trapped-in-grimmauld-place sirius is understandably broody, but this fic somehow manages to make it fun and so hot! tonks is an absolute delight, love their rapport, love me some german speaking blacks, and this extended smut scene is so good.

4. Did you prefer Ares or Orion?

- Sooo both of them were kind of like... meh in a sense, but Orion was more entertaining and had way more plot than Ares (tho Ares had more budget and the animation was better imo). In Orion, I disliked how they had like so many characters jammed in together because the writers obviously had no idea what to do with so many people 💀 like its okay not to include the OG cast nobody would've been mad if you excluded them or smth. However, one good thing Orion did was show how severe everything is and how prevalent the antagonists were (THEY ACTUALLY SERVED A ROLE), which Ares lacks.

25. Do you like the adult versions of the OG cast — would you imagine them to be different?

- ONG WHEN I SAW MY GOATS AS ADULTS I HAD TO SHED A TEAR FR. I love them so much I could watch a whole show with just them as adults and speaking of that, the only thing I wish we could've had was seeing them play in their separate leagues. Its been mentioned several times on several occasions that most of the main members from the OG cast played in different leagues and I wish we could have seen them at their prime and have them play against each other in something like an FFI

- So my OC slash Devil's Advocate y/n's name is Hideyoshi (last name) Toshiaki (first name), they are 17, born on 1st of January, blasian and they have taken on the role of something like an anti-hero/antagonist even though they are not necessarily evil or whatever, but simply do what they think fits a situation best and try to find entertainment in everything. I imagine them to be around 5'11 (180.34cm) and their voice actresses to be Grey DeLisle and Sawashiro Miyuki :33

- OKAYY SO you might be a little confused and lost since you haven't watched ie (let alone Orion), but I believe it should have been Ichihoshi Mitsuru who lived and not Hikaru... IM SORRY BUTTT theres so much more that could have been done if Mitsuru was the brother who lived instead of Hikaru and I will die on this hill. It might sound crazy, but I genuinely think the idea of Mitsuru having to make up for everything he's done and come to terms with the reality of his situation would have added so much more flavor to Orion

Well, you could mark today down as the day you stopped putting your name down for overtime. You suppose it was a little optimistic of you to think you might be handed a nice, easy guard shift at the Gates. Instead, you’ve been saddled with a recon job that sees you traipsing through an unidentified forest in Europe following some small-time Cardinal from the local branch of Satanic Church as he winds his way through the trees at a leisurely pace. You sigh. It’s been fifteen minutes and he hasn’t given the slightest indication that he suspects he’s being pursued. That’s poor situational awareness in action. 

Still, you suppose, casting your gaze to the treetops, it is quite nice to look upwards for a change. You’ve not had an Earth-side job for a while, and you did have a certain fondness for humans. Maybe not the one in front of you though. Where is he going? Hm. Probably looking for some poor defenceless animal to slaughter for some unholy sacrament. You suppose that’s a typical Satanist activity. Goat rituals and stuff. Seems messy.

Well, he should get a move on because you're starting to get bored. Management might be concerned about the rise in Satanic activity in this little corner of the globe but at present you can’t say you’re particularly overcome with demonic energy. You sigh a bit louder.

The Cardinal stops. You stop. He turns around.

“You are not very sneaky.”

Ah, shit. Your eyes widen in genuine surprise. In your mind you can see the mission briefing that clearly said “DO NOT ENGAGE” and you can also see your boss rubbing his brow in exasperation. Never mind.

“Excuse me?” you say.

The Cardinal takes a step towards you, regarding you with interest.

“I am saying, you are not very sneaky. Why are you following me?”

You meet his gaze and have a proper look at him. If you had to guess you’d place him as mid-twenties, with a handsome face and confident posture. The black robe suits him quite well, if you’re into that sort of thing. One of his black-rimmed eyes is white. Ah. The Mark. So he’s no mere pretender or half-committed preacher. Chosen by the Devil himself. 

He furrows his brow, craning his head to take you in. Those who have been truly touched by Lucifer can sense the presence of the celestial, just as from this distance you can feel the faint prickle of an unholy aura emanating from him. The edge of the pit. Black claws reaching for the back of your neck.

“Oh,” he breathes. “You are from upstairs.”

“Took you long enough,” you bristle. You’re sensing a great deal of interest but a distinct lack of awe. If you’re going to botch the job you may as well terrify a mortal, but things aren’t looking particularly good on that front either.

“I wasn’t sure, but-” he’s approaching you, pausing mere steps away, eyes wandering over you- “I can smell the self-righteousness on you.”

You fold your arms. This is not the way this encounter should be progressing.

“You could have the decency to sound a bit awed,” you say. “I want to make sure you know what’s happening here- you’re talking to an angel.”

It’s considered a bit of a faux pas to let on that you’re an otherworldly being in casual conversation with mortals, even those marked by the Devil, but this man’s absolute lack of intimidation is annoying the piss out of you.

“Mm,” he says, still looking you over. “Where are your wings?”

Lord above.

“Considering I’m supposed to be passing as a human, I would be a bit shit at my job if I had my wings out,” you say. Your patience is gone. Now, you could cast off your glamour, do the dramatic wing reveal that’s been frightening mortals the world over since the olden times, but you don’t want to give him the satisfaction of getting what he’s asked for.

The Cardinal tilts his head, narrowing his eyes at you.

“Are you allowed to swear?”

You squint at him. “Yes. We’re allowed to swear.” “Fascinating. Well, it seems you are shit at your job regardless, as I have rumbled you. Why are you following me? Have I caught the attention of someone up on high?” “That’s none of your business.” He laughs. “Are you trying to recruit me?” 

It’s your turn to scoff. You shake your head. “No, I think you might be a bit too far gone. Sorry.”

“That is a shame. Well…”

Leaning towards you, he fixes you with an inquisitive gaze, white eye boring into yours. “Are you interested in being corrupted?”

The forest around you seems to still as you become increasingly aware of your own heartbeat, birdsong and the breeze dimming to unimportant background instruments. This definitely isn’t supposed to happen. But you feel no pressure from the man in front of you as he awaits your answer, only genuine curiosity. An honest offer. Quite the question to drop on someone, though. Lots to unpack. Yes, yes, being born into a life of celestial servitude to the holy higher-ups wasn’t all it was cracked up to be sometimes. True, it was a bit tiring dispensing righteous justice according to a notoriously inflexible set of parameters with little room for nuance. And yeah, some of the more senior angels were really up themselves. But still, forsaking the Holy Father and throwing your lot in with the Satanists might be a bridge too far. 

…To be fair, if you fuck the unholy priest you’re supposed to be watching from a safe distance they’d probably stop giving you recon jobs. Hmm.

You take a moment to gather yourself. “I’ll pass. Thanks for the offer though.”

The Cardinal leans back and shakes his head lightly. “Ah. Thought I had you there.”

“Almost,” you joke. You joke.

“Pity.” With one hand, he sweeps his hair out of his face. It’s an irritatingly confident motion. “Well,” he says, “I am content to let you follow me for a while longer. But don’t watch me from behind for too long, you’ll fall in love.”

He raises his eyebrows suggestively. You’re not going to dignify him with a response. This job was over. Go home and receive your evisceration from your boss. Don’t think about your own hammering heartbeat and the Cardinal��s blazing eyes on you. Are you interested in being corrupted? Are you interested in being corrupted?

At your lack of response, he hums and turns to leave with a wry smile. You watch him go; your arms folded, legs steady, mind racing. He looks back over his shoulder.

"My name is Terzo. If you change your mind, you know where I am, yes? I think a little sin would suit you."

Holler just screams but louder

Deuce could possibly maybe bleat like a goat cuz devil??? (I just think it would be funny okay)

Scratch sounds like a dubstep riser probably idk

WEBLEY HISSES LIKE CERTAIN SPECIES OF TARANTULAS DO but in a happy way

Sprocket makes a soft, electronic whirring kinda noise

Maul, being a bear, uh… well, a bear’s purr literally sounds like a helicopter, so have fun with that information LOL

Nectar would make happy buzzing noises like bees do irl

Mulch would just sound like if a trash compactor was made into a Pokémon I’m sorry

Flurry could sound like a cold winter breeze or smth for their purr idk

All the guide/special Funkeys purr because I said so but they all do it differently.

Kane’s is deep and rumbly to where it sounds more like a low growl.

Sidd’s probably sounds similar but softer and not as deep (it’s an Oni thing)

Jerry’s sounds like if a dog tried to purr (very silly sound, highly recommend looking it up if you want to hear it)

Marshall’s is like. identical to a cat’s purr.

Sayso’s just sounds like an elderly kitty

Same for Doc, but his is a lil bit higher pitched and softer

UB doesn’t make noise (they’re mute)

you're not wrong! omen means something, oftentimes supernatural, that preannounces something about to happen, oftentimes ALSO supernatural, of good/bad luck. think "black cat crossing the road" or "ravens circling overhead".

goats and skeletons are both "omens", things associated with the occult or the devil. the joke is that since daemo is a skeleton goat and technically genderless, when asked if the baby was a girl or a boy, their parents answered "it's an omen" instead!

And because of his travels, he’s a very good dancer! Like, REALLY good. He learned all sorts of stuff from the places he’s been, and simply enjoys doing it which only made the skill grow

well if i posted my blue hcs i think it's only fair that i post my apollyon hcs as well!! unlike blue my take on apollyon seems to be a little different from the popular consensus and it definitely has to do w/ me not seeing any hcs for them from other people until after id crafted my own take

in terms of the different parts of Isaac, they represent a perfect crossroads- between evil and good, holy and impure, a being filled with emptiness suspended permanently between life and death.

they claim to be an angel cast out from heaven as a punishment for a crime against God so foul they don't remember what it was, and they're constantly trying to redeem themself in His eyes by being a good noodle

(i say 'claim' because as far as they know, that's the truth and what their memory tells them- my views on how the basement works are a little weird, but basically, despite being facets of isaacs imagination, everything that is true to the sacs is their truth! perception is funky, if it sounds confusing it's because it is)

their Void is living in the sense that a plant is living- it ambiently sucks in anything that comes near it and sometimes reaches out to grab things, which feels about as pleasant to Apollyon as it sounds

they're extremely apologetic about everything bc they're so worried about being a good person and redeeming themself- they panic easily over things going wrong bc they feel like it's their duty to make everything right

when they're trying to be good, a little halo shows up over their horns- when they feel like they're being bad, a devil tail takes it's place

they try to encourage the other sacs to be Good and Moral so that 'one day they can all go to heaven together'! some are more willing to play along than others

they have not caught on to the fact that lilith & azazel are demons yet. they dont need to know <3

they LOVE bugs & they love their locust friends sm and they like to pick up & carry any bugs they find

their hooves r soft n squishy on the bottom like a mountain goat's, allowing them to climb on basically any surface- sometimes they forget this and start panicking when they walk up a wall to retrieve smth because they think they're stuck

i’m thinking about meal prep and getting super fuckin’ analytical about it, to the point where i’m more focused on my mental discourse about meal prep than prepping any meals. apparently it’s a big health racket and a lot of the recipes i was finding were like shredded kale on steamed cardboard so i actually had occasion to google ‘meal prep dinner recipes -healthy’ which made my shoulder-devil smile.

but really though are you supposed to cook stuff ALL THE WAY and then just immediately consign it to leftovers? maybe it’s my ‘would i serve this to a customer?’ sense talking but i’m aiming for something like pre-prepped? it’s cool to gather up all this XP from both gryphon and goat, like take the gryphon’s model of like, “how to make legit homemade comfort food so that it is 95% finished and then went you actually want to eat it you snap your fingers and it’s done and HOT for the VERY FIRST TIME, creating the illusion that we hustled all day making chicken pot pie so that it would be ready at the exact time we psychically knew you’d come in and order it.” cause while i do sincerely love chopping, i get home from work and im tired and i’ve probably had a beer already and i don’t want to fuck around with a peeler.  i just wanna smoke a bowl and watch jeopardy! cross that with the goat’s systems, like, it never really occurred to me to make myself homemade condensed soup before, but holy fuck, just add water?!? what a good idea! the other thing is that the majority of the ppl prepping are prepping LUNCH. you can eat leftovers for lunch, happily. i don’t wanna eat proper reheated leftovers for DINNER every damn night. i want something bespoke-hot, not rice from three days ago and limp chicken skin. faced with that i’d just keep exclusively eating shitty store-bought freezer food, lusting after vegetables and pining for vitamins, like i’m doing now.

ALSO also, i know it looks great, and i’ve done this kind of thing for work before stocking the gryphon freezer and it’s IMMENSELY satisfying, but all these beautiful instagram shots of 15 beautiful identical bento box lookin’ tupperwares, like what are you doing? by the time i got to the 3rd one i’d be like i never want to eat this again. i don’t want to live in a dystopian snack nightmare! nanny-state food-scheme and, plot twist, THE NANNY IS ME. so i’m not gonna grind on quantity, i can flex quantity at work when i hopefully soon get to make 180 eggs worth of egg salad. twosies, maybe threesies, i don’t have a good track record when it comes to remembering that i previously froze smth. i need novelty- i eat one thing, even if it’s my favourite thing of all time, even if it took 3 days to prepare, the very act of eating it gives me ideas about what i want to eat next. what can i say, i’m a foodie potions nerd with adhd. i want rich, delicious caloric novelty. i wanna try some new fiddly technique. i just don’t want to do it at 7:00pm on a wednesday! i’m a young old person on that 10-5 grind! i took the bus home!
