks at the Ministry. The list was certainly an interesting match-up of people clearly crafted to ensure no one was paired with who they expected nor with their significant others. Their host instructed each partner to stand side by side as she performed cuffing charm. A bright light encircled each person’s wrist before settling into a nearly invisible bind. A thin line of light was the only evidence of the spell.
“You’ll have an hour to complete as many tasks as possible,” Suzanne explained, now passing out cameras to one person from each pairing. As she handed the camera to Hermione, she winked. "And just to add a bit more fun, magic is not allowed on for any task!"
“Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!” George called in a shrill voice. Everyone gave him a skeptical look. “Isn’t that from one of your moving picture things?”
“Definitely not,” Suzanne replied laughing at the red tinge of his cheeks.
“Should be. That was a good one.”
The five pairs of binds vibrated gently notifying the participants the hour had started. Hermione scanned the list eager to start. The quicker they started, the quicker she would no longer be stuck to Luna Lovegood.
“I suggest we start in the middle,” Luna said. Her voice reminded Hermione of the faye tales her mother always told of mischievous forest spirits that lead children astray. Which was precisely how she felt about the suggestion. Hermione could tolerate starting at the beginning or the end of a list, but the middle?
“No, we should start with the difficult ones. If we finish the more difficult ones first then we won’t be rushing through them at the end.” Hermione turned her attention towards the list again.
Sit in someone’s lap and tell “Santa” what you want for Christmas Catch a couple kissing under the mistletoe Snag a photo of someone's tattoo Have an owl sit on each of your heads Make an ornament from tinfoil Wrap yourselves up as presents With great trepidation, Hermione had to admit that Luna was right as the majority of the difficult tasks were at the start. The middle of the list made the most sense. Other pairs were already attempting the first few tasks bottle-necking the process. She jumped as Luna linked their bound hands and pulled her towards the stairs.
“Come. I know just where to start.”
“And where exactly is that?” Hermione asked skeptically. She tried to pull her hand from Luna’s, but the younger woman was deceptively strong.
“The roof, of course. Where else will we find an owl?”
Hermione wiped a hand across her face and let out a frustrated sigh as she followed up the stairs. “Of course,” she muttered to herself. “Silly me, where else.”
This was going to be a very long evening for her.
When Luna said the roof, Hermione had not anticipated crawling through a window to sit on the actual roof. Deliberately not looking down, she attempted breathing in a deep calming breath, her fear of heights still not conquered. If she survived this, Suzanne may not.
Luna, however, was perfectly at ease perched on the roof looking out at the park across the street and pulled her Wrackspurt viewing glasses from her face. Able to see them up close, Hermione thought they looked rather like 3D glasses Muggles used for films. The lenses weren't quite the right hue, but the different colors looked similar. She was surprised as Luna placed the end to her lips and blew. A low, long whistle emitted from the glasses that seemed to satisfy her as she placed the glasses on her nose once again and leaned back on her palms forcing Hermione to do the same.
"And what exactly was that supposed to do?" Hermione asked hotly and checked her watch. Seven minutes were gone climbing on the roof and now apparently waiting. But Luna merely smiled and gazed out in the distance. Just had to be Luna , Hermione grumbled internally. Anyone else on the list would have been a perfectly suitable partner for her. She'd have even dealt with Malfoy, but Luna was another thing entirely. While she held no hostility toward the younger woman, Hermione didn't exactly understand how to handle Luna, something that irritates her more than anything. Nothing Luna did was guided by rationality which was an odd characteristic for a Ravenclaw.
"There we are," Luna said in her usual even tone.
Hermione squinted in the direction Luna gazed out. Faintly, a brown blur appeared to be coming straight towards them. As the blur came closer, Hermione was able to see individual wings and beaks taking form. Owls. An entire flock of owls was flying directly at them.
"Luna," she asked hesitantly. The birds did not appear to be slowing their flight.
The blonde merely shushed her. "You'll scare them away."
Before Hermione could ask about their own safety, a large brown barn owl settled between them. Another smaller owl perched itself on Luna’s knees, nipping affectionately at her fingers. A tawny owl swooped overhead before nesting in the curls of Hermione's hair. Had she not been afraid of slipping from the roof, she would have shooed the thing out before it could get comfortable. Another barn owl landed similarly on Luna’s head as more owls joined their friends all around the two women. With careful, precise movements, Luna held the camera at arm's length snapping their photo and sending the birds into a frenzy. Hermione was fairly certain her eyes weren't even open, but the photo was done. She was all too happy to climb back into the safety of the house and away from the dozen owls that seemed to be looking for a victim to poop on.
"Well that was easy," Luna practically sang, smiling at the polaroid in her hand. "Now a tattoo! We may have to get one ourselves to get the photo. Do you think the no magic applies to apparation?"
Rolling her eyes, Hermione huffed and started tucking up her sleeves. "That won't be necessary, Luna."
The lack of coverage on her arms sent goosebumps up her flesh. While most tattoos were meant to be shown off, Hermione typically didn't advertise hers. It wasn't there for others to see. She couldn't even be sure Suzanne knew about it when creating the list.
A bit self-conscious, Hermione turned her left arm toward Luna displaying the tattoo that inked her forearm. Over her war scar held the words "still I rise" in the stem of a flower. The petals delicately splayed outwards just above her wrist. Easy enough to hide when needed.
"A lotus flower. It symbolizes self-regeneration and rebirth." Luna ran a finger over one of the black-inked petals. "Beautiful."
"I just got tired of constantly being reminded of what was done to me," Hermione explained remembering the impulse that drove her into a muggle tattoo parlor. "I decided to replace it with a reminder to myself. That still, I rise."
With a soft smile, Luna set the camera on a shelf and set the timer. After a quick fluff of her hair, she raised her linked right hand forcing Hermione's arm to do the same and put up a peace sign. Noticing Hermione wasn't copying the hand gesture, she eyed her a bit warily, an expression that was not natural on her. "Well you have to do it too, or you'll look silly."
Hermione shot the younger girl an incredulous look. She would look silly? But Luna simply shook her hand making a peace sign again until Hermione finally mimicked her. The camera clicked and spooled out a new photograph.
Harry and George were not progressing through the tasks quickly. For someone that helped create the tasks, George was not helpful in completing them, his mind clearly not on the list at hand. After the fourth shot-down idea, Harry finally had enough.
“Okay, what's wrong with you?”
“Nothing,” George muttered defensively and crossed his arms best he could. “Just a lot on my mind.”
“Clearly. Now spill.”
George eyed a specific bauble on the tree behind Harry and tapped at his arm nervously. Finally, with a sigh, he turned back to Harry and leaned against the door frame. “Swear to keep a secret?” Once the younger man nodded his agreement, George continued, “I’m proposing to Suzanne. Tonight.”
The news wasn’t exactly shocking. Everyone had been betting on it for nearly a year. Having met on Christmas Eve, the timing couldn't have been better. Harry clapped his friend on the shoulder. “That’s brilliant! She’ll love it.”
“Yeah, but we gotta be last. That’s why I’ve been dragging my feet,” he explained, fidgeting with the camera in his hand.
“We can manage that, but you can’t make it this obvious.” Harry consulted the list to find something easy to cross off. “The mistletoe doesn’t seem so hard. Suppose we can team up with Hermione and Luna. Help each other out, right?"
"Nah, I have a better idea." Balancing the camera in one hand, George grabbed Harry by the back of the head and smacked his lips against Harry's snapping the photo. "It never said anything about it being your girlfriend, Potter!"
"WEASLEY!" Hermione bellowed from the second-floor landing and stormed down the stars. Luna jogged lightly behind her to prevent being dragged.
"Feeling threatened are you, Granger?" George raised an eyebrow at her as she shoved him away.
"I'm going to kill him for this whole thing," Hermione confided and wrapped her arms firmly around Harry's neck.
"Don't do that. Then I'd be stuck dragging a dead body around all night." Harry's hands found her waist, pulling her in to kiss her. The cuffs buzzed again notifying each of them half an hour had passed.
“Come on, Potter! Only reason I agreed to let number three be added to the list was to see if that tattoo rumor from fifth-year held any truth.”
“I take back what I said. You can kill him.” Harry pressed a quick kiss to her lips before being pulled away by his bound wrist.
When Hermione turned back to her own partner, Luna held up a photo of their kiss under the mistletoe in triumph. “Halfway done at the halfway mark.”
"After that, I need a drink." For a second time, Hermione did the pulling and headed straight for the kitchen. Various platters and bowls of snacks lay arranged on the counters and table. And at the center of it all, a bowl of eggnog sat ready to be devoured on the kitchen counter with stacks of disposable cups, also known as Hermione's destination.
She ladled a cup full of creamy eggnog. The smell of cinnamon liquor already burned her nose. Taking a long drink, the warmth spread quickly burning as it went. It was strong even for a Weasley party.
"Well found our next task," Hermione mused, tossing the roll of tinfoil at Luna.
"What a curious item," Luna remarked and pulled a long strip from the box. "Is this its intended purpose? Tree decor?"
"Er, no it's meant to help muggle preserve food," Hermione explained as she refilled her cup. One drink was not going to be enough.
"Fascinating." Without question, Luna ripped a corner from the reflective sheet, popping it into her mouth and chewing.
"You can't eat it!" Hermione shrieked, snatching the remaining tinfoil from her and nearly spilling her eggnog as she did.
"Really? I thought it was for food."
"To wrap around the food, not to eat with the food!"
"Oh now that just seems wasteful," she mused as she pulled the piece from her mouth. "I should like to create a wrapper that can be eaten. Wouldn't that be lovely?"
"Uh, sure. You get right on that, Luns."
Hermione hadn't meant for the old nickname to slip, but it had. Something about Luna always set her off-kilter, but she never intended to be rude to the young Ravenclaw. But, in true Luna fashion, she thought nothing ill of it.
"I like nicknames." Carefully, she set a tinfoil crane on the table, something Hermione hadn't even realized she'd been creating as they talked.
"That's beautiful, Luna." To Hermione’s surprise, a light blush colored her cheeks at the compliment.
"Thank you. I like to fiddle a lot and picked it up along the way." After a quick check of their list, Luna scooped up her ornament and turned back to her partner. "Shall I wrap you up as a present to give to Harry, now?"
The second eggnog was a mistake, and Hermione knew it as the world shifted slightly in front of her. The ground under her felt solid enough, but the lightness of her head made her feel weightless. A thick warmth spread through her limbs as she registered what Luna said. And suddenly, walking didn't seem like such a great idea. But Hermione Granger didn't back down from a challenge.
"Luna, Luna, lovely Luna. I don't care what you do with me at this point, but you may have to carry me there." Forgetting about her cuffed hand, Hermione attempted to throw an arm around her partner only to force both of their arms into a contortion. Luna simply laughed and began pulling her towards the living room.
"Lovely!"
Nothing could have prepared them for the sight they met. It was one that truly could only come from a Weasley annual Christmas party. Sulking on the couch sat Draco Malfoy with Seamus Finnigan. The partnership was an interesting decision, but what truly shocked Hermione was Draco’s usual white blonde hair now shifted in and out of violent reds and vibrant greens.
Seeing the pair of women journey into the room, he raised a pointed finger at them both shouting, “Not a word!”
“You look rather festive , Malfoy,” Hermione remarked anyway, the alcohol loosening her normally tight-lipped retorts. “Guessing you broke the “no magic” rule.”
Rather than make a jab at his expense, Luna handed the camera to Hermione and unceremoniously dropped into Draco’s lap to the shock of everyone present.
“I should like to see a Nargle for Christmas.” Expectantly, she turned towards Hermione for her photo. The photo was nowhere near centered as Hermione's vision titled from the rum as she fumbled the camera, but it did capture the moment quite well.
“I think you should make the change permanent,” Luna announced, giving his head a pat as she stood. He stared in shock as Luna pulled a laughing Hermione towards the Christmas tree where several rolls of wrapping paper sat out.
After tripping over a bag of bows, Hermione set cross-legged on the floor as Luna picked a wrapping paper out. The green paper crinkled at Luna wrapped the paper completely around Hermione’s torso, pinning her arms down. With a final flourishment, she added a bow on top announcing Hermione was properly wrapped and photographed the moment. Suzzane wandered over chuckling at the uneven paper and ribbons that encircled Hermione.
“Someone clearly found the eggnog, else this would never happen,” she laughed, collecting the photos from Luna and verifying each task was complete.
Hermione’s glassy eyes met Suzanne’s. A hiccup shook her body, answering the question. Chuckling at her friend, Suzanne tapped her wand to each of their wrists dissolving the threadlike restraint.
“Congratulations. First to finish!” With another wave of her wand, paper crowns appeared on each of their heads.
“Huh. Who’d have thought,” Hermione mused and pulled the wrapping paper off.
Luna settled back on her hands chattering. As she listened absently, Hermione watched her friends flit around the room in a rush to finish their lists.
“There you are,” Harry said as he settled next to Hermione.
“Harry!” she shouted, wrapping her arms tightly. “Hm, you smell good.”
“And you sound drunk. How many eggnogs did you have?”
“Two! And a half…I think.”
He laughed and wrapped an arm around her. Happy, she snuggled into his side. This was the kind of Christmas she loved pressed against Harry surrounded by all of their friends. It was perfect.
George reached over top the couple to pull a bright purple bauble from the tree. His hands shook slightly as he did, nearly fumbling the ornament. The nerves were beginning to get the best of him
“Hey don’t sweat, mate,” Harry reassured him. George only nodded and went to find Suzanne.
“Don’t sweat what,” Hermione asked, not quite intoxicated enough to miss the exchange.
Instead of giving an answer, Harry just pulled her to her feet picking up the camera beside him. “You'll see.”
She grunted indignantly, leaning heavily into him. A loud clanging drew everyone’s attention to the center of the room where George stood with Suzanne. Hermione shot Harry another curious look before turning her attention.
“Before everyone puts down the cameras, I’m hoping you all will take a few more photos,” George instructed before turning to his girlfriend. “Suzanne Amanda Collins.”
“George Fabion Weasley,” she said when he didn't continue helping break the tension. He gave her an adoring smile and pressed a brief kiss against her lips.
“I love you. You know I love you. And you light up every corner of my life.” Couples found each other as he spoke, clasping hands and wrapping arms around each other. Sighing, Hermione pressed her head against Harry's shoulder as he kissed it.
“Merlin, I wish Fred could have met you. He'd love you. But then he'd also probably have tried to snatch you up himself. But fortunately, I was always the handsome one. And the funny one. Realistically I always carried the team.
“For my entire life, I was one half of a whole. Then I lost that half, and I thought I'd lose myself too. Until this nosey, incredible woman walked into my shop on Christmas Eve no less, looking for a gift for her niece. You always saw me as a whole, complete person all by myself even when I didn't. You gave me space and patience and love while I worked to find myself again and in the process found you. You're the best thing to ever happen to me. And I hope I can be the same for you. I hope you'll let me make you laugh every day and put up with me misquoting all your favorite movies to infinity and into the beyond. So what do you say?"
George dropped down to one knee and twisted the bauble open. Nestled in plush velvet sat a white gold ring with a single pear-shaped diamond.
“This isn't going to turn me into a cow or something right?” she asked, prodding a finger at the ring.
“Only if you say no,” he quipped, giving her his typical sarcastic smile she knew too well.
“Well, how could I resist that?”
“Suzanne, will you marry me?”
“Of course, you idiot.”
The cheer that erupted was deafening as the group of friends surged forward to congratulate the happy couple. All the men clapped George on the shoulder, even Draco despite his current situation at the hand of George. The women took turns hugging Suzanne and admiring the beautiful ring. As the party continued, lots of laughter and jokes were exchanged as later they played a round of White Elephant. The night headed towards its end, and everyone collected their coats to make their way home. As the group parted ways on the sidewalk, George ducked back outside shouting, “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!”

As the sun started to dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the summer campgrounds, you found yourself caught up in the flurry of activity. It was the eve of the end-of-summer party, and there was a palpable buzz in the air as counselors rushed to make the final preparations. The kids had all been picked up this evening and for this final night, only the counselors stayed back at camp, waiting to be dismissed by the camp owner the next morning.
Among them was Theo, brooding and observant, a scowl seemingly permanently etched on his face. Mattheo, Theo's ever-loyal sidekick, added to the lively atmosphere with his sarcastic remarks, while Enzo's booming laughter filled the air, punctuating every conversation. Draco and Blaise lounged nearby, the former oozing arrogance while the latter provided a calm counterbalance to the chaos.
Astoria, Daphne and Luna completed the group, their contrasting personalities adding an interesting dynamic to the mix. But it was the dynamic between you and Theo that truly stole the show. From the moment you met, there had been an undeniable tension between you—an unspoken attraction masked by biting remarks and playful insults. It was as if you were both trying to deny the chemistry that crackled between you by being downright mean to each other.
Pansy, your best friend, stood by your side, her cunning smirk mirroring your own. And then there was you, sharp-tongued and quick-witted, unable to resist a chance to push his buttons.
"Nott," you greeted Theo with a smirk, leaning against a nearby tree. "Ready to ruin everyone's fun at the party tonight?
Theo rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest, ignoring the cups he was supposed to be setting out on the table. "Oh joy, it's you," he replied dryly, his voice laced with disdain.
Mattheo snickered from beside him. "Ah, young love. So beautiful," he teased, earning a glare from both you and Theo.
You shot Mattheo a look of pure irritation, deciding not to entertain his remark with a comment of your own, before turning back to Theo, a smirk playing on your lips. "You know, Nott, if brooding were an Olympic sport, you'd win gold every time."
Theo's scowl deepened, but you could see a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "And if being annoying were a job, you'd be filthy rich by now," he shot back, his tone laced with biting sarcasm.
Pansy, always unable to resist adding fuel to the fire, chimed in with a sly grin. "Why don’t you spare us all the headache and finally hook up with each other?”
You and Theo exchanged incredulous looks, both of you recoiling as if the very idea were repulsive. "I'd rather jump into that lake fully clothed than spend another second with her," Theo retorted, his voice dripping with disdain.
You rolled your eyes, folding your arms defiantly. "Believe me, Nott, the feeling's mutual. I'd rather listen to Enzo's terrible jokes on repeat than be anywhere near you."
Enzo, overhearing his name, chimed in with mock offense from where he was getting the fire started in the pit. "Hey, what's wrong with my jokes?”
Draco, lounging nearby and not moving a finger to help with the party preparations, couldn't resist adding his own two cents with a smirk. “I can’t stand another night of this. The sexual tension is suffocating."
You and Theo exchanged disgusted glances. "Please, Malfoy, spare us the melodrama," you retorted, cursing the fact that you felt your face heating up.
Theo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'd rather be compared to a garden slug than be associated with her in any way."
Mattheo chuckled, thoroughly entertained by the exchange. "Just get it out of your systems already.”
You scoffed, pushing yourself off the tree to help the girls with setting up the cooler and getting the drinks, rolling your eyes. "I'd rather wrestle a bear."
Theo raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement glinting in his eyes. "Trust me, I'd pay to see that."
As the evening gave way to the night, the party continued on in full swing, the atmosphere of the little clearing at the like you had chosen for tonight shifted into one of excitement and celebration.
You found yourself with Pansy and Astoria by your side, giggling into your cups as you sipped the alcohol Enzo had managed to smuggle into camp. The fire cast a warm glow over the area, creating a magical ambiance for the night ahead.
Theo, surprisingly relaxed, was chatting with Mattheo and Enzo by the bonfire, a rare smile gracing his features. Nearby, Draco and Blaise lounged on blankets, engaged in a lively debate with Luna about god knows what, while Daphne sketched quietly under the soft glow of the lanterns.
Meanwhile, you and the girls had found your own corner of the party, where you danced to the music that filled the air, laughing and twirling beneath the starlit sky. Pansy's cunning smirk never left her face as she teased you about your questionable dance moves, while Astoria added to the playful banter with her witty remarks.
The night seemed to stretch on forever, filled with laughter and camaraderie as you danced, sang, and shared stories with each other. You felt a sense of freedom and joy wash over you, the weight of responsibility lifted for the moment as you lost yourself in enjoying the last night of camp, before going back to the reality of university.
As the night wore on and the party reached its peak, you excused yourself to use the bathroom, navigating the darkened paths of the campgrounds. The air was cool and crisp, a welcome relief from the heat of the campfire.
But just as you stepped out of the girl’s bathroom and back onto the path leading to the lake, a sudden noise shattered the silence, grovel crunching as someone stepped on it, causing you to jump in surprise. Your heart raced as you scanned the darkness, your senses on high alert.
Out of the shadows emerged Theo, his figure illuminated by the soft glow of the light next to the bathroom door. "What? Did I scare you?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.
You let out a nervous laugh, relieved to see a familiar face. "What the fuck, Nott," you breathed out, trying to mask your lingering fear. Your hand came up to rub the spot over your heart through your shirt, trying to calm your breathing. "Don’t sneak up on me that."
Theo's playful demeanor faded, replaced by a furrowed brow as he stared past you, his gaze fixed on something behind you. "Wait," he muttered, his voice low and urgent. "Do you see that?"
“Haha, really funny,” you grumbled, shooting him a glare.
“Not trying to be funny right now,” he mumbled lowly, eyes squinting in the direction of the woods.
Confused, you followed his line of sight and spotted a shadowy figure lurking near the edge of the trees. Your heart skipped a beat, a surge of adrenaline coursing through your veins. "What is that?" you questioned, your voice low as if the person was close enough to hear you.
At first, Theo seemed unfazed, brushing off your concern with a dismissive wave of his hand. "Probably just Mattheo trying to pull some stupid prank," he muttered, though there was a hint of uncertainty in his voice.
But as the figure stepped closer, the glint of something metallic catching the faint light, along with the realization that the person’s face was covered with a gruesome mask. Theo's demeanor shifted, his eyes widening in alarm, and he took a step back, his arm instinctively reaching out to push you behind him. "That's not funny, Mattheo," he called out, a frantic edge to his voice.
The figure didn't respond, instead picking up its pace and charging toward you, the gleam of a knife now unmistakable in its hand. Panic surged through you, and Theo wasted no time, pushing you back and grabbing your hand in a tight grip as he pulled you along.
"What the fuck!" he shouted, his voice urgent as he sprinted toward the nearest cabin, his feet pounding against the dirt path. You stumbled alongside him, your heart pounding in your chest as fear propelled you forward.
Theo's grip never faltered as he dragged you along, his eyes darting over his shoulder to ensure the figure wasn't gaining on you. Adrenaline fuelled your movements, your lungs burning with exertion as you ran faster.
Finally, you reached the safety of the first cabin in your path, Theo slamming the door shut behind you with a resounding thud. With trembling hands, you hastily helped him push one of the dressers in front of it, your heartbeat thundering in your ears.
For a moment, you both stood there, chests heaving as you struggled to catch your breath. The adrenaline began to ebb away, replaced by a bone-deep exhaustion as the reality of what had just transpired sunk in.
Theo leaned against one of the wooden bunk beds, his breathing ragged as he ran a hand through his disheveled hair. His usually stoic demeanor had cracked, replaced by a vulnerability you'd never seen before. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice softer now, stripped of its usual sarcasm.
You nodded, your voice barely above a whisper. "Who was that?"
“No idea,” Theo's gaze softened, a flicker of something unreadable passing through his eyes. "We need to figure out what's going on," he said, his tone serious as he glanced around the cabin for any signs of danger.
With trembling fingers, Theo reached for a nearby flashlight, most likely forgotten by one of the campers, casting a weak beam of light across the room. The cabin was sparsely furnished, the walls adorned with faded photographs and peeling wallpaper.
"I’m going to call Pansy," you said, your voice barely above a whisper as you reached for your phone, only to be met with the dreaded realization that there was no signal.
Panic clawed at the edges of your mind as you tried in vain to refresh the signal, but the bars remained stubbornly absent. "There's no signal," you muttered, the words heavy with defeat as you sank onto one of the worn mattresses.
Theo's jaw tightened, a frustrated exhale escaping his lip. "Great," he muttered, meeting your gaze with a glare.
You rolled your eyes, resisting the urge to snap back at him. Despite the tension between you, there seemed to be an unspoken understanding that now was not the time for petty squabbles.
"We need to figure out our next move," Theo continued, his tone serious as he glanced around the cabin. "We can't just sit here and wait.”
You nodded in agreement, your mind racing as you weighed your options. "We could try to make a run for it," you suggested, though the idea of venturing out into the darkness sent a shiver down your spine. “I have my keys on me. We can go and get help, maybe find a signal further up the road?”
Theo shook his head, his expression grim. "It's too risky," he said, his voice low. "We don't where this fucker went and the parking lot is on the other side of camp.”
Silence descended upon the cabin as you both grappled with the gravity of your situation. Outside, the night air was thick with an oppressive darkness, the only sound the distant chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves in the wind.
After what felt like an eternity, Theo spoke again, his voice hesitant as he cautiously peered through the windows to check the space around the cabin. "We should scout the area," he suggested, his gaze meeting yours. "See if we can find any signs of where they might have gone. And then go find the others."
You nodded in agreement, though the prospect of venturing out into the unknown filled you with a sense of dread. With the flashlight in hand, Theo led the way as you followed close behind, helping him push the dresser out of the way again.
You stepped cautiously out of the cabin, the night air enveloping you like a thick blanket, shrouding the campground in an eerie darkness. The distant sounds of the party had faded into the background, replaced by an unsettling silence that hung heavy in the air.
With the weak beam of the flashlight guiding your way, you and Theo navigated the labyrinth of darkened paths that wound through the campgrounds. Each step felt like a leap into the unknown, your senses on high alert for any sign of danger, though there was no sign of the attacker to be seen anywhere.
As you made your way back towards the lake, the familiar sights of the campground took on an ominous quality in the darkness. The rustling of leaves and the whisper of the wind seemed to carry a sense of foreboding - as if warning you to turn back before it was too late.
As you made your way back to the party site, a sense of dread settled over you as you found the clearing deserted, with no sign of your friends. The once lively atmosphere had been replaced by an eerie silence.
Your heart pounded in your chest as you surveyed the scene before you. Lanterns lay scattered on the ground, their soft glow flickering ominously in the darkness. Tables and chairs were overturned, and the remnants of food and drinks littered the ground, giving the impression of a chaotic struggle.
Panic clawed at the edges of your mind as you took in the sight, your distress palpable in the tense set of your shoulders and the rapid rise and fall of your chest. There, right next to the fire, was a puddle of red.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
The sight sent a chill down your spine, a cold hand of fear tightening around your heart. You took a step back, your mind reeling with disbelief and horror.
Theo's grip on the flashlight tightened, his expression grave as he surveyed the scene before you. His usually stoic demeanor cracked, replaced by a sense of urgency and concern. "We need to find them," he said, his voice low and urgent.
You nodded in agreement, your breath coming out labored as your heartrate picked up. "But where could they be?"
Theo's jaw tightened, his gaze sweeping over the deserted clearing as if searching for any clue that could lead you to your missing friends. "We need to search the campgrounds," he said, his tone resolute. "They could be hiding, or worse..."
“We should check the lodge first,” you suggested, trying to push your anxiety to the back of your mind and be useful. Theo's steady presence beside you only offered a sliver of comfort, grounding you. “Seems like the safest place to go.”
Theo nodded in agreement, his expression grim. "Agreed," he replied, his tone serious as he scanned the area for any sign of movement. "That’s probably where they went. And we should get to them before any of them is stupid enough to go out looking for us.”
"Do you think whoever tried to attack us is still out there?" you asked, your voice shaking.
Theo's jaw tightened, his gaze narrowing as he still scanned the darkness beyond the clearing. "I don't know," he admitted. "But we can't afford to take any chances."
Theo and you pressed forward with determined strides, your senses on high alert as you made your way toward the lodge. But as you rounded a bend in the path, your movements faltered, your breath catching in your throat as you stumbled upon the shadowy presence of the masked figure blocking your path.
Panic surged through you both as you found yourselves face to face with danger once again, your hearts pounding in your chests. Instinctively, Theo pulled you back into the cover of the trees, shielding you both from view as you silently communicated your next move.
As the footsteps drew nearer, you shared a fleeting glance with the boy next to you, a silent understanding passing between you, an unspoken vow to protect each other at all costs.
With a shared resolve, you and Theo braced yourselves for the imminent confrontation. The masked figure loomed closer, its heavy footsteps echoing in the stillness of the night. Every fiber of your being screamed at you to run, to flee from the danger that lurked before you, but you stood your ground, ready to face whatever came your way.
As the figure stepped into the dim moonlight, its menacing silhouette became clearer, the glint of the knife held tightly in its hand sending another shiver down your spine. Adrenaline surged through your veins, sharpening your senses as you prepared for the inevitable clash.
Theo's grip on the flashlight tightened, his jaw set in determination as he positioned himself between you and the approaching threat. His eyes narrowed, scanning the figure for any sign of weakness or vulnerability.
"Stay behind me," he whispered, his voice low yet firm as he braced himself for the impending confrontation. His stance was steady, his resolve unwavering as he prepared himself to fight.
With bated breath, you watched as the figure drew ever closer, its masked gaze fixed upon you with an unsettling intensity. Every nerve in your body screamed at you to flee, to seek safety in the darkness, but you remained rooted to the spot, unwilling to abandon the boy willing to put himself between you and the attacker.
As the figure closed in, its intentions clear, Theo raised the flashlight in a defensive gesture, its beam casting a harsh light upon the masked intruder. In that moment, time seemed to slow.
The figure lunged forward, knife flashing, but Theo was ready. With swift reflexes, he dodged the attack, his movements fluid and controlled. In one well-aimed motion, he redirected the assailant's momentum, using their own force against them to create an opening.
But just as Theo was about to land a decisive blow, a sudden commotion nearby caught both of your attention. Another figure emerged from the shadows, shouting something inaudible. The distraction was enough to break the momentum of the confrontation.
Without hesitation, Theo grabbed your hand, pulling you away from the chaotic scene. The two of you ran, your feet pounding against the dirt path as you sprinted through the darkness. Fear fuelled your movements, driving you to put as much distance between yourselves and the assailants as possible.
But the danger was not far behind. They gave chase, their footsteps echoing ominously in the night. Panic surged through you as you as the realization that you were being pursued by not just one, but multiple attackers sank in.
As you ran, the adrenaline-fueled rush of the chase made it difficult to think clearly. Every corner turned, every shadowy figure in the darkness, seemed to hold the potential threat of danger. Your breath came in ragged gasps, your heart pounding in your chest as you pushed yourself to keep going.
Just when you thought you couldn't run any longer, you stumbled upon a storage shed nestled among the trees. Without hesitation, Theo yanked open the door, pulling you inside before carefully and quietly closing the door behind you.
Inside the shed, the air was thick with the smell of must and decay. Your heart hammered in your chest as you pressed yourself against the wall, willing your breath to quieten as you strained to listen for any sign of the attackers outside. Theo’s tall frame crowded you against the wall even further, his hand coming up to cover your mouth and stifle your heavy breathing.
You could barely make out his eyes, your body shaking as you tried to focus on the way he was looking at you, his touch managing to calm you the slightest bit as the footsteps outside drew nearer.
As the tension in the shed mounted, you found yourself hyper-aware of Theo's presence, his closeness both comforting and disconcerting in the cramped space. His hand over your mouth felt oddly intimate, a silent reassurance keeping you grounded.
In the dim light filtering through the cracks in the shed, you could see the determination etched on Theo's face, his eyes fixed on yours with unwavering focus. Despite the danger lurking just beyond, there was a sense of strength in his demeanor that offered you a sliver of hope that you might get out of this alive.
As the footsteps came closer, your breath caught in your throat, every nerve in your body on high alert. In the suffocating darkness of the shed, the only sound was the pounding of your heart, echoing in your ears like a drumbeat of impending doom.
But just as you braced yourself for the inevitable, the footsteps suddenly faltered, fading into the distance until all that remained was the eerie stillness of the night. Relief flooded through you like a tidal wave, leaving you dizzy with gratitude that the danger had passed - for now.
Slowly, Theo removed his hand from your mouth, his touch lingering for a moment longer before he withdrew, his gaze leaving yours and moving to the door. For the first time since the night's harrowing events had begun, you allowed yourself to truly look at him - to see beyond the facade of sarcasm and disdain to the vulnerability hidden beneath. In the soft glow of the shed, his features softened, his guard momentarily lowered as he met your gaze with a mixture of relief and exhaustion.
Without a word, Theo stepped back, giving you space to breathe as he leaned against the opposite wall, his shoulders slumped with weariness. The tension that had gripped the air moments before began to dissipate momentarily as you took a moment to catch your breaths.
"You okay?" Theo's voice broke the silence, his tone soft as he glanced over at you.
You nodded, though the adrenaline still coursed through your veins, leaving you shaky and unsettled. "Yeah, I think so," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. "That was close."
Theo's lips curved into a weary smile, a hint of amusement glinting in his eyes despite the gravity of the situation. "Tell me about it," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know about you, but I could really use a drink right about now."
You chuckled softly, the sound almost lost in the quiet of the shed. "You and me both," you agreed, the tension in your shoulders beginning to ease as the adrenaline began to fade. "But for now, I'll settle for just getting out of here in one piece."
Theo nodded in solemn agreement, his gaze lingering on you for a moment longer before he pushed himself off the wall, his movements slow and deliberate. "Let's get to the lodge," he said, his voice low yet determined as he moved towards the door.
You followed suit. With Theo leading the way, you cautiously opened the door, peering outside to ensure the coast was clear before stepping back into the cool night air.
As you quietly made your way back towards the lodge, the adrenaline-fueled rush of the chase gave way to a strange sense of camaraderie between you and Theo. Silence enveloped you as you walked, broken only by the soft sounds of your footsteps echoing in the darkness. But amidst the quiet, there was a strange sense of intimacy in the shared solitude.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
As you and Theo cautiously made your way through the darkened campgrounds, your senses on high alert for any sign of danger, you had to stifle a surprised cry when you suddenly stumbled upon two familiar figures emerging from the shadows behind one of the cabins. Mattheo and Enzo's presence on the path caught you off guard, and for a moment, all four of you frozen in surprise.
"Oh, thank god. There you are,” Enzo exclaimed, his voice carrying a hint of concern as he approached. Your feet reclaimed their ability to move and you jumped forward, throwing your arms around the taller boy, pulling him close.
Theo stepped forward, his demeanor tense yet guarded as he exchanged a glance with Mattheo. "What are you doing out here in the open?” he questioned, his eyes narrowing as he regarded his two friends warily.
Mattheo flashed a sheepish grin, his usual swagger momentarily replaced by a sense of unease. "We were looking for you," he explained, his tone hesitant. "The others are safe at the lodge. But you two kinda disappeared and we thought something happened to you. I’m guessing you don’t know what’s happening either. Who are these bastards?”
You exchanged a wary glance with Theo, the events of the night still fresh in your mind. "No idea,” you replied. "But we should go. It's not safe out here."
Enzo nodded in agreement, his expression grave. "Agreed. Let's stick together and make our way back," he said, his tone serious as he fell into step beside you and Theo.
Finally reaching the lodge, you found the others huddled inside, barricaded and on high alert. Draco lay unconscious and bleeding on the floor, while Pansy tended to him with a sense of urgency. Blaise was huddled in the corner, trying to calm Luna down as she trembled with fear.
Upon seeing you and Theo return with Mattheo and Enzo, a mixture of relief and anxiety washed over the group. Astoria rushed forward to embrace you, her voice trembling with emotion as she expressed her relief at seeing you both safe.
"What happened out there?" Daphne asked, her voice barely above a whisper as she glanced nervously towards the windows.
Theo's jaw tightened, his expression grim as he recounted the harrowing encounter with the masked assailant. Mattheo and Enzo added their own accounts, their voices laced with a sense of urgency as they emphasized the need for caution.
As the gravity of the situation settled over the group, you all gathered together to figure out a plan of action. Ideas were tossed around, each one more desperate than the last as you grappled with the reality of your situation.
"We need to get help," Blaise stated, his voice tinged with desperation. "There must be a way to contact someone who can help us get out of here."
"Maybe we could try using the radio?" Luna suggested, her voice soft but carrying a sense of hope. "I used it every morning for the announcements, maybe we can use it to send a distress signal."
The suggestion hung in the air for a moment, the group exchanging uncertain glances as they considered the idea. The radio had been a staple of the morning routine at the camp, but whether it could be used to send a signal for help remained uncertain.
"It's worth a shot," Astoria spoke up, her voice tinged with a note of optimism. “I’ll come with you.”
“Me too,” Blaise added, resting his hand on Luna’s thigh as she offered him a tiny smile.
As the group discussed how to use the radio to get a message out there, Theo's gaze shifted towards you, his expression serious as he addressed you directly.
"Hey, you said you have your car keys on you, right?" Theo asked, his voice low yet urgent.
You instinctively reached into your pocket, your fingers wrapping around the familiar shape of the keys. With a nod, you confirmed, "Yeah, I've got them."
A flicker of determination crossed Theo's features as he turned to address the group again, his voice carrying a sense of resolve.
"Alright, here's what we're gonna do," he began, his tone commanding as he outlined his plan. "Blaise, Luna and Tori. You go to the radio shed and send the signal. While you do that, some of us sneak out to the parking lot, grab a car, and get help. I don’t think we can move Draco, so some of us have to stay back here and hide with him."
The suggestion hung in the air for a moment, the group exchanging uncertain glances as they considered the risks. You were the first to speak up again, even though you knew splitting up was probably the one thing you’re not supposed to be doing right now, you couldn’t help but trust Theo. “I’m coming with you.”
Mattheo wrapped one of his arms around your shoulders, nodding in agreement. “Me too.”
“Okay,” Theo breathed out, looking at the others before addressing Pansy. “You, Daphne and Enzo stay here. And I mean stay. Don’t come out looking for us, not matter how long we’re gone, okay?.”
Pansy nodded, her expression serious as she regarded Theo. "Got it. We'll stay put and keep Draco safe," she affirmed, her voice resolute.
Daphne and Enzo exchanged a glance, their expressions mirroring a mixture of worry and determination. "We'll be ready in case anything happens," Daphne assured, her voice steady despite the underlying tension.
With the plan set, the group sprang into action, dividing into two teams to carry out their respective tasks. Theo and Blaise checked the doors and windows of the lodge one more time, making sure they were secured, while you and Luna rifled through the closets and cabinets, trying to find anything proving useful as a weapon.
Finally, Luna, Blaise, and Astoria made their way towards the radio shed, their footsteps echoing in the silence of the night as they disappeared into the darkness, armed only with one of the baseball bats you had found lying around the common room of the building.
Meanwhile, you, Theo, and Mattheo set out towards the parking lot, moving with cautious yet determined strides. Theo was once again in charge of the flashlight, you following close behind him with your keys clutched between your fingers, Mattheo rounding up the group with a tight grip on his own baseball bat.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
You reached the parking lot without any signs of the masked figures, Theo scanning the area for any signs of movement, his gaze narrowing as he assessed the situation. "Alright, let's make this quick," he said, his voice low yet commanding.
You and Mattheo nodded in agreement, your movements swift and purposeful as you searched for your car. Finally, you spotted it parked near the edge of the lot. Not wanting to risk attracting attention by unlocking it remotely, you crept towards it, pushing the key into the lock.
Theo jumped into the passenger seat and Mattheo claimed the back, turning to keep an eye on the lot out of the back window. You turned the ignition, your hope deflating as the car gave no sign of starting.
“Try it again,” Theo grumbled, and you wiped at the sweat collecting at your brows. You tried again, and again, and again. Still, the car stayed silent. “Give me the keys,” Theo growled, grabbing them from your hands and trying himself.
“I know how to start my fucking car, Nott,” you snapped at him, refraining from punching the steering wheel in frustration. “Something’s wrong. Let me check the engine.”
Without waiting for his response, you threw open the door and stepped back out of the car, rushing to open the hood. Using your phone’s flashlight, you tried to find the problem, making a mental note to thank your father for making you help out in his car shop all the time.
The boys had jumped out of the car as well, flanking you on each side as they kept watch while you worked. Finally, you found the problem, tears of frustration filling your eyes. “The fuel line is cut. Someone cut my fucking fuel line.”
“Can you fix it?” Mattheo asked, shuffling on his feet, his anxiety clear on display even though he tried to hide it.
“I could try with some rubber band and a rubber tube or a hose or something. But even then I’m not sure if it would work and we wouldn’t get very far if it did,” you sighed dejectedly, shaking your head weakly.
“Can you hot-wire one of the other cars?” Theo suggested, his face tense with concern.
"Who do you think I am? Do I look like I know how to hot-wire a fucking car?" you spat at him, your nerves getting the better of you. "And what is the chance those fuckers only messed with my car? They couldn't have known we only had the keys for this one on us."
Theo held up his hands in a placating gesture, his expression grim as he regarded you. "Hey, calm down. I'm just trying to figure out our options here," he said, his tone surprisingly gentle despite the tension in the air.
You took a deep breath, trying to rein in your frustration as you considered Theo's words. He was right - panicking wouldn't help the situation.
“We could still just walk?” Mattheo butted in, shrugging as his gaze flitted between you and Theo.
“It would take us like 2 hours to even get to the main road and then we’d need to get lucky to find someone on the road that late willing to stop for us,” you shook your head at him, squeezing his arm to let him know you still appreciated the idea. “And for all we know those bastards are watching us right now, they might follow us."
Theo nodded in agreement, his jaw tight as he considered your words. "She's right," he said, looking at Mattheo, his voice grave. "We can't risk exposing ourselves any further.“
“We should leave a message and get back to the others I think,” you blurted out your next best idea. “Let’s hope Luna managed to contact someone.”
Mattheo’s brows furrowed. “A message?”
“For whoever might have heard Luna’s radio signal,” you explained. “Or Mr. Hargrove. He was coming to dismiss us in the morning, remember? We should let him know about what’s going on so he can call for help before blindly running into danger looking for us.”
“Good thinking,” Theo complimented you gently, reaching over to squeeze your shoulder reassuringly. Something warm fluttered in your stomach at his touch but you shoved the thought of it to the back of your mind, trying to concentrate on the task at hand. “Let's hurry up and do that and then go back to the lodge.”
With a nod of agreement from both boys, you quickly brainstormed the contents of the message. Scribbling down a brief summary of the situation and the camp's location on a torn piece of paper, you left it tucked under the windshield wiper of your car, hoping it would catch the attention of anyone passing by.
As you made your way back to the lodge, a heavy silence settled over the group. The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on your shoulders, each step feeling like a precarious dance between danger and safety.
A sudden rustle in the bushes nearby made you all freeze in your tracks. Instinctively, you reached for your makeshift weapons, your heart pounding in your chest as you strained to see through the darkness.
Out of the shadows emerged two menacing figures, their faces obscured by their masks as they moved with predatory grace towards you.
Without a moment's hesitation, Theo grabbed your arm, his voice urgent as he shouted, "Run!"
Adrenaline surged through your veins as you sprinted alongside Theo and Mattheo, your feet pounding against the forest floor as you desperately tried to put distance between yourselves and the masked figures.
But no matter how fast you ran, it seemed as though the attackers were always one step behind, their relentless pursuit driving you deeper into the darkness of the woods.
Suddenly, you stumbled over a protruding root, your body crashing to the ground with a painful thud. Gasping for breath, you struggled to push yourself up, but a sharp pain shot through your leg as you realized you had twisted it in the fall.
Before you could even attempt to push yourself back up, one of the masked assailants loomed over you, brandishing a gleaming blade in their hand. Fear gripped your heart as you braced yourself for the inevitable attack.
With a swift motion, they lunged forward, their blade slicing through the air towards you. Instinctively, you raised your arms to shield yourself, but the sharp sting of pain erupted through your leg as the blade made contact, tearing through your flesh.
Agony washed over you as you collapsed back to the ground, your vision swimming with tears as you fought to stay conscious. Through the haze of pain, you could hear the sounds of struggle nearby, but you were powerless to intervene.
In a desperate bid for survival, you reached for the nearest object within your grasp—a fallen branch—and swung it wildly, hoping to buy yourself enough time to escape.
But before you could land a single blow, a blur of movement streaked past you. It was Theo. His normally composed demeanor replaced by a ferocious determination, he launched himself at the attacker with a primal rage burning in his eyes.
With a swift and precise strike, Theo delivered a powerful blow to the assailant's jaw, causing them to stumble backward with a grunt of pain. Seizing the opportunity, he unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, driving the attacker back further with each strike.
You watched in awe as Theo fought with a raw intensity, his movements fueled by a fierce protectiveness that left you breathless. Finally, with a well-placed kick, Theo sent the attacker sprawling to the ground. Breathing heavily, he turned to you, his expression softening with concern as he reached out to help you up.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with worry as he supported your weight and helped you to your feet. "We need to keep moving."
You nodded, gratitude swelling in your chest for Theo's unwavering bravery. With his help, you pushed through the pain in your leg and stumbled forward, leaning on him for support as you limped away from the scene of the struggle.
Mattheo quickly moved to your other side, wrapping his arm around your waist to support you as well. Together, the three of you limped hurriedly back towards the safety of the lodge, each step a struggle against the pain shooting through your injured leg.
Theo kept a vigilant eye on your surroundings, his grip on the flashlight tightening as he scanned the darkness for any signs of danger. As you approached the lodge, the tension in the air grew thicker with each passing moment. The sounds of the forest seemed to echo with an ominous warning.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, you stumbled through the door of the lodge, Enzo letting you in and barricading it back shut behind you, collapsing onto the nearest chair with a sigh of relief. Pansy rushed forward to help you, her expression filled with concern as she assessed your injuries.
"What happened?" she asked, her voice trembling with worry as she examined your leg.
You recounted the harrowing encounter with the masked attackers, your words punctuated by gasps of pain as you struggled to hold back tears. Theo and Mattheo filled in the details, their voices steady despite the lingering tension in the air.
As Pansy tended to your injuries with Theo close by your side, his grip tight on your hand as he watched your friend work, the rest of the group gathered around where Draco was now resting, pale but conscious again.
The group talked amongst themselves, voices hushed but urgent, as they debated their next course of action. Blaise and Luna explained that they had managed to send a signal using the radio, but they weren't sure if anyone had received it or if help was on the way.
"We might have to wait it out until morning," Luna suggested, her voice tinged with resignation. "It's too risky to go out there again in the dark."
Blaise nodded in agreement, his expression grim. Theo glanced around the room. "We'll take turns keeping watch," he declared, his voice steady despite the tension in the air. "We can't afford to let our guard down, not even for a moment. But we also need to rest."
The group murmured their agreement. As the night wore on, the group settled into an uneasy vigil, taking shifts to keep watch over the lodge and its occupants. Each creak of the floorboards and rustle of the wind outside sent shivers down their spines, but they refused to succumb to despair.
As the night wore on, the weight of the recent events began to take its toll on you. Despite the adrenaline that had kept you going, the pain from your injured leg and the lingering fear gnawed at your resolve. You tried to push through it, to focus on the task at hand, but as the time passed and there was nothing to distract you, your anxiety began to bubble to the surface.
You felt the familiar tightness in your chest, your breath coming in short, shallow gasps as panic threatened to overwhelm you. Desperately, you tried to keep it together, not wanting to draw attention to yourself in front of the others. But the harder you fought to control it, the more it seemed to consume you.
With a shaky hand, you rose from your seat, mumbling something about needing to use the restroom. Pansy shot you a concerned look, but you waved her off, plastering a weak smile on your face as you made your way towards the back of the lodge.
Once you were out of sight, you quickened your pace, your heart pounding in your ears as you searched for a place to hide. Finally, you found a small storage room tucked away in a corner, its door slightly ajar. Without hesitation, you slipped inside, closing the door behind you with a shaky breath.
Alone in the darkness, you sank to the floor, your chest heaving as you struggled to calm your racing thoughts. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as the full weight of the night's events crashed over you, threatening to drown you in a sea of fear and uncertainty.
But just as you felt yourself slipping further into despair, a soft voice cut through the darkness, pulling you back from the brink.
"Hey."
You looked up to see Theo standing in the doorway, his expression filled with concern as he took in your trembling form.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle as he stepped further into the room, closing the door behind him.
You tried to nod, to reassure him that you were fine, but the words caught in your throat as another wave of panic washed over you.
Theo crouched down beside you, his touch light as he reached out to brush a stray tear from your cheek. "It's okay," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're safe now. I won’t let anything else happen to you."
You wanted to believe him, to let his words wash away the fear that threatened to consume you, but it was easier said than done. The events of the night had shaken you to your core, leaving you feeling vulnerable and exposed. His steady gaze met yours, filled with a warmth and understanding that eased some of the tension coiled in your chest.
"I know it's been a rough night," he continued softly, his voice a soothing balm to your frazzled nerves. "But we're all in this together. You don't have to face it alone."
His words struck a chord deep within you, stirring a sense of gratitude and affection for him that you hadn't fully acknowledged before. In the midst of chaos and danger, Theo had remained a steadfast source of support and strength, never wavering in his determination to keep you safe, putting your safety above his own again and again.
As you gazed into his eyes, a rush of emotions threatened to overwhelm you. The fear and uncertainty that had gripped you moments ago began to ebb away, replaced by a growing sense of clarity and resolve.
Without thinking, you reached out, your hand trembling as it cupped Theo's cheek. His breath caught in his throat, surprise flickering in his eyes as he met your touch.
"I...I just..." you began, your voice faltering as you struggled to find the right words to express the tumultuous emotions swirling inside you.
Without thinking, you leaned forward, closing the distance between you and Theo. His breath caught in his throat, surprise flickering in his eyes as he realized your intent. But before he could react, your lips met his in a tender kiss.
Theo's initial surprise melted away into a shared passion as he responded to your kiss with equal fervor. The tension that had been building between you for so long ignited into a blaze of desire, all the emotions you had been trying to push down bubbling to the surface.
His arms encircled you, pulling you closer as the kiss deepened, each touch sending sparks of electricity coursing through your veins. Lost in the heat of the moment, you straddled his lap, drawing him closer until there was no space left between you.
Time seemed to stand still as you explored each other with a hunger born of longing and need. Every touch, every caress, was a silent confession of the feelings you had kept hidden for so long, now laid bare in the raw intensity of the moment.
Finally, as the need for air became too overwhelming to ignore, you reluctantly pulled away, your breath coming in ragged gasps as you gazed into Theo's eyes, your heart pounding in your chest.
For a moment, neither of you spoke, the air thick as you struggled to catch your breath. But then, with a soft smile, Theo reached up to cup your face in his hands, his thumb brushing gently against your cheek.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper as he leaned in to press a tender kiss against your forehead. "But I really thought you hate me.”
A surge of warmth flooded your chest as you realized that your feelings were reciprocated, that the connection you had shared had been more than just a figment of your imagination.
"I don’t," you whispered, your voice barely audible as you leaned into his touch, relishing the feeling of his warmth against your skin. "I've wanted this for so long, too."
You closed your eyes as Theo wrapped both arms tightly around you, his kisses peppering your hair and temple, his embrace so protective, so sweet, that your own arms instinctively tightened in response.

Upon returning to the main area of the lodge, you quickly took stock of the situation. Draco was now lying down in one of the bedrooms upstairs, Astoria currently by his side keeping watch. Luna and Blaise had vanished into the kitchen a while ago. Enzo and Pansy had made themselves busy arranging all the blankets and pillows they could find around the centre of the room and were now fitfully snoring away.
"I'll go stay with Draco," you announced, turning to the members of the group still wide awake and gesturing towards the staircase. "Let Astoria rest for a while.”
Theo instantly got back up from where he had just sat down next to Mattheo but you shook your head at him, offering him a small smile. “You get some rest too, I’ll just be upstairs.”
He listened, but you could tell he wasn’t happy with staying down here by the way his jaw clenched tightly and his eyes flashed protectively.
Pansy nodded gratefully, her exhaustion evident as she murmured her thanks. "Just be careful, okay?"
You offered her a reassuring smile before making your way towards the staircase. However, as you pushed open the door, your heart skipped a beat at the sight that greeted you.
The room was dimly lit by the moonlight streaming in through the window, casting eerie shadows across the floor. Draco lay asleep on the bed, his breathing steady and peaceful. But Astoria was nowhere to be seen.
A surge of panic shot through you as you scanned the room, frantically searching for any sign of her presence. With a sinking feeling in your gut, you realized that Astoria was not in the room. Fear gnawed at the edges of your mind as you considered the possibilities of what could have happened to her.
Refusing to give in to despair, you resolved to search the other rooms, hoping against hope that you would find her unharmed. With each step, your heart hammered in your chest, the tension mounting with every passing moment.
You checked each room meticulously, your breath catching in your throat with each empty space you encountered. Pushing open the last closed door in the hallway, you froze on the spot. Your eyes had instantly fallen on the shattered window, shards of glass lying scattered around the floor next to Astoria’s body, lying lifeless with blank eyes staring into the darkness.
A scream rose in your throat, but before the sound could escape your lips, a shadow darted out from behind you, swift and silent as they jumped on you, pushing you to your knees. Strong arms wrapped around your throat, cutting off any sound you tried to make as panic seized you in its icy grip.
Your hands flew to your assailant's arms, clawing desperately as you fought for breath. The pressure on your windpipe intensified, a cruel vice squeezing tighter with each passing second. Stars danced at the edges of your vision, your lungs burning for air as darkness threatened to engulf you.
With a surge of adrenaline, you summoned every ounce of strength within you, drawing upon reserves you never knew you had. Your fingers fumbled blindly along the ground, seeking anything, anything that could be used as a weapon to help you break free from the suffocating grip.
And then, your hand closed around a sharp shard of glass, its jagged edges biting into your skin. With as much force as you could muster up, you lashed out, driving the makeshift weapon into your attacker's side.
A guttural cry tore from their lips as they released their hold on you, stumbling backwards in pain and shock. Gasping for precious air, you scrambled to your feet, your heart thundering in your chest as you faced your assailant head-on.
Their eyes burned with a feral intensity, glinting through he slits of their mask. Blood oozed from the wound in their side, staining their clothes crimson as they bared their teeth in a snarl of rage and defiance.
Without hesitation, they lunged towards you once more, their movements swift and calculated. Adrenaline surged through your veins as you dodged their attack, narrowly avoiding their grasp as you danced out of reach.
But they were relentless, their determination unwavering as they pursued you with single-minded focus. With each passing moment, the fight grew more frenzied.
In a moment of desperation, you seized upon the element of surprise, ducking beneath their outstretched arm and delivering a powerful blow to their midsection. They staggered backwards, momentarily off balance, giving you the opportunity you needed.
With a primal roar, you launched yourself at them, driving them towards the shattered window with all your might. Their eyes widened in shock as they realized your intent, but it was too late. With one final shove, you sent them hurtling through the open window, the sharp remnants of glass scratching along their back as their scream echoed into the night and they fell into the darkness below. They hit the ground with a devastating thud, their mask now crooked on their face and their neck at a nauseating angle as their movement seized and they stilled.
Panting heavily, you stumbled back from the window, your body trembling with adrenaline and exertion. The rush of victory was short-lived, however, as the gravity of what had just transpired washed over you. Were they dead? Did you just kill someone?
Just as the panic started washing over you, your eyes fell on the other body in the room. With something else to focus on, you willed the tears in your eyes to disappear and your lungs to take in air again. Dropping by Astoria’s side, you immediately went to check for a pulse, a sob tumbling from your throat at the lack of a heartbeat.
As the reality of Astoria's lifeless form sank in, grief washed over you like a tidal wave, threatening to drown you in its depths. Tears blurred your vision as you reached out to touch her cold skin, willing her to wake up, to tell you that everything was going to be alright.
But there was no response, no sign of life in her still form. With a shaky breath, you pulled yourself away from her side, your heart heavy with sorrow and regret. You had failed to protect her, failed to keep her safe from the horrors that had befallen you all.
But there was no time to dwell on your guilt, no time to mourn the loss of a friend. With a heavy heart, you pushed yourself to your feet, steeling yourself for the task that lay ahead. There were still others in the lodge who needed your help.
Turning away from her, you hurried back towards the staircase, intent on alerting the others to the danger that now lurked within the lodge. But as you reached the top of the stairs, you froze in your tracks, the sound of sobs and commotion drifting up from below.
Fear clenched at your heart as you realized that not just one of the killers had made their way into the lodge. With a sense of dread gnawing at your insides, you raced down the stairs, your mind racing with thoughts of what horrors awaited you below.
As you rushed down the stairs, your heart pounding with fear and determination, Theo met you halfway, his eyes wide with worry as he searched for you. Without a moment's hesitation, you relayed the heartbreaking news of Astoria's demise to him, the weight of the loss heavy in your voice.
Theo's expression hardened with resolve as he took in your words, and without a second thought, the two of you sprang into action, ready to confront the remaining killers that had made it inside. The air crackled with tension as you both braced yourselves.
As you and Theo descended upon the killers, a fierce determination burning in your eyes, a chaotic fight scene unfolded. The lodge's corridors became a battleground, the clash of metal against wod, fists against skin and the cries of combat ringing out through the once-peaceful halls.
Theo fought with a skill and ferocity that surprised even you, his every move calculated and precise as he defended himself and fought back against the attackers. You, too, tapped into a wellspring of strength and courage you never knew you possessed, each strike a testament to your determination to protect yourself and those still alive in the lodge.
In the midst of the chaos, Theo managed to disarm one of the attackers, seizing their weapon and turning it against them. With a swift and decisive blow, he incapacitated them, the sound of their body hitting the floor echoing through the lodge. His face frozen in a grimace as he stood over them, watching the pool of red beneath them growing in size because of his doing.
Your focus was torn from the frey momentarily as you took note of Blaise clutching his side where blood seeped through his fingers, while Mattheo staggered back, a gash across his arm leaving him wincing in pain.
One of the attackers used this moment of distraction, lunging towards you with a gleaming blade. With a gasp of horror, you stumbled backward, your heart racing with fear. But before the fatal blow could land, Luna sprang into action, throwing herself between you and your assailant with fearless determination, baseball bat raised. With a swift movement, she deflected the attacker's strike, the blade flying out of their grasp and to the floor.
Luna unleashed a flurry of blows upon the attacker, her movements swift and merciless. Each strike from her baseball bat landed with precision, sending shockwaves of pain through the assailant's body. With each swing of her weapon, she drove the attacker back, finally landing a final blow to their head as they turned to escape, making them crumble to the floor.
The assailant, now on the defensive, tried desperately to evade Luna's barrage of attacks, but she was relentless, her resolve unshakeable. With a fierce battle cry, she pressed forward, her eyes blazing with determination as she closed in on her target.
With a final, powerful blow, Luna delivered a devastating strike to the attacker's midsection, sending them crashing to the ground with a cry of pain. Disarmed and defeated, they lay sprawled on the floor, their mask askew and their breath coming in ragged gasps.
Breathing heavily, Luna stood over her fallen adversary as they lay sprawled on the floor with their mask askew, her chest heaving with exertion.
Meanwhile, Enzo engaged in a brutal hand-to-hand combat with another assailant, their blows landing with bone-crunching force as they grappled for dominance. With a burst of adrenaline-fueled strength, Enzo delivered a decisive strike, sending his opponent reeling backward with a cry of pain, the back of their head hitting the edge of a table with a thundering crack before they sunk to the floor, all movement gone from their body.
As the chaos subsided, the masked figures all lying lifeless around the room, Theo and Enzo quickly sprang into action, pulling their bodies into another room to clear the main area of the lodge. Meanwhile, you, Luna, and Pansy carefully carried Astoria's body downstairs, where Daphne stood in shock before throwing her arms around her body, refusing to let go of her sister.
Tears streamed down Daphne's face as she clung to Astoria, her grief palpable in the silence of the lodge. Luna, her eyes brimming with compassion, gently placed a hand on Daphne's shoulder, offering her comfort and support in this moment of unimaginable loss.
You and Pansy then instructed Mattheo and Enzo to sit down, helping them clean up and bandage their wounds, while Theo and Blaise went to retrieve the still unconscious Draco from upstairs.
After everything was taken care of, the group sat in stunned silence, some sobbing softly as they grappled with the enormity of what had just transpired.
As the hours dragged on, the darkness outside slowly gave way to the light of dawn, casting a pale glow through the windows of the lodge. As the weight of the night's events settled heavily upon you, you found yourself seeking solace in Theo's arms. With a heaviness in your heart and a weariness in your bones, you nestled into his embrace, seeking comfort and reassurance.
Theo held you close, his arms wrapped protectively around you as you huddled together in a corner of the room. The warmth of his presence enveloped you, offering a small measure of comfort in the face of overwhelming grief.
Silently, you clung to each other, drawing strength from the simple act of being together. Words seemed inadequate in the wake of such tragedy, and so you remained locked in a wordless embrace, finding solace in the shared silence between you.
With each passing moment, the tension in your body began to ease, replaced by a sense of peace that settled over you like a blanket. In Theo's arms, you felt safe and secure, shielded from the horrors. You stayed there, wrapped up in his arms with his lips pressed to the top of your head, until finally, you could see the flashing red and blue lights approaching outside as the first rays of sunlight filtered into the room.

Hello friend! First of all I wanted to say that I love your writing ❤️ I was wondering if you could write a little something angsty and fluffy where Draco is dating Astoria and they are all part of a good friend group (because of their families) and Draco has always been in love with the reader and Astoria makes him choose and the reader tells them she’ll step aside until one day Draco leaves Astoria for the reader
decision | draco malfoy
pairing: draco x reader, draco x astoria

warnings: angst, cursing
universe: harry potter

“Y/N! There you are, finally. We have been waiting for you for ages”, Astoria greets you happily, but something about her comment makes you realize immediately that she is not at all happy about it. She puts on a smile but put on is exactly the right word here. It is anything but real or genuine, she just wants to keep her facade.
“I am sorry, I was held up”, you reply briefly, not in the mood to let this conversation, which has just started, escalate into an argument right away. Especially not in the middle of the Great Hall, where just about every student and teacher from all around Hogwarts is currently gathering. Which is also why you hastily decide to sit down on the bench, in an empty spot between Pansy and Theodore, and put your books and utensils that you will probably need for today’s study session on the table. The table that is already covered in books and papers of all kinds.
We have only just started, don’t worry”, a voice, that comes from none other than Draco, encourages you, who watches you from across the table as you try to handle the chaos that you created on the table in front of you, trying to get it under control. If you did not know better, you imagine seeing a smile on his lips.
“Exactly, we were just about to start reviewing the latest spells. Will Flitwick ever stop teaching us new ones?”, Pansy giggles, and you know she is just trying to lighten the mood after you came too late, and you absolutely adore her for that. The others do not seem to care, some of them did not even look at you when you reached the table, breathing heavily after running down several staircases. Everyone except Astoria. Who, for some reason, has always harbored a deep hatred for you.
“Great, I think I have understood almost all the new spells, so I will be more than happy to help you”, you reply in a friendly manner and look around, only to be greeted with grateful expressions on your friends’ faces.
“Of course, you understood them. If not you, who?”, Draco winks at you mischievously, casually opening his book as if he had not just put you in cardiac arrest for a moment. He cannot even guess what he triggers inside of you with such banal statements, what kind of fire it kindles. Unfortunately, you have to tame the burning flame again, because you know, everyone knows, that you are just not meant to be.
Astoria, nee Greengrass and chosen Malfoy by what feels like birth, will have the honor of spending her entire life with him. After this study session, after the year, and after Hogwarts.
“True, we should all kneel before you, you holy and mighty genius”, Blaise laughs from where he is sitting next to Draco, on the other side which is not confiscated by his girlfriend. After Pansy and Theodore continue to comment on how all this knowledge can even fit in your little head, a silence falls between all of you as everyone works on their own tasks for a while. Only the scratching of the quills on the parchment fills the silence, as well as the tumult of the other students around you, which you somehow manage to ignore.
Sighing softly, you end your last sentence for your task with a full stop and look up from your paper, interested in how far the others have come or if they need help somewhere. What you certainly did not expect is that Draco is staring straight at you. Without even batting an eyelid, he stares right at you, emotion illegible on his face, even when you catch him obviously staring at you. In response, he just ever so slightly lifts one corner of his mouth, immediately putting a shy smile on your lips which you try to suppress.
Small moments like these ones happen quite often lately. You catch him staring at you over and over again, teasing you, making you laugh on purpose and each time your heart beats a little bit stronger for him. Even though you know it is wrong. He is taken and you are not the type to destroy happy relationships.
Draco’s happy expression fades as quickly as it came when Astoria places her hand on top of his, her gaze fixed on her parchment as she continues to write with her quill.
But you know perfectly well that she saw it. Even if she now acts like she did not.
Later, when you finally completed all your tasks after two and a half hours, more or less successfully, Theodore suggests going down to the lake again to end the day there before the stressful school life takes you in completely tomorrow.
“Then I can try some of these new spells on you, Theo”, Draco indirectly challenges his friend, who immediately jumps out of his seat, tossing his bag over his shoulder while nodding in acceptance of the silent challenge. Before they can set off, however, Astoria stops her boyfriend from walking by gripping his wrist tightly.
“Draco? Can I talk to you shortly?”, she asks him, her voice cold and unemotional as her gaze flies over to you for a brief second while you stand up as well. You, of course, notice her suspicious look on you. “In private.”
Draco, who looks at her with concern in his beautiful eyes, nods right away and lets her pull him out of the Great Hall. You look after them sadly, not able to take your eyes off them even though your heart contracts in pain. The way he looked at her with so much concern and emotion in his eyes gave you another stab in the heart. He loves her so sincerely and just as much, maybe even more, does she love him. They are the perfect couple, destined from birth to be the most powerful one.
“Oh oh, that sounds like stress in paradise”, Blaise casually mentions, not really seeming to care what kind of relationship problems his closest friends are now experiencing. “He is just avoiding the challenge again. Let us go before the sun sets!”
“Well, to be honest, I do not feel like it right now”, you finally remark, and with these simple words, you immediately catch the attention of all your friends.
“What is it? Are you not feeling well?”, Theodore asks you attentively, running his hand over your arm in worry.
“I kind of got a headache. Apparently, at the end of the day everything does not fit into my head as easily as you always claim”, you answer with a gentle smile so as not to worry them any further. “But go to the lake without me, don’t worry! I do not want to spoil your fun.”
“Are you sure? Is there not anything we can do for you?”, Pansy asks again, prompting you to nod. After much persuasion, they finally give in and allow themselves to go to the lake without you, even if, as Blaise wanted to make clear once again, it is only half the fun without you.
Inwardly glad about the good friends you have made, although it is actually primarily thanks to your families that you even know each other at all, you walk down the corridors to your common room. You are sorry for lying to them about your health, but after seeing Draco and Astoria you did not feel like being around them anymore. And when they join the others at the lake later, she does not have to worry that you are somewhere within reach.
“Can you finally explain to me what the hell that was all about?!”, an angry voice suddenly yells nearby, making you stop abruptly. For a moment, you are unsure if you have just imagined it, when an even louder “Answer me, Draco!” follows.
There is no doubt that Astoria and Draco are arguing, again. Which in itself is nothing new, but from the way Astoria looked at him in the Great Hall, it must be something much more serious this time. You know it is wrong, but you cannot walk away. You could just turn around and wait for them to settle their argument. But you are on your way to your common room right now, and unfortunately their voices are coming from exactly that direction.
“I do not know what your problem is, Astoria. What have I done now?”, Draco asks, obviously annoyed by her screaming.
“Stop being so hypocritical. Like I would not notice the way you are looking at her”, Astoria replies bitchy, her voice loud as if she does not give a damn if anyone hears her. Which is actually the case, she just does not know.
“Cut it out, Astoria.”
“I am not stupid, Draco. Do you really think I do not see it?”
“I am honestly tired of these discussions, Astoria.”
“What does she have that I do not have? Why do you look at her so differently when I deserve all this affection!?”, she now shouts furiously and from the footsteps echoing from the walls, you realize that Draco must have had enough of her and turned to leave. “We should be made for each other, not you and her! We are getting married one day, Draco. She- She is-”
“Do not dare to say even one wrong word about Y/N”, Draco interrupts Astoria’s emotional outburst and at the mention of your name, your breath gets caught in your throat and for a moment you feel like you cannot breathe anymore. This whole argument is about.. you?
“Why do you not protect me like you always protect her? What am I doing wrong?!”
“Leave me alone, okay? I do not want to talk to you about this anymore.”
“No, I will not leave you alone until this is settled once and for all!”, Astoria yells at him at the top of her lungs, causing uncomfortable goosebumps all over your body. You are not supposed to be here, you are not supposed to be overhearing this conversation, and yet you are standing here, not moving one bit as if you have grown roots on the spot.
“It is either me or her. You decide.”
These furious words fade to a deadly silence after Astoria uttered them in anger. An uncomfortable silence continues to spread, engulfing every sound for several minutes during which absolutely nothing happens. You hold in your breath, your heart pounding in your chest, waiting for him to give you the final deathblow by choosing her.
But it does not come. Suddenly, you hear quick footsteps, growing louder by the second, and Astoria’s whimpering echoes in your ears.
“Draco! Do not run away now!”, she calls after him, the sadness and pain in her voice hard to ignore after Draco apparently turned away from her without a word, too shocked by her question. “Stay here, Draco! COME BACK!”
A tear slips down your cheek unnoticed while your heart clenches with pain. She does not deserve this and the thought of this eventually drives you to your final, and possibly very fatal, decision to step in Draco’s way just as he is about to pass you, walking away from his girlfriend. His eyes widen at the sight of you, his lips opening and then closing again as he utters no sound. Astoria, who is closely behind him and about to take his hand, stops her movement abruptly when she sees you, looking at you with teary eyes.
“Y/N-”
“I am sorry, I did not want to- Well I- I will not stand in the way of your love any longer”, you finally choke out, tearing your own heart into a thousand pieces. The shock on Draco’s face does not make it much better. “I do not want to be the reason something wonderful breaks apart. I do not want something destined to not come true. I am truly sorry.”
Using the last of your strength to get these words out, you turn and run down the corridor, not waiting for an answer, the unstoppable tears immediately pouring from your eyes. The pain you feel in your chest is unbearable, but you know that you did it for the right thing. A small sacrifice that had to be made to avoid a greater sacrifice.
You made a decision for Draco that he should never have been faced with.
However, when a hand suddenly grabs your wrist and stops you, you cannot believe that Draco ran all the way after you. And above all, that he now sees your flowing tears, which can no longer hide your true emotional state. You slowly start to panic and just want to leave, but for some reason Draco’s hand on your wrist grounds you.
“Draco.. Why?”
“Do not ever say anything as stupid as that again”, he scolds you, and before you can even react, he pulls you into a bone crushing hug. His scent swirls around you and you feel his heart pounding against his chest as fast as your own. His hand runs gently over your hair, and he buries his nose deeper in your hair the tighter he presses you against him, as if you could just vanish into thin air at any moment. Although you enjoy the much-needed hug, your insecurity about the whole situation gets the better of you and you gently push him away from you until he gives in and lets you go completely. Before you can say anything, Draco beats you to it.
“I do not care what my parents want. I do not give a shit what my parents and her parents have decided. I do not love her, I never loved her in that way. That love was only ever reserved for you”, Draco explains, eyes teary as if he, too, is on the verge of an emotional outburst.
“It is unfair to her, and it is unfair to you. But above all, it is unfair to me if I keep lying to myself the rest of my life. I would never have been happy with her, Y/N, but I would be with you.”
“I can’t, Draco. We can’t-”
“I would always choose you”, he whispers lovingly before he joins your lips with his in a gentle but passionate kiss. And if it were up to you, it would stay like this forever.

Heyyy
I’m looking for a dramione, I think it was in twitter.
Hermione is pregnant by Draco but she thinks he doesn’t want her anymore. Harry is being supportive of her.
Astoria and Draco are married, she’s also pregnant.
Turns out Draco had his memory erased by Narcissa.
Astorias baby is actually Harry’s. Harry finds out what truly happened when he runs into Astoria I believe in the muggle world.
Anyone?
Edit: Thanks! You need Twitter to view the thread though:

Vintage tee, brand new phone
High heels on cobblestones
When you are young they assume you know nothing.
His hips crashed into yours, he rocked your whole fucking world. Your arms locked behind his neck and he took a bite of the sweet flesh that laid on your neck marking you. You tossed your head back from the overwhelming pleasure of his cock digging into your sex. Cries leaving your lips like a prayer to him, your God. his bright platinum blonde gleaming in the lamp light, his smooth and pale skin against yours, his deep gray eyes boring into yours. In these moments you forget that you're married, that other people exist, it's only you and him. And you hoped it’d stay this way.
Sequin smile, black lipstick
Sensual politics
When you are young they assume you know nothing.
Your lips, so sweet it was intoxicating to him. You were the cigarette that nimbled in between his fingers and he just couldn't get enough of it. He inhaled and exhaled, but he wanted more. He was hungry, craved for it and he needed it, willing to rip himself to shreds if he couldn't. You were his drug and he was addicted.
He loved the way your body responded to him, the cries that rippled from your throat and the way you held onto him so tight. Oh and how he loved the way that you both fought. So passionately and fiercely that he wanted to tear your fucking clothes off everytime, the only girl he’d ever felt that way for. But how many times is too much? You were soon to grow tired of this illicit affair and he knew it. But for now he would keep you close and away from anybody who tried to take you.
And because of this mentality a problem soon arose.
But I knew you
Dancin’ in your Levi’s
Drunk under a street light, I
I knew you
Hand under my sweatshirt
Baby, kiss it better, I
After one last thrust, his seeds spilled into you. Your body thrashed and shook as his hot cum shot into you. Your legs clenched, squeezing around his waist as you came. Soon he fell onto the bed right next to you and tried to catch his breath, he turned to the side and admired your beauty. You caught on and laughed, “Stop looking at me like that you dork!”
“I cant help but stare when a fucking gorgous woman is right beside me, I’m a lucky man.” he smiled, but you didn’t. Your laughter died down, ‘I'm a lucky man.’ but you weren't even his? Sure you were in some aspects, but overall you weren't and that made your heart shatter the most. Not even ths fact that the only time you ever see him was to fuck each other like hormonal teenagers, but that you werent actually his and he acted like you were. Did he not know how much it hurt?
He thought the same thing. Did you not know how much it pained him to see you and Adrian act like a happy married couple and the fact that he wasn't able to grasp and call you his? Because you weren't his, and you certainly weren't his to keep. He wanted to hold you and never leave you standing alone.
And when i felt like an old cardigan
Under someone's bed
You put me on and said i was your favorite
He’d twirl you around the room, smiles decorating your faces as you both danced soulfully to the music bouncing off the walls. You both were so dumb in love but never had the courage to speak up, so the only option you had left was actions.
Small things like your favorite flower, a single red rose. He brought one every time you two would meet up ever since you told him. You smiled and giggled like a child when he presented you with a red flower on late friday nights. Always pressing a loving kiss to his lips as he held your waist and tore off your clothes one by one. His hands traveled everywhere possible, he examined every piece of skin you had and he loved it all. Constantly praising you as the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and you believed him. Just for those few hours you spent with him, you believed it. You believed you were the most beautiful woman.
A friend to all is a friend to none
Chase two girls, lose the one
When you are young they assume you know nothin’
His gaze landed on a young lady, legs crossed together, hair nicely displayed and she sipped on her tea with grace. She intranced him, she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. Big green eyes, long brown hair, a slim figure and petite. He smirked to himself.
For some reason, the one that he held such care and love for simply no longer existed in his mind. You had vanished. It was like he’d never even heard your name before and in that moment he’d hoped it stayed that way.
He took long strides forward to introduce himself to her, holding his hand out with a smile on his face. “I’m Draco Malfoy,” and looking up she too with a smile on her face took his hand, “I’m Astoria Greengrass, nice to meet you.”
From that point on you noticed his distance from you. He never brought that single red rose, did not look you in the eyes at all, never cared for your pleasure like he used to. What happened? What happened to the man who’d rip himself open for you, pour his soul out, the one who showed you what love was. That was love, right?
Wasn't love when you felt like you couldn't breathe without him. Wasn't love when you’d sacrifice anything for him. Isn't it when you get those tingly feelings in your stomach… butterflies? Isn't isn't when you feel so vulnerable, naked to the eye. Like removing a piece of clothing off of your body, because you wanted him to see you. To see the you that craved him, the you that needed him because you were so intoxicated it drives you insane. And you couldn't do anything about it. All you could do was sit and watch everything unfold in the way you wished and hoped it never did. The day that he'd leave you.
The day that he'd find another girl to call his most beautiful. Weren't you his most beautiful? Weren't you enough? What did she have that you didn't? But that was the problem: you had something she didn't. A husband. Your chest tightened, you wanted to leave this marriage from the very beginning, it isn't fair. It… it isn't fair. But then you realize life isn't fair. The relationship you had with him wasn't fair, you were a married woman and he was a single man looking for fun but found something more and he - just couldn't do it anymore. So many possibilities of getting caught and he couldn't bear the shame for the Malfoy name, he couldn't. But if he loved you wouldn't he risk it all like you did? But that new girl, completely different from you. Poised, knew how to communicate with him, and made it clear that she wanted something more.
But i knew you, playing hide and seek and
Giving me your weekends, I
I knew you
Your heartbeat on the highline
Once in twenty lifetimes, I
“What do you mean, mother!” you cried out, hands thrown up. “Dear, do you know how much this will elevate our status? If you and Adrian have a child, our families will grow at such a faster pace, it would be rapid!” she laughed, flicking her wrist as if what she said was just as funny as her hair line. Adrian sat there, hands glued together, his mouth opened to say something but his mothers hand gesture immediately shut him up. Ah, yes the mothers teaming up just to convince you two that having a child together would be the greatest plan the wizarding world will ever hear.
“You are hilarious, y/m/n! Everything you said is so true,” his mom wiped her tears from her cackling away. Your mom's head perked up and she clapped her hands together, “Well you two should go and get on with that baby making!” Both of your moms walked out of the manor crying out the last of the dignity they had away.
Quickly after they left he stood up, “We don't have to-” he was interrupted by your lips crashing onto his. You had all this pent up anger building inside of you and needed a way to release it, this isn't your best idea but it got the job done. You jumped up wrapping your arms around his neck, it didn't feel right because he wasn't him. His nails dug into your thighs making you whimper into his mouth, he grinded his sex against yours.
Next thing you knew your back was up and against the couch, the same couch that the blond man had fucked you so hard on you cried, your nails scratched the skin of his back and you were limp. Always so damn Limp. Empty. Bare. Meaningless.
“Fuck I’m gonna fill you up so good,” Adrian groaned into your ear while he dry humped you, quickly your both removed your clothes trying to get this over with. And honestly, this is the driest you’ve ever been since you met Draco. Adrian didn't arouse you the way he did and he didn't speak or move the way he did.
The tip of his cock met your entrance and he pushed in, invading your home that you had built with Draco. He broke down the walls and you collapsed.
Finally, he came in you.
And when I felt like an old cardigan
under someone's bed
You put me on and said that I was your favorite.
Draco woke up with a yawn escaping his mouth, rubbing his eyes he looked at the Daily Prophecy and couldve swore he saw you and Adrian on the front page, he couldn't tell if this was his mind tricking him because he wasn't over you yet, or maybe the fact that you were actually on there. So he took a double take, removing Astoria’s head off his shoulder. His eyes skimmed over the paper and met yours. ADRIAN AND Y/N PUCEY CARRYING THEIR FIRST CHILD!! SKIP TO PAGE 12 TO SEE THE INSIDE SCOOP ON THESE TWO LOVE BIRDS -
His blood fucking boiled, what the fuck was your problem. “Getting pregnant?! For all we know it could be my fucking child not Adrian fucking Pucey’s.” he laughed at that. His hands started crumbling that Daily Prophet, his blood pressure was high, he was going insane. He couldn't take this. You, being pregnant with someone's damn bastard of a child?! And not even his. Not that he ever wanted you to get pregnant - but… maybe he pictured you in the future with him and a family of his own with you.
To kiss in cars and downtown bars
Was all we needed
You drew stars around my scars
But now I’m bleedin’
You know what? It was a Friday and he planned to see you today, maybe you wouldn't know of his coming, counting the fact that he hadn't shown up in a month, 2 weeks and 3 days but hey! Who's counting?
Quickly he apparated to your place expecting to just see you, but low and behold Adrian Pucey. “What are you doing here, Malfoy? There’s no event or anything here?”
Draco rolled his tongue against his cheek and for some reason a part of him wanted to say, ‘i’m here to fuck your wife brain dead.’ But he didn't, he’s been working on self restraint for a month, 2 weeks and 3 days now! Yay! So yes, right after he found out you were pregnant he apparated over.
“Where’s Y/n?” he demanded.
“You both are on a first name basis I see.” Adrian's eyes pierced through the blondes. A staring contest began. “Oh, well you see your wife and I are very close.” he smirked villainously. “Then why has she never talked about you?” Adrian questioned.
“Well Pucey, you dont go around telling your husband about the very person you let fuck you every friday, now do you?” how he would’ve loved to say that.
“Where the fuck is -” “Adrian, who are you talking to?” you asked, walking down the stairs. Draco’s breath was caught in his throat, he longed to hear your sweet melancholy voice for so long that your voice lingered and echoed in his mind. Looking up, your eyes met his. “I - Draco? What are you doing here?” The last part came out colder, a shiver traveled down his spine. “I need to talk to you, please.”
“I don't know,” you mumbled.
“It’ll be quick, I promise.”
‘Cause I knew you
Steppin’ on the last train
Marked me like a bloodstain, I
I knew you
Tried to change the ending
Peter losing Wendy, I
I knew you
Leavin’ like a father
Runnin’ like water
You and Draco both walked to a room to be more secluded and have privacy, leaving Adrian in the living room. Before you left Adrian gave you a pair of concerned eyes, you shook it off.
“What do you want from me?” you asked, arms crossed like you were defending yourself. “Listen, just - are you actually pregnant?”
“Is that what you came for?! To know if im actually pregnant or not, you sound like the whole fucking wizarding world! Of course I am!” you yelled with anguish, you were so sick of people. His arms came to the sides of your arms and caressed them, “Baby, calm down,” he tried to soothe you but you thrusted his arms off of you disgusted.
“Don’t call me “baby”! You left me, Draco, you left me… you made me feel things that you knew I wouldn't with anyone else, so why’d you leave? Because you met a new girl? Look at this godforsaken mess that you made me!” you cried out, your hands forming into fist banging against him, your tears soaking his shirt. “Shhhh, it’s okay.” he mumbled into your hair as his hands traveled your body trying to comfort you. “No, no it’s not okay… why aren’t you fighting with me? Why are you so quiet, goddamnit get mad, throw something, just - yell at me!”
But I knew you’d linger like a tattoo kiss
I knew you’d haunt all of my what-ifs
The smell of smoke would hand around this long
‘Cause I knew everything when i was young
I knew I’d curse you for the longest time
“Yell at you?” he questioned, his face contorting into anger. His voice grew, “You want me to yell at you! After everything! I was trying to be nice, can you not take nice? Why do you always want me mad, you drive me fucking insane, you know that! I can't spend one moment with you without raising my voice, making you cry! Do you know how much it hurts me to see you cry and know that you're crying because of me?”
“Then stop, stop making me cry!” you fought, fueling the fire.
“How? How do I stop being the reason you cry, how do I stop making you cry!”
“Love me! Just fucking love me, that’s all i’ve ever wanted!”
“You don't think I do?! I fucking love you, so damn much I’m addicted to you! To your smell, your body, your skin, I just want you, all to my-fuckingself! What do you think I've been doing all this time? Trying to get over you! I could try every flavor and you’d still be my favorite! I’ve spent so long watching Pucey parade you like a fucking trophy and do you know how fucking mad i get? He gets to go out and show off my girl, something I should be doing because you're mine and we both know it!” he took a step closer to you, his hot breath dancing on your skin and your breath hitched feeling him so close.
He looked into your eyes and that's where you saw his vulnerability, he was telling the truth. Wasting no time you smashed your lips against his and he immediately reciprocated your actions. Your lips brutally brushed against his, it was piercing. You both ate each other up like you’ve been starved for numerous years. He tasted like cigarettes and mint, refreshing and venomous all at once fogging up all your senses. You were in a new world, one where it was just him and you. Both happy and free to go out in public with no criticism or shame, somewhere that felt like home. He was - is and will always be your home. The one place that you knew you could always find comfort, love and support. You were for sure he’d always be there, so maybe it was how gullible you were that got you into this mess.
Chasin’ shadows in the grocery line
I knew you’d miss me once the thrill expired
And you’d be standing in my front porch light
And I knew you’d come back to me
You’d come back to me
And you’d come back to me
And you’d come back
“God, I missed this pussy. So wet, practically milking for me, Sweetheart.” he praised, his hand moving to your clit. Your back was laid on the bed and your clothes were torn to the ground, tossed away. You whimpered, biting your lip down to keep you quiet. “Tut-tut-tut, I want to hear you, Doll. Stop biting on that pretty lip and let Daddy hear those pretty noises, yeah?” you nodded your head in submission and let go, cries rip from your throat as he pleasured you like no other man could. Following after the foreplay he positioned the tip of his cock at your hole. “B-but what about you?” you asked with innocent eyes making him want to fuck you brain dead until you’re squirting on his cock like a whore. “This is about you, Baby. Let me take care of that aching pussy, alright?”
“Alright,” you agreed. “Atta girl,”
And when I felt like an old cardigan
Under someone's bed
You put me on and said I was your favorite
His cock slid into your cunt and your back immediately arched, bringing you closer to him. He kissed around your body praising you like a goddess, and all you could do was enjoy what you had of him and you loved. Then he began nipping at your skin, sucking on it, purple hues started to appear scattered along your body. His lips reached your ear and his thrust became hard, fast, and brutal. His grip on your waist tightened and was bruising, “Did he fuck you like this? Could he fuck you like this? Could he even make my Good Girl cum?”
“No, never!” you cried.
“Tell me Princess, how’d he fuck you… did you like it?”
“Slow, wasn't hard or fast enough and couldn't make me cum - only you can!”
“That’s right, Baby only I can,”
His hand went right above the small baby bump on your stomach. “You feel my hand right there? Do you even know who the dad is, Doll? Or are you too much of a whore to even know?” you watched as his cock slid in and out of your cunt. “I -'' and you couldn't respond because in all honesty you don't know who the dad was.
“No good, fucking stupid slut.” he barked, his palm hitting your cheek and a burning sesation started tingling.
Suddenly you heard the door knob starting to shake and there was a knock on the door. “Oh shit!” you yelled in shock and pleasure, what were you to do? “Draco, Draco!”
“That’s my name, Doll, don't wear it out.” he laughed. You were trying to fight your orgasm so bad your legs shook with so much force. “Adrian -'' Draco's hips immediately took a halt.
“What the fuck did you just call me?”

Astoria Greengrass would never be Draco’s one true love. That would always be held by You.
Life was truly a cruel one. Especially to Astoria Greengrass. She sat behind as she watched her ex boyfriend fall madly in love with another.
Astoria watched as Draco interlaced your hand with his. How he would bring your locked hand to his lips and place a delicate kiss on it. Draco would look down at you and his eyes would shine with nothing but adoration for you. You held all his love in your hands and you didn’t even know how truly lucky you were to have Draco Malfoy’s devotion.
Astoria shared some acquaintances with Draco. He would always be in her life one way or another. She would always be forced to be with him. There was no way of escaping the two of you. Each time she heard Pansy, Theo and Blaise say “I can’t believe you two are finally together! It’s about time!” it felt as if a stake was being driven through her heart. Her sister was the only one who took into account her pain.
She should’ve known better. She should’ve seen this coming. She knew that he was only dating her to settle because the girl he truly loved was with someone else. He would tell her he loved her but she knew those were nothing more than hollow promises. Words that tumbled out of his mouth with no true meaning.
How could she be so naïve? She saw how Draco reacted to your announcement of dating Ron Weasley. Astoria saw how his eyes darkened in an instant but softened as you ran to engulf him in a hug. Astoria saw how the hug lingered longer than normal, how Draco closed his eyes to take in all of you in that moment. That was the first time she had ever confronted him.
“Why does it bother you so much that she's dating?” Astoria questioned Draco as they arrived at his dorm.
“It doesn’t bother me.” Draco responded as he threw his coat on the nearby chair. It sure does seem like it did.
“I can see it on your face.”
“What exactly can you see?” He turned to face her for the first time since arriving.
“That it bothers you that she is dating Ron Weasley.” She didn’t bother taking her coat off. She wouldn’t stay long.
A small period of silence followed. As if he had been caught.
“He’s a Weasley and I simply think she deserves better than a Weasley.” He walked over to her and placed his arms around her waist. As if trying to placate her. She placed her head on his chest hoping that this was her forever.
She ignored all the signs in front of her in order to hope, wish, plead with fate that Draco would eventually be hers. She didn’t want to let him go. She loved him far too much for that. Blinded by love or simply just foolish? She wouldn’t know the difference.
Why didn’t she just leave him? Merlin, she wishes she knew why...
She had been looking for him everywhere. Draco had promised her that they would spend the evening in each other's comfort. Reading together on the couch of the common room, just like they used to before. Astoria had walked the long halls of Hogwarts in search of a certain blond. It seemed as if the universe was leading her to have her heart broken as her legs carried her up the stairs of the astronomy tower.
She knows she shouldn’t have done it. She shouldn’t have gone to your spot that night, the astronomy tower. This was only going to hurt her and her only.
It felt as if she was interrupting an intimate moment between two lovers. She was, she really was.
“I don’t know what I did wrong Dray.” She was as you cried in the arms of her boyfriend. Draco had his arms wrapped around your frame as he brought you closer to him.
“You didn’t do anything wrong darling.” He wiped the tears from your rosy cheeks with the end of his sleeve. “That git never deserved you.”
“But how come it hurts so much?”
“I’ll never be good enough. Not for him or anyone.”
“You’re perfect. Don’t let anyone ever make you think otherwise.” It was something only meant to be heard by you and you only. Words that held love and affection. Words that held actual meaning, Words that she wished would be spoken to her by the very boy who was whispering delicately to you.
You didn’t respond. You didn’t have to. It seemed to be understood between the both of you.
A part of her died that night...
It all came to crashing down when she had finally gotten the courage to confront him. She didn’t want to do it but she had to.
“I don’t get it Draco! Why is it that you must spend all this time with her?” Astoria questioned him angrily as she paced his room. The argument had ensued after he had skipped dinner once again to bring you yours to your room. Leaving her in embarrassment as the other Slytherin’s looked at her with pity as she told them that he had not shown up for dinner again. They all knew where he was.
“She’s my best friend Tori! I’m not going to leave her. She’s been there for me since we were young.” Draco was frustrated, it showed clearly as he ran his hands through his very messy hair.
“It’s me or her.” She blurted out without thought or maybe it’s what she meant. Deep down she hoped he would choose her.
“This is getting ridiculous! I’m not choosing!”
“It’s me or her.”
“Astoria, please stop th-”
“Me or her Draco! Choose!”
“Her.”
Astoria stopped pacing as she looked up at him with shock painted all over her face. “Are you being serious right now?”
“Her. I chose her.”
It was all he had to say. It was only four words but those four words held so much meaning. She walked toward the door and grabbed the door handle. She stalled, hoping that he would change his mind. “I hope you know this means this is over.”
“I know.” He said simply, no hurt audible in his voice.
Love was never meant to hurt this much...
She shouldn’t have gone up to you that night in the common room. But she did and she greatly regretted it. Astoria didn’t know what she wanted to be the outcome but all that came out was hurt. She saw as you sat at the table doing your work and she couldn’t hold back any longer. Months of pent up anger awaited to be let out. Months of hurt wanted nothing more than redemption.
“You really have no shame do you?” Astoria sneered as you lifted your head at the sound of her voice.
“Excuse you?” You showed confusion at the younger girl's action. You placed your book back down on the table and turned to give her your full attention.
“I find it quite funny you act like you're innocent in all of this.” Astoria rolled her eyes.
“In what exactly am I innocent? I don’t think I ever claimed any innocence.” You had now stood up and were face to face with her.
“You stole my boyfriend and you know it.”
“I didn’t steal anyone and Draco was never your possession to take.” Now it was your turn to roll your eyes as you crossed your arms across your chest.
Anger coursed through her body as she stood face to face with the girl who was the existence of her pain.
“I’m not sorry for falling in love with him.” (Y/N) said after a small period of silence. “I’ll never regret that.”
“You’re nothing more than a sl-
Astoria didn’t get a chance to finish that statement as the boy who was all over walked over to the two girls. He placed himself in front of you and faced Astoria with anger all over his face.
“You don’t get to talk to her like that.”
“Why don’t I? She’s the reason you broke up with me.”
“No. You know the reason we broke up.”
“Because you stopped loving me because of her!”
“I never loved you!” Draco countered quickly. Panic set into his features as he realized what he had said out loud. Whether he said it to hurt her or not. It hurt her deeply. His face switched back from shock to emotionless in seconds. Astoria saw from the corner of her eyes as you looked shocked as well, your hand flying to your mouth.
“I see”, Astoria whispered barely audible to them. The only reason they heard her was because of the silence that had overtaken the room.
Draco didn’t say or spare another look at her. Instead he bent down to grab (y/n)’s things and then her hand to storm up to his dorm. You followed him without any resistance.
Astoria now stood in the middle of the common room as it engulfed her in a suffocating silence. Her vision became blurry as tears that had once threatened to spill now flowed down her face with nothing stopping them.
Astoria now knew she was nothing more than a placeholder for when the girl he truly loved actually loved him back. It was just too damn sad it took all this heartbreak for her to notice she was nothing more than another girl to him. Someone who would be insignificant in his life as the years passed by.
Astoria Greengrass would never be Draco’s one true love. That would always be held by You.

Do Your Job, No Matter What ¬ Draco M.
Tumblr media
Plot - Following your boss's orders was part of the job but you never realised how far he'd take it.
Genre - Smut ♧ {16+ Only}
Pairing - CEO!Draco Malfoy x Fem!reader
Notes/Warnings - Power play plot with porn, harsh names, Dom/Sub, penetrative, choking, unprotected sex with creampie (dont be stupid like them irl). Astoria is the ex-wife in this as I couldn't bring myself to write about a cheater and I apologise in advance if this is terrible, I haven't written smut in years.
Word Count - 2.3k
The day had bled into night and as the gentle rays of sun disappeared, so did your co-workers. Mutters of goodbyes and heels clacking faded till all that remained was the muffled sound of Mr. Malfoy on his conference call.
You were used to being the last one to leave, often deep into the night. A common requirement for a personal assistant was to be there till the boss leaves but unfortunately, Mr Malfoy wasn't exactly rushing home most nights.
The simple hardwood desk was more familiar to you than your own bed nowadays. Nights got later as business got busier and Mr Malfoy became more involved with potential investors, but you never complained. You were always the best and you were planning on staying that way.
"Y/N, get in here!"
Being so involved in the setup for the next morning, you didn't listen out for the conference call or how it ended but from thunderous and rude tone of your boss, you could imagine.
Shuffling to your feet before straightening out your skirt, you made hastily made your way through the large oak doors that housed the king, as you co-workers often joked. You understood their distaste, a powerful and attractive man was already intimidating but Draco always found a way to rub people up the wrong way, except you. You always had a certain affection towards the man, not that you would ever admit it.
Entering the darkened office, you felt your breath catch in your throat as you faced your boss. His once tamed hair, now wisps of silvery blond streaking across his forehead. Veins prominent on pale arms where he had rolled up his sleeves. He stood behind his desk, with one hand leaning on the dark oak table whilst the other nursed a crystal glass of whiskey. Even in his frustration, he still looked like the most powerful man in the country.
Draco lifted his eyes to yours and you felt yourself squirm under his gaze, you'd be lying to say that the man wasn't gracing the thoughts you had in your more intimate moments. This simple act made you think that this could be more than a fantasy with how his eyes traced over you.
"Well that meeting was a total disaster." The man sighed before manoeuvring to sit on what could almost be described as a leather throne. "I told my father that trying to work with Potter Industries was useless but the stupid git wouldn't listen so I had to deal with them bastards for nothing!"
Whilst you tried to focus on his words, your thoughts were more taken with his hands. Strong, thick fingers graced with three solid silver rings and the way they wrapped around the crystal tumbler was so sinful, you let yourself imagine what they would feel like around your neck.
Snapping yourself out of your sinful thoughts, you notice the silence as if Draco had expected a reply to his rant. Whilst he valued your opinion, you weren't sure what to offer.
"I'm sorry they wasted your time sir. Is there anything I can do?" Whilst it sounded innocent enough, part of you couldn’t help but mean it in a suggestive manner.
Draco debated your offer for a moment. He always knew what you thought of him, how your thighs would clench together during car rides where he was just slightly closer than normal or how you would blush at the simplest praise. You were wrapped around his finger.
He knew you wanted him sexually, he too held this secret but he wondered if you were harbouring more than sinful thoughts towards him. He needed to know, to see if he was just seeing what he wanted to see or if there was something between the two of you. Draco knew that by tonight, he would have his answer.
"Come over here" He beckoned.
Obeying before thought, you carefully manoeuvred so you were standing behind the desk and in front of your boss.
Mr Malfoy patted his right thigh in a non-verbal demand for her to sit on his lap. Once again, you were obeying before thought or reason, you gently placed yourself on his muscular thigh, allowing your skirt to ride up.
Draco rested his hand on your exposed thigh, toying with the edge of your tight skirt. With the other hand he gripped your chin in a gentle but firm manner, turning your face to meet his, only centimetres away.
"You know exactly how you can help me"
"I'm not sure what you mean Mr Malfoy"
"Don't play dumb my dear. I see how you look at me, how you respond to me. Would bet money on the fact that you are getting wetter by the second just from being this close to me." His hand inched up closer and if on instinct, your legs moved apart to allow him. The tips of his fingers graced the edge of your panties before pulling them to the side, allowing his fingers to feel your wetness. "Just as I thought, always knew you were my little slut".
He slowly pushed a digit inside, allowing the warmth to coat his pale finger. The action caused a small whimper to leave your lips involuntarily and as you felt the cold metal of his ring graze your folds, you could barely stop the moan from escaping. Draco kept a slow pace, almost teasingly slow. Your body was begging for more but Draco wanted to hear it, needed to hear it. He could see you getting restless at the gentle pace but he needed more from you so he delicately removed his finger, which was met with an annoyed groan from you. Sliding his digit up your soaking slit, he brought his finger to your sense bud. Rubbing in careful circles, you felt your need for Draco grow even stronger.
"Please, I need more"
"Tell me what you want baby"
"I want your fingers. Want to cum. Please make me cum"
This was what he needed, you falling apart for him. Begging for something as simple as him to finger fuck you, and god the sound of you was better than he imagined. A cocky smirk grace his whiskey coated lips before colliding his lips with yours, a collision of tongues and teeth but it was exactly what you both craved. The messy kiss resembled the messy dynamic you were both about to enter.
Placing his attention back on your weeping hole, he broke away from the kiss. You felt your eyes flutter shut as he entered two of his thick digits into you, this time at a harsh speed. Moans were escaping your body as your orgasm built but Draco was quick to drink them up. The combination of the anticipation and how he was perfectly hitting every spot whilst massaging your clit was getting you there quicker than ever before.
Draco could feel your body getting closer to release, clenching and tensing against his fingers. "Cum for me, show me what a little slut you are."
His words were what pushed you over the edge as you came hard all over your boss's hand. You connected your mouths again in a brief moment of ecstasy. Breaking away from the kiss, you rested your head on his shoulder attempting to catch your breath.
You could feel his harden length through his trousers and the feeling alone was enough to make you need more. Carefully grazing your hand over the evident bulge, you felt the man tense under you.
Before you could do or say anything more, the phone rang.
The sharp sounds were enough to remind both of you that you were still in the office and technically still on the clock. Breaking your stare from the phone, you turned to Draco who simply stated "Better answer it sweetie, it is your job after all".
Rolls of frustration filled your body as you wished he would have simply thrown the phone out the window and taken you on the desk but no, here you were. Standing up from his lap, you picked up the phone.
"Hello, Mr Malfoy's Office. Y/N Speaking."
"Oh, Y/N, hello. I was hoping you would answer" You knew that buttery voice, Astoria Greengrass. Ex-wife of the man who just made you cum, of the man you were hoping to fuck.
"Hi Ms. Greengrass, how are you?" As you said her name, you spotted Draco rise from his chair.
Astoria started on a small rant about how hard dating is as a single mum but you could barely focus on her. The blond haired man had made his way behind your figure, and was slowly undressing you. Button after button until your bra-covered chest was exposed, a quick zip of your skirt left you standing in only your panties and finally, Draco decided to rid you of your panties as well with a quick rip of the fabric.
Whilst Astoria talked your ear off, Draco leaned down towards the other and whispered "Be a good girl and do your job, okay".
You shakily nodded whilst attempting to focus on the words the woman was speaking but you were rendered incapable when you felt his enlarged tip tease your folds. You couldn't help but intake a sharp breath.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Astoria paused, she was always a thoughtful woman who made sure Y/N was leaving enough time for herself between work but now here Y/N was, fucking Astoria's ex-husband whilst on the phone to the woman herself.
"Yep, I'm sorry. I jus-" Her sentence interrupted by Draco fully entering her tight pussy. His cock stretching her out in ways she had never experienced, she couldn't help but whimper in an attempt to hold back a moan. "I stubbed my toe really hard. It's all okay truly."
"Always hurts more than it should." You attempted a chuckle at the woman's remark but it became a strangled moan as Draco picked up the pace. Astoria continued "Anyways, sorry for ranting but I was calling to remind Draco about Scorpius' play on Tuesday, can you please make sure his schedule is clear".
"Yes, of course I will." You manage to respond, trying to focus on being professional rather than focusing on your boss pounding you into oblivion.
"Great, I won't keep you any longer. Thank you dear, have a good night."
You replied a quick 'You too' before slamming the phone down. A plethora of pent up moans rushed from your throat as you felt Draco's full size threaten to split you open, you had never felt this full and god, you loved it.
His slender hand wrapped around your neck, pulling you closer to his chest and gaining more force. "What a good little whore you are! Taking my cock like you were built for me". His words made you clench around him which caused an guttural moan to escape the dominant man.
"Please sir, I need more. I need to cum, please." You were close to seeing stars but you needed more, you craved more.
Draco had never felt more powerful than he did at that moment. Slipping out of you before lifting your body as if you were a ragdoll for his amusement, you were now seated against his desk and face to face with him as he re-entered your soaking pussy dangerously slow. The new angles were enough to make your eyes roll to the back of your head, moaning strings of swears as you approached your peak.
The pale businessman pounded you with such force you thought his desk might break under the pressure, holding your hips so tightly that you were sure to have bruises the following morning. Moans of your name graced the man's lips as he approached his orgasm, as his pace faltered and became uneven.
Grabbing your throat with force, Draco brought his face down to yours. "Cum for me."
His words were all you needed as you felt your climax hit you like a freight train. Moaning his name so loudly that you suspected anyone left in the building would have heard. Your vision darkened as the pleasure rolled over you in waves, feeling the release of all the late nights with your hands between your legs whilst fantasies of Draco fuelled you. The reality was better than the fantasy.
Your climax had left you clenching Draco, milking him dry as he released inside of your warm welcoming pussy. All frustration from work was gone, all the desire he felt for you was enhanced, just everything was right in this moment. He felt his cock soften and carefully slipped himself out, watching as his seed slowly trailed down your plump pussy.
Catching your breath, you slipped off the desk before finding yourself in Draco's arms once again. "That was incredible but I am still mad you fucked me whilst I spoke to your ex-wife"
"Very bold aren't I, kitten?. You have to do your job, no matter what" He chuckled. "What did she want anyways?"
"Wanted me to remind you about Scorpius' play on Tuesday." Answering in a nonchalant tone, which is never how you spoke to him but you were now feeling the repercussions of what just happened and were feeling insecurity, causing you to use attempted nonchalance to hide it. "So I guess I will see you tomorrow?"
"Yes, technically. I will see you tomorrow as well but for now, we are heading to back to my house. Have some dinner and see what happens from there." His gaze was often fierce and stubborn but now it was gentle and almost hopeful, showing that he was also scared of what this meant for your relationship, but hoped that you wouldn't reject his offer of something more romantic.
Even with already flushed cheeks, his words caused light blush to appear "That sounds like a perfect plan to me, Draco."
Draco's fears were put to rest as soon as he heard his name roll of your tongue. You may be wrapped around his finger but he was wholly wrapped around yours. Just took a bold move to release the truth.

Love
Summary: Newly engaged, Astoria tries vocalizing her feelings to Draco.
Word Count: 931
Pairing: Astoria X Draco
Warnings: illness
A/N: This was inspired by ‘Love’ by Lana del Rey
-
Astoria debates on holding her tongue.
The sun is streaming in through the large window of Dracos flat, basking her in a low warmth that eases her aches. Beside her, Draco has her feet propped on his knee, one large hand rubbing the arch of her foot, the other holding a book. He’s reading to her, his low voice the only sound echoing in the entire apartment, but it doesn’t sound loud. It's comforting, the way his voice thrums against her ears.
Shirt finely pressed and cufflinks matching, he looked ready for a day out, which was originally their plan. Ever since their engagement they had been overdoing it in the shopping department, spending gross amounts of money on anything they so pleased. Astoria thought it was overkill. Draco thought she deserved it.
Their shopping plans had been dashed by a splintering headache. She tried feigning strength, but eventually the pulsating became too much to bear, and she had to lie down. Draco didn’t mind, he always took her alignments in stride, hating that he couldn’t prevent it but helping her through them all the same.
Pausing, Draco licked the tip of his finger, before flipping a page, his other hand squeezing her heel gently. His grey eyes flick up to hers, and he gives her a shy smile before refocusing on the book.
Sitting up, Astoria pulls her feet from his knee instead curling into his side. She cups his cheek, smiling when he asks what she’s doing, and going silent when she kisses him. He grins into her, kissing her back carefully, one arm winding around her shoulders as she sinks into his embrace.
When she pulls back, that's when she lets it slip.
“Draco,” she murmurs, her lips pressing to the corner of his mouth. “I love you.”
He stiffens, but she pays it no mind, instead running her fingers on his chest soothingly. “I know you might not feel the same, we’ve been together such a short while. But you are so good to me, treat me like I'm…normal. And I think I've fallen for you.”
Draco lifts his hand to her face, fingers soft against her jaw. “Why would I not feel the same, my love?”
Astoria tries not to blush, dips her head so that her forehead is against his chin. “Because I’m sick.”
She feels him inhale, closing the book softly in his hand before placing it on the side table. He shifts, moving them so that she’s forced to look at him.
“Astoria Greengrass,” he says, hands light on her shoulders. “Our coming together may not have been in our control, but since being with you I’m proud to say you’ve changed me for the better. You are kind, selfless, ever so thoughtful. You haven’t a cruel bone in your body. And for all those things and more I love you. I have for a while now.”
She can’t help the smile that spreads across her face. Her arms snake around his neck and she hugs him, laughing softly as he pulls her into his lap. Her fingers dance at the nap of his neck as his arms curl around her frame, holding her to him in a tight embrace.
Taking a breath, Astoria says the next part to her confession, the part that scars her most. “Will it be enough?”
Draco pulls back, gives her a ponderous look.
“I just mean,” she inhales slowly. “Will it be enough to be young and in love? Because I think…I think that's all I have in me.”
Her chest fractures at the sad expression on his face, but she continues because he has to know doesn’t he? She probably won’t make it to old age. She’ll be lucky to make it in the next five years.
“I don’t want to waste your time, Draco.” She whispers. “To be young and in love with you is probably the greatest joy I will have in this life.”
Leaning forward, Draco touches his forehead to hers, eyes fluttering. “I know. I know time is limited. But I’ll spend as much of it as I can with you.”
Astoria blinks away her tears, nodding. Draco reaches for her face, his mouth delicate but insistent on her own. He tests like tea and elderberry.
She pulls him in, kissing him long and hard, keeping him tucked close, the sunshine through the window casting a warm glow upon the two of them, murmuring words of endearment against one another. When they pull away, they’re both panting, like there wasn’t enough air for the both of them, Dracos hands clutching at her like she might disappear at any moment.
Astoria leans her face against the column of his throat, something twisting in her chest, love pouring out of her, spreading into the air. “Promise me something Draco?”
He nods, leaning into the couch and pulling her with him, keeping her flush to his chest. “Anything”
“When the time comes, find someone new.”
He freezes against her, hands gripping harder but she continues, even though it hurts her to say. “Don’t stop loving just because I'll be gone.”
“Astoria-“
“Promise me.” She cuts in, afraid she’ll lose her nerve. He’s silent for a moment, regaining some of his composure, and his fingers run up and down the length of her arm.
His tone is sad, but he presses a kiss to her hair as he mummers, “I promise.”
Squeezing her eyes shut, Astoria holds her fiancé to her, thankful to experience a love like this, even for such a short time.

“hey, tori can I tell you something?” y/n sat down onto her bed, whilst she (Astoria) was painting her nails and reading the witch weekly. “sure babes, anything.” she replied but didn't take off her eyes off the magazine.
Astoria and y/n had been bestfriends since 1st year, although they had some differences, they fought sometimes but nonetheless they were still friends.
“Ikindalikedraco, soidontknowwhattodo—” y/n said quickly, making her sound as if she was squeaking. “woah, woah, what?” Astoriaʼs eyes widened, she can't imagine her friend (well, not really she only uses her if she's bored.) with her crush. No way she would let that happened.
“i like draco okay!” she blurted out, “you like him..?” Astoria was shocked.
“yeah, I do... And I don't know what to do.. Me and him had been friends since probably pre-school, and I don't want to ruin our friendship.”
“yes..how lovely.” astoria forced a fake smile, cursing behind her gritted teeth.
Tumblr media
y/n soon realized that astoria had been spending time with draco a lot, ever since their conversation, about him.
the blonde was painfully not aware about the two girls feelings, he just thought they were being nice.
if he was to chose between astoria or y/n he would silently choose y/n, he did have a tiny crush on her. and for astoria, yes he found her attractive but not in that way.
the brunette sat with draco in the grand hall, she clung onto him like a baby sloth holding onto a branch. “soo, dray do you have plans for this weekend?” astoria gave him cheery smile.
“ive got practice i guess, and...im hanging out with y/n and thats it?” he said unsure of his answer.
“why are you hanging out with y/n, you should hang out with me instead! y/n is pretty boring.” astoria said sweetly.
“but—”
as the pair kept talking about their plans, y/n heard everything. astoria thought she was boring and kept draco away from her? that was low.
y/n wasnt daft, it only took her a minute to guess that astoria was going to steal draco away from her.
fine, if she thought i was boring, lets she how she would react to me gone. y/n thought bitterly.
“yeah, sure i guess i could cancel my plans with y/n.”
wait what? did he really just cancel their plans for some...stupid....rude....back stabbing bitch.
astoria knew how much y/n liked draco, how dare she get close to him? now he sided with her.
this is not fair.
Tumblr media
the next few days, she ignored draco’s attempts of trying to hang out with her.
she was currently walking down the hall and immediately scowled at the scene. it was astoria ,and her gang. y/n couldn't help but eavesdrop. “ugh, honestly y/l/n follows me like a puppy. its disgusting honestly , shes a horrible friend.”
Y/N decided to walk over their little circle, and Astoria was quick to notice. “Heyy y/nnieee! How are you!” astoria said sweetly. “hey tori.” y/n forced a smile. and she walked pass the girls.
“see? shes so bitchy and weird..” astoria said right after y/n was away.
y/n had enough of her bullshit.
Tumblr media
y/n was waiting for a perfect opportunity to confront astoria, but shes always with her friends, draco, and even professors.
did this girl really have to be in everyone's life? y/n thought bitterly.
she was walking around the castle and atlas. found astoria filing her nails, while sitting peacefully in one of the windows of the abandoned hall.
“hello, astoria.” y/n greeted coldly. “oh hi bestie! how are you!” Astoria said sweetly, but y/n knew in those hazel eyes, she was pretending.
“oh cut it out greengrass, i know your secret.” y/n sneered, astoria looked shocked but not surprised. “ah, so you finally know what i thought of you, guess you werent so dumb afterall.” astoria smirked, standing up and walking towards the (your hair color)ed girl.
“you, are such a bitch you told all my sercets to your friend's, and stole draco’s attention from me.” y/n said, anger laced ber used to be sweet and warm voice.
“i honestly thought you were a good person, but guess i was wrong. You are nothing but a back stabbing bitch.” and y/n walked away from the girl.
