Sirene asteroid (1009) observations

Sagittarius Sirene people appeal to others when they're fulfilling their purpose or having a clear direction in their lives. For example, my cousin has this placement, and she's able to appeal to others when she's so sure about being a dancer, believing that she was made for that, following the direction set by her heart/intuition without questioning it.

I have this placement too, and I think people come to me a lot in search for answers, to understand themselves better since Sagittarius is all about expanding ourselves.

Sirene in the 5th house is about mesmerizing people when you're in the spotlight, being confident and letting yourself shine. Also when performing, so this is a good placement for celebrities. My cousin has this, and she grabs everyone's attention when dancing, plus her personality (5H) is very charismatic.

I also have Sirene in the 5th House, and I'm not so comfortable in the spotlight which to me comes from the Capricorn degree (10°, 22°). This brings delays and challenges when it comes to you expressing or getting used to this alluring energy. You have lessons to learn before you're able to own this energy.

A Leo degree shows that you're confident to use this energy, you were born to be seen and to shine under the spotlight! Guess who has this. Yes, my cousin 💃🏻⭐️ It's worth noting though, that she has insecurities and suffers from anxiety, but she still loves the spotlight and wants to shine.

Libra Sirene attracts people when they show a chill attitude, by wanting to make everyone feel comfortable or included, by using a soft voice and having a great sense of aesthetics. My dad, for example, uses a soft voice when he wants to be polite or liked by others, and shows a super chill attitude with my sister and I's friends. A couple of my girl friends simped for him 😷

My sister has this placement too and she's the type to try and include everyone in the conversation, plus she too softens her voice when being polite or wanting to be liked? She also has a great eye for fashion. And with her friends she appears more chill than how she really is (she's crazy, your honor - in a good way).

Jungkook from BTS has Libra Sirene and his singing voice is very soft compared to what I thought it would sound like at first.

He also has Sirene in the 9th House so he might drawn in more foreign fans than korean. This placement could indicate being alluring when you're open to learn from other cultures or expand your understanding of things. Think about ambiences like college, school, foreing countries.

Scorpio Siren could be appealing when they're intense, reserved, observant, alert. Also, when they're being toxic (controlling or uninterested) or give off that aura of bad boy. For example, one of my exes has this, and he pulled me in with little to no effort, he used to take his time replying to my messages and I waited for him, thinking about what he could be doing and wishing for his attention. 🤢

A high school friend has this placement too, and he had this air or mystery when he actually was doing nothing? He has Scorpio Sun conjunct Sirene, and he wasn't easy to get close to at first. It's like he gave off an air of "I'm on my own, don't bother me", and some girls pinned after him.

Sirene in the 1st House might give a great first impression considering it's the house of beginnings. RISING

An obvious one, but your rising sign is the basis of your physical appearance (specifically your face) aspects to your rising can give more insight into your appearance

Ex. I’m a Virgo rising with the moon and mars squared. So sometimes I can give more of a lunar appearance and sometimes a Martian appearance. I have softer aspects that are more tight then my squares that appear more. (Venus and Pluto trine my ASC)

CHART RULER

The chart ruler can also give you insight into your looks as well. It’ll be more like your aura but the houses rule body parts just like the sign

Ex. My chart ruler is the 8H so when matched with my Virgo rising I can’t tend to give off an intimating stoic vibe with my looks and to some I might appear naturally sexy or alluring

Can be more accurate than your natal chart rising sign, can show the inner lying beauty you have

Prominent Sirene (1009) Asteroid Observations

🦅People find often find themselves trapped or held at mercy with their charisma.

🦅Their charisma reminds me of cheese in a mouse trap, like there’s something enticing and captivating over there, but there are obvious warning signs all over telling you it’s dangerous (but of course you take the cheese anyway).

Sirene asteroid (1009)

I did a small tarot reading in order to try and understand the Sirene asteroid (1009). Observations are already up in the next post!

I specifically asked, "what's the energy of sirens?" And I've got: The lovers, 9 of wands and the Moon.

My interpretation is that they are someone who appears to be a lover or possible partner who is able to put down your guard and slip easily into your unconscious, untamed, wild side. They speak directly to that repressed and secret side of humanity, which is why men lose their minds and throw themselves into the ocean for them.

In astrology then, I understand Sirene as a placement that shows how you appeal to and attract others in a way that speaks to their unconscious and instinctive side, magnetizing them to you.

The sign shows how you do it, what energy you have to be in order to attract them. For example, Sagittarius Sirene might be people that attracts others when they're following their purpose and have an optimistic attitude which comes from knowing that there is a depth to life, that nothing is in vain.

The house is in which aspect of life you bring that energy out in the most efficent and natural way for you. For example, in the 10th House, you might be more attractive when you get to work not necessarily in a job but by rolling up your sleeves and putting effort into bringing your visions, ideas or dreams into reality. Maybe you lure people in because they feel that you can do anything you set your mind to, or that you're strict/dominant in some way.

The degree of the asteroid shows how it feels for you to be in this energy, to be appealing and alluring. A lot of you asked me about Asteroid Sirene and how it manifests in a birth chart, and initially i answered singularly, but the requests started to get out of hand a bit for me, so i decided to create a whole post on this asteroid in different signs/aspecting different planets

⁕ In Greek mythology, sirens are humanlike beings with alluring voices

Initially descripted as half human half birds then as "sea-girls with the body of a maiden, but have scaly fishes' tails"

⁕ Etymology of the name meaning: "binder, entangler" i.e. one who binds or entangles through magic song.

This could be connected to the famous scene of Odysseus being bound to the mast of his ship, in order to resist the sirens' song.

I want to make clear that this is just my view and thoughts on this asteroid and if you know a trusted source on its meaning please link it down below, i'd be very grateful 🙏

To me Asteroid Sirene (1009) has a similar energy to Lilith but it isn't as raw and destructive, it's indeed more controlled and patient. Lilith is warm blooded while Siren is cold blooded. In our birth charts it can shows where we can become manipulative, turn to our dark side and take what we want with strategy, seduction and mischeviousness.

It can also describe our seductive aura, or how we attract and magnetize others with charm (this can be both conscious or subconscious, depending on how in tune you are with yourself, and also can depend on which sign or house you have this asteroid in)

They can get quite some hidden envy from others because of how witty they can be. These people have a way with words, when they speak everyone else shut down to listen to them. I find having Sirene asteroid in Gemini is very similar to being a Siren/Mermaid how it's described in mythology, they are very cunning when they want to, know how to play games with other's minds, they are very good at putting masks on and turn the cards in their favours. (Also, the ability of sirens to change their body features reminds me a lot of Loki in Northern Mythology which happens to be associated with Mercury) They're the true puppet master and they know it. They have light and quick movements. One minute they're near you, the next one they disappeared from your view, and this is extremely fascinating to people. It's like they can't catch them even if they try so hard.

⁕ Cancer/aspecting Moon/4°,16°,28°: I think of these natives as the spy who pretend to play the damsel in distress, portrayed in old hollywood movies. Don't be fooled by their cute acting. They're actually quite good manipulators. People love how inviting they feel, so warm and nurturing, they have a healing aura to them. These natives makes other people feel like they need to protect them from the dangers of others. I think Sirene in Cancer can be naive at first, especially when inexperienced, but when they get their heart broken oh boy. If Gemini was the master at mind manipulation, Cancer is the master at emotional manipulation. They have a gracious and light aura, great posture and poise, literally princesses/princes. They truly feel like royalty, they also have this natural rich people vibe if you know what i mean. This placement is one of the most underrated one in terms of seduction, honestly when researching for this asteroid i found many siren-like women in our history that had/have Sirene in this sign, and i think it makes sense thinking about it, because Sirens are in their natural habitat out in the wild, so there's a sense of familiarity between the native and the raw energy of Sirens.

virgo sirene (6°, 18°): these people are incredible organizers and managers. their impeccable reasoning skills often lends them to being a sort of puppet master - marionettist, if you will. the fact that they always seem to know what they are doing draws people in. people likely have no qualms when it comes to this siren giving out orders and tasks. these people even draw in animals around them - their vibe is just so strong. animals sense capability and trust that these sirens will do what is best to ensure their survival. these people are the leader in an apocalypse. their critical eye for details and ability to find flaws makes people listen closely to their criticism. no one wants to upset this siren or make this siren placement feel as though they can't do a task that the siren placement has assigned. these are the people that everyone wants praise from.

10h sirene: these people have popularity, ambition, and authority on their side when it comes to drawing people towards them. no one can resist this placement who's dreams have proven to breed reality - often they say something, they make it happen, and they achieve results and recognition for their work. they also have a tendency to praise those around them and coach them into becoming achievers as well. if this doesn't resonate, perhaps this is how this placement transforms in a time of need - in emergency situations, they are likely to take charge and assume an authoritative and responsible role.
