SLEEPOVER FRIDAY! i was listening to rachmaninoff's vespers/all night vigil and thinking about the choir director OC we created for dear valery. good times. :)

for the asks ! if there ever was another psych movie.. what would you want it to be like/what would you want to happen?

my dear beloved mutual i must confess something to you... i haven't seen the existing psych movies yet! i haven't even actually finished the show! i know i know, insanity, but every time i go to rewatch, I fall off around early season 6 and the furthest i ever watched was i believe season 7 episode 6. The vibes just changed idk. I think it has a lot to do with shawn and juliet's relationship tbh. (i'm still trying to watch the rest of it, I'm sure I will get to it eventually ALKSJDFLAKJDS)

but. lets get back to the question at hand. gonna adjust it a bit - what do i want out of a psych movie?

well. if i allow my imagination to soar wildly, i would love canon bi shawn and/or canon bi gus or lassie. but more realistically i would love a full horror movie style homage as well, we've had episodes but a true psych horror movie would just scratch such a good itch honestly, to have it not be an homage but a true horror film. the show is so fun and goofy and i'd love a bit of a tone shift, its part of what i love about mr. yin presents!

I honestly think Tom gets too much hate than what he deserves, yes he was a trainwreck, and yes he was greedy and annoying and dumb and everything goes to shit because of him BUT he was just dealing with his own stuff and struggling with everything. Tho obviously I'm not a fan of him either

I think the writing of the movie is just bad. Even if I love the triple frontier boys I love them thanks to (and because of) the amazing characterizations made by the writers within the fandom, with the movie alone I felt nothing for none of them. They could've all died in the end and I would not care

65 Million Years Off - this is my ALL TIME comfort episode, its got everything i ever wanted from a psych episode and it never gets old

Disco Didn't Die, It Was Murdered - another fun episode, shout out to the funky 70s outfits they wear

Tuesday the 17th - i LOOOOOVE a horror movie parody!!!!! i love to watch this episode whenever there's a tuesday the 17th

Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark - OHHHH MY GOD EPISODE OF ALL TIME. i love episodes that really show off how resourceful and smart shawn is and this really does that

Mr. Yin Presents... - classic! this is my favourite of the yin/yang series, i love the references and the ANGST the TERROR the FEAR SOOOOO GOOOD

Last Night Gus - HONORABLE MENTION bc while its not my top five its def top 10 and i cant not mention it!!!! fucking CLASSIC and SOOOOO FUCKING FUNNY

Dual Spires - SECOND HONORABLE MENTION bc i love how WELL they did this twin peaks episode
