effortlessly skilled, convincing, charismatic, and all-around powerful, Arasha Lalani can make anyone believe anything with just a few words. Formerly The Gentleman, a hero with the ability to detect lies, she moved up in the ranks when she began exploring the depths to which her mind-altering powers could be used... and in a surprising and completely left-field move, turned heel to villainy, becoming The Coroner. With her newfound abilities, she now poses a formidable threat to her former allies (who haven't taken to her new role as well as she has). Nobody, least of all her former allies, knew why she made the sudden switch. Well, she does, but if she told anyone, she'd have to kill them ;). Regardless, you could have found her being an overall softy to her fellow heroes, playing with the neighborhood stray cats, and getting overly competitive at friendly games of cards, now you can find The Coroner... when she wants to be found.

Tommy Bowe AKA The Bartender

collected, cutting, and, well, cunty, plus the best mixologist around, Tommy Bowe's got the gift of hydrokinesis, which he uses to run a fairly successful bar for metahumans. The rule? No fighting in The Bartender's bar. The result? It's become the best spot for discussions between kingpins of villainy, crooked cops, and marksmen for hire. Despite this, Tommy himself is willing to listen to any point of view, as long as they're paying. Regardless of the bar's reputation, it's also welcome to civilians and heroes. It's just that Heroes are a lot less likely to abide by his rules of amnesty. That doesn't hinder the bar's popularity though, so it's not uncommon to see someone like [REDACTED] getting a drink right next to the villain of the week. As long as they save the fisticuffs for after their drinks, Tommy's willing to let it slide. He's the number one person to go to for information in the city, as he basically hears all within his walls. He might seem like an easy target, but if you bring nonsense into his establishment, he'll make you swiftly meet his bouncer (which is his nickname for the bottom shelf stuff he'll flick his wrist and hit you with). You can find him minding his business, discussing the latest in fashion, and partaking in his real illicit dealings, which is acquiring Pokémon cards before their official release dates. Hey, everyone's got hobbies!

"I'm not gonna do that, idiot.", he fired back in the most neutral and low voice he could muster, trying to see in the semi-dark if Ian had ditched the bloody bandage on his left temple. He was a bit slumped over and holding his stomach, but Anthony couldn't see any blood there in the moonlight. He looked back up again, staring, silently trying to calm his racing heartbeat. Ian turned his head, throwing Anthony an annoyed glance. The annoyance was made irrelevant by his pale face, the blue eyes red-rimmed and tired. Ian huffed, then. He lifted one hand, swiping away a drop of sweat from his forehead Anthony could see glistening. He was also a bit out of breath, Anthony noticed. He swallowed and leaned towards his friend. "We should go inside somewhere, you need-"

"Remember when were here to watch the fireworks, last year?" A beat of silence.

"Yes." - "...was nice." -"Yeah..." - "Should do it again."

"Sure." Anthony turned his head and watched the night sky, swallowing. They should go. His heart jumped when he felt Ian slumping against his shoulder, the tiniest bit.

"Lessgo, Hacker Boy." Ian said softly. A relieved chuckle escaped Anthony's throat.
