I have answered this a few times and this time, I really tried looking for the ask but after scrolling for too long, I realised it was easier to just answer this again 😅

Irus: He's not pleased about this union and will do his best to keep Irus and the MC apart.

Elora: She's just as bad as Irus, another royal? Time to drag the MC to another part of the world to get away from Ellie's influence.

Oren: Oren is a good man and a good soldier. Ahlf would grudgingly approve of this courtship.

Anu: Anyone with divine blessings is bad news. Say bye to this relationship because Ahlf will end it before it even begins.

Have you ever thought about what are the respective ROs ages? I know MC is 25/26 in the Demo, but I'm curious on the ROs ages too since it was never mentioned (other than Anu, if im not mistaken haha)

This was answered before but I've given a very loose age range since it's not something that will come up in the game.

Elora: 23/24

Oren: 30/31

Irus: Irus would be kissing the MC before they can finish their question.

Elora: She'd kiss the MC on their face, everywhere except their mouth until the MC was a gooey mess.

Oren: He's shy, the MC's shy and in the end, he'll do a chaste peck to the MC's cheek because he can't do more without combusting.

Anu: Anu would tease the MC before eventually giving in and kissing them.

In modern! Au MC and ROs (plus Dena) are in deep relationship are attending a wedding (idk Zikar and some lucky bastard) and MC caught the bouquet from bouquet tossing. Reactions?

I'd like to think that the MC would get married before Zikar considering how often the older family members try to matchmake Zikar and fail 😂

Irus: He's probably already thought of a proposal for the MC before the bouquet was caught so he'd be questioning whether now is the right time to propose.

Elora: She'd tell the MC if they plan on getting married, she expects a very lavish proposal before she says yes.

Oren: The fool would be blushing and just so happy at the idea of possibly marrying the MC that he'd forget to ask for another six months.

Anu: She'd look at the MC like they were crazy. Catching flowers at a wedding means nothing to her.

Irus: He'd sigh and relax into the MC's touch before turning and holding them close. He's not too proud to take comfort in the MC's arms.

Elora: She'd thank the MC, lean against their touch and offer to return the favour.

Oren: He'd protest that the MC doesn't need to fuss over him but would eventually settle down as the MC massaged his shoulders.

Anu: She'd be touched by the MC's kindness and even though she wouldn't say it outwardly, she'd kiss the MC in gratitude.

Crown of Exile Fun Facts

As writing Chapter 8 is still very much in progress, I thought I'd share some fun facts about the ROs. For this round, I'll share who the ROs were supposed to be but during writing, became a different person 😆

Irus: Irus was supposed to be entitled, arrogant and most importantly, very rude towards the MC and everyone around him. Of course that didn't happen and by the time I wrote his first scenes, he was already shaping up to be a much nicer prince than I envisaged.

Elora: Elora was going to be more cruel and had originally been planned as the love rival to Irus' affections. When I planned her character, she was going to be a no-nonsense ruler who didn't care who she stepped on to get what she wanted. Fortunately, her early interactions with Irus made it clear that a love rival was not the best role suited to her character.

Oren: Oren was planned to be stoic, gruff and very detached from his emotions. Somehow, he became a soft and mild-mannered man who's incredibly fond of his family and not shy to show his emotions.

Anu: Anu was a vaguely planned character who I pictured being the leader of the resistance with a heart of gold. That changed the more I wrote her character into existence and she ended up being brash and volatile.

Let's imagine that, for a few moments, RO has traveled back in time.

RO sees a child MC sitting on the shore and looking at the horizon. If the RO asks the MC why they are so sad, they will reply, "I'm waiting for my mom to come for me."

What would they say to that?

This hurt me a little 😢 I joke. I'm cold and heartless.

Irus: He'd offer to help them look for their mother because he can't stand the sight of a sad MC.

Elora: She'd tell the MC that they could come and live in Vinia (knowing that the MC's other family is there).

Oren: He's half-sobbing and half-dragging the MC back home with him to get some proper food (no more fish) and the support of a loving family.

Anu: She'd tell the MC that there's no point in sitting around being sad and it would be better if they learnt how to fight so they won't need to rely on their mother for protection/love/insert means of parental support here.

What will RO (in relationship) react when MC go visit RO after long months they didn't see each other?

Irus: He's definitely going to cling to the MC and refuse to let go.

Elora: A lot of dates and spending time just talking to each other.

Oren: He's just happy to be reunited with the MC and will happily do nothing if it means they're together.

Anu: A lot of holding, smooching and other behind-closed-doors activities.

Let's say Mc is playing nurse helping the Ro's with an small cut. How would the Ro's react to Mc as a nurse?

Irus: He'd be over-exaggerating the cut just to get the MC to dote on him more.

Elora: She'd tell the MC that she can handle it while very much letting the MC handle it.

Oren: He'd bend over backwards to help the MC help him, so it wouldn't end up working out very well.

Anu: She'd swat the MC's hand away because it's just a scratch. Until she's dying, she can handle herself without the MC's help.

How would ROs react to a Mc who is off in their own little world just playing with the ROs' hand before slotting both their hands together and holding it, just looking happy with themselves and not noticing the ROs watching them?

Irus: Irus would be amused and touched. He wouldn't want to interrupt the MC's moment but eventually, he'd make some comment about how the MC can't keep their hands to themselves.

Elora: Elora would smile and thread her fingers through the MC's hand because she is fond of hand-holding.

Oren: He'd be a blushing mess, too afraid to interrupt the MC's moment and unsure how to tell the MC how adorable they look.

Anu: She'd raise an eyebrow before pulling their joined hands to her lips and kissing the MC's hand because there's no way she's content with just hand-holding.

What are ROs reaction to MC wearing their clothes 👉👈

Bonus for smol MCs just drowning in the clothes of their taller girl/boyfriends

As a small/short person myself, this is very relatable 😅

Irus: He's a little turned on, but equally happy to see the MC in his clothes. If the MC is on the smaller side, he's definitely going to tease the MC about drowning in his clothes.

Elora: She's definitely not checking out the MC. But she will offer them more of her clothes to try on, for scientific purposes. If the MC is small, she'll try to offer them a belt or something to tighten her clothes on them.

Oren: He'll be so touched by an MC who wears his clothes and would probably give them his entire wardrobe. With a smaller MC, he'll just want to cuddle them because the MC looks so adorable.

Anu: Anu will try not to be amused to see the MC in her clothes, especially if the MC is much smaller than her. That said, she's happier for the MC not to be wearing any clothes.

Let's imagine that the MC is so beautiful that people constantly come up to flirt with them. At the same time, the MC does not fully understand this and mistakes it for friendliness. What will be the reaction of the RO?

I have answered variations of this ask, but I'll answer it again 😊

Irus: Irus will insert himself in between the MC and the person flirting with them because he knows it's not just friendliness.

Elora: She'd be passive-aggressive towards the person flirting with the MC but would be all smiles.

Oren: He wouldn't notice and think it's just some random person being friendly.

Anu: Her fists will resolve anyone who tries flirting with the MC.

How would the RO and her Tier 1 Simp husband React to MC dropping one of the most Savage Roasts they ever heard on Salyra.

(For those who dont know what a Roast is its pretty much murdering someone with words in a humorous and sometimes harmless way but if where talking about Sal its mostly likely not completely harmless but its still humorous and some will most likely laugh at her expense).

In Chapter 9, you can tell Salyra you wished she died 🤣 So there's some nice savagery coming up.

Danzor: He'd rush to Salyra's defence and also make sure to comfort her if she's crying/hurt/upset.

Irus: He'd support the MC and their roast, and would make sure to check if the MC is okay if the situation is tense.

Elora: She'd pile on the MC's roast with a few of her own. She really hates bad mothers.

Oren: He'd try to diffuse the situation while simultaneously trying to calm/comfort the MC.

Anu: Anu would try not to react - it's a complicated situation because Salyra is her boss but she also doesn't want the MC to get hurt. At most, she'd try to pull the MC away from Salyra to calm down out of sight.

Excerpt: Zikar had decided he loathed the sea. The never-ending taste of salt, the swaying of the barge and knowing there was nowhere to escape from Nisaba’s constant wailing had left Zikar grateful for the sight of land. He dared not show any excitement at the thought of seeing his cousin again. After all, Baba was still grieving and Ama could only speak about her life in Ishari before the war. The docks came into view and Zikar let out a breath. He was sore and the familiar prickle in the back of his eyes told him that it was only a matter of time before his exhaustion was forgotten in favour of his sorrow, but for a moment, he allowed himself to imagine a life where he was not still mourning his mother. “Zikar, come and help. You will have time to explore the city later.” It was Ama. Zikar made a face before reluctantly joining the frail woman. She had lost weight since his mother had died and a pang of guilt twisted in his gut. Everyone was exhausted. His father was almost silent on most days, busying himself with Nisaba and Ama refused to allow herself to cry. Zikar’s inspection of his grandmother was interrupted as he was passed a crate with their meagre belongings. Ama had sold off the supplies that would not have lasted and the aunties from the street had promised to take care of the shop and house in Aspal. All that was left were a few sets of clothes, knitted blankets for Nisaba and some of his mother’s jewellery that his father could not part with.

A King's Decision is a Prince Irus side story available for Cyre Tier Patrons and up.

Excerpt: The unpleasant stab of guilt made Irus swallow a shuddering breath. He knew far too well what had to be done to secure his throne for seeking alliances was the only way he would ever defeat his uncle. His blue eyes shifted to the back of Ellie’s head. She was walking ahead of him, her voice low as she spoke in fervent whispers to Sir Oren. Vinia was under the threat of his uncle and the Blood Guard. It was a stark reminder of the precarious situation Irus found himself in, torn between throwing away his goals in favour of helping Ellie and ignoring the plight of Vinia because he knew that his duties demanded it of him. But the decision had already been made. It had been made when Irus sat in the small chamber, listening to Lord Redall and the High Priestess speak. He knew it when he saw your family outside in the courtyard. There was no escaping the Blood Guard or his uncle and the only way to defeat the threat of more bloodshed was through an alliance with the same people who nearly killed him at sea. A breath left Irus and he rubbed his face, suddenly tired and aching. He wanted nothing more than to find a cot where he could sleep for an eternity. Not for the first time, Irus cursed at his father for bestowing this fate upon him. Being named an heir had only taken him away from the life that once was easy. There had been no threats then, no bloodshed and certainly no writhing guilt.

Excerpt: Anu knew that the war was soon upon her. She could taste in the air, the nervousness that cloyed at the priestesses and hushed the warriors. Returning to Urur was familiar and strange. She breathed in the familiar scents and listened to the voices she knew so well and yet, nothing could have prepared Anu for the unease that slowly began to form in her gut. She had never left Ishari before, not for the war and not out of curiosity. Everything and everyone she had ever loved was in Ishari. But as she gazed at the sea, her strides faltered and she found herself gripped with a sense of panic. She had seen much beyond the borders of Urur and despite her great dislike for Dena and the pomp of the nobles in the Southern Islands, Anu could not deny that venturing from home had been a welcome reprieve. “You have been quiet since your return.” Anu’s grey eyes lifted from the sea and she turned towards Sargon. The retired warrior watched her with an all too knowing look, sending a sliver of embarrassment through Anu. She shook her head, feeling the uneven strands of her hair curling against her shoulders. A frown tugged at her mouth. How long had it been since she cut her hair?

A Queen's Indecision is a Queen Elora side story available for Ishari Tier Patrons.

Excerpt: The saccharine honey in Elora’s tea could not hide the bitterness that lingered in the back of her throat. Her fingers tightened around the clay of her cup as she stared at the missive before her. Redall had brought back even more worrying news from her mother and Elora was beginning to think that leaving Vinia had been a grave mistake. A kingdom could not function without its queen. Without Elora, the courtiers and nobles had fallen into a bickering group. It would not take too long for half of them to be swayed to Virion’s cause and the other to abandon Elora in favour of protecting themselves. A frown pulled at the corners of her lips and she reached out to massage her temple. Leaving Ishari meant that she could not accompany Iri to the Nomad Tribes. It meant that she would have to find a way to eradicate the threat of the Blood Guard in Vinia without compromising the safety of her people. A sigh escaped Elora and she turned away from the elegant writing of her mother’s letter. “Have you decided then?”

The Promise of Love is a Sir Oren side story available for Ishari Tier Patrons.

Excerpt: Oren paced along the courtyard. His boots were heavy, causing the shift of sand beneath them to shift and hiss with each step he took. Above him, the stars mocked him, for they seemed perfect despite the tension in the air. Grunting, Oren rubbed his eyes and stared at the faint glimmer of the lanterns near the docks. Redall’s barge sat proudly and beside it was Her Majesty’s warship. Going into battle meant that there would be little time to prepare. The journey to Vinia would take at least a fortnight if the seas were agreeable and the winds allowed them a swift pace. For weeks since the Blood Guard arrived in the banquet, Oren had found himself training until his palms were rough with callouses and his shoulders trembled with fatigue. He could not let the Blood Guard destroy Vinia, not where his family lived and not where innocents could be harmed. The decision that Her Majesty had taken was the right one, but Oren could not deny the thought of leaving without you left a sour taste in the back of his mouth. He had his duties to his queen and you had chosen to follow His Highness. “You look worried, Oren,” Redall remarked as he joined the captain. “I do not think I have ever seen you this agitated before.”

I have question if when MC still young Dena don't save MC in time and Emos was use knife to slay MC's neck already when time pass it leave large scar on MC's neck which RO going to ask MC about scar? and if RO know what happen what will RO + Dena react when MC meet Emos the emo again? (Also what will Papa do when he see young MC's neck hurt?)

If Dena didn't save the MC from Emos, there would not have been an MC left 😬 I'm afraid that Emos would have happily ended the MC's life with little remorse because he's crazy 😆

But hypothetically speaking, if the MC was scarred and survived such an attack, all the ROs would have asked about the scar:

Ahlf: He would have gutted Emos like a fish, regardless of the consequences that might bring.

Irus: Irus would be upset on the MC's behalf and seeing Emos would have been enough for him to attack Emos.

Elora: Seeing the MC's scar would remind her of the hard life the MC had. She'd cite some obscure law which would allow her to have Emos arrested and thrown into a dungeon.

Oren: He'd have arrested Emos, because the idea of letting the man who scarred the MC go is something he can't allow.

Anu: Anu would have relished in getting revenge for the MC and would have scarred Emos herself.

Dena: Dena wouldn't have met or known the MC without Emos - so they wouldn't care for the MC's scar or bad blood with Emos.
