You know what I would LOVE? If we could make our own Sky houses Roblox style. Like we have a plot of land, a starter building, and a few furniture items. Any furniture props you have you can set up and make your own little home. I would LOVE to have that in game.

Headcanon/something in Au: Abyss Crew's Ship has an interior.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idk it just makes sense to me but have some reasoning for adding this.
Tumblr media
I also thought it would make the ship a more interesting setting + get to have fun figuring out where things go + another way of storytelling.
Bonus made shared spaces trying to figure out the interior design before I get to drawing it in detail (please note some things are place holders and more stuff was intended to be added in areas)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Goal is a cramped space that's simultaneously messy yet organized ( lived in vibes. )

Sky: Season of RiME
A Sky: Children of the Light x RiME fan season.
A mysterious red cloaked figure and a young crowned boy, Enu, have appeared in the kingdom of Sky. Accompany Enu on his journey to discover who this red cloaked figure is and to recall Enu's past.
I think Sky and RiME would work really well as a collab season. More thoughts under the cut!
---
Enu acts as an NPC companion during quests, much like the Little Prince. However, because he cannot fly and doesn't always want to hold hands, the player has to find more grounded ways to guide him. The player gets to experience Sky anew through Enu's eyes, and act as a friend and comfort through the joys and sorrows the journey brings.
There are five seasonal spirits and quests, one for each of the levels from RiME. Each of the spirits is an echo or memory of Enu's, and in the final quest you reunite him with these spirits in Orbit. I have a good idea of what cosmetics each of these spirits will offer. Denial brings a violin and humming emote, there's a costume to match the bird from Anger, a sentinel costume, a shade costume (and conch shell instrument), outfits to match both Enu and the red cloaked season guide, and many toys and props.
The season would take place in the Isle of Dawn, with the red cloaked figure acting as the season guide. A boat appears on one of the shores in Isle, which will take the player to a simplified version of the island from the first level of RiME.
The season credits would occur on a level that includes the boat from RiME's cutscenes, as well as the house from the finale. The level is a stark white plane, starting with the first wrecked ship. With each additional ship passed, the scene gains more color, leading to the house. Enu and Manu can be found inside, and their locations rotate depending on the day (like the office spirits.) An IAP item, Enu's Raincoat, would act like the Asteroid Jacket or Wings of AURORA, and would allow the player to visit this location.
This season would also go very well alongside a PC release for Sky👀. Perhaps there could be some kind of promotional discount for the season's iap through Epic or Steam if the player owns a copy of RiME. This would encourage players to buy and play the game, as the season would spoil some of the story.
Sky has touched on grief in the Season of Remembrance and The Little Prince. However, I believe a collab season with RiME would allow them to go more in depth with this theme. The story of RiME is something that creeps up on you and then hits devastatingly hard when everything falls into place. But it also offers a safe environment in which to feel those emotions. I'd love to see more of this kind of emotional storytelling in Sky and use the space to not only feel these emotions, but experience them with others. (It'd also be really entertaining to watch other players go through this ajhsgdfsf)

Something I decided was in NEED of drawing/concepting tonight at work: Season of the Unknown.
(Only name I could think of for a Over the Garden Wall themed season. PLEASE let me know if it's already taken!)
From Greg, you get: an emote (not sure what he'd teach you; he has SOOOO many expressions), the teapot hat for his elephant costume, Rock Facts Rock (probably just a decorative prop), frog plush (sits on your Sky Kid's head instead of back when not in use, and makes a OtGW frog croak/sound when hugged instead of a squeak), his overalls (sorry; shoes are not separate), and, I was thinking, a music sheet for one of his songs. Hard to pick between Potatoes and Molasses and Adelaide's House Parade.

The little prince came back??!!??? And no one told me?!??? No one's talking about this????!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the garden in starlight desert, there's a shared memory in the center. It's the little prince and he plays a little tune on the rhythm guitar!
Tumblr media
Brb gonna go cry my eyes out
EDIT: Wait! Also y'all remember in the fifth quest, he asked us to play the guitar because he literally didn't know how to? So it's safe to assume he learned how to play after he left 😭 (screenshot courtesy of Noob Mode)

Me: *diligently filling out the sky survey with thoughtful answers like they asked for*
Sky Survey: Hey, you're taking a while, I'm gonna close and not give you the chance to retake it.
Me: What?? I was mid sentence! I was actively typing!
Survey: Don't care. I'm also not giving you candles.

Ok ok ok SEASON IDDEAAAAAA-
I call this one the ✨Season of Stories✨ or smth-
This season's guide is a travelling storyteller who has come to the world of sky to relay their many tales to us skykids, and using their magical storybook (ultimate reward) they transport us straight into the stories and creating an immersive experience for everyone.
Like in Revival, there are no spirits. You unlock them after each quest where the Travelling Storyteller (that's quite literally their name lol) transports you to their story and retells it to you.
During the quests you follow the main spirit (or character) and follow along to their story as the Travelling Storyteller narrates it. It's like reliving memories but with some extra spice added to it, like you relive their memories but you're right there experiencing the memory alongside them. Isn't that cool??
Here's the thing though, some the spirits in this season might not be real.
The Travelling Storyteller has gotten these stories from either word of mouth or from witnessing the story themselves.
There's a chance that some of the spirits kinda sound like this one spirit but also sounds like this spirit either way there are differences and similarities but I like the idea that there's a chance that these people were myths that other spirits they shared when they were alive.
I haven't gotten an idea for the quests yet, or what they spirits are yet but if people like this idea enough I might just draw them!! (or update this post ig-)
Yeah.. So what do you think skyblr-?

Okay, I’ve got a really good Season idea.
Season of Reunion.
The spirits have long dwelled within the starry reaches of the Mother Bird… but something in the darkest depths of the sinister Wasteland is calling them back, trapping them in the kingdom of Sky. Go forth, child of light. Help bring our ancestors back where they belong.
Idea under the cut because it’s a little long and rambly.
Basically, Season of Reunion would be a chance to bring back long-loved Spirits instead of using new ones.
Each week, a new Spirit is called back, in a seemingly random place in the Realm they were first found in. Don’t know times; not good at that. This Season would require you have gone through Eden. Any Spirit called back will have the same tree theyd have if they were a TS.
The seasonal area would be a quaint camp nestled between the Forest and the Valley, though you’d enter through the Forest. It’s a cozy place with space for Spirits to roam about. There’s a bunch of candles and a Winged Light. No rain here. Pretty beautiful place, all things considered, probably called something like Forest Foothills.
The quests are all about finding how to stop the spirits from coming back again. Most Spirits are worried about the precedent this sets for the future of Sky and believe they will never go back. The first quest would be the Reunion Guide meeting with a Seasonal Spirit like… let’s say Leaping Dancer for now. Dancer is surprised to find themselves in the Valley. I’m not really good at coming up with something for the Skykid to do, so lets continue with the story.
Three weeks pass; things haven’t gotten better. Then, the Guide finds a strange dark object tethered to their… thing you ignite when you want to relive memories whatever that is. You go back through the realms to see whether burning this thing would free the Spirits. It doesn’t.
Three more weeks, quest three of five. Guide notices the krill in the Wasteland have become way more vicious. You have to lead an unknown Spirit through the whale graveyard thingy and to the Temple because theyre stranded. Quest ends with the Spirit getting krilled by the three krill near the temple, which have inexplicably come out. Don’t worry; these don’t linger.
Three more weeks. Guide realizes that a new krill is malevolently tearing up the entirety of the wasteland and encouraging evil behavior. To stop it, you must collect the candles from the Valley’s Temple to use to defeat the krill. Problem is? A few crabs have gone and hid all the candles. You find them.
Three more weeks. Finally, you are ready to face the krill. You go to the Wasteland Temple and find the King Krill, who was raised from the dead and plans to feast on the Spirits. You defeat him in a tactical battle of hiding and lighting lanterns around the room, until finally you are able to send him back into the sands where he belongs. You go back to the camp and watch as all the Spirits return to the stars. All is well.
Much like Traveling Spirits, you’d have to relive memories to get a Reunion Spirit’s tree.
I imagine the Seasonal Candles would be swapped out for regular candles, to give moths an edge. Also, candle quota would be higher, more around forty to sixty instead of twenty. Wax would give more candles as well, so only minimal changes to candle running would be needed.
Finally, this season would be a little more like Shattering in that there’s no dedicated cosmetics. Yeah, the Guide has a few things, but most of the cosmetics are returning things. Also, potential for Lore!! we love lore. A little more on the challenging side, youd probably be required to have a friend for the King Krill quest or the Spirit through the whale graveyard quest. I just think this would be really cool.
Feel free to pitch your ideas in the reblogs or replies!
