FELLOW SIMMERS!!

i’m thinking of 🏴‍☠️ing the rest of the sims DLC that i don’t own… are there any downsides to doing so? i know that if you didn’t own the base game you couldn’t access the gallery, but that’s not a problem for me obviously. are there any drawbacks?? lmk!

it’s so hilarious to me that ea creators want to make their cc a business but are so bad at it. you treat your “customers” like shit (have them PAY for free BG meshes, complain on twitter, etc). you can’t even be bothered to not regurgitate the same ideas that have been so stretched out, not to mention most of the meshes are broken, hardly work on a sim with curvier bodies. like idfk man, if you’re gonna monetize… sorry, if you’re gonna take advantage of people’s money, then people absolutely have the right to criticize.

well damn they really did rerelease sims 1 & 2 :o ngl i had 0 hope that was actually gonna happen and instead ea would just give us some nostalgia stuff pack for sims 4…

rumor has it that ea is going to rerelease s1 and s2 because of leaks so I would recommend 🏴‍☠️ at least for s2. (go to Reddit get the easy installer etc) I've heard s1 is way harder to run on modern systems.

I've been playing s2 with that method though for the past couple months and it's worked fine, no pink soup. (Though I don't really do CC just game mods).

unless it's some big overhaul i just wouldn't rec it unless you want s1. The irony is that s3 is the one that probably needs help running on like,,,,any system due to some core problems. Like that's not really fixable with mods but whatever.
