On another unrelated note, how would one do that if they can't even form a sentence around the guy they're trying to ask out? -Silver Shepherd

Well...if you're having trouble directly asking them, you can always try a little flair! For example, leaving a juicy yet romantic letter somewhere they'll see~ Make sure that you sign it, though, so they know who it's from!

Or maybe you can try telling them through their interests? If they like music, for example, you could give them a romantic song about wanting to be together or something sappy like that, and offer them flowers at the same time.

I think, all things considered, he could probably figure it out if he wanted to

Depending on the situation and the narrative, I can see Modern Tails working hard on it (either til eventual success or only for someone else to do it first) or just kind of being like "Oh, you guys need to travel through time? I cracked time travel 5 months ago. Would you like to try? Not sure if it's necessarily a great idea, but for science... Just be mindful of things."

In other words, with my own interpretations of modern Tails, I think in reality it's either something he wrote off as impossible until he saw someone like Silver do it (which gave him the spite he needed to work at it again), or something he started working on half for fun and half just in case that he's lowkey waiting for people to prompt him to ask about

If you want to share more about Red's past, when did he fall in love with Blue? or at least started realizing how important she was to him? I saw the post on Blue's side of things and I've lowkey been curious c:

It's a bit hard to pinpoint exactly when he fell in love with Blue to begin with anyway. She'd always been important to him when they were growing up together in Pallet Town, but admittedly he'd been distracted by Green for awhile. Dealing with a crush on him that he knew would never be reciprocated, as Green had a crush on Blue. Red had believed for awhile that the two of them would one day eventually start dating, sometimes watching them talk felt like they existed in a whole different world to him that he didn't feel completely welcome in.

But he figured himself out more, became more confident in himself as the journey went on. His encounters with Blue throughout that time were nice short moments, that he looks back on as an adult and feels it was clear that Blue had feelings towards him back then. He just couldn't fathom it, and so he didn't try to, even though he had his own growing feelings towards her that he didn't even realize. They were even starting to overshadow his feelings towards Green, but he hadn't thought that hard about it.

Silph Co is where that changed, when he was thrown off the top of the building and rescued by his Charizard. When he was safely on the ground he was swarmed by paramedics and officers, even Blue's own parents were there offering him the chance to stay with them to recover. He didn't listen, he ran away from all of them to one of the nearby routes to fully process exactly what had just happened. He'd lost one of his teammates, nearly lost his life, and when he'd last seen Green in Silph Co all he'd cared about was a battle despite what was clearly going on.

Blue found him in the woods in the middle of his panic, and he let her stay with him. He didn't talk verbally for awhile, they stayed camping in the woods for a few days while he tried to get a hold of himself. He would say now that this is likely the moment where he fully realized how he felt towards her. They were out there alone and he didn't want to see anyone else, it felt like they were just camping and the rest of the world didn't exist for a little while. Even while feeling like the worst it was still making his day to see her happy, he was realizing he'd always been aiming to make her happy. When he was talking she was always listening, and when he couldn't she'd tell him about her own journey and he'd listen intently.

He really didn't know what to do about his feelings when they finally clicked during this time, he felt like he had no right to try to tell her how he felt when Green had liked her even at the start of the journey. So he said he'd wait and see what happens, and we sadly know what happens from there.

It was 3:47am, you were away to the States for a business trip and to visit family when you got a call from your boyfriend.

Who might I add, put a special ringtone for him alone;

“Hello.” Trying your hardest to mask the annoyance of sheer shock when your phone screamed in your ear.

“Guess who’s at number 5 on the Hero charts.”

“…Me.” You only said that because you wanted to fuck with him.

“NO, YOU DUMBASS YOU’RE NUMBER 6. It’s ME!”

He laughed the same way he did back in high school with his fake All Might laugh screaming in your ears, as mad as you wanted to be seeing him get all happy after being down at number 15 for almost a whole year, you couldn’t help but be happy for him.

“I’m so proud of you, papa i knew you could. Now you’re a few steps closer to number one like you deserve.” You sat up to praise him some more, seeing his face turn pink as he drove around in his car which looks to be nearly the afternoon made you smile, you knew from when he first seen his place go down how devastated he was even if he masked it with getting mad, and training more.

And Bakugo knew too, you were one of his main supporters and motivators to climb back up on the charts, and he couldn’t appreciate it more.

“Why’d you have to be in stupid ass America while I have one of my best achievements, woman.”

“Well excusseeee me princess-“

“Don’t call me princess…princess.”

“I will be home in 2 days and when I get back we can celebrate. I’ll spoil you just enough.”

He furrowed his brows in confusion, causing him to pick up his phone and prop it on his stand in the car, “The hell you mean just enough?”

“Well…For each rank you go up I wanted to give you a present of your choice. And since you went up 10 spots I guess I’ll have to do 10 things of whatever you want.”

“….Anything?”

“Mmhm.”

Katsuki was a shameless man, but an easily embarrassed one nonetheless, the thoughts were flooding his mind, he looked away to try to focus on the road, that you can clearly see he was driving over the speed limit to then clear his throat, “Okay start now; say ‘My boyfriend Katsuki Bakugo is the greatest hero of all time.’”

“My boyfriend Katsuki Alexander Bakugo—-“

“Oh my fucking gosh I didn’t say say my middle name—“

“Is the greatest hero of all time….and I’m extremely proud and blessed to have a strong, intelligent, amazing man all to myself.”

You sure knew how to make a man blush because each time you praised him he got redder by the ears, “Alright I didn’t say say all that….dumbass.”

“Mmhm…”

It was a comfortable silence, still drowsy you let out a small yawn and as Bakugo parks his car he looks at you, “Oh yeah it’s late there….you should be sleep.”

“Yeah but this was more important.”

“Mm..” You wipe your eyes a little, not knowing your breast were spilling out of your bra after shifting so much in your sleep he notices, “I have another favor. Pop a tit or two out for the number 5 hero before I head to this interview.”

Pausing what you were doing you scoff rolling your eyes and quickly pull down your bra, your breast bounce around, showing the pretty silver piercing in your nipple making him fight the urge to burst out into a smile.

“Now you have 8 favors left.”

“Like 8 and a half … you only showed one tit.”

A beautiful bouquet of flowers, a lovely note attached to them, and a romantic setting usually does the trick! Perhaps a sweet treat as well, if your potential date likes them.
