OVERVIEW:
Step into the shoes of the iconic Belcher family and embark on a thrilling Sims 4 legacy challenge inspired by Bob's Burgers! With just $65,000 to start and a strict no-cheat policy, guide the Belchers through five generations as they build and maintain their family-owned restaurant. Navigate unique aspirations, quirky traits, and unexpected challenges while interacting with beloved background characters from the Bob's Burgers universe. Will you preserve the legacy of 'Bob's Burgers' and create a dynasty that stands the test of time? Get ready to grill, laugh, and make memories in this exciting Sims 4 legacy challenge!
OFFICIAL RULES:
Family Funds: Each new generation starts with only $65,000 in family funds. This limited budget reflects the humble beginnings of the Belcher family and adds a challenge to building their legacy.
No Cheats: Cheats are not allowed to advance the family’s goals or acquire additional funds. This rule ensures that the challenge remains fair and requires strategic gameplay to succeed.
Legacy Succession: Each generation must have a designated heir who will continue the family legacy. The heir must be a biological child of the current generation’s primary Sims.
Unique Aspirations and Traits: Each generation must have unique aspirations and traits for their primary Sims. Avoid repeating aspirations and traits across generations to keep the gameplay varied and challenging.
Income Goals: Set specific income goals for each generation, reflecting the family’s progress in building their business empire. Achieving these goals is secondary to fulfilling the main aspirations and goals of each generation.
Background Character Challenges: Incorporate interactions and challenges involving background characters from Bob’s Burgers into the gameplay. These challenges should add depth and complexity to the family’s storylines.
Maintain Continuity: Maintain continuity between generations by referencing past achievements, relationships, and challenges in each new generation’s storyline. This creates a cohesive narrative and builds upon the family’s history.

INZOI - Love in limbo - Challenge GEN 1
GEN 1 - GEN 2 and 3 coming soon
💫Episode 1: "New city, New me"
🎭The setup (CAS):
Your zoi is moving to the city to start over after a mysterious incident. Choose to live in either Dowon or Bliss Bay.
Choose one aspiration that reflects what they want from this fresh start (career, love, freedom etc.)
Give them two contrasting outfits:
One for who they pretend to be (polished, confident, city-ready)
One for who they really are (vulnerable, quirky, dramatic, cozy etc.)
📸In-game task:
Take a photo of your zoi arriving at their new home.
Build a small starterhome, worth 20.000M. The remaining M can not be used until episode 3.
🏙Episode 2: "This Wasn`t the Plan"
Your zoi starts a job, but something throws them off.
💔They fall in love with someone completely wrong for them.
"Wrong person, right vibe?"
The setup:
Your zoi is trying to focus on work, dreams, and fresh starts...but then they meet them. The person who throws everything off.
Rules:
This love interest must oppose your zoi`s personality or goals in some way. For example: your zoi is tidy - the love interest is messy and chaotic. Your zoi is career-focused - the love interest is a flirty drifter. Your zoi wants kids - the love interest says "no thanks".
They can be a coworker, neighbor, customer, or even an NPC they meet randomly. The more inconvenient, the better.
🎯Challenge objectives:
🌪1. Build the tension
Interact daily until there is at least a mutual crush
Have a negative conversation (argument, disagreement, jealousy, awkward moment)
💬2. Keep it a secret
Your zoi and their love interest can only meet up in your or their home, or at evenings in the park.
In-game task:
Create a “secret date spot” somewhere on the map (a hidden lot or cozy room). Decorate it like a hideout. Take a photo of you together to hang on the wall
🎭"This can`t work"
Your Zoi must:
Try to break things off at least once.
Experience a sad or uncomfortable moment because of this love interest (e.g., they flirt with someone else, bail on plans, or say the wrong thing).
🎬Trigger a life moment after that:
Give your Sim a “self-care day” (yoga, new outfit, journaling).
Build something to represent their inner conflict (a painting, a messy room etc.)
🍼 EPISODE 3: "Now It's Real"
Your Zoi, despite all the drama, ends up having a child with the love interest. This changes everything.
🎯 Challenge Objectives:
👶 Have the Baby
The child must be from the original love interest.
Take a family picture— the vibes/poses should feel different (uncertain, bittersweet, dramatic).
💔 The Break Point Soon after the child is born, the relationship falls apart for good.
✅ In-game:
Break up or divorce officially.
One Zoi moves out
Take a photo of the breakup moment or aftermath.
🧼 Reset Your Life Your Zoi enters their "Clean Slate Era":
Move to a smaller or cozier home.
Get rid of at least 3 things that remind you of your ex.
Add 3 new things that represent your new identity (plants, mood lighting, fresh wardrobe, etc).
💪 EPISODE 4: "Me, Myself & Gym"
This is the redemption arc. Your Zoi’s building a new life and working on themselves.
🎯 Challenge Objectives:
🏋️♀️ Level Up
Get Fitness to Level 10 or max out one skill (music, art, cooking, etc).
Create a “me zone” at home: gym corner, yoga deck, painting room, gaming den—whatever feels like you.
🚗 Get the Car, Symbol of Freedom
Save up and buy a car.
Take a “freedom photo”: your Zoi standing by the car, smiling or leaving the house confidently.
🎨 Optional:
Do a solo hobby photoshoot (your Zoi with their painting, lifting weights, in the mirror looking fire).
👶 Parenting goals:
Bond with the child regularly.
Build a “parent & child” space at home (reading nook, play corner, shared project, etc).
Have a family picture together one the wall
💘 EPISODE 5: “Someone Unexpected”
Your Zoi meets someone new—but this time, it’s easy. No secrets, no games. Just respect and vibes.
🎯 Challenge Objectives:
💌 Meet the New Love Interest
They must be opposite of your ex. (e.g., calm where the ex was chaotic, loyal where the ex was messy.)
Get to Friendship 50% before Romance.
Go on at least two dates before the first kiss.
Let them meet your child early on. If the child dislikes them—your Zoi has to take it slow.
💍 Optional:
Build a romantic rooftop, garden café, or city-view balcony for your new dates.
🏁 FINAL GOAL: “The Life You Built”
Your Zoi has made it through heartbreak, single parenting, personal growth, and found love again—but on their terms.
🎯 Endgame Checklist:
✅ Memory board with:
A photo from each life phase (toxic love, the baby, solo era, hobby wins, new love).
✅ House includes:
A dedicated space for your Zoi’s hobby.
A safe, creative or playful space for your child.
A shared space that reflects the new relationship (romantic, calm, respectful).
✅ Personal:
One maxed-out skill.
One personal “trophy” or decoration that symbolizes everything they’ve been through (e.g., a framed photo of family, guitar, car keys, etc).
🎭💞✨🖤GEN 2 AND 3 IS COMING SOON WITH ALL THE DRAMA AND BUILDING UP THEIR NEW LIFE
Please let me know how it goes, and please add some text and pictures of your progress down in the comments.

list 5 facts about a favorite sim of yours, and send this to simblrs whose sims you adore ʚ♡ɞ
Thank you very much for this! In case it wasn't obvious… my favorite Sim is Manuelita, lol.
1 - I created Manuelita in The Sims 3; she was a very sad and timid sim. Little by little, I grew so fond of her that when The Sims 4 came out, I recreated her with a slightly sweeter appearance and a more playful personality, though I kept that melancholic/sad trait that is so characteristic of her.
2 - Manuelita was the protagonist of the only Bachelorette Challenge I've managed to complete, and she married the winner, Gusten Malmberg. 3 - Manuelita has an alter ego in my History Challenge save. Her name is Nua, and she has had three children, one of them with Zug (Gusten's alter ego).
4 - Manuelita loves to dress in bright colors and youthful clothes. Sometimes her style has a quirky yet charming touch. 5- She has frequent mood swings and can go from joy to tears in seconds.

Things you specifically or always do when playing certain videogames
I'm doing another tag game about videogames and our not-so-quirky quirks. Give 5 examples this time of habits or behaviors you commit when specific games or genres are played.
Here are mine:
Yakuza Series (PS4): I always, always call the local izakaya and order a take out of tekkamaki (tuna rolls) or some kajiki sashimi. because this game has your character nosh on premium sushi. Worse when you read the description and it always gets me mouthwatering for it. Nevermind the ramen or the donburi in that game, I love sushi and I will never play the Yakuza games without a dozen or so tekkamakis!
Streetfighter/Tekken: Or any one on one fighting games. I never play competitively. So when I sit in the arcade and play against the machine, and someone comes in about to pop in a coin, I always tell then "please don't. I do not want a challenger." I suck at actual human challengers. Thank goodness I've not encountered a jerk who ruins the game for me and let me finish my game.
Rune Factory/Harvest Moon or any farm sim: I check the list of marriageable candidates in advance and always pick the oldest bachelor. If there is an option to create a harem, mores the fun!
Resident Evil 4: I play tetris with my inventory. I am sure I am not alone in this :D
The Witcher 3: Nilfgaard always win! Also, I do not search for Ciri in the Isle of Mist until I get to talk to Countess Mignole with Vesemir still alive, then talk to Vesemir about her T_T.
I taggeth @bittersweetbark, @valandhirwriter, @regis-favorite-raven, @andordean, @alphagravy, @rotatingremains, @gauntermetaverse, @geraltyen-of-corvobianco. Anyone can also join and make their list!

Stardew Valley Sims 4 Generations Challenge
Original challenge by @chellplays, some revisions by @lybeuh
This is a twelve-generation challenge for all of the marriage candidates from concernedape’s Stardew Valley. This challenge is completely base game compatible with optional challenges for dlc. (Updated to at least High School Years EP)
Usual rules apply, meaning no cheats that give you an unfair advantage. Your sims do not have to look or be named after the characters in each generation. Do whatever you like!
Generation 1: Abigail
You were raised with humble upbringings. Your dad ran a general store, while your mom was best at complaining about your “alternative lifestyle.” You left home looking to start a life free of rules and parents, and with 20 000 simoleons in your pocket, you settled down in a new city.
Traits: music lover, loves outdoors, geek (alternatively, cats & dogs dlc: cat lover; snowy escape dlc: adventurous).
Aspiration: the curator.
Career: entertainer (musician branch) or tech guru (esport gamer branch).
Goals:
Have one “quirky” trait, appearance-wise (e.g., Unnatural hair color).
Obtain at least five points in the videogame skill.
max out the rock-climbing skill.
reach at least level 5 in any musical instrument.
Complete the frog collection.
Snowy Escape dlc: climb the top of the mountain in Mt. Komorebi
Have two best friends and marry one of them.
Befriend a ghost. Alternatively, with the vampires dlc, befriend a vampire.
Cats & dogs dlc: own a cat named David Jr., my first pet stuff dlc: have a rat, hamster, etc. named David.

A parent has put an official complaint about me to the headmistress. She's angry at me that her son failed a test... from a unit that her son missed entirely because he wasn't coming to school, and she didn't make up the material with him. She never spoke to me once about this. I am so stressed and SO PRESSED. Try to be a happy teacher in Poland challenge, level impossible. ୧(๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭
I love Mirage, he's so quirky. I didn't realise playing with servos can be this much fun in Sims 4!! Baltazar's servo has a whole range of hobbies and possibilities: he flirts with kitchen appliances, loves gardening and caring for bugs, has a knack for fabricating and juice fizzing, and as of late eagerly travels to Henford-on-Bagley to hang out with Baltazar's brother, Hieronim. ˖⁺‧₊˚✦
Just to be clear, it started because the latter would keep calling the servo to spend time together. They're both as fascinated by each other as possible. Mirage simply adores organic life, Hiero... is probably curious about the wonders of technology. Bal sometimes visits his family with Mirage but more often than not he sends his servo alone. Mirage sure is happy whenever he gets a text from Hiero. That's cute!! ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹

I absolutely love the way you have your sims be aware of the game mechanics in your stories <3 I thought that now that Windy Valley is back it would be a good time to say this, as I think this ever since you first started Windy Valley. May I ask how you've decided to start doing this?
I'm guessing you mean how I decided to start writing in this particular style, where sims are self-aware. If not, sorry!! Please send me another ask with what you actually want me to answer. LOL
So my writing lately has been heavily inspired by some great sim content creators I follow. Mostly AnotherPlumbob (Puck) and his Lacey Legacy over on Sims twitter. Somebody else that does this really well is @eurosimmer with the Strong Legacy. I'm trying to think of who else does this (I'm not the only one!) but I'm drawing a blank.
Personally I just think it's fun, quirky, and it helps explain some less realistic aspects of sims (like aliens/other occults, weirdly dressed townies, other glitches, etc). I know when I was doing my Sims 4 BACC a year or so ago I was trying very hard to keep things ~realistic (although even then I was doing some fourth wall breaks... just not at this level) and it was really suffocating my creative flow. Now I can just do whatever the heck I want and say "it's just a sims thing".
I also find this way of writing SUPER useful for challenges like BACC where everything about a sim's existence is super goal-oriented. If a sim knows they have to accomplish goals to get into a career or unlock a new townie, or do anything in life that they want, I can use it to push a story along... or just explain why they're grinding a skill for hours on end every day. Actually using the game to drive my story is my main goal. I love the randomness of it all!
I hope this helps! I love answering these types of asks so much!
