Two of my crust punk sims, the child is called daisy and I can’t remember the name of the other girl, Nicole I think? I should have written them down.
They aren’t related, they live in shacks with daisys parents and live very weird lives I guess, I made/retextured most of the things in this image, aside from the hair, shoes on Nicole and their skin. Wall textures are from RDR2, the rug is from a prop rental site.
I also kinda messed up their money, in order to make a lot of money fast I used the basement drugs mod to grow weed. Great and fine until now where they have 19k in the bank and a field full of seed and some shrooms. It feels…not in the spirit of what I was going for, I also kinda find it a bit weird that there is a kid walking around a weed farm. (And I want to grow different things) so those plants will likely be moved somewhere else.
I am glad ceilings are in the game so now they can have actual ceilings and not white, textured and perfect ceilings like before…
And before people accuse me of being a poser or whatever, I literally freight hopped and hitched hiked to OEF this year.

Doyle Legacy 1890s - 1900s LOOKBOOK
Tumblr media
Helena Doyle Harrington 1890s - 1900s
Babies first Lookbook!😀
Helena's upbringing was marked by poverty, stemming from the loss of her mother. This hardship led her to turn to prostitution for survival. However, her future husband Eddy, rescued her from a dangerous encounter with a violent client, allowing her to leave that life behind.
Together, they transformed an abandoned hunting shed into a functioning farm for their family.
Known affectionately as "Dove," Which is a pet name given to her since she worked as a painted lady. The color red became symbol for Helena since she adopted it as her signature, using the color to accentuate her vibrant hair and attract clientele during her time in the sex work industry.
Even after transitioning from a sex worker to a devoted wife I kept that color in mind each time she got an updated wardrobe.
The Harringtons lived poorly which is also why some of Helena's outfits seem out of date for time, she utilized her knowledge of previous decades sewing patterns to make clothes for herself.
I used up every outfit slot in CAS and I'd rather not overwhelm myself so instead I chose my favorites to share!

1930s Loookbook
After the roaring 20s, fashion became more conservative in the 1930s, with hair and hemlines getting longer again. The era was defined by the great depression, after the stock market crashed in 1929, and lasted through almost the whole decade. Many families during this time began making dresses from flour sacks, and so companies began printing textiles on the sacks for extra reusability. Despite the decade's widespread poverty, fashion themes of femininity and elegance prevailed, inspired by Hollywood stars like Joan Crawford.

James Connolly Collection
This cc set is dedicated to James Connolly.
James Connolly (1868-1916) was the working class hero of the 1916 Easter Uprising. The only member of the Provisional Government of Ireland with actual military experience, as Commandant General of the Dublin Brigade of the Army of the Irish Republic continued to issue commands from the GPO while seriously wounded. James Connolly also led the Irish Citizens Army which was formed to protect workers during the 1913 lock-out. Connolly was invited to join forces with the Irish Brotherhood for the Easter Rising and he was named one of the Vice-Presidents of the Provisional Government of Ireland.
James Connolly came from extreme poverty and spent his life passionately fighting for the rights of workers and the poor against capitalists. James Connolly was active in the Socialist movements in Ireland and the United States.
James Connolly was executed at Kilmainham Jail on 12 May 1916, tied to a chair because his wounds did not allow for him to stand in front of the firing squad.

yooooo they changed their policy for early access is okay. congrats! i'm really happy for you and for the honest content creators as they (and you) really deserve it!!
https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/mods-and-the-sims-4-game-updates/
yeah I've just been told... idk I have mixed feelings towards it because it doesn't really feel like a 'win' persay.
to be thrown in with a bunch of creators I've always been outspoken against and told that I'm a piece of shit and that I should be ashamed of myself for offering early access as a thanks the kind people that chose to support me because that was literally all I could offer, that fucking hurt dude. I'll admit, I didn't realize how bad the situation was with creators taking advantage of early access was because I'm barely on tumblr and I rarely go cc shopping these days, as far as I knew I was sticking well within EAs rules and there wasn't any problem. There is absolutely a huge issue with creators taking advantage of patreon and the community right now and it still needs to be addressed, I hope EA do actually follow up on the reported blogs.
But some of us do actually put a lot of hard work and weeks of work into our content and we're not here for a quick buck or to take advantage. There is a part of early access that is GOOD, which is this communities power to give disabled or people otherwise unable to work a chance to supplement their income and not live in fucking poverty.
I don't know what my plans are now regarding patreon. its 6am and I've barely fuckin slept in 2 day because of this shit. so I'm going to sleep.

I know I'm late to seeing the whole thing with cc being locked behind pay walls and all, but thank you so much for your comments on that horrendous post. I've been homeless and currently under the poverty line, and it just made me sick reading that person's views on us poor people. I got the sims 4 back in high school for cheap because of a sale. And same with other packs. Plus I got a lot as gifts. And I am extremely grateful to cc creators as well for their work, though they wouldn't think so.
Oh anon, I’m so, so sorry about your situation. I hope things get to looking up for you ASAP.
Even if I hadn’t grown up poor, it would have rustled my jimmies seeing that post--and knowing what I do about how so many of those creators with permapaywalls (or years’ long ones) feel entitled to people’s money and blind devotion. And if they don’t get one, the other, or both, it’s time to harass, doxx, and throw fits.
What’s more, it’s pretty obvious that they’re trying to dupe the average player into forking over cash by outright lying about how CC is made, among other things.
I know my CC is pretty niche, but I hope it can bring some joy to you. (This is why I like to make basegame compatible “recolors”, so as many people as possible can indulge in funsies as possible).
This community has kept me going through so much shit in my own life, that I can’t help but see the continued fits and harassment as worth speaking up about.
I know people are going to continue being people, but that isn’t going to stop me from trying to help, even if my help doesn’t amount to much.
I hope you have a mindblowingly good start to 2021 and I want to thank you for your kind words. <3 Very wonderful to see on my work break. Please take care of yourself!!

8 Awesome and Fun Challenges to Play in 2019 in the Sims 4!
Sims players have been creating fan-made challenges for the games pretty much since the series began in 2001. Challenges are a fun way to mix up normal game play; instead of just creating a Sim and living out a normal life, you can play by a set of rules and objectives to try to reach a particular outcome.
Some challenges are more difficult than others, but all are a creative and an interesting way to introduce a more linear game play style to The Sims' sandbox game play.
Players have been coming up with different challenges for The Sims 4 since the day it was introduced. Here are some of the most fun and interesting challenges for the Sims 4; try them if you're bored with the game and looking to mix things up!
1. The Legacy Challenge The Legacy Challenge is one of the oldest, most classic of Sims challenges. Players have been doing it for years, probably since the days of the Sims 1. The basic rules are pretty simple:
Create a Sim of your choice, and move them onto the biggest empty lot, but they must start in poverty (only $10,000 simoleons, excluding the cost of the lot). The "founder" has to build their house and wealth, and then procreate to make a second generation. You play on in the single family for 10 generations. There are various challenges throughout each generation and different flavours you can add to the challenge to make it more exciting or challenging. The legacy challenge is pretty fun for a few reasons: you get to play through one bloodline for so many generations, it's got a rags-to-riches story to it, and you can really see the growth of your Sims' home, family, etc.
Check out this website dedicated to the Sims Legacy Challenge (with rules for the Sims 4, 3 and even Sims 2!) here.
2. History Challenge This is quite a popular challenge for The Sims 4. Created by user Cloudseeker on The Sims 4 forums, this challenge is designed to start in the "prehistoric" age, and takes you and your Sims throughout various time periods, ending in the Modern era.
Create two Sims (your Ancestors) and place them in an empty world (delete all lots and all Sims, or download an empty world- see link for the challenge below for more details). They will start off as your prehistoric Sims. Prehistoric era Sims can't join any jobs, but can sell collectables, paintings or woodwork. Sims can't have a "house"; they must live in a tent or on the land and can only eat food that they've caught or grown (fish, insects, fruit). Complete the goals in the Prehistoric era to move on ("Reach level 10 Fishing, Gardening and Handiness skill on the same Sim" is one of the 5 goals in this stage). Move on to Early Civilisation, where your Sims can now build a house in the Roman Empire or Ancient Egyptian style! Progress through each era- Prehistoric, Early Civ, Middle Ages, The Old West, The Industrial Age, The Roaring Twenties, and the Modern Day- by completing goals and unlocking new game mechanisms! I really love this challenge- it's an extremely unique spin on the traditional legacy challenge and the creator put a lot of thought into the eras, game play and goals. A lot of Simmers really got into this challenge too (the forum post has 45+ pages of replies on it alone!), and if you're into using CC in your game, there's a lot of themed content for each of the eras, so you can make the game even more authentic!
Check out the full challenge rules here and check out some of the amazing era-themed custom content (cheetah print loin cloths for the Prehistoric Age, anyone?), here!
3. Decades Challenge The Decades Challenge is a variation of The Legacy Challenge/The History Challenge. It's not identical to the History Challenge though, because instead of going through various eras, it's more focused on American lifestyle between 1890 to present time.
You start off in 1890. Sims can only marry within their own ethnicity, can only marry the opposite gender, can't use electricity (obviously), indoor plumbing, can only "try for baby" (no woo-hoo for fun!), and all furniture must be wooden, among other things. By 1900s, Sims can have electricity and indoor plumbing, but only men are allowed to get jobs outside the home. In 1910, male Sims must go to "war", which is just feeding the cowplant and rolling dice to see whether or not they survive! Women can finally go to work in the 1920s, but by the 1930s, anyone in a career must lose their job (the Great Depression). Each decade continues with various challenges and things to unlock until you reach the current decade! This is another one that gets major points for fun and creativity. There's challenging aspects and it stays pretty true to how life was in each of these time periods. This is another one that would benefit from downloading some themed custom content for your game (if nothing else, it's a nice excuse to give your Sims pretty Victorian dresses!).
Full challenge details are here! Historical Sims Life is a great blog which offers some custom content you can use for this challenge.
4. 100 Baby Challenge Let's change it up a bit, hey? Instead of a history-based challenge, we have this extremely fun and classic, 100 Baby Challenge! This is another that's been played through most iterations of the Sims.
Have 100 babies in as few generations as possible! Once you have a baby with a Sim, you cannot have a baby with that same Sim again (yes, promiscuity is encouraged in this challenge- have as many baby daddies as possible ;)) No cheats are allowed, but you can age up babies immediately. You must give birth to a girl to continue the legacy. The youngest girl born to the founder continues the legacy when the founder becomes an elder and can't give birth. If you don't have any girls, you lose! This is a fun and silly challenge that lots of people love playing. You can make it gender neutral if you like by using mods (so men can get pregnant), but either way, it's a fun challenge that'll get you and your Sims out and making woo-hoo with everyone they meet.
Full challenge rules here!
5. Black Widow Challenge The Black Widow challenge is another of somewhat scandalous nature; the main challenge is to marry male Sims, kill them, and inherit their money!
Start with a Young Adult female Sim. She must have the materialistic, snob and romantic traits and should have the Serial Romantic aspiration. She can move into a house but you're not allowed to use any cheats for money! She also is not allowed to work- all the money she has must be inherited from partners. Meet a Sim and get married to him. Have a dinner party to show off your new partner, and while you're there, find a potential romantic interest. Cheat on the husband with the new romantic interest, invite him over and get caught cheating. Find a way to kill off the husband (some suggestions are here) and then marry the new romantic interest! Keep all the tombstones on the lot- aim for 10 husbands to win! There's a few other rules and goals that go with the challenge, but that's the main gist of it. The Black Widow Challenge is one that's been around since The Sims 2 as well- can you seduce and kill all the Sims in your town? Check out the full details here!
6. Homeless Challenge The Homeless Challenge is one that I'd actually say is a bit hard! As we all know, part of playing The Sims is making sure our Sims are happy, but it's a lot harder to do that when you don't have the typical creature comforts. For this challenge, you must:
Make a single Sim- they can be male or female and have whichever traits you'd like. Buy and move them onto an empty lot. Using cheats, remove all their money. Your Sim can not have a job, but can obtain cash by collecting, fishing, gardening, rummaging through trash, begging other Sims for money, writing books, playing instruments, painting, or any other hobbies. In the beginning, they'll have to use public toilets and sleep on park benches until you reach the part of the challenge which allows them to start building a home. Of course, you'll need to have enough money to do that too! As you progress in the challenge, there are mini challenges (like the "building permit" mini challenge- you deduct $500 simoleons from your Sim's money and then they can start building on their lot) that'll allow you to progress The game "ends" when you have $5000 saved and have built a basic house! This is another of my personal favourites. The mini challenges are unique and fun, and it's definitely hard trying to take care of a Sim who doesn't have all the necessities at hand. There's great pride when you reach the end of the challenge and see how far your homeless Sim has come!
Check out all the full details here.
7. Asylum Challenge Time to get a bit crazy! Literally. The Sims 4 Asylum Challenge is all about managing Sims with the insane trait. Can you do it?
Make a household with 8 Sims (or find some in the Sims 4 Gallery!). All Sims must have the insane trait. You must randomize their other traits (but they cannot have the "Self-Assured" trait. Randomize their aspirations. You can pick one Sim to control throughout the challenge. The goal is to have your controlled Sim complete their aspiration (to prove they've gained control of their life) and they can then leave the asylum! No cheats are allowed, and to spice things up, you can make the house only have 5 beds, 6 seats, just one bathroom, and the cheapest electronics. This is a fun and difficult challenge; you really have to work hard to control your Sim despite their insane trait, and you also have to watch out for the other uncontrolled insane Sims in the house. I like this challenge as it's based on an in-game trait, rather than an external set of goals or objectives.
Full challenge details are here!
8. Apocalypse Challenge Sims fans have long wished for an official post-Apocalypse expansion pack (think The Sims + Fallout), but the closest we've ever gotten was Sims 3: Into the Future. The Apocalypse Challenge, however, lets you use your imagination and pretend that you're living in a post-war world!
The year is 2015, and all of Simtopia's been wiped out by an apparent nuclear war! Thankfully, your Sim has survived in their bomb shelter, and the goal is to survive there until they die of old age. Create a sim and a "shelter." The shelter is a single room which can only have the basic necessities: cheapest bed (the prison cots from Get to Work or the camping beds from Outdoor Retreat would be great), toilet, and kitchen appliances (stove, fridge, counter). Your Sim cannot leave the lot (the rest of the world is destroyed and there's the threat of nuclear fallout). If your Sims die of anything other than old age- you lose! I've seen a few variations of this challenge online, but all of them have to do with survivalist living and gives you some unique restrictions on typical game play.

Mello’s Foster Family
PACKS REQUIRED: Cats & Dogs, City Living, Seasons.
This save has CC, but I won’t link it. Credit still goes to the creators!
Hello simmers. If you’re here, you’re too lazy to create a save, but you really love the sims 4. Here is my current main save- a foster family. Let me go into some details about each character.
Libra Ellis: She’s a single mom and she found out she couldn’t have children. Her response to this was to enter the foster program in Brindleton Bay. Soon after, she became the loving mother of Micah Cavales. She tries to be a good mother, but she’s still practically a teenager who got some money out of her parents.
Micah Cavales: He’s your average boy, born into poverty. His mother left him on the doorstep of an orphanage in the middle of the night. He was in the Brindleton Bay foster program. He was passed on from family to family, until he found Libra Ellis. Her home was the perfect fit for him, so he stayed.

Immigrant Challenge
Original Post: http://www.simslegacychallenge.com/the-sims-4-immigrant-challenge/
GET TO WORK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CHALLENGE!!!
*I would recommend this challenge for a beginning simmer as it can get very complicated/confusing really fast if you aren’t experienced with the game*
The old country was your home, your birthplace. Traditional values, traditional culture and… abject poverty. You’ve heard of the stories; the avenues for opportunity and growth in the new world were all there. Selling everything you had in the old country, you are able to purchase a ticket to the new world. Arriving there, broke and full of dreams, you find that the job market in the new world is just as bad as the old world; too few jobs for too many workers. There is a spot of hope, however. Wanting to boost small business, the government is offering a loan of $20,000 to whoever starts their own business. With the promise of full citizenship if you are successful, you take the deal and now must figure out how to get your new life established.
Rules
Getting Started:
Doing so will not be easy.
The title of ‘temporary citizen’ brings many restrictions on your shoulders, not to mention you are in a land where you barely know the native language and culture. And social skills your sims has are no longer are relevant.
Start a new game.
Create a brand new YA Sim in CAS OR start with a pre-existing YA Sim.
They may be male or female, have any aspiration and any traits.
They may be human or alien.
There may not be any other sims in the household.
(#WonderChild tag in the gallery is a good way to start off this challenge.)
You may move them into any neighborhood and purchase any lot.
Pre-made houses may be used/downloaded as long as you can afford them.
Keep your house budget tight though, as you’ll be needing money for a business.
It's also a good idea to populate the neighborhood with any custom or gallery Sims that you desire (Though you don’t have to do this and may just stick with stock neighborhoods if you desire).
None may be in your immigrant’s household.
You must purchase a retail business. You may purchase any lot in any neighborhood for your business (preferably in your current neighborhood)  You are now ready to begin the challenge.
Skills (Pre-Game):
Because of the language barrier and culture shock, any skill in charisma your Sim had previously must be removed. (You can skip this step if your Sim has a 0 or 1 Charisma skill already)
To do this, do the following:
Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat console.
Enter (without the quotes) “TestingCheats On” and press enter
Enter (without the quotes) “Stats.set_skill_level major_charisma 1″ and press enter, this will set their charisma skill to 1
Enter (without the quotes) “TestingCheats Off” and press enter
Press Control + Shift + C to close the cheat console
Careers (Pre-Game):
If your Sim had a job, they must quit it immediately.
Your Sim may never take a career.
If your Sim’s spouse joins the household already in a career, they may keep it, but may not choose a new one.
Global Rules:
As per most other challenges, no cheats, mods, hacks or CC that would give you an unfair advantage over a player who does not use them.
Your immigrant Sim begins the game as a “Temporary Citizen”. Later, they may become a “Full Citizen” There are different rules that apply to you depending on if you are a temporary or full citizen, so refer to those sections.
You must play with ‘normal’ lifespans. Your Sims may not consume anything that would extend your Sim’s natural lifespan (Cow Plant Milk and Potions of Youth). Sims may not be aged up until their birthdays. This applies to ALL Sims in the household.
You may not move in or merge in Sims into your household. A single spouse may join via marriage obviously.
Besides Potions of Youth, you are free to spend earned aspiration points however you wish. You may also spend business perk points however you wish, though you can also earn points with them by leaving them unspent, see scoring for details.
Both Temporary Citizen and Full Citizen business owners are free to hire employees.
Fruit/Music may be used to influence the gender of any children resulting from pregnancies.
Temporary Citizen:
Your Sim is not yet a full citizen of the new world, and so they begin the game as a ‘temporary citizen’. This has a number of effects in the game:
Selling stuff:
Because the economy of the new world is still shaky, the government has issued strict tariffs and restrictions on foreign-made goods.
While your Sim is still a temporary citizen, anything they produce is considered ‘foreign goods’ and thus not allowed to be sold at retail or on the open market.
Sim-made objects may be created and used for normal purposes – paintings may decorate rooms, food may be eaten etc- they simply cannot be sold.
This also includes ‘found’ items (like crystals) and reward items (like party or date reward objects).
Temporary Citizens are here to create businesses and thus jobs and are strictly prohibited from profiting by non-sanctioned means.
You may not sell items in buy mode, sell items via interactions (like sell to an art gallery), may not ask other citizens for loans.
May not publish books or songs, may not play for tips or write jingles and especially not allowed to hack for funds.
The ONLY legal way to gain money is to sell items at retail. (You may sell walls and build-mode items during construction if needed)
Overpopulation:
Due to concerns for overpopulation, temporary citizens are not able to obtain marriage licenses and thus unable to be married or have other Sims join their household on a permanent basis.
Temporary Citizens may not adopt and any children born out of wedlock must be given up for adoption. (Age them up to child and move the child into another household)
The Loan:
In order to prove to the government that you will be a productive member of society, you must repay the $20,000 loan that you began the game with plus 10% interest. To replay the loan do the following:
Gather at least $22,000 in your household funds (You may transfer money out of your retail account to do this)
Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat console
Enter (without the quotes) “Testingcheats on” and press enter
Enter (without the quotes) “Money x” where “x” = your current household funds - 22000. So if your household funds were at $23,000 you would enter “Money 1000″ which would subtract $22,000 and leave you with $1,000.
Enter (without the quotes) “Testingcheats off” and press enter
Press Control + Shift + C to close the cheat console.
The moment you have paid off your loan, your Sim becomes a Full Citizen. You immediately begin playing under the new rules detailed in the Full Citizen section.
Full Citizen:
Marriage:
Your Sim may bring one Sim into the household, but it must be done via marriage.
This “one Sim” may be anybody, even if they are a pre-established Sim with skill points and/or an existing job.
If they bring in $20,000, you may keep it.
However, you may not move in any other Sims from their household (including pre-existing children) You are still barred from moving in non-spouse Sims into the household.
You may also only get married once, so a divorced or dead spouse may not be replaced.
Children:
Children born in the household may now be kept.
The family may adopt children, but they must be infants, and you may not adopt a new child when there is an infant already present
Selling stuff:
All object related restrictions are lifted.
You may now sell anything in your store, even if it is Sim-made, found or a reward object.
You may gain household income via other sources now, such as publishing books or selling paintings to art galleries.
If your Sim’s one spouse came with a job, they may keep the job and earn the family money.
Two new restrictions:
Once your Sim becomes a full citizen, you may no longer transfer household funds to the retail funds. (You may still transfer retail funds back into household funds).
You may not sell items in buy mode on your retail lot.
If you wish to get rid of an item on your retail lot, either sell it via retail and remove the restock sign or move it into family inventory and sell it from your household lot.
End of the challenge:
Your challenge ends when your immigrant Sim becomes an elder or dies (whichever comes first). If you throw a birthday party for their adult > elder transition, the challenge doesn’t end until the party does. If your business is open at the time, close it. After you do all of this, you may calculate your score
Scoring:
50 points for paying back your initial loan and becoming a full citizen
5 points if a wedding party is thrown and a gold is earned when your Sim is married.
Earn 1 point for every $10,000 (rounded down) of funds in your retail business’s bank account. The Net worth of your retail lot, the net worth of your house lot or the cash in your household funds does not factor into this score.
Earn 1 point for every 1000  (rounded down) unspent business perk points accumulated by the family business.

The Sims 4 Immigrant Challenge
source: here
The Background (Non-Wonder Child)
The old country was your home, your birthplace. Traditional values, traditional culture and… abject poverty. You’ve heard of the stories; the avenues for opportunity and growth in the new world were all there. Selling everything you had in the old country, you are able to purchase a ticket to the new world.
Arriving there, broke and full of dreams, you find that the job market in the new world is just as bad as the old world; too few jobs for too many workers. There is a spot of hope, however. Wanting to boost small business, the government is offering a loan of $20,000 to whomever starts their own business. With the promise of full citizenship if you are successful, you take the deal and now must figure out how to get your new life established.
Doing so will not be easy. The title of ‘temporary citizen’ brings many restrictions on your shoulders, not to mention you are in a land where you barely know the native language and culture. Whatever social skills you had are no longer are relevant.
Background (Wonder Child addendum)
You…were a government experiment. Bred and raised to perfection. Your entire life and childhood has been monitored, analyzed and documented. Now this same insane government that created you, wants you to move into a zombie filled irradiated disaster area to try and clean it up? “Fnarb That!” you say, and flee the country, thus finding yourself broke, seeking to establish a new life in a new country, knowing that going home is not an option.
Getting Started
Start a new game. Create a brand new young adult Sim in CAS OR start with a pre-existing young adult Sim. They may be male or female, have any aspiration and any traits. They may be human or alien. There may not be any other sims in the household. You may use a #WonderChild Sim to start off this challenge. You may move them into any neighborhood and purchase any lot. Pre-made houses may be used/downloaded as long as you can afford them. Keep your house budget tight though, as you’ll be needing money for a business.
You may also populate the neighborhood with any custom or gallery Sims that you desire (Though you don’t have to do this and may just stick with stock neighborhoods if you desire). None may be in your immigrant’s household.
Once in-game, you must purchase a retail business. You may purchase any lot in any neighborhood for your business. You are now ready to begin the challenge.
Enter (without the quotes) “Stats.set_skill_level major_charisma 1” and press enter, this will set their charisma skill to 1
Enter (without the quotes) “TestingCheats Off” and press enter
Press Control + Shift + C to close the cheat console
Lastly, if your Sim had a job, they must quit it immediately.
Global Rules
As per all my other challenges, no cheats, mods, hacks or CC that would give you an unfair advantage over a player who does not use them.
If your starting Sim is in a career, they must quit it immediately. Your Sim may never take a career. If your Sim’s spouse joins the household already in a career, they may keep it, but may not choose a new one. (The job market is lousy)
Your immigrant Sim begins the game as a “Temporary Citizen”. Later, they may become a “Full Citizen” There are different rules that apply to you depending on if you are a temporary or full citizen, so refer to those sections.

You may not move in or merge in Sims into your household. A single spouse may join via marriage.
Besides Potions of Youth, you are free to spend earned aspiration points however you wish. You may also spend business perk points however you wish, though you can also earn points with them by leaving them unspent, see scoring for details.

Gather at least $22,000 in your household funds (You may transfer money out of your retail account to help with this)
Press Control + Shift + C to open the cheat console
Enter (without the quotes) “Testingcheats on” and press enter
Enter (without the quotes) “Money x” where “x” is your current household funds – 22000. So if your household funds were at $23,000 you would enter “Money 1000” which would subtract $22,000 and leave you with $1,000.
Enter (without the quotes) “Testingcheats off” and press enter
Press Control + Shift + C to close the cheat console.
The moment you have paid off your loan, your Sim becomes a Full Citizen. You immediately begin playing under the new rules detailed in the Full Citizen section.
Full Citizen
Your Sim may bring one Sim into the household, but it must be done via marriage. This “one Sim” may be anybody, even if they are a pre-established Sim with skill points and/or an existing job.
