Some headcanons featuring screenshots from my Sims 3 Strangetown game.

PT9 and Jenny met in 1985. Based on the Sims 2 memories, she found him drowning in the pool since he dived head-first into the shallow end. While everyone was running away in fear - she rescued him and fell in love at first sight. PT9 vowed loyalty to his savior and gifted her with knowledge about Sixam.

Jenny and Lyla were roommates until she married Buzz Grunt. She doesn't get Jenny's attraction to PT9 but she was supportive. Meanwhile, Jenny tried her hardest to break up Lyla and Buzz because she deserved so much better!

The Curious Brothers were forced to cut contact with Jenny since she 'betrayed' their father by marrying PT9 ( valid honestly - thinking about it makes my head hurt )

5. Glarn was an emotionally absent father who paid no attention to his kids. Pascal was Glarn's favorite which was why he went to private school. He was also responsible for looking after his younger brothers when they moved out.

6. Pascal is " Well achually" incarnate. He loves to talk about theories and science. Aliens and Astro physics are his hyper fixation

7. Vidcund and Lazlo spend their time joking about how Pascal takes himself way too seriously. They were best friends throughout school and Vidcund was the one who helped Lazlo get his degree.

8. Lazlo is a genius, he passed school with no effort because he was just that smart. Glarn didn't see his genius because he was too busy scolding him for being messy.

9. Lazlo takes Vidcund out to hang out with his friends and works overtime trying to set him up on dates so he can get over Circe.

10. The Curious Brothers weren't that close - and often butted heads but since Tycho was born they are closer than ever. ( UNTIL VIDUND SOLD TYCHO)

11. I know Vidcund was mind-controlled, but imagine if he wasn't. He's in serious debt and these blue aliens offered him like a billion dollars if he sold his nephew. The Dudes in Black wanted to run experiments on him idk.

12. Pascal never really recovered after his kid was stolen and was overly protective of Tycho. Tycho grew up anxious because of the overarching threat of being kidnapped again.

13. Olive Specter is not a serial killer (allegedly) - she just has really bad luck, but she kept up the bit so people would leave her alone! She is really superstitious because she's connected to the supernatural. She makes good luck charms and ensures that Ophelia is really cautious and wears all her charms.

14. Ophelia has a serious anxiety disorder - partially because Olive raised her to be scared of everything for her own safety. She makes sure Johnny and Ripp don't go under ladders, cross poles, or step on cracks. She gets really stressed out when Ripp makes dark jokes.

15. Olive was a good mom until she was wrongly accused of being unstable which led to her baby being taken away. She tried to get him back but there were too many roadblocks and Nervous was already given away.

16. She loves the Grim Reaper and longs for the day she can see him again. Her partygoer job entails her going to funeral memorials.

17. Nervous met Annie Howell in foster care and they are really good friends to this day. He missed her because she was adopted by her older brother and left alone in the orphanage. 18. Nervous was a constant runaway and ended up in the Beaker's house as a teenager with the promise that he wouldn't have to go back to a group home. Unfortunate :(

19. I like how most people agree on how rude and not nice Nervous actually is. He's standoffish for good reason and gives Vidcund a lot of snark for being into Circe. He's chill with Lazlo though.

20. Nervous is the fun dad, and lets Tycho do whatever they want. Meanwhile, Pascal is pretty strict about his schooling ( which doesn't matter because Tycho has alien intelligence) and being safe. 21. Tycho grows up to follow in Pascal's astrophysics footsteps, mostly to build a ship and hunt down his Pollinator dad.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 25 (Unexpected Death Cull but then a Baby, Finally!)

The town of Henford was rocked by a seniors’ river cruise disaster which killed Spencer’s grandparents Dennis and Vivian Lewis-Kim, as well as Ian and Derek Moody-McMillan, who were old friends of the Nesbitts and grandfathers to Nicola, Hazel’s bestie-turned-girlfriend.

The disaster brought Everett and Spencer home to visit her family. The Nesbitts sent condolences, grateful to have been spared greater grief as the town’s fledgling riverboat tourism industry took a nosedive. Spencer met her new niece and infant Greyson got to know his aunts on the Pancakes and Kim-Lewis sides of his family.

The visit made them miss home, and they began to talk about coming home to Henford for good. For now, however, life called them back to Oasis Springs after the funerals.

Daisy was still a PlantSim, which was concerning as the effects of the forbidden fruit had worn off much slower than she expected, and River’s wedding was just around the corner. Despite this, Daisy stayed close to Heather until delivery.

One evening, Heather tried to show her mother how to use accounting software for her floral business, but it wasn't going well and Heather was starting to get bored. She nonchalantly checked her phone. "You wrote a whole cookbook, Mom. You taught me how to do online research, but you can't figure out a few numbers?"

Daisy frowned. "I always let the telescope do my number-crunching for me. I really just loved gardening." She clicked something, and the program disappeared. "Oh, what now?"

"Let me." Heather leaned over her mother's shoulder. "You deleted it? How did you do that?"

Daisy shrugged in frustration. "I really don't know."

Heather opened her Recycle Bin to retrieve the deleted file when she noticed a strange folder. "VetConnect? Is this a clone? What?"

"What does that mean?"

"I...I think someone might have cloned my app files and given them to Petcare Inc."

"Who would do such a thing?"

"Other than you, no one's used my computer since...since Malcolm! I used to let him log in to send work emails. Oh my god! I could kill him!"

Daisy frowned. "Don't say that. Can you sue?"

"Against the Landgraabs? I don't even know if I could prove it was him," she said. "But I think I can fight fire with fire. My vet tech had the idea, and it took years to make the first one, but I'm going to have to work on a new app."

After a family dinner in Henford, Heather finally went into labour. Daisy went with her to the hospital, where her doctor was the on-call intern, Jamar Scott, her childhood neighbour.

(And the eldest son of Henford townies Simon and Sara Scott.)

"How's life in Brindleton Bay?"

"It's really great! I love being by the sea and I really feel like the clinic was my calling."

"I know what you mean. What you do for animals is what I love to do for sims."

"And how's Malia's freelance career?"

"She loves the flexibility, and I can't say I blame her. We're talking about starting a family of our own once my residency's done and I can work better hours."

Just before four in the morning, an exhausted Heather gave birth to a healthy baby boy she named Ash Neal Nesbitt. She debated the last name for months, but Malcolm hadn’t checked on her except when he needed a paternity test. And he stole her mobile app's code!

Since then he’d been no better than a ghost. If he wanted to miss out on his son's life, Heather was fine with it. ->

NOTE: To prevent them from randomly marrying other sims I made Dennis Kim and Vivian Lewis fall in love and marry years after their kids, Eric and Alice, married and started a family (they had three girls - Olivia, Spencer, and Lydia Kim-Lewis).

NOTE 2: I made OG grocer Kim Goldbloom the adopted daughter of Ian Moody and Derek McMillan because I wanted to make all the Henford NPCs playable at the start of the game. (I also paired up Michael Bell and Cecilia Kang despite their canon bad first date, married off Agnes and Agatha and moved them in with the Pancakes after making Agatha the mother of Bob, and put Lavina and Rahul in a home in the Bramblewood. She married Paolo Rocca and had two more kids, Rahul married Rashidah Watson after graduation and they moved to Brindleton Bay to start a family.

Hey, do you have any rpg maker horror/rpg maker game recommendations?

RPG MAKER GAME RECOMMENDATIONS,,, Oh boy,,!

I have some that I do like a lot, however, there is a chance some people may not be TOO crazy about it since I am someone who likes it a lot when a game has lots of lore & story that I can bite into and think about more when I’m done!!

I think, right now, what I like as of right now ( these are not ranked in any particular order ):

1. Fausts Alptraum - Free to Download, Artbook You Have to Pay For: A game about a girl named Elisabeth who visits her family’s old home after a funeral, being trapped inside and having to get out.

A BIIIGGG favorite of mine, due to having a nice balance of awe and admiration of its art direction, while balancing tension and unease as you explore

2. Angels of Death - Pay to Play: A game about a girl named Rachel who wakes up in a building and is forced to progress through its floor levels to get out, each floor having a leader who seek to hunt her down.

Another favorite of mine, because I love the story and characters! The symbolism and juxtaposition of Rachel and Zac is so fun, along with plot that had me hooked into it! ( I will say, I am not the best at playing high stress games so I had to watch play-throughs to see the endings LMAO )

3. Mad Father - Pay to Play: About a young girl named Aya who lives alone with her mad doctor of a father, and his assistant. Aya is forced to confront the horrors of her father’s crimes to try and save him when she hears his screams on this particular night.

This was a game I had gotten into when I was WAYY younger! It definitely left a lasting impact on me since I am a big fan of medical & body horror now. I don’t know how to say it, but trust me!! It’s a lot of fun!

4. Fear and Hunger - Pay to Play: Between a cast of 4 playable characters, you are tempted by a personal quest that leads to the Dungeons of Fear & Hunger, unaware of the horrors and depravity that lies inside.

This is a big time favorite of mine, HOWEVER - I do not recommend this to everyone, as the triggers and violence in this game can be extreme for some others to go through. I highly recommend reading any available list of triggers for this game before trying it out, because the content is pretty dark. However, I do like it for its art direction, the lore and its characters, that the creator has made for it’s story and sequel!

5. Flesh, Blood & Concrete - Free to Play: Focused on the protagonist, Lera, who’s car breaks down on a snowy and is invited into the apartment building nearby by a young girl named Nika. Exploring the strange building, Lera encounters unsettling visuals and strange feelings of deja vu.

I recently just played this, and I adore it a lot for the story that has been crafted by the creator, with its message - as well as the welcoming, yet unsettling art direction it has, with the various home-y apartments and depictions of meat & flesh.

Now, these aren’t RPG Maker games themselves, but I will recommend them because I think they are fun to play on free time:

Soul Void - Free to Play: Gameboy pixel style, regarding the protagonist who explores a strange world, looking for a way out. Very beautiful art, and beautiful message!

Saint Spell’s Love Guide to the Magical Student’s Spellbook - Free to Play: Pixel Visual Dating Sim, very pretty, very fun routes to play, my friends and I loved playing it during our lunch breaks in uni!!

Lore:

There are 5 sections of the world: The Seven Families, Supernatural Happenings, Out on the Town, Uni Side, & The Residentials.

The Seven Families: Where the seven richest, most prominent families live. For their ancestors' deeds in the past, each family is cursed with one of the seven deadly sins. Every generation cannot escape their most vile traits. Because of their low profile, the townies do not know of their curse. And they like to keep it that way.

Supernatural Happenings: The old monsters that cursed the seven families still watch over their suffering from nearby. No one knows who they are. Unusual events often happen here. Yet, many townies are content to stick their heads in the sand no matter what.

Out on the Town: One side of town has all the hangouts, restaurants, clubs and bars.

Uni Side: This where you'll find more traditional lots. This family friendly area has a technical college, fraternity, and sorority.

The Residentials: The largest are on the map. Includes an Off-campus housing community, apartment buildings, and a nursing home.

Note: "Daiku Life" in the Out on the Town area is the criminal warehouse. Unfortunately, EA combines the movie theatre I used with that career. Just ignore the prebuilt one and use Daiku Life instead. There are two fire stations. Feel free to delete the one farthest from you…or if you're feeling chaotic, the closest.

Known Issues: -There are lines around the ocean of the world (This is possibly due to an improper terrain import and can be ignored, as it doesn't affect gameplay. It also shows up for other custom worlds, so it could just be my pc, or something else. Just keep it in mind.

-Some lots went through several versions of the map and therefore the terrain is not completely even. Most lots do not have this issue. However, if you choose to build, make sure the lot is leveled first.

-Sometimes the house icons won't show when you move in households. It does not mean they aren't available. Most of the available households are apartments & trailers. Hovering the mouse under the house will highlight the ones available.

First, I want to apologize for the amount of custom content I used. I use limited amounts of cc, plus my own. I never thought the list would get this long. I just built as I wanted and thought my ity-bity cc wouldn't amount to much. This is why I recommend users that have most/all EA premium content. I used Blam, which playtests well in game for me. I did include some of my unreleased cc in this world. This my first world, and I feel kind of proud that I managed to finish. While I enjoyed making this world the first few months, three restarts, one total loss, lots vanishing, CAW crashing, and countless other issues later, I am so glad to be done with it. This is technically still beta, but for now, consider it finished. I will never make another large world again. If you encounter odd glitches, shoot me a message in my inbox. Otherwise....

EASTON, Windenburg (SNN) -- The Queen arrives at Edward I Airport in Easton from Brindleton Bay, one day after the death of her father King George I and her accession to her throne.

She heard the news of being proclaimed Sovereign of the Commonwealth Realm while staying at the Brindleton Bay family vacation home of her longtime best friend, Carissa Kennedy-Lee. Kennedy-Lee is the daughter of former Americreek President, Clinton F. Kennedy.

As a sign of respect for the new orders of precedence, Prince Rainier, the Duke of Brindleton Bay, now walks two paces behind the Queen. Because she’s now at the top of the royal family’s hierarchy, Queen Katherine I walks at the front (particularly for formal occasions and state dinners).

The Orders of Precedence states that when the royal family is part of a procession, they enter and are seated in the order of precedence. That’s essentially the same order as the line of succession to the throne.

The Queen was greeted by Prime Minister Keller, Foreign Secretary Budrow and Private Secretary to the sovereign, Mr Lavelle. The Prime Minister will address the nation at 2:30 PM.

As she deplaned, the large crowd fell silent with only the noise of camera flashes being heard.

For the first time as sovereign, The Queen rode in the royal Rolls-Royce, over which the Royal standard was Hoisted.

The Queen drove directly to Buckingsim Palace from the airfield. King George’s body will depart Henford tomorrow at 2:00 PM WST and arrive at the Easton Train Station at 5:54 PM WST. The Queen will be joined by the entire royal family to receive his body. Crowds are expected the line The Mall as his body returns to the palace.

Messages of condolence continue to pour into Buckingsim palace from all over the sims world as funeral arrangements are expected to be released tomorrow.

What lot type would you add to the sim if you could?

I love this question! There are so many I’d love but if I had to pick my top five are:

1. Hotels/resorts - owning a hotel/resort, checking into a room, being able to have cafe/restaurant without changing lot types.

2. Casino - this could be merged with hotels/resorts but I’d love a casino themed game pack

3. Graveyard - this would add so much game play for story telling purposes. I want the ability to have funerals.

4. Daycare - pretty self explanatory!

5. Retirement home - it be so cute to send older to live together and visit them.

Part 2 of my fnaf au timeline

1992 - 1993 -

Henry reopens Freddy’s. New animatronics arrive, but the spirits of the dead children live within them because they still haven’t been set free yet.

A young woman named Imogen Florence Cromwell moves from California to Hurricane Utah. After hearing about wanting a new Engineer/Technician, Imogen applies for the job. After going through a bit of training, Imogen finally gets the job. She then makes a new friend named Akira.

Mike Schmidt moves back into his old home and gets the job as a night guard at Freddy’s. Mike would one day visit the pizzeria during daytime and would befriend Imogen & Akira. After getting the job and his paycheck, Mike, Imogen, & Akira would slowly become close. Akira however sees that Imogen would start being the closest to Mike & would tease her about it & that she may have feelings for Mike.

Meanwhile, William had been being questioned by the police. He then got an idea of how he could erased all of his crimes. One night when Mike was too sick to go to work, William broke inside of the pizzeria, and destroyed all of the animatronics. However, he ends up getting confronted by the spirits of the dead children he killed. In order to protect himself, he wore his old spring lock Bonnie suit and laughed like a maniac. However, due to the moisture of the room he was in, William was crushed to death in the suit and was left there to die.

When Henry finds out about this, he shuts down the pizzeria. He hopes that hopefully this will be the last time anything bad has ever happened and that there can finally be peace.

2000s - 2010s -

Henry retires early and goes on holiday outside of Utah to take a nice long break from his own company for a while.

Mike ends up not having enough money for rent, and ends up living with Imogen. He then hears that his mother had passed away, so he & Imogen go to her funeral. After the funeral, Mike tells Imogen about his true identity & his past. Imogen didn’t cared about what he had done, because what was in the past was just in the past. The two eventually got closer.

James comes to Utah and visits Mike & Imogen. He befriended Imogen and her friend Akira.

A few more years later, Mike & Imogen are now married, and Mike gets a new job at Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. This was where the events of Sister Location would begin, and would end with Ennard tricking Mike and getting him scooped so that They could take his body. However, his body rejects them and pukes them out down the sewers, and Mike gets his consciousness & body back.

However, after becoming basically immortal, Mike leaves to go find his father, who he believes is still alive somewhere. Imogen was pregnant around the time, so eventually she ends up raising their children on her own.

2022 - 2023 -

Fazbear Entertainment Inc. was then bought by a surfer dude from Malibu, California named, Marino Harvard, and he builds a fun little attraction based on the events of the pizzeria over the decades called Fazbear’s Fright. A week before the attraction opened, Marino hires a night guard named, Fritz Smith, so that he could make sure nothing bad will happen. And so begins Fnaf 3, where Fritz would have to witness the horrors within 5 nights. Especially with William’s soul, who now possesses his spring lock prison, Springtrap.

One night, Fritz was fed up with it all, so on the night before Fazbear’s Fright opened, he lit the whole attraction on fire with Springtrap & the phantoms trapped inside. This goes on the news, which catches the attention of Mike & Henry. Henry then came up with a whole new idea, and so, he returned to Fazbear Entertainment Inc. and slowly starts putting his plans into motion.

The events of Fnaf Pizza Sim then begin. Mike now works as the franchiser of his own restaurant with the help of Henry himself, and we all know how this ends. Fire. And lots of fire too. Mike, Henry, Scrap Baby, Molten Freddy, Lefty, and Afton all burn together inside the building.

2050s - 2090s -

Many years later, a man named, Zach Sanderson, after his brother bought the Fazbear company and created the help wanted cr experience, built a giant 80s themed pizzeria mall known as Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. This is where the events of Security Breach begins. The rest is history.

Sims Scrapbook Specter

Specter house, Aunt Olive Specter, orphaned ward/niece Ophelia

Bio: After the untimely drowning of her parents, Ophelia came to live with her aunt Olive Specter in the funeral home she runs in Willow Creek. Will death always be a part of this young teen’s life? Who knows, they say the family might be cursed. Olive certainly seems familiar with death herself, losing not only family and friends, but an odd number of deliverymen. But she seems to have a different view on such matters, seeming almost welcoming of Death’s embrace. Very welcoming.

Olive Specter had a keen interest in learning to make pufferfish herself, and so tried some out at one of the fanciest sushi restaurants in Del Sol Vally, The Red Snapper. She now knows how to make it, and surely will do great things with this knowledge.

Olive met a cute waiter there, Tai Lum. She invited him over for drinks after his shift… drinks and pufferfish. He ate two servings, but was fine. Olive was so angry she cussed him out and insulted him until she could declare him an enemy, something else she’s apparently always wanted according to her wants. So she at least has that in her life now.

*I want her to try to meet death at least four times in her old age before she croaks.

Olive has managed her first kill! She ordered some take out, and managed to trap the delivery sim in the bathroom with some pufferfish nigiri. He died from the poor quality, and when Grim appeared Olive did her best to flirt with him. She wants high romance by the time he comes for her. Colt Raymond’s grave now sits in Olive’s private cemetery – all while Ophelia slept!

Soooooo while Olive was figuring out her next victim, Ophelia woke to start making herself breakfast… bacon and eggs. She caught on fire, did nothing to save herself. Olive ran outside. The fire department was called. They showed up just in time to freak out over Ophelia’s death! Not planned but… that’s gonna count as #2. She’s going in the private graveyard. That does, however, mean the only heir apparent is Olive’s mystery child that she gave up long ago. She did also get an adoring sentiment towards Grim.

This twist was so unexpected… Lol, maybe I should change the manor to a haunted house if she makes her goal of two more deaths before the end of her life.

Score #3 body, Jay Matson the random delivery man #2, also died of pufferfish poisoning following a zoomies delivery. He gained a sentiment about her too, finding himself “Epically inspired” by her and her life story.

She’ll have about a week left to live give or take, so I’ll circle back around later to try to get that last death and finish her days.

Your sim, however, is a confident, cunning young woman. She knows she is beautiful... and she knows how to steal a man's heart. As long as she can get rich, she doesn't care what she has to do.

⋆˙⟡♡ DIFFICULTY

Upon reaching your chosen goal, you win the challenge. Keep track of how much money is yours after a spouse's death (home value and bank).

easy - your sim wants to make at least 500,000 simoleons through inheritance.

medium - your sim wants to make at least 1,000,000 simoleons through inheritance.

hard - your sim wants to make at least 5,000,000 simoleons through inheritance.

extreme - your sim wants to make at least 10,000,000 simoleons through inheritance.

note: you are free to add more wealthy sims/families as you run out.

⋆˙⟡♡ RULES

rule 1. must play on the normal lifespan with aging on.

rule 2. no money cheats. your sim must earn money by marrying and killing her husbands.

rule 3. your sim must be a young adult upon starting.

rule 4. your sim should only have one romantic interest at a time. no new relationships until you've killed your spouse. should you ever find yourself with a "naughty" or worse reputation, see the quirks section of this challenge for added difficulty.

rule 5. your golden widow retires her ways upon reaching elderhood. you may pass the challenge on to an heir (must be a young adult) if you can't reach your goal in time.

rule 6. your golden widow must reach level 10 in cooking and charisma.

⋆˙⟡♡ INHERITANCE

Getting married isn't easy, and neither is stealing away a rich old man's legacy. The following rules apply to each individual marriage.

rule 1. upon seducing a wealthy sim, your sim must have gone on at least three dates after starting a relationship before you can propose. however, if you have mods that allow sims to autonomously propose and the wealthy sim proposes first, you can say yes whenever.

rule 2. your sims may move in together after proposal.

rule 3. once you are engaged, you must host a dinner party where you invite the fiancé's family and your own friends. you must prove that you will be a good wife by throwing a good party.

rule 4. your sims must plan a wedding. use your own discretion for its magnitude (how wealthy is he? how social is he?).

rule 5. the money isn't all yours yet. your sim must have at least one child with her husband before killing him to ensure she inherits the money.

rule 6. if your husband dies before you have a child, you do not gain any money. you must move out and leave it all behind, starting fresh.

rule 7. after your husband dies, you must hold a funeral to not raise suspicion.

Everything in this section is completely optional and only serves as a way to add difficulty. You may pick and choose what you'd like to do.

shopping addict: is that a new purse? oh, look at that dress! your sim can't help not being financially responsible.

every week, your sim must have spent at least §3000 on anything you choose.

delicate: ugh! work? why the hell would I work if I'm not poor?! your sim absolutely hates hard labor. or working at all, for that matter.

never get any kind of job.

never do a single house chore, save for cooking for your husband.

high maintenance: maintaining my beauty is just so important...you'll help me, won't you? your sim absolutely lives for the spa.

every other day, your sim must visit the spa and purchase any one of their services.

reputation in ruins: your sim must protect her reputation. after all, if she doesn't, how will she continue marrying?

if your sim ever gains the "naughty" or worse reputation, she must move to a completely new world and forget all of her relationships (save for children). after doing so, she must also change her name and lose any celebrity star levels she might have.

Waistcoat

It is becoming apparent that 1. our wonderful @coffeedrgn87 can find a prompt in every situation and 2. When a dragon says “please write” a hedgehog scuttles to their write nest as fast as their tiny legs will carry them.

So I present to you “waistcoat” inspired by my sims toddler, my favourite dragon and loosely the @drarrymicrofic prompt “seven”. Teddy centric with background drarry, featuring a genderfluid Teddy.

Seven

Standing in the mirror, Teddy ran through look after look, unable to settle on one for the first time in decades. They were always so sure of themself, always knew what they wanted to look like on any given day. Whether it was short hair or long, masculine features or feminine, dresses or suits, they always knew what they needed.

Except for today

What were you supposed to wear, supposed to look like, for the double funeral of the only parents you had ever known.

They could hear them both in their head, whispering their advice.

“Comfortable and casual,” Harry would say. “No use looking good if you don’t feel it.”

“Suave and sophisticated,” was Draco’s motto. Teddy didn’t think they had ever seen Draco in a pair of jeans, let alone trainers.

Suddenly, as if their fathers had placed the idea into their head, Teddy knew what to wear. Turning to his closet he pulled out a freshly pressed shirt and his favourite waistcoat, along with his comfiest jeans and the trainers Harry had bought him only last month.

Let people say what they liked, Teddy knew that it was what their fathers would have wanted, and that was more than enough for them.

Six

Teddy stood tall at the front of the Church, trying not to let his emotions get the best of him before the ceremony had even started.

But, afterall, it wasn’t every day that you got to officiate your grandchild’s wedding.

He had given himself a tidy haircut today, a silvery blonde so as not to take attention away from the brides. Between that and the emerald eyes he had chosen, he could have passed as the son of the two men seated in the front row. He could tell that they had already noticed, Draco rubbing Harry’s back as the latter attempted to stem his tears.

Teddy and Draco shared a smirk. It seemed that Harry would never grow out of his emotions after all.

A quick check of his watch told him that he had a few more minutes, so he left his post to approach his fathers.

“One last check?”

Draco chuckled, reaching forward to straighten Teddy’s waistcoat and bowtie just as he had so many times before. Harry managed to refrain from ruffling Teddy’s hair, settling for a hand squeeze and “Go get ‘em tiger,” before Teddy returned to the altar, just in time for the procession to begin.

Five

Oscar chuckled as Teddy ran to their closet and began rifling through their waistcoats.

“It’s a hospital, love. No one will expect you to wear a waistcoat.” He ran his hand down his lover’s back. “In fact I’d say they’ll be expecting just about anything but a waistcoat.”

Teddy huffed a laugh as he pulled out his favourite, a deep blue with tiny emerald flecks. “Well, then they don’t know me very well, do they?”

Oscar pulled them closer to him, pressing a kiss to their hair. “I suppose not.”

Teddy kissed their husband, soft and slow, before retreating to the bathroom to get ready.

After all, it wasn’t every day that you met your first grandchild.

Four

Teddy was pottering around the house, tidying here, dusting there. It had been a while since she had had a day as free as this one, and she was enjoying the peace.

The children were at Hogwarts and Oscar had left that morning on some mysterious errand, leaving her to her own devices. Teddy didn’t always enjoy being on her own, but she had needed it today.

Now, however, she had had enough of her own company and was eager for her husband to come home.

As if her thoughts had summoned him, the Floo flared bright green, dying back down to reveal her husband, a satisfied smirk playing across his lips.

“And just what have you done?” Teddy tried to play it straight, to restrain her laughter, but to no avail. She allowed Oscar to sweep her off her feet and dance her around the room, both giggling all the while.

“I brought you a present,” Oscar said eventually, letting go of one of Teddy’s hands to reach into his pocket.

“Maybe I should have asked first,” he said nervously, “but I wanted to give you something that you didn’t expect.”

“I’ll love anything you get…me…” She trailed off as she pulled the paper away to reveal her gift.

Nestled in the folds of tissue paper was the softest, prettiest waistcoat she had ever seen. But more than that, it was cut differently than her others; more generous in the chest, tailored in at the waist.

“Is this-”

“I thought you should have one for every version of you,” Oscar replied softly, gently wiping her tears away.

Forever after Oscar would tease her for the fact that her first words were “I bet even Draco doesn’t have one of these.”

Three

Teddy looked down into Anna’s perfect little face, unable to believe that someone so perfect was theirs. There would always be a part of them that mourned the first three weeks of his daughter’s life, but she was safe now and they and Oscar were going to love her forever.

The door opened softly behind him, and Teddy didn’t need to look away from his daughter to know who it was.

“With her blonde hair and pointy chin, anyone would believe she’s your actual grandchild.”

Draco knelt beside the rocking chair and reached out to run a finger down the baby’s face.

“She is my actual grandchild. You of all people should know that blood doesn’t equal family.”

Teddy huffed a laugh. “True.”

Draco stood for a moment, before kneeling back down, a tiny garment now in his hands.

“I thought she should have one, since you did.”

Two

Teddy had known from the time she was fifteen that she would be wearing a dress at her wedding. Before then, she had wavered between a pretty dress and her beloved waistcoats. But watching her Aunts Pansy, Ginny and Luna sway together at their wedding, each in their own perfect dress, had made up her mind.

Whether Draco liked it or not, Teddy would have the swishiest, softest dress she could find. She had expected Harry to object too, to extol the virtues of a comfy pair of jeans and loose shirt, however he had been her staunchest advocate.

So here she was, a father on each arm, her unruly blonde hair cascading down her back as her dress floated around her feet with each step down the aisle. Oscar stood under the Wealey’s biggest tree, eyes shining suspiciously as Teddy approached. There had been a time where she had doubted this could ever happen, doubted anyone would ever love all of her. But Oscar loved her in a way she had only ever associated with her fathers — quietly, unconditionally, and all-encompassing.

Later, Teddy thanked Merlin for Pensieves, as the whole ceremony seemed to pass in a blur. Before she knew it they were back in the Burrow, rose petals clinging to her hair from over enthusiastic relatives, wrapped up in the tightest hug she had ever received. She let herself sink into Oscar’s embrace, let herself feel every emotion running through her veins. She hadn’t known what to expect in this moment, but it was more than she could have ever imagined.

After both a second and an age, Oscar pulled back, leaving a final kiss on her hair. “I got you something for the party,” he said, running a hand down Teddy’s cheek. “You don’t need to use it, but, well, I thought you’d like the option, at least.”

Stepping aside, Oscar waved to the bed behind him, upon which was laid a pair of wash-worn jeans and the most exquisite waistcoat Teddy had ever seen.

“I know you know this, but I wanted you to really know, today of all days, that I love all of you. The good, the bad, the serious, the silly. The femme and the masc.” Teddy reached out to wipe the tears off her husband’s face.

“I know, silly. And I love all of you too, even the sappy bits.”

Later on, Teddy would dance with her new husband in her soft, swishy dress. But she would bid her parents goodbye in her brand new waistcoat, just as she had on each September 1st.

One

Teddy rifled through his trunk, searching for the perfect first-day-at-Hogwarts outfit. Harry had set out his comfiest jeans and favourite t-shirt, but it just didn’t feel right. He would be meeting the people that he would spend the next seven years with, he needed to make the right impression.

The best impression.

Teddy was so focused on finding the right outfit, he wasn’t aware of the giant mess he was making behind him — nor of the two men leaning against his doorway.

“What’cha up to, Teds?”

Teddy squealed, jumping back to glare at his Godfather, who was trying to hide his own snickers in Draco’s shoulder.

“Trying to find a suitable ensemble for tomorrow,” he replied with all the gravity he could muster.

“Oh, Merlin, he’s definitely your kid,” he heard Harry mutter, which he thought was quite rude. If he was anyone’s kid, it was Harry’s. The fancy certificate in Harry’s office said so.

“What’s wrong with the clothes I got out for you?” Harry asked. “I thought you liked those clothes.”

“I do, for everyday wear.” Teddy was careful to emphasise the correct words, as he had heard Draco do many times. “Draco says you need to dress to impress.”

Teddy was pretty sure there were tears coming out of Harry’s eyes now, which he thought was a bit ridiculous. Sure, Teddy didn’t want to wear the clothes Harry had chosen, but he didn’t think that warranted crying.

Before he could step in, however, Draco had stepped into the room. “Right, let’s find you the best September 1st outfit, shall we?”

In the end, they all settled on a compromise. The next day Teddy boarded the train in his comfiest jeans and favourite waistcoat, and continued to do so for the next seven years.

Zero

Teddy burbled happily on the baby mat, blissfully unaware of the argument happening above him.

“He’s a baby,” Harry hissed. “He needs to be comfortable, not wear that…monstrosity.”

“Monstrosity?” Harry quickly shushed Malfoy, lest Teddy startle and begin to cry. “I’ll have you know that this is the finest infant waistcoat in London! Not that you’d know anything about style, Potter.”

“He’s six months old! He won’t care what he’s wearing!”

“No, but I do!” Malfoy’s gaze softened slightly. “I know you don’t like me, Potter, but the fact is that Teddy and I are related, and Andromeda wanted him to have as much family in his life as possible. I promise I won’t teach him the Dark Arts or anything.” His last words were more rueful than Harry had expected, and he snapped his gaze up to meet Malfoy’s.

“I know you won’t,” he replied softly.

“Additionally, you may be the Saviour, Potter, but you are still an eighteen year old boy. The Wizardgamot needs to believe you can look after Teddy, and thus he must be well-dressed for his Adoption Hearing.”

“I highly doubt some old Wix will care what a six month old is wearing, but fine. He can wear the waistcoat.”

Malfoy preened.

“But, I get to choose the bottoms.”
