Simblr resolutions thingy

I've been tagged by @nekrophoria and @simcatcher. Thank you both! 💕

It's hard to make good resolutions, isn't it? Most of the time, we don't stick to them and then we feel guilty. I didn't make any for 2024, but I found a post saying there would be at least 12 updates per year as usual. I could only do half of that this year. :/ My updates are longer than they used to be, but not by much, so I can only assume this is due to my lack of motivation for various reasons.

I don't like setting goals, I tend to think of them as constraints, so let's use a different term: I wish that in 2025, I can finally wrap up the current arc (with Jie and all that) and start on I've planned next for Laurie & co. This should be feasible, and I really want to get there.

I didn't know if you were more curious about seeing the original childhood Kirsten or YA Kirs in her "Sunflower" era, so... I included both 🥰

5. Are there any scenes in your story that you enjoy re-reading?  

Honestly I don’t really like to re-read my earlier stuff. This is because I never really wrote anything until I started writing for Dynastia and the early stuff is pretty bad. 😅 I feel kinda the same about early Winter Echo. I’m much more likely to re-watch my machinima than re-read my story, but I’ve been re-reading WE from the beginning recently as I try to connect all my loose threads :P

6. Are there any scenes you wish you could go back and re-write?

Not so much re-write, but I kinda wish I hadn’t started Sasha & Alice’s story thread in Dynastia. By the time I realised readers weren’t reacting to Sasha the way I thought they would and that I wasn’t actually enjoying writing the arc at all, I’d already written myself into the middle of it. I’ve had Dynastia on hiatus since then and I’m still working out ways to get around it and get back to it (which I plan to do after Winter Echo) because I have a lot more story to tell! 😊

Okay. Wow. I just finished Rebirth and it is beautiful. Really, moving... Felix' been through alot really. I just loved the authenticity of the dialogues. The deep and complex character everyone have to them... The funny lines had me cracking up, the sad moments teared me up, thank you for them! It was light and bubbly, and bc of that, when it wasn't, the deep moments were even deeper. Definitely bookmarked as one of my favourite sim series ;-; ♥

14. Is there any special relationship you like in particular? Which one if yes?

There are two that I find particularly special and it’s funny because both relationships are much quieter than my others. 

Adam and Helmi: Two hurt souls who are kind of lost in this limbo state and they are both trying to figure out how they fit in each other’s lives. While they both deal with different types of grief and loss. 

Olin and Sancha: Two potentially really great friends, maybe even more? They have this comfortable silence between them that is hard to find, but they are so painfully unsure of themselves and feel obligated to meet other people’s expectations instead of listening to themselves.

17. What is scaring you the most about this story ?

The endings, I mean everyone will find their someone but it makes me a little sad to think about letting them ride off into the sunset...I mean they totally earned it after the hell I’ve put them through. But, it’s like okay, once that happens, I’m going to have make and meet new sims and what are they going to be like, am I going to love them as much as my OG’s? ACK, my heart hurts thinking about it!

Devin: Everything’s going to be fine. How’s things so far? 

Victor: Fine. I let the kids to themselves and indulged myself in one last peaceful moment in precious Bridgeport.

Could it be a RAM issue? Ours had a broken RAM stick and it really messed with everything.

Doubt it's the cause of this, but for the sake of your pcs health it might be worth checking if your hard drives needs defragging

As you know, I love to play with different time periods. Wild West was something I always forgot before. but @simcatcher woke my interest! Ioved it and I tag @danjaley and @andantezen.
