Did I just make sense?

I didn't mean to. I meant to crawl up your leg and smell your difference. I meant to slap myself across the nose till I sniff my own edges. I was hoping to slide into something more comfortable and crush it like meat patties against the hot griddle asphalt till the dust marinates all the way.

Cat friendly essential oils There are lots of conflicting information about safe oils, from research I feel this is the most accurate. However some aromatherapist stay lavender should not be used on cats. Lavender is such a great essentail oil and can help heal a multitude of ailments so if you choose to experience enter with it use in a diffuser first and if you wish to apply directly to you cat use a very dilute blend. As I have stated in past posts, all animals are different and cats especially are even more sensitive than dogs. So please follow the guidelines - Use diluted essential oils only Use sparingly and gradually See what oils they express an interest to If they show signs like weakened back legs, vomiting or seem off colour cease using the oils. I have personally used marjoram and cederwood with my cats when they both had a nasty virus it helped clear mucus and boost their immune system. Tatty dog my tenacious terrior, I also have another dog and 2 cats so as an aromatherapist I have to ensure I am fully aware of essential oils that can be harmful to them. When making my products I ensure they are not in the room and wash my hands before I touch them. Safest essential oils to use with dogs Below is a short list of essential oils that experts say are safe to use on dogs. Lavender: Universal oil. Useful in conditioning patients to a safe space. May help allergies, burns, ulcers, insomnia, anxiety, and car sickness, to name a few. Not for use with cats. Cardamom: Diuretic, anti-bacterial, normalizes appetite, colic, coughs, heartburn, and nausea. Chamomile: Anti-inflammatory, non-toxic, gentle and safe to use. Good for skin irritations, allergic reactions, burns. Spearmint: Helps to reduce weight. Good for colic, diarrhea, nausea. Helps balance metabolism, stimulates gallbladder. Not for use with cats. Thyme: Pain relief, good for arthritis and rheumatism. Antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral, excellent for infections and other skin issues. As I stated in a previous post, all animals are different and some maybe more sensitive that others so start off with one or two oils and alway dilute in a carrier oil. A great way to do this is to get a carrier oil like olive oil and add a few drops of your safe essential oil to it. Rub into your hands and then stroke your dog. Areas like their paws and ears are good areas to put the blended oil if you are treating for behavioural or in vernal issues. The smaller your dog the weaker the blend should be. A great blend for joint care and arthritic dogs is thyme, chamomile and lavender, you can massage the blended oil into affected areas. It can also help to calm over active dogs and dogs that suffer from anxiety. Essential oils never to be used with you pets! (The lovely image is borrowed) This is an extensive list of oils to be avoided around pets. As I stated yesterday pets nervous systems, sense of smell and vital organs are much more sensitive than ours. If you wish to use these oils make sure you diffuse in a room away from your pets. Diffuser blends for mood boost Aromatherapy is a great way to lift your mood smells play a crucial role in how we feel, from those that give us a nostalgic memory and can help to lift mood, reduce anxiety, boost your brain or relax depending on the blend structure. Aromatherapy when diffused first goes through our nose as we inhale and we smell the scent in the blend and it filters through to our lungs stimulating your limbic system which in short controls your emotions. The oils will work their way into your bloody and eventually be filtered out of your system through your liver. Diffusing can clean the air of bad scents and bacteria so it's good to use when you are ill say you have a cold, use eucalyptus, Peppermint and frankincense A good blend will contain top middle and bass notes, the top scent usually flower based and the lightest oil will give it's scent off first, followed by the middle note usually from a plant or leaves, the base note will be the last, base notes are often dark in colour some are also very gloopy/sticky, this is because they are usually extracted from bark and roots like Cinnamon.
