The weather is slowly turning chill as I finish up reading Jane Eyre for my literature class.

23 April 2019 | The past couple of days have been some of the most remarkably enjoyable semi-frantic days of busyness I’ve ever experienced. Yesterday I wrote 10 pages of a research paper draft sitting on my balcony while drinking a steady-stream of homemade smoothies and then read 200 pgs of Kuyper for my seminar today. Now I’m starting my church history readings for tomorrow and plan to watch my lectures for that tonight as well. Here’s the thing y’all—I’m hardly ever this productive and even when I come moderately close it’s usually out of sheer stress motivation. 

Suffice it to say that taking time off to focus on Holy Week was the breath of fresh air I needed to be reminded just how easy my life truly is and to be grateful that I get to live it in the presence of the risen Christ!

Day 8/30 days of productivity

Here’s a much awaited sneak peek of my study desk!! My softboard is festooned with BTS posters and my planner and positivity quotes ft. my cute little “S” monogram pen-stand.

I’ve been solving chemistry numericals for Bohr’s atomic model and I solved a whole 80 page practice module whoohoo

So far in 2020 I’ve read 4 books for my various classes, including Beowulf, Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors and Henry IV, and John Gardner’s Grendel. Math is going surprisingly well, and I’ve had two papers accepted for a local undergraduate conference later this month!

The His Dark Materials series is definitely still a favorite from my childhood, been rereading it while revising an essay.
