VDL Gang Beach Episode

Dutch- Flirting with some of the younger women, definitely has a famers tan

Arthur- Digging the biggest hole he possibly can in the sand, no shovel, hands and knees, scooping sand by the arm full

Hosea- in the shade, lathered head to toe in sunscreen, sun glasses on, asleep

John- he’s really scared of the big water and won’t go near it, he’s also extremely sun burnt but won’t put sun screen on

Javier- Brought his guitar to play music, but now has a weird tan line on his abdomen and legs

Abigail- helping Jack find sea shells on the beach

Jack - making small sand castles and trying to decorate them with the shells his mom found

Uncle- asleep on a raft, drifting off into the horizon

Micah- pretending to be a shark in the water, fake fin and everything

Josiah- had someone roll out a red carpet for wherever he stood so he didn’t get sand on him (he’s still in a suit)

Swanson- drinking a cute summer cocktail with a little umbrella in the glass

Pearson- cutting up Watermelon and made the gang a big fruit salad and sandwiches

Sadie- Spear Fishing, hunting a shark she thinks she sees off in the distance

Grimshaw- Yelling at anyone who has sand on them to clean off

Molly- under a fancy umbrella, fanning herself, plotting of ways to drown Dutch without getting herself wet

Tilly, Kieran, Mary Beth, Karen- The girls forced Kieran to play Mermaids with them because they needed a king mermaid, Kieran was just happy to be involved

Charles- Helping Arthur dig the hole, he has the shovel since Arthur is too stubborn to accept it

Bill- Running along the beach with Cain

Sean- buried up to his neck in the sand, slowly eating it

Lenny- laying in the sun next to Sean, smacking him every time he takes another bite of sand

Bill and Javier small comic part 1 (hopefully) This is very random but I wanted to draw a short comic about these two. It's meant to be a brotherly relationship but a stupid one where they find it difficult to get along. It was inspired by a few things but the there's a pose reference here that was taken from Everybody Loves Raymond of Ray and Robert fighting over a cereal toy. I wanted there to be like 3 more pages but that was weeks ago and sadly I seem to have art block again so I thought I'd just upload this as it is or else it might never get uploaded. My first proper attempt at a comic, it's messy but I worked hard on it. Hope you get a smile out of it lol

What do you want to see in a RDR history reading list?

Hey Y'all. I'm a historian, and I've been writing a series of Marvel history posts, and I thought, why not hit up my roots? Btw, I do NOT recommend the history of rdr book that came out. My colleagues and I find the author to be insufferable, and he's not always the most respectful in his writing. ANYWAY. This book list is going to be about 10-15 books divided by subject. I have already curated a list of sex worker history books as it's one of my historical specialities. (History of Medicine is my other! I wrote over 250 pages about tuberculosis while obtaining my Master's.)

I plan to have a section on * Native Americans * Mexican Cowboys * African American Cowboys * Women Outlaws or historical women of this time period * Tuberculosis reading * General Outlaw history * LGBT+ history of this time period

I'm potentially thinking of adding a section on Chinese miners as they played a huge role in "Old West history", but they're not very prevalent in the RDR series. What else would you like to see? I can take maybe 2-3 more suggestions, but be aware that this will make the post longer.
