Witchy Ways To Navigate This Holiday Season

(Regardless of what you celebrate, it’s highly likely that you’ll be meeting with or engaging in some sort of holiday sometime during the year, so you might find this helpful. Reconnecting with family and friends can be a joy, but can also be draining for people who are easily overwhelmed by other people’s energies). THESE IDEAS ARE CUSTOMIZABLE BUT ARE INFLUENCED BY MY PERSONAL BELIEFS.

🌲Enchant your perfume or cologne with a specific intention. (Example: Ward off uncomfortable conversation, ward off nerves, energize your social battery).

🌲When choosing what to wear, include a necklace, jewelry item, or accessories (such as a tie) that you consider protective of your energy. For me, I wear a pentacle bracelet, but for you it might be something different. You can even ask spirits or deities you work with to charge it overnight on the night before with protection.

🌲I like to draw the rune Wunjo or the rune Gebo on every present I gift with invisible ink or just trace it with my finger, so it brings joy to the person receiving it! You could draw a symbol that represents joy in a similar fashion!

🌲Knot magic is an easy way to incorporate love into the gift exchanging. Tie your presents you’re giving with decorative ribbons and charge each one with love or chant over it this short chant “With love I tie thee, may all be merry!”

🌲If you’re making a special drink (hot-chocolate, mulled wine, etc) be mindful of the energy you put into it while stirring it. Hey, friend, I apologize for getting to this so late! I was never given a notification for this ask. 💀

I think some other great associations of his are ravens, wolves, horses, flies, dragons (as Jormundgandr is considered a dragon by some scholars), skulls, mistletoe, and fire! These are all things he is pretty heavily associated with. especially these days. Common SPGs (not historically proven but shared between many modern worshippers) that I also see are spiders and foxes. Some UPGs of mine are butterflies (to represent his mastery over change and transformation) and aspen trees (I actually don't have an explanation for this one; I just think they're cool XD).

As for associated crystals (and this is SPG; I don't know if Vikings used crystals, really; that is a good question for @broomsick !), I have seen the SPG of volcanic/sulfurous stones (obsidian, hematite, fire agate, onyx, etc.), serpentine, fire quartz, smoky quartz, pyrite, multi-colored/color-changing stones (labradorite, fluorite, alexandrite, bismuth, etc.), carnelian, and tiger's eye. I have a UPG of kambaba jasper, prehnite, garnet, green aventurine, malachite, and petrified wood.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Absolutely life changing permanently brain altering 100% would recommend doing but mind you it will be extremely emotionally exhausting and overwhelming (or it was in my case) so be mindful of that!

Hi bestie!! I absolutely do have recommendations!!

First of all, Taylor actually inspired me to make a bracelet with the Evil Eye - here is a Hematite one! Hematite is the perfect stone to pair with the Evil Eye because it's about protection from negative energy. Hematite not only protects you from bad energy, it also empowers you to recognize and get rid of negative energy in your life. I love wearing Hematite because it's a heavier stone, so it's both spiritually and literally grounding. It keeps me mindful.

Another recommendation - and probably the one I'd recommend the most - is my Black Tourmaline + Tourmalinated Quartz bracelet. I specifically designed it with warding off bad energy in mind. I call Black Tourmaline the shield stone because it's so powerful at removing negative energy around you and also inside your head. (If you spiral easily, this one is for you!) I matched it with Tourmalinated Quartz (which is Black Tourmaline inside Clear Quartz) because Clear Quartz is the stone of purification and clarity. Together, they're all about cleansing negativity energy!

Obsidian is more grounding and very powerful (people call it transformational), while Smoky Quartz is softer - it turns negative energy into positive and calms your thoughts.

I've been reading and rereading and rereading Wheel of Time for decades, dreaming of the Brown Ajah. And now, finally, I have my ring. I don't usually wear gold, but by the Light, this feels good.

I feel like I should add a dash of brown somewhere. Another ring? A bracelet? Fingerless glove?

Maybe I should look into some wire wrapping tutorials and make myself a bracelet out of smoky quartz and tiger eye.

She currently has 3 different kinds of bead types: Regular, Manmade (both of which are exactly what they sound like), and VIP or VIB as we like to call them. The latter is of higher quality than the other two, but there are fewer options. It is likely that a bead type may appear as both a Regular and a VIP bead, the only difference being their quality.

Don't worry, you're not restricted to one type of crystal, you can have several types on your bracelet. She has even gone as far as considering character-inspired bracelets as commissions too, and when I say we have lists of characters, we had to make a list of the lists so we could keep track of them!

I have to brag somewhere and FB is not possible due to reasons.

Y'all, this man.

I do not have any idea how this happened, but he's magic.

(Yes babe I know you don't believe in magic, but you're magic.)

Somehow, on a federal holiday (which of course it should be, don't get me wrong at all), I received a very large box in the mail from my Treasure. Inside was...the purest happiness I could have without him being here.

I love lilacs. Lilacs and honeysuckle are my favorite flowers in the world. Well, he couldn't find lilacs in the dead of winter, but somehow, somehow, because I do not remember telling him so, he sent me a collection of amethysts.

Which are my favorite stone, jade coming in a very close second and smoky quartz third.

LOOK AT THIS.

An amethyst tree, the big circular stone is a huge chunk of amethyst, the Zodiac Stones bag have an amethyst in them, and of course the bracelet is amethyst.

And an origami crane on the card, which I also do not remember telling him that I think are awesome.

As well as a lovely little picture of lilacs with a bee on them -- and I love bees, too. Bees are great. And I know, I absolutely KNOW, I did not tell you that.
