The first buggy boy of my PJO wing AU!! This was so. much. fun. to draw+color. I need to break out the colored pencils more often!!

Will's wings are based on a Butterfly Cicada, specifically the species Gaeana Festiva. I have a lot of thoughts about the wing development for insect-winged demigods, but that might have to be a separate post.

This is my final chosen design as I played around with media quite a couple of times to get the right tone I wanted before making my garment.I chose for my final to use a combined illustration as I thought it would work out after talking and thinking about it.This was the right choice to choose as their is so much detail I can add to this dress using different textile technique and experimentation with more designs of textile pieces.

I am working on a comic and constantly rethinking its central premise because I am a) too ambitious and b) the storyline is forcing me to think of certain other angles that need to be explored in it... it's probably going to explore bits of Alastor and Vox's relationship before Alastor disappeared for seven years

anyways, I keep on thinking about the design for the jazz club I want to see Alastor perform in, and so now I decided to draw it out and sketch out some potential panels I want to add to this story

For those who've seen Babylon Berlin I'm going for that kind of a vibe - like the Moka Efti club: sinister, dangerous, dark, where the trumpets are growling and the beat is swinging - exactly what you would expect of a jazz club in Hell

Final found set of illustration designs as these are different. These are combined designs as I didn’t know this would work. I didn’t want to combine the traditions but to make them stand out together to create something unique. With all the prints and samples I focused on.

Another few samples to cover the other designs to see how o would be constructed them if It was to be one of these designs and how it would work after all.
