a couple eden spoilers. be careful.

do you ever think about how all the spirits are. dead? like they werent ghosts before eden. but now they are. hopeful steward is a ghost. they died as a child. they were parents. they had crushes. they had loves. they had friends. they had lives. they are dead.

and so many more people lived in the realms, don't you think? why are there so few? were there more that died, but did not survive as spirits?

something something they were alive and had lives and they all died except a few and now they have to go on with their lives knowing that they are dead and shouldn't be alive and angst. ok thank you

So I was scrolling through the Sky COTL Wiki and was reading up on the Player Friend Tree options when I found out that the “Wing Buff” unlock doesn’t count towards an actual Wing Buff. This makes sense because then players could get a million WB just from friends and where’s the fun in that?

That being said, I petition that if you have that unlocked with a friend, you will see them at the end when you’re getting the WB from spirits. You don’t get anything from them, but they’re there! How fun would that be? To see not only the Spirit friends you’ve made but all the other people you’ve met as well! Idk I think it’d be cool.

Pets you can give names to!

Who have friendship emotes (except they’re already unlocked), like cuddle, some little trick (twirl, high-five, dance - maybe each animal has a different trick?) or play?

Maybe you could give them a single accessory! Like a little bow, a flower, or a crown!

Who respond when you call! They could call back and fly/skitter around you!

Maybe you could even feed them little treats… and heart emotes would appear over their heads.

And maybe instead of unlocking them via candles, it would be via exploration and side quests!!! In Sky: Light Awaits there were these light collection quests that summoned a ghostly light creature, maybe something like this could give a pet?

A bird from wind paths, a baby manta from Sanctuary Islands, a crab from the shipwreck, a jellyfish from the sunny forest or underground caverns?

The possibilities…

We should be able to have pets I think

Like we already have the ability to have little creatures on us (bird on head, butterfly, shoulder crab) and like there’s a bird in the aviary that follows you around if you go to it first so like why can’t we have actual pets

A little birdie that flies with you and lands on the ground, your shoulder, or your head when not flying

A friendly crab that skitters behind you when you run that you can carry around on your head or shoulder and can carry while you fly

A little jellyfish that just always floats idly beside you

A manta that can give you an extra little light boost while you’re flying

A baby seal that swirls around you

Fish when you’re in the waters who fly through the air when you’re on land

Maybe even a baby krill

There’s so many options for pets and I really hope one day they’re added because this is a game about companionship and sometimes I want a little companion

it's not really a secret to anyone that sky has a huge candle problem, which, among other things, makes the community and friendship aspect pale in comparison to ✨grind✨. for many, being around people in this game is limited to candle running and yada yada. we all know that

so, while it's obviously a problem, giving out a bunch of regular and seasonal wax during the literal greed-themed scene in which spirits are literally shown spending time with each other just because of money is fucking genius

it makes us partake in the action (and the motivation) that we know and see is frowned upon, and it's. pretty damn cool

and, of course, the music and the cutscenes are just *chef's kiss*. sky knows how to make things hit you right where they're supposed to. too bad it's mostly reserved to eden/orbit and collab seasons now

You know what I would LOVE? If we could make our own Sky houses Roblox style. Like we have a plot of land, a starter building, and a few furniture items. Any furniture props you have you can set up and make your own little home. I would LOVE to have that in game.

I like animals & seeing Radiance’s new look had definitely rang some bells when I first saw it. The horns & markings on the mask might not be exactly the same as a real blackbuck, but it be cool if this was the reason for it. If it is, way to go tgc!
