Hello again my friend I've been getting really into BioShock it's a really old game that was released in like 2007 I think like a really long time ago and so there's these kind of mechanical semi-human things called a Big Daddy's basically either humans that were stripped away of all of their memories and stuff and basically is a protector to the little sisters that gather Adam which is basically stuff that gives you powers by the parasite implanted into the little girls basically it's a dystopian underwater city and I was wondering maybe some of the Autobots and possibly decepticons (you can choose either one but please have Optimus or Megatron ) and I was wondering if they could meet a reader who was basically a big daddy with the drill and everything and able to control all the plasmids and stuff (sorry if my ask is a little lengthy)

Ok 2 things. 1, I already wrote this but tumblr broke and now I have to do it all again and I wrote a long one to so FUCK YOU TUMBLR!!!! 2nd, there are no such thing as to long of a reqest. TFP Autobots X Mutant Reader

Wanring: mention of experiments, death, and gore.

Optimus was stressed. He was stressed by everything. He was fighting the decpticons and MECH. He didn't know what to do but only to keep going forward. While he was in base, ratchet went up to him with a detapad.

"We have found a single in the ocean. We think it's a cybertronian artifact." "Very well, thank you, ratchet. Prepare the ground bridge." Optimus radios Bumblebee, bulkhead, and smokescreen. They arrive all ready to go

"aww ya! We are about to kick some decpticon pipe!" "Smokescreen, you are going to the bottom of the ocean. You need to be careful since one wrong thing, and you will be crushed by the force!" Ratchet was too quick to calm smokescreen down. Miko runs up to bulkhead but he quickly stops her "no, nuh uh, there's no oxygen in the ocean and we don't have oxygen tanks so you can't come." "Awwwwwwww" miko hangs her head low but nods. She goes back where jack and raph are at.

"Start the groundbridge ratchet." Ratchrt nods and pulls the lever. "Becarful, if one of you get crushed, there is no way of bringing you back." The team nods and runs through the groundbridge. Soon making it on the other side where they stand infront of empty ocean, only filled with rocks, sand, and more.

Optimus pushes his side of his helm to activate the voice channel. "Remmber, we can't speak underwater, so use these voice channels so we can speak through our helms." The teams nod and follow optimus very slowly through the water. After a while, the see lights ahead, though it was very murky. "Optimus, lights!" "I see bulkhead. It seems to be some underwater city." "Bzzzz oooooopppp?" (William Fowler never said they had underwater citys) "they don't Bumblebee, let's keep moving. That's where the single is at."

The team nods and continues to walk toward it. They soon get to the city and enter one of the many large city's. Once they were in a water free room, smokescreen spoke first. "WOW! This place is huge! I mean, look at this stuff! It's so old and rust!" "Pay attention smokescreen. We are on a mission." Bulkhead tells smokescreen with a stern voice.

The team walks further and further down the doors and hallways but soon stops in front of a huge window that looks towards the ocean. Right, but there, they see a weird creature. It had a drill but was repairing the building. "What is that?" Bulkhead says, clearly freaked out. "Ahould we say hi? I'm going to say hi!" Optimus puts hi hand on smokescreens shoulder "no, we do not know if it's friend or foe. We should continue our mission." Smokescreen sighs but nods. Everyone walked and soon entered a room where the single was.

"The artifact is in this room." "Optimus, look!" Bulkhead points to a bunch of dead humans near the edge of the room. They all seem to be killed in a brutal way. Some of them where gutted, some of them where missing limbs or heads, or are just cut in half. "Bzzzzzzz" (i don't want to be here any more....) "I agree with Bumblebee. Miko and I have seen enough horror movies to know somone is gonna die!" "Calm youreself. What humans make are not real." Optimus says and he continues to walk toward the edge of the room where the wall is.

"Bzzzzzzz" (the scanner says the artifact is on the other side) "The let's break it!" Bulkhead pulls out his wrecker ball. "No, we are surrounded by water. We do not want to cause more damage." Bulkhead sighs but puts his blasters away. When optimus was about to figure out how tingen the artifact, he hears guns being aimed. He and the autobots turn and find Silas there, with few of his men aiming at them.

"Well, well, well, dident know you autobots will he here." "Silas, why are you here." Optimus says while he aims his blaster at them. "Why do you think? I'm here to get that artifact of you'res." "You are not getting this artifact." "So be it, fire!" His squad fires at optimus and the autobots. The autobots take cover and watch as MECH shoot holes into the wall, causing water to spray in.

"Stop! You are gonna kill youreselfs!" "If it means taking you down, so be it." Silas says while he keeps shooting. Suddenly, everyone hears drilling and some MECH grunts further in the building screaming. "What the hell is going on out there?!?!" Silas yells at his men while he keeps shooting at the autobots. "There's a strange Mutant!" Before anyone could respawn, a MECH grunt get thrown through a wall and into the room.

There, in the hole in the wall, is a big daddy. He had a drill and a gun for hands, and his eyes were red. "Definitely foe, definitely Foe!!!" Smokescreen screams while looking at the Mutant in horror. The Mutant charges forward and attacks the MECH grunts who are shooting at it. Drilling and shooting them. The autobots watch in horror how this Mutant is killing them all. When the mutant looks toward the autobots way, the team asks their blaster at it, but optimus stops them. "Stop, it's only attacking people who are damaging the buildings or shooting at it." When the team hesitates, he nods his head. They lower their wepons and watch the Mutant change it's attention back on MECH, who was still shooting at it.

They watch it attack MECH going through them like nothing. Optimus singles them to get the artifact. They go up to the wall and find a lever. There, they open the wall and there is the artifact. When the team tries to flea, they are met with the mutant corning Silas who was shooting at it. They watch in horror as the Mutant drills into Silas, his screams echoing off the walls. Soon he dies. When the Mutant looks at them they freeze. It just stairs and it's eyes go back to normal. It then just walks away.

"Ratchet, groundbridge... we got the artifact..." When ratchet opens it, they go through and tell ratchet and William Fowler everything. Fowler sends a team to get the Mutant and finds out it was created by the Russians who lost control of it and killed all of its scientists. It was taken back to the USA, and worked on. They made it where it could think but not speak. The autobots welcome it and it joins the team. They find out the name of there new Ally.

Something about Altered Loyalties CYLAS just really makes me want to include him in the first place but also makes me really really REALLY think that with the more supernatural elements of AL based off of the original TFP pilot (or just first episode/s?) that CYLAS as a ‘dead man walking’ would actually let him stay around longer AND also be a very significant contributing factor to Megatron’s downfall in Decepticon favour!

Of course it’s not as if I have the pieces of the TFP rewrite au firmly put into place, CYLAS in canon shows up just over halfway into season 2, and many of my most established changes occur in the first like… including all the parts of ‘Darkness Rising’ 8 episodes of season one; I have no idea if the environment CYLAS presents himself in is the same one canon CYLAS does.

But with the dubiousity between s1 e8 all the way to s2 e19, I’ll establish the basic context… I think in story mode maybe…

Looking at the general timeline for the Aligned Continuity, it says that the first contact of cybertronians on Earth is dated to about 500 years before the show, give or take a decade. I’ve been listing Skyquake’s little EHP pitstop to have existed at least 50 years before the war reached our planet, but what if I pushed it all the way back to 500; if a vorn is 83 years, that’d be about 6 years on an entirely different planet not knowing truly if your twin is going to make it, a planet which by the way presently has no established radio systems that it’s horrifically quiet for a terrestrial environment.

That means that Skyquake’s EHP Comms Array has been transmitting a signal long before humans had developed radio, which also means that what might’ve been blatantly an anomaly in the system if discovered 50 odd years previous to 2012 (which would’ve been in the 60s give or take which would not have been good in the literal middle of the cold war era) has been going for centuries because it had always been there, there is no anomaly because it is a signal that has existed ever since humans were able to manipulate radiowaves into sending messages and translate them into detectable noise. It helps that cybertronian language and code (both code lang and like literal programming code) is a system unknown to humans developing their own language.

And you may be asking, why did I divert this post from talking about CYLAS and how he’d outlast his canon alternate to radio shit? Well, if you were a paramilitary organisation who is pretty good at erasing signals and you discovered a signal that has been actively running for the entirety of human radio has suddenly been silenced, what would you begin to suspect at that?

Aliens may potentially be a stretch but MECH didn’t just name themselves after the cybertronians fighting war on their planet, and once the cybertronian conflict touched down on Earth, the Decepticons hadn’t a need for an intergalactic communications array and in fact was specifically instructed to switch it off in an effort to prevent the Autobots from using it. That would’ve been about maybe 6 years ago for the show (wow just enough equivalent time to match what Skyquake felt he spent grounded to one radio tower look at that) and though MECH would not encounter their first cybertronian until ‘Convoy’ (haha wait that’s s1 e9 the next ep to cover - if necessary - for Altered Loyalties lmao), they would’ve had 6 years to find that missing signal and stumble across some very definitely alien technology.

That is one of the reasons why the rewrite of ‘Masters and Students’ which is less masters and students focused - rather the point is Skyquake, a team of Nemesis stationed vehcions and Starscream investigate the comms array and set it up manually - why the radio tower wasn’t switching on from a remote position.

The other reason was because the Guardian unit stationed at the comms array - the very ones that had accompanied Skyquake all those stellar cycles ago - had gone missing. Why?

Because of Megatron’s flagrant use of Dark Energon.

Points 1 and 2 listed above leads to the explosion of the comms array, the death of Skyquake, and MECH either being alerted to the point of alien contact or just in general going to the site for more study only to find a dead specimen. After the discovery of the Autobots with the body of Skyquake, MECH begins their initial study and dissection of cybertronian physiology, though without a live subject they couldn’t exactly see what parts function in what way, especially the t-cog.

The discovery of Skyquake led to the discovery of terrorcons which lead to the discovery of how to take down a cybertron and how to take it apart without it screaming. MECH would learn the programming of a cybertronian through vehicon terrorcons since, even with DE corruption, their processors are still somewhat being maintained. While probably not able to access memories (they are fickle things, memory centres, easy to damage storage or to corrupt files) there are still systems responsible for pain and other more processor based responsibilities that aren’t centred in a physical organ that reads in fine print it’s function.

Breakdown being MECH’s first fully functional living mecha for their study is so exciting for them (even if Breakdown is very much less enthused) because they can put what knowledge they’ve pieced together to be far more efficient with their time and focus on the elements they could not decipher from either corpse or zombie and potentially try and prod at Breakdown’s brain for some cohesive coding. Good think Bulkhead still shows up when he does even with Breakdown walking away with the dreadful thought of ‘how the hell do these fleshies already know so much’ boring into his head… mainly through the optic that was still drilled out-

Whether or not MECH needs to get another living cybertronian to get caught up in their understanding of the biomechanics of them (aka would 'Operation: Bumblebee' take place as it does) or they skip right onto making a remote control Prime having gotten a headstart on their knowledge and scaring the scrap out of any bot unlucky enough to be unconscious around them, eventually Silas gets smooshed and MECH scientists are reliant on their alien dissections to get the human puree back to the land of the living.

I'd assume that this was the case in the original since if Silas' biomatter was able to be collected from a pile of robot drone induced rubble the RC truck would've been able to be recovered as well, but MECH discovers that using Nemesis Prime as a lifesupport system does not work given all it's functionality is focused on visually replicating another cybertronian, rather than using it to create life. There's a lot of parts and systems to a cybertronian's biological ecology that wasn't put into consideration for a mimic toy that prove detrimental to creating a suitable ah... skin suit essentially for Silas' blood pudding, but MECH has an abundance of corpses ready and raring to be used just so long as they piece them back together again.

Amid MECH's collection would no doubt be a mass of vehicon bodies - some untouched by energon others taken down explicitly by MECH because they were terrorcons - some terrorcons made up from the bodies of the previous conflict pre-show (and not just a hypothetical ancient war, but explicitly the conflict that culled a lot of Autobot and Decepticon officers amid the show expected vehicon death), and the very first cybertronian sample they started studying, Skyquake himself! Being at the origin of the blast at the EHP Comms Array he wasn't kept in perfect condition for one, the arm he loses as a terrorcon in the Shadowzone is still lost - it's been buried under rubble after being severed with radio tower pieces - and the monochromatic glass over his optics has long since been shattered so you can see the 'pupil' aka sensor, but seeing as how CYLAS makes Breakdown's corpse somehow look worse than what Airachnid left it as MECH probably has to suture that fucker back up because there's not way his organs have been left untouched!

And once CYLAS has been successfully integrated into his new cybertronian shell (some sort of arm, either being a loaner from another corpse or straight up just one MECH invented, it could even be a copy of the missing arm but where's the fun in that) instead of getting all high and mighty about 'being of a superior species' Silas actually bloody thinks on MECH's plans going forward. With a literal army of paramilitary personnel, from the scientists that melded human flesh with cybertronian wires to the average grunt soldier fighting between the battles of iron giants, CYLAS has something that Megatron (at least the Altered Loyalties Megatron I have written previously) has wanted from the start of the series...

An undying force.

For as large as cybertronians physically are their numbers can never match the scale of humanity, I can't remember if the books mentioned only thousands of the dead or up to a million over the course of like... a long fucking time but, that's not even the number of the human population if you're caught up with the number (nearly 8 billion alive today). And with the dead of previous battles already roaming the Earth, in a world where Megatron still being only like one dude can't command a planet wide population of zombies, the only reason he doesn't turn his blade to the weakest denominators of his forces in his plagued state is because their conscious decision to serve him is worth more than mindless servitude.

CYLAS introducing himself and MECH as a solution to this issue, and providing a show of bountiful body horror, makes not even the Decepticon high command quite as safe as they had been; not that it's been proven to be safe standing by Megatron's side given his track record of wanting his SiCs beaten or killed but...

The fact that CYLAS just so happened to have given and then promptly brutalised Dreadwing's hope that Skyquake may have been actually alive, just severely damaged (and, bond weakened from distance and prior injury, clinging to the last shreds of 'my spark didn't kill me with him' reasoning) and broke him out of the spell of blind loyalty to his once great leader.

CYLAS in this version has a little bit more longevity to his existence within the Decepticon forces, not actually a Decepticon soldier as the canon CYLAS pledged himself as but 'The Human Factor' the episode so calls itself akin to the way the American government and the human children are to the Autobots, but being able to physically go toe-to-toe with cybertronians. Megatron might be a little tired of dealing with independents after Airachnid's escapade (I do intend to make her more into a poacher/torturer type character than another Starscream so she might act out a little differently), but Silas isn't one for licking boots anytime soon and as CYLAS, Megatron is no different; you'd think he wouldn't have even done that in the first place given he's already an ex-military 'take-no-nonsense' bitch, but the Breakdown in him probably made him a lapdog...

Anyway that's a whole big post about Altered Loyalties CYLAS... or at least the in depth reasoning behind why he could still integrate himself into the story and why he'd probably have more opportunity to lasting- i prommy it's not bc i like torturing skyquake likers *wink*

I guess this is now a canon event or at least I'll try to make it canon ;)

@Drack0shka : Jack was kidnapped by MECH along with Breakdown and now Megatron is just freaked out at the real prospect of his little one being hurt again at the hands of his own species, and personally goes to the rescue and that no one has seen him in such terrifying and furious state for a long time. Time had passed since Jack's discovery in that mine, and now the boy was 8 years old, although that didn't mean much to the Decepticons. They still couldn't hide their surprise when they saw that it had simply taken the child two years to grow in size and intelligence.

If Shockwave had been around, he would have wanted to take a closer look at this phenomenal growth, while constantly talking about how impressive it was. Jack would surely have argued that many animals grow much faster than him, with some only needing three years or less to be an adult.

That was already the answer he gave to Megatron, also explaining that humans don't live as long as Transformers. It still saddened the leader of the Decepticons, although he kept it to himself.

Jack knew all of these things from Soundwave's lessons, and Starscream's insistence that it was important for the child to learn about the human world.

Of course, the boy had never left the Nemesis, much to his dismay. But the ex-gladiator didn't want Jack to face real humans, who knew what they were going to do to him?! They had already hurt Jack once, how could Megatron be sure they weren't going to do it again?

The leader of the Decepticons was already against the child knowing the human world and its history, but this time he could not do anything against Starscream, who was much more stubborn than him.

The inevitable thing was of course that Jack now wanted to leave the Nemesis, to travel and discover the outside world, despite the clear reluctance of the ex-gladiator. Soundwave had offered to make him explore a few places, but each time it had been aborted by Megatron.

The Communications Commander quickly obeyed, never having to kind of go against his friend's demands. So it was only natural that Jack went to the Seeker. But this time again, the leader of the Decepticons intervened, clearly indicating his refusal to this idea, which led to an argument between the ex-gladiator and the jet.

“You're not going to leave him locked up here forever?! cried out Starscream, wings high.

- It's still me who decides in this ship, so you will just do as I order you and stop arguing!

- It's a stupid order, like many others!

- Pardon?!

- Jack has the right to discover things other than with pictures! You think you are doing this for his own good, but sequestering him is in no way beneficial to him!

- I'm not sequestering him!!

- Can you give me the definition of sequestering in this case?!

- …

- So?!

- Jack is not a hostage!

- All the same, you prevent him from going out!

- I don't even see why I'm arguing with you, I refuse to let him go out with you, and that's an order!

- Primus! What do you want to happen to him?!

- Stop discussing my orders!

- You can't even find answers for me!"

Jack watched the whole thing utterly distraught, and gasped when Megatron slapped Starscream. The Seeker staggered before putting a hand on his cheek, and couldn't hide a certain surprise, because it had been at least two years since the leader of the Decepticons had hit him.

Both robots heard small footsteps crossing the hallway, and saw Jack running away from them, clearly fleeing the scene. The child could not prevent the guilt from growing in him, whereas because of him Megatron and Starscream had argued… He had never wanted it to happen like this…!

But now the boy wanted to get out, to get away from here for a while, away from all that! He didn't want to see Megatron and Starscream fight…! Jack finally arrived in the medical bay, and he saw Breakdown and KnockOut hugging, before the doctor said:

“Good luck with your mission.

- Don't worry, with a bit of luck I might come across an Autobot, and I'll crush them! smiled the military car.

- I hope so!

- Where are you going, Breakdown? the boy asked, stepping closer.

- Oh, hello kid! said the blue robot, kneeling down in front of the child.

- Breaky is going on a mission. replied the sports car, while storing medical equipment.

- Really? Jack smiled, his eyes shining with interest.

- Yep!" nodded Breakdown.

The boy was silent for a while, and scratched his head, before asking:

"Hey… Can I come with you?"

The couple looked at the child in surprise, then the ex-Wrecker turned his head to his Sparkmate, waiting for a response from him, but KnockOut just shrugged.

"Uh… Well that depends, Megatron okay with that? Breakdown asked.

- Of course! Jack lied.

- Well why not in this case. But cover up a bit, it's cold there.

- You don't think it's dangerous to take him with you on a mission? asked the doctor, taking the military car aside.

- Don't worry, I'm just going to tag a source of energon spotted by Starscream, it won't be long, and the danger is really minimal.

- The Autobots are like scraplets, there is a good chance that one of them will disturb you…!

- I'll be careful, don't worry, and look at him."

Breakdown pointed to Jack, whose eyes were bright with excitement at the thought of going outside.

“It's obvious that he's dying to do go. finished the ex-Wrecker.

- …

- And then, Megatron agreed.

- Well, okay…”

The military car approached the child, then said:

"Come on kid, get ready! We leave in ten minutes!

- Yeah! Awesome!!"

The two left the medical bay, and KnockOut sincerely hoped they hadn't made a mistake.

Megatron had been looking for Jack for at least an hour now, without being able to find him. He had however searched in all the places where the child took refuge, when he wanted to avoid the leader of the Decepticons after a too abrupt reaction, but saw him nowhere.

The ex-gladiator knew he had to apologize to Jack for his action, but for that did he still have to find him… Megatron also knew that the boy would want the leader of the Decepticons to apologize to Starscream, but the ex-gladiator was going to try to convince Jack not to have to!

Even more time passed, and he still couldn't find Jack. Megatron would be lying if he said he wasn't worried, when his mind couldn't help but imagine worst-case scenarios, such as the child being stuck somewhere in the Nemesis, or in a room that was forbidden to him, such as the engine room…!

The leader of the Decepticons began to beg Primus, promising that if he found Jack safe and sound he would apologize to Starscream, even if that pest didn't deserve it. Oh! And that he would let Jack go out at least once a week, somewhere away from humans.

It was then that the ex-gladiator was called by the Seeker, who kept a certain distance. Megatron scowled, already stressed enough by Jack's absence. He groaned and turned to the jet, which tensed as he eyed him warily and angrily.

"What?! hissed the leader of the Decepticons.

- Soundwave reported to me that Breakdown has a problem. He have been captured. Starscream answered, keeping a certain seriousness about the military car situation.

- By the Autobots?

- … No, by humans.

- Humans?

- Yes.

- I'm not going to allow my time for a robot weak enough to get caught by humans!

- But- 

- There are no buts, I have other things to do!

- Oh really?! What's more important than one of your soldiers needing help?!

- I'm looking for Jack right now, I can't found him!

- He's in the ship! Surely if you didn't behave like a brute he wouldn't avoid you! We have a real problem here! Are you really going to let those humans dissect Breakdown and uncover our secrets?!

- Breakdown is in danger?!" cried out a voice.

The duo turned to KnockOut, and Megatron put a hand to his face, before groaning.

"Great… "

Starscream sighed, before answering:

“He was abducted by humans.

- What?! You're going to help him, aren't you…! Oh, scrap…! And... And Jack?! Is he OK ?! Do you know?!

- What's the connection with Jack?"

The Seeker tilted his head in confusion, while the leader of the Decepticons frowned, not understanding the doctor's question.

"Jack go with Breakdown, did you forget? asked the sports car.

- What??!!" cried out Megatron, horrified.

The jet raised his wings in shock at KnockOut's statement, while the ex-gladiator beamed with rage behind him. The doctor didn't know where to go anymore, as he faced the wrath of the two robots.

“I never allowed Jack to leave with Breakdown!! yelled the leader of the Decepticons, leaning towards the sports car.

- How could you even think it was possible?! Starscream fumed, also closing in on KnockOut.

- I will never send my child on a mission!!

- It's only tracking… tried to argue the doctor.

- Even!! cried out the Seeker. It's still dangerous!

- Oh, so now going outside is dangerous for him! Megatron growled. In fact, you objected only to piss me off earlier! Little hypocrite!

- I never said that! I said going on a mission was dangerous for him! You senile old man!"

The leader of the Decepticons roughly grabbed the jet by the shoulders, and cried out:

"Don't test me, Starscream!

- That's right! Take your anger out on me, while Jack is in danger!"

The ex-gladiator shoved the flyer away, and called Soundwave through his comm, ordering him to take him to where Breakdown's position was last reported. Starscream rubbed his shoulders in pain, while giving Megatron a death stare. KnockOut moved closer, then asked:

"Are you okay?

- Do I look okay?! the Seeker snapped. Because of you and your stupid partner, Megatron yells at me for nothing and Jack is-”

The jet stopped in his rant when he saw the doctor's pained and worried look, both for the child and for his Sparkmate. There was also guilt, and the flyer didn't feel like amplifying that feeling at KnockOut. Starscream sighed heavily, shaking his head, and decided to follow his idiot leader to save this unconscious child!

“Are you really going to abandon Breakdown?! asked the doctor.

- … You heard Megatron, he's not worth it…

- And you, is that what you think…?"

The Seeker walked away from the sports car, not answering the question.

Jack looked around fearfully, not knowing what to do…! The bad guys had taken Breakdown somewhere, and by trying to help him, the kid had only succeeded in putting himself in danger as well…!

The boy banged on the door of the room he was locked in, ordering his kidnappers to let his friend alone. He tried everything he could to free himself, but still without success.

Jack gave a start of surprise when the door opened in front of him and a man with large scars on his face walked towards him. The child recoiled in fear, while the one who seemed to be the leader of the bad guys advanced towards him.

"R- Release Breakdown! cried out the boy.

- I don't think it's possible. smiled the man. You see, this machine has a lot to tell us, and there's no way we'll miss it.

- His name is Breakdown, he's a Transformer, not a machine!"

The leader smiled dangerously, then said:

"You seem to know things, kid, tell me more."

- …! No!

- It's up to you, I'm just offering you a painless alternative."

The scarred man motioned to the soldiers beside him, then ordered:

“Make him talk!"

He turned his back on Jack, and greeted him with a deceptively friendly air, before saying:

“I'm going to pay your friend a visit, we'll see if he survives."

The child could not hide his horror, as the leader left the room, leaving the boy at the mercy of his soldiers.

Megatron and Soundwave quickly arrived at the location, and the leader of the Decepticons wasted no time in shouting Jack's name. The Communications Commander quickly silenced him, then pointed to wheel tracks in the mud, as well as footsteps, some smaller than others.

“Let's go!" exclaimed the ex-gladiator.

They noticed that Breakdown and Jack had been separated at a moment, the two not being locked in the same place. Megatron frowned, as Soundwave was about to send Laserbeak to help Jack, so they could save Breakdown. But the leader of the Decepticons stopped him, before saying:

"Jack is more important than that incompetent! It's because of him that Jack is in danger in the first place! He got what he deserves!"

The spy plane hesitated for a moment, before finally nodding. The two walked towards the shed where Jack was locked up, unaware that they were being followed closely by Starscream.

The Seeker had first thought of revealing himself to the other two, but quickly backed down. A strange feeling run through him as the words of KnockOut kept spinning in his head, preventing him from making a decision… The jet turned his head towards the base the ex-Wrecker was locked in, and frowned, while his wings lifted with determination!

Megatron and Soundwave arrived in front of the hangar, and the leader of the Decepticons suddenly heard screams coming from it! His Spark jumped into his spark chamber, and he angrily ripped off the door, throwing it away!

The humans froze when they saw the large silver robot, and let go of their grip on Jack, who fell to the ground clutching his sides. Megatron felt his whole being burnt, and screamed in rage, before firing a massive cannon at the soldiers who started shooting at him!

“I will make you pay for your audacity! Miserable vermin!!"

Silas heard a huge explosion in the distance, and his computers told him that the building the child was in was on fire. He didn't even have time to be confused when a big crash was heard in the base!

Breakdown looked on in surprise, unable to know who it could be… The Decepticons had abandoned him, and the Autobots had no interest in coming to help him.

Starscream brushed off the vermin that persisted in shooting him with their ridiculous weapons, and when he got to the main room, he wasted no time firing a missile at the humans he saw!

Silas and some scientists manage to dodge the explosion, but are still thrown by the detonation. The MECH leader swore, before struggling to his feet as the military car stared at the jet in surprise.

“Starscream?! wondered the ex-Wrecker.

- Come on, move your big aft!" growled the Seeker.

He ripped Breakdown's restraints and lifted him forcefully, before grabbing his arm, and rushing outside.

“Jack… He- started the military car.

- Lord Megatron and Soundwave are on it!" the jet cut in.

The duo saw another explosion in a nearby building, and couldn't hide a certain surprise, as a large black smoke started to invade the sky.

Megatron and Soundwave faced helicopters, and the leader of the Decepticons quickly picked up Jack, before pulling him closer to protect him from the relentless human attacks. The Communications Commander deployed Laserbeak, which soon retaliated against the helicopters.

The ex-gladiator fired a cannon at one of them, determined to make them pay for attacking Jack! The pilot dodged the attack, and pulled out a new weapon, before shooting Soundwave. The spy plane was suddenly hit by a ball of electricity, which sent him against one of the walls of the building!

“Soundwave!" cried out Megatron and Jack, horrified.

Starscream and Breakdown dodged the helicopter attacks, Silas being in one of them. He took his radio, then ordered:

“I want at least one of them a bit intact, and preferably alive!

- Roger!" replied the pilots.

The MECH leader received a communication from the soldiers who were dealing with the culprits of the destruction of one of the buildings, and smiled when one of his men exclaimed:

"One of them is down!

- Keep it up!" Silas said.

Megatron quickly approached Soundwave with a worried look, while Jack cried. Laserbeak beeped in distress calling for his host, hoping he would wake up.

The leader of the Decepticons destroyed the helicopter that had dared to attack his friend, before taking out his sword, and swinging it towards the too daring humans! They had dared to attack Jack and Soundwave, and Megatron swore he was going to make them bitterly regret it!

The ex-gladiator grabbed one of the helicopters in his hand and crushed it in his palm, before trying to crush the cars that kept shooting at him with their machine guns!

Silas activated the electric weapon in his vehicle, then pointed at the larger one. He was the one who was going to be the hardest to knock out, better deal with him now!

Starscream saw the gun pointed at Breakdown, and knew he had no time to warn him…! The Seeker tore off part of the metal roof, and threw it in front of the ex-Wrecker, a little above. Electricity attacked the highest point, setting its sights on the metal plate.

The military car gave a start of surprise, while the jet aimed a missile at the helicopter which contained the leader of this damned organization. He was going to get rid of him here and now! Suddenly, his motion radar activated, as Breakdown yelled at him:

"Watch out!"

Starscream jumped, narrowly dodging a brutal electric shock, which exploded the ground where he was originally. The Seeker raised his wings in anger, before transforming into his jet mode, and flying above the helicopters!

Breakdown tackled the MECH agents in the cars, while the flyer took care of the sky. Starscream was quick to get rid of most of the flying vehicles, but when he wanted to deal with Silas and his other soldiers, they had already retreated.

The Seeker landed and hissed angrily, before crossing his arms. Breakdown moved hesitantly closer to him, and the jet didn't really look at him, not wanting to see the ex-Wrecker's missing optics.

"They did a number on you… the flyer remarked simply, not knowing what else to say.

- Oh yeah…"

There was a somewhat awkward silence, before the military car tried to break it, saying:

"By the way, thank you for-

- Shut up, I don't want to hear anything! Starscream snapped. You cause me enough trouble!"

He motioned for Breakdown to follow him, then continued:

"Let's go help Megatron and Soundwave instead!

- They are here too?! wondered the ex-Wrecker.

- You really think that Megatron was going to abandon Jack?!

- I… I don't know… uh…

- We will also have to discuss! What you did was stupid and reckless!

- You speak as if I had intentionally let myself be captured!

- No! Your stupidity is in taking Jack with you!

- Lord Megatron agreed…!

- Did you hear it from his mouth?!

- …

- You have your answer!"

Megatron had ended up slaughtering all the humans around him, it was carnage but he did his best so that Jack didn't have to see it. He moved closer to Soundwave who was coming to his senses with difficulty, clutching his chest in pain.

The leader of the Decepticons helped him to his feet, while Laserbeak approached his host, squealing in concern. Jack wept silently, and the ex-gladiator thought for a moment of scolding him, of showing him what his recklessness had done. It had put the child in danger, but not only, Soundwave also could have been really hurt, even worse, all because the boy had had the brilliant idea to disobey!

But Megatron recoiled when he saw how guilty Jack already felt. The leader of the Decepticons thought about the fact that it was not necessary. Of course, he was going to scold the child, but not now. First they had to make sure Soundwave and the boy were fixed.

That's when they heard a jet engine sound coming their way, and the ex-gladiator saw Starscream land, with a hint of surprise. He was about to ask him what he was doing there, when he saw another vehicle coming towards them. Breakdown returned to his root mode, and hesitantly approached the group.

"What are you doing here?! Megatron fumed.

- Uh… I… stammered the military car.

- Go away, there's no way I'll accept a robot like you into my ranks!

- Lord Megatron!" the Seeker interjected angrily.

The leader of the Decepticons glared at the jet, before Jack exclaimed:

"Breakdown!"

He reached for the ex-Wrecker, and wanted to get down, but he was too high for that. The blue robot greeted him softly, as the child cried with relief and grief.

“You are alive… but… your optic…

- Oh, it's nothing little guy. Don't worry!" Breakdown tried to reassure.

Megatron huffed, frowning, and Starscream moved closer, before whispering:

“Even if you don't like Breakdown, Jack loves him, think about him.

- That's what I'm doing! the leader of the Decepticons replied discreetly. Breakdown was unable to protect Jack!

- We don't have the luxury of losing a soldier, remember we are in war!

- Remember who's in charge here, Starscream!

- …”

The Seeker glared deathly at the ex-gladiator, wings high, and hissed:

“Put yourself together…! Or I assure you that Jack won't be able to stop me from sinking my claws into your fragging Spark!"

The two robots faced each other angrily, before the boy stammered:

"You are fighting…?

- Oh no, don't worry! Everything's good ! smiled the jet. Just a discussion about Breakdown.

- Me?! wondered the concerned, with a touch of fear.

- Yeah. Megatron growled.

- You see, Jack, Lord Megatron is very angry against Breakdown, he doesn't want him to come back to the Nemesis.

- What?!" cried out Jack, horrified.

Megatron roughly grabbed Starscream's arm, and growled:

"What are you doing?! You're making me look like the bad guy!

- You asked for it…! replied the Seeker curtly.

- No arguing!" the child exclaimed, calming the two robots.

The jet rubbed his arm in pain, before leaning over to the boy, and asking him:

“And you, what do you think? After all, Breakdown took you with him, it was very dangerous. Especially since he wasn't even able to protect you!

- S- Stop…! Breakdown panicked.

- It's… It's not his fault…! Jack defended vigorously. It was me who lied to him, telling him that you were ok with me going, Megatron… I'm sorry… And then, when the bad guys arrived, there was also an Autobot and…

- An Autobot?! You fought against an Autobot while Jack was there! the leader of the Decepticons got angry.

- You can see that I'm fine!

- That's not the problem!"

Starscream glared at the ex-Wrecker, who quickly looked away. Soundwave activated all his senses, to check if there weren't the presence of other robots.

"If the Autobots find out about Jack, they'll try to take him from us, do you understand that?! cried out Megatron angrily.

- I… I didn't know… I… spluttered the military car.

- There is also a possibility that the Autobot didn't see anything. Which Autobot that was? the Seeker intervened.

- Bulkhead.

- This big barrel is as smart as a rust worm, we should be fine. We better go!"

The Communications Commander opened a portal, when another formed nearby. Optimus came out, and Starscream took Jack from his leader's hand, then passed him to Soundwave. He grabbed Megatron's arm, when the latter had already drawn his sword.

"It's not the moment! Come on!" cried out the Seeker.

The leader of the Decepticons saw the other Autobots exit, and had to resist more and more against the jet, who was doing his best to pull him with him into the portal. The ex-gladiator groaned, before pushing Starscream into the land bridge, and entering as well. The Autobots watched the portal close, and Ratchet huffed, before saying:

“I have to admit that I'm surprised they bothered to help Breakdown."

Optimus frowned, as he could have sworn he saw a human with the Decepticons.

After this event, Jack was obviously punished, after having been repaired by KnockOut, just like Breakdown and Soundwave. Despite what had happened, Starscream didn't let go of the idea that the child should go out of the ship sometimes, which did not fail to annoy Megatron.

Yet he thought he had been very clear, especially when recent events had proven that it was too dangerous for the boy. The Seeker argued that it was precisely necessary to ensure that the exterior does not become a trauma for Jack, and that overprotecting him will never be beneficial to him.

Strangely, this argument had much more effect on Megatron than he would have thought. The leader of the Decepticons was still trying to come up with a counter argument, but he had to realize, much to his dismay, that Starscream was right.

The best way to keep Jack from doing something so dangerous again was to give him a little more liberty, so he didn't feel like he had to lie or sneak away. Which would be much more dangerous.

Thus a new routine settled in the Nemesis, once in the week, Jack left to explore a new place with one of the Decepticons, depending on the place he wanted to visit. Always under the watchful eye of Soundwave.

I saw a Youtube comment talking about how, in the episode "Crosscross," Silas was able to track Jack's location and personal info via social media, so why didn't the Decepticons just do THAT all this time, so they could track the humans/Autobot base?

Then all the commenters agreed that it's because the CAPTCHA "I am not a robot" thing actually works on Decepticons, because they are, in fact robots.

I love this and it shall now be my crack headcanon.

(In all seriousness, I actually don't think it's a plot hole. I think it's a great example of the Decepticons' characterization.

The real reason Decepticons never tried social media tracking is because they're too proud to use human technology. To them, it's considered "inferior."

I'm fascinated by the idea that, if they hadn't underestimated human technology, they could have found all these Autobot secrets, like the location of their base and humans, EASILY. But they never bothered, because "oh, that's worthless human tech."

Keep in mind, in one episode, Starscream actually did explore the human internet, and almost located Bumblebee that way, but the others made fun of him for it (the tap-dancing monkey incident) so we can see they don't respect it enough to give it their time.

It also kinda shows how MECH, to some extent, has an advantage against the Autobots because they're all humans, and are therefore better aquatinted with Earth. Even Airachnid didn't realize social media would be a useful weapon until Silas explained it to her. The Decepticons are obviously more powerful since they're giant aliens, but MECH uses their humanity and Earth knowledge as their greatest strength. It's kinda neat.

Very funny that the evil human organization in TFP is called M.E.C.H when it’s given that, in universe, “mech” also apply to a transformers with male characteristics.

Imagine landing in an alien planet of little frog pixies, and a group of them is hunting you down to dissect and deform you. And what is this group called?

Fowler hadn't really expected things to turn out like this, he had other plans for today. But he somehow had to abort them all, after his unfortunate encounter with MECH.

He could now add "being kidnapped by a group of terrorists" to his list of the worst days of his life, right after "being kidnapped by giant robots", and "discovering the existence of the robots in question".

Fowler knew Silas would show up soon, and he clearly had no intention of telling him anything, no way. He wasn't a government agent for nothing!

He waited for a long time, alone, strapped to this chair, but he wasn't particularly scared or anything like that. The feeling he felt was mostly boredom. It was then that he heard the door to his cell open, and he saw the MECH leader enter, accompanied by two henchmen.

“Oh, the Grinch is here! Hi ! Fowler sneered. Christmas is not for now you know, will have to wait a little longer!"

Silas was dressed in green and still grumpy, William couldn't find a better comparison! Of course, the MECH leader soon scowled at this remark. Perfect!

“I see you're in a playful mood. Silas hissed.

- Oh yes, but you know, it all depends on the game. I admit that I like fast games, like… hm… Connect 4! Ah, that's a good game! smiled Fowler.

- That's enough!

- …”

The agent pretended to be sulky, and looked away with boredom, then said:

"Something tells me we're going to play something that's too close to the endless Risk..."

Silas frowned, while Fowler continued his speech, not really caring about his current situation:

“Well, I don't say, it's a very good game. But, I'm already behind on my work, so if we could hurry. »

The MECH leader roughly grabbed William's chair, and pulled it towards him, before growling:

“I said, enough is enough! Shut up!"

The agent shrugged, smiling, and said nothing more. Silas sighed, then said:

"I want you to answer my questions!

- Ah well you have to decide! Fowler replied.

- What?

- You tell me to shut up, and now I have to talk! Gosh! How indecisive you are!"

The MECH leader felt the anger welling up inside him, and he pointed his gun at William, before exclaiming:

"I demand that you tell me everything you know about Transformers!

- What is it?

- What?

- Transformers... Hm… Is that a car brand? It sounds like a a car brand. Hm… Actually no, more like a car wash company! Oh! I can already imagine the slogan! "Take your car to Transformers! It will come out… Transformed!"

- This sucks… remarked one of the MECH soldiers, consequently receiving a death glare from Silas.

- Sounded better in my head. Fowler defended himself.

- Stop kidding me! I asked you to tell me about Transformers! You spend so much time with them! You must know things well!"

The agent shrugged, looking incredulous.

“Answer!"

He leaned his gun against William's head, then exclaimed:

"Otherwise I will kill you!"

Silas couldn't hide a surprised look, when Fowler had just said this sentence at the same time as him. The agent smiled defiantly, and the MECH leader scowled, before declaring:

“Erase that smile right now!"

Again, William had said it at the same time, his smile widening every second. The soldiers behind didn't know where to stand, looking around, doing their best not to meet their leader's gaze as he turned towards them.

"Nah, but the problem is that the bad guys these days are too predictable…" Fowler sighed.

Silas looked at William, and exclaimed, in chorus with him:

"Me?! Predictable?!"

This really pissed off the MECH leader, who fired a warning shot next to Fowler! This had its small effect for a moment, then the agent looked at the bullet hole on the ground, before returning to Silas with a sigh.

"Seriously?

- What now?!

- But… Dude! That's a classic shot! We are not in a movie! How do you expect me to take you seriously?!

- You better do it!"

The echo repeated the mixed words of the MECH leader and the agent, who continued to smile triumphantly. Silas brought his face closer to Fowler, and growled. 

“Believe me, I will make you regret it!"

William approached in turn, then asked:

"Are we going to kiss?"

The MECH leader stepped back and pushed the chair where Fowler was! He couldn't suppress a surprised scream, and he crashed to the floor, while Silas stormed out of the room, shouting:

“Throw that out!"

Optimus noticed that Agent Fowler seemed to be having pain in his back, and questioned:

"Everything's good?

- Oh yes, no problem. answered William.

- You seem to have a back injury.

- Oh, I just got pushed away, that's all.

- Pushed away?

- Yes yes. By a person with very little humor.

- I'm sorry for you.

- Oh, don't worry."

Fowler clenched his fists, and whispered:

"One day I will have him!

- What?" Prime asked in confusion, while the agent's gaze shone with determination.

Silas had rested outside to breathe after this more than exhausting encounter, when one of the soldiers originally with him in Fowler's cell came to see him.

"It's okay, we released him. declared the soldier.

- Good!

- But, I have a question.

- What?! the leader of the MECH got angry

- Why release him? Wouldn't it have been better to kill him?

- …

- …”

There was a long silence, until the soldier said:

"You love him, don't you?

- Shut up!"
