Redid my chiptune chipmunk again, and this time they have solid ears again!
Chippu (Electric/Normal): A Chippu’s tail changes shape depending on their mood and the moves they use during battle. Chippus like to sing with other Chippus, often creating very different sounds that one couldn’t make alone.
"And then I slept, and the sleep is always good. But I woke slow, wondering why I should. I try to place myself, who and when and why. I'm drawing blanks, all I know is I'm goddamn tired....
I whittle at days without any shape in mind, and then I'm bummed looking back at the shavings piled. It's a wonder I manage to breathe. Would I live if it was all left up to me? I don't know, but it kind of seems these days I'm just alive because my body babysits me."
This one is a sine on the X axis versus, on the Y axis, the inverse of that sine ring modded with a second sine wave. The second sine wave has a triangular wave linearly modulating its frequency, while the first is exponentially FM'ed by a random voltage from a sample and hold.
(I tried for a while to set up a tripod or some other rig to hold my phone properly to capture these, but ended up just tilting my 'scope up on its end, snapping the handle down above the screen and controls, and bracing the phone against that for the video. I then used some perspective correction tools in post processing.)
Redid my pikaclone of my region again. I did not include cheek marks this time around because I have bigger plans for my mons. Sine waves are a fundamental shape of wave that can be used to make other shapes, including square and saw waves. Alternative currents usually draw sine waves in their voltages as the current goes back and forth.
Chippu (Electric/Normal): A Chippu’s tail changes shape depending on their mood and the moves they use during battle. Chippus like to sing with other Chippus, often creating very different sounds that one couldn’t make alone.
I don't know what this is. "Sketch" is too fancy. "Doodling" implies distinct strong lines. "Drawing" implies a certain level of simplicity and discernibility with clearer lines. I fucking around with my pencils. Art I guess
But yeah these are more or less relatively clear compared to the ideas I couldn't put down
They're old ones it's just about time I put rough art here too not just my Instagram
(I'm not the most consistent yet lol)
Love is in the inertia at rest
(she's supposed to be ill)
"If I wanted to talk, I'd buy you dinner and make stilted attempts at conversation."
"For future reference, Pi, I happen to like Italian."
The writing on the side in brackets is the music I was listening to as I drew. The writing to the side that is not in brackets is a part of the idea of the drawing itself.
I've actually drawn this in pen, taken a printout and shaded it over in pencil, and superposed both the scans on Krita and fiddled with layer blend mode settings a bit.
Piping and Sine, from "All Roads Lead to Home," in what I've titled "Cold and Colorless World".
Description of the writing in the image under the break.
Piping's music list is:
(Cradles & Clockwork, Alpha Version)
(Three in the Morning- Aftermath)
(Requited)
Piping's text is:
Embrace the torn fabric
of your reality
It is all you have
In every possibility there is
Sine's music list is:
(Portrait)
(Despot)
(Whistling Jackhammer)
(Another Jungle)
(The changing game)
(Cairo Overcoat)
[A pencil note that says] Sounds like a Mittsies' [song] [Possibly] Titanium
(Red Miles)
Sine's text is:
For you must learn to familiarise
With the silence the world has
Waiting for you
And only you, by fate
Between the two distinct drawings is a lightly penciled bit of writing that says:
It is a cold and colorless world.
Again with the sine versus ringmod of a sine and a sawtooth, but the modulation on each side is more complex, including some envelope-like behavior. Staring at a phosphor display in a darkened room while I'm fighting off a migraine is probably not the best idea, but do I like the patterns.
