Oh... hello! well, no sunday snippet from me today, also because it's not Sunday anymore, but I do have something else to offer?

Inspired by a prompt by the amazing @dreamyelectronicmusic and after a month of teasing it (sorry about that) I give you: Chapter 1 of the editorial assistant AU (WIP, part 1/3, rated M)

When Simon, an editorial assistant at one of Sweden’s most prominent commercial publishing houses, stumbles upon a manuscript sent in by a mysterious W. Viklund, he doesn’t expect it to be any good. He certainly doesn’t expect to fall in love with it, or that the author is kind, and funny, and witty and keeps distracting him from his work.

Nash Woods "Roulette"

We got the 4th boy for my payday oc crew.

Nash "Roulette" Woods. He is a hacker and a sniper. He can best be describe as a dorito eating, memester gamer, and a sniper. He works best at long range but he can also operate in close quarters and quick scoping. He also will use his sniper as a bat if the chance presents it self.

When Nash was 18 when he enlisted to the military [army specifically]. He was in for almost 4 years and became the rank of sergeant. He was in charge of a crew of snipers and had seen his fair share of combat. When he was nearing the end of his 4 year enlistment, he had hacked into everything on the base anf he wanted a bigger target. Now the thing about Nash is he does things to see if he can. So he sets his sights on the pentagon. It takes some doing but he manages to break in. However he is quickly found out and they attempted to court marshal him. Instead however he put the whole compound in a black out/lock down. Given he wasn't about to get arrested, he moved on to doing other criminal acts to make money. He mainly worked alone, hitting banks and the like.

His first encounter with the payday gang was when they had stepped into a bank, unmasked, to rob the place. However, he already cleaned the place out and was working on his get away. He had been spotted and was in the process of running from the back to the front. He triggered the banks lock down from his phone, causing alarms to blare. When he got to the lobby is was shoot the guards central, as one does. At one point he took cover behind the desk where the gang was to reload, said "hows your day going? Mine great!" before standing up and smacking a guard across the face. When police started to file in, he went under the sky light where he had broken one of the corners of the window earlier and laid a rope. He shot an opposing corner and moved out of the way as the glass pane and rope fell 4 stories down. He grabbed out a zipline pull and escaped out the roof. The gang told Bain about him, and they attempted to track him down with little success.

Fast forward a bit and 4 payday members [Not Rob, Lud or Harvey] are caught when they are investigating the people who were torturing Robert [Note Harvey's backstory]. While they were about to get firing squaded in a shipping container yard, Nash shows up and guns them down, wearing his own clown mask. He lets them know Bain got in contact with them and sent a rescue squad of him and some friends. Queue Ludwig drifting a pickup towards them with Robert and Harvey in the back. Everyone loads up in the back of the truck, Nash standing and shooting people in front of them while everyone else guns the back and sides, Lud trying to run people over when given the chance and not making aiming easy. After that Nash joins the crew, specifically Rob, Lud, and Harvey's.

Other notes on Nash: Of the group, he is the most versed with pop culture and memes. While he is a sniper, he is also the group's tech and hacker guy, often hacking cameras, security, computers, lights, ect. He also made a handy tech for when they are going loud of ear pieces that filter out loud music currently playing, and then plays said music over speakers to help deafen his enemies. He is a bit of a gamer and would also say "pog" to people unironically [half the time just to piss them off]. He is more laid back than the others on the team. Of the 4 he is the second youngest at 25.
